The Fall of Cloud

I walked into the track room feeling nervous as to what would come at me. "Hey Cloud" I turned and saw BlueMint staring into my eyes, I started shaking like a school mare. "How did you know my name?" I realized I only ever told NightShade "well, NightShade told me and the other scientists." It occurred to me that I only ever saw NightShade, BlueMint, and NightShade's father. "Hey BlueMint?" I asked "what?" He replied "why did you call me here?" I was getting confused "well ya remember earlier, I was wondering if ya li-" I cut him off "yes" I yelled, I felt one half of me wanting to facehoof and the other half to embrace him. "I didn't finish" he said "I-I'm sorry please continue" I said blushing "we'll do ya like me the way ya like NightShade." He did it he actually did it "uuuhhhh" I paused and breathed out "yes, at least a half of me does, if you don't feel the same I under-" he pulled me in and kissed me, in those few seconds I knew I wanted what NightShade had spoken of before "I need to go now" I said running out of the track room. I ran into some scientist I never seen and he dropped all his papers "watch were you're going number eleven." He snapped at me "I-I'm sorry but I must be going" I said trotting away "NightShade" I yelled opening the door to the lab. She ran up to me "so, how was it?" She asked "wait you knew?" I asked "well of course I did, after what happened earlier with you and BlueMint in the hallway, so what'd he do did he kiss ya or did he try somethin' ohh I wanna know." She was looking at me as if I had the answer to life "uhh... he kissed me, but I still love you more I just developed something." "Awe my little Cloudy's got himself a big strong  stallion" she started laughing I wanted to choke her, and not in the fun way "stop it, I don't know how I'm supposed to feel right now, I'd love to take you up on that offer you made earlier, but I also don't want you two touching each other sexually, I love you and I don't want to cheat on you or anything even if you do give me permission to fuck a stallion, I also like having BlueMint as a friend and I love having you to myself." I didn't have anymore to say "well, that's very sweet and I'll be honest I wasn't all for the three way thing myself I just wanted to make you hap-" I kissed her I didn't need to hear anymore. I felt unclean having BlueMint kiss me like that, he's good looking and he's gay why is it always the gay stallions who are hot. Sweet Celestia what was I thinking I had too many thoughts going through my head a part of me wanted NightShade, the part that I felt I belonged in changed after being face to, well cock with BlueMint a part developed I was suffering. I trudged into my room locking the door and thinking in my tube for a while till I fell asleep. I woke up in the morning the voices in my head finally stopped fighting and settled on NightShade, sorry BlueMint I walked to my door trying to open it breaking the lock "damn" I huffed. Oh well doors are overrated there was a piece of paper outside on the door to the lab "Cloudy if you need me I'll be discussing the research on the PFL subject with the head of harvest." I found myself reading aloud "I need a drink" I said pressing my hoof on the intercom. A mare came from down the hallway "follow me this way" she said "do I get my whiskey?" I asked, she said nothing, so I followed the blue and grey mare "in here please" she pointed to a big empty white room. I entered wondering if this was another test the door sealed closed behind me with a hiss. "Ok number eleven" I heard a mare through the white speakers on the walks "I prefer Cloud actually" I yelled. "Ok then... Could, we have some tests for you today" she said over the speaker "damn it" I yelled "haven't I already proven how invincible and all out badass I am." I yelled "you're first test is to get freed before the time is up" big red numbers  appeared on the back wall. "Ready?" The voice asked "as I'll ever be" I murmured as a cage fell around me "begin" the voice boomed "this is easy" I said lifting up the cage and sliding under it "now test two, begin" the cage came down again and I rolled passed it's shadow nearly loosing my tail. "You've made it too easy" I yelled that was a mistake "test three" the floor opened up into a vast array of nothingness except for the section I was standing on "ah shit" I looked up and saw the cage about to fall over my head. I tried to lift this one but it was bolted to the floor I wasn't sure how to get out of this my body told me to break the bars but my mind said lift off the ceiling and climb out. "Fuck it" I said breaking the bars and flying through "anything else?" I said sarcastically "test four, begin"  I was floating, not flying but floating the floor panels had turned into fans and were blowing me into a giant cage that took up most of the rooms ceiling. "Damn" I heard myself say the bars came in around me and a floor came from the sides of the bottom bars, the fans shut off and I was dangling in a bird cage. "Well shit" I said, the timer was on two minutes to get out of the cage when it was at two hours originally, I tried squeezing through the bars but I just wouldn't fit. The only way I would get out of here was if I could rock the cage to the ground I started running back and forth between the bars swinging the cage, sixty nine seconds left. I heard the chain on the cage break as I started falling out of the sky hitting the top of the cage as it spun down. It crashed and I woke with a bar across my leg and my back on the bottom section of the cage. I didn't want to get up so I laid there, I should've gotten up, I could've moved the bar easily but I just did nothing even when the scientist came in with BlueMint and NightShade "hey guys" I just stared at them "uhh Cloud are y'all right?" Asked BlueMint "oh yeah I feel fine, why?" I asked "well you just haven't moved the bar off you" said NightShade "uh huh" I replied "so what's the problem, if you knew I could get out easily why'd you guys come in here?" I felt like I was asking too many questions again "well it's cuz we care about ya" BlueMint said "well I guess I'll go be alone with my thoughts elsewhere." I said moving the bar and getting up, I kissed NightShade and BlueMint they both looked shocked as I walked out the door.
