The Fall of Cloud

I didn't feel right, everything felt empty in my head all my thoughts just left, the fall must've set me straight, or gay I did just kiss BlueMint. "Oh my fucking Celestia" I ran back into the testing chamber where BlueMint and NightShade were talking "oh my Celestia, guys I'm sorry I don't have any thoughts in my head right now and I just feel confused." I rambled "Cloudy it's ok" NightShade assured me "yeah I'm not sayin I didn't enjoy what ya just did to me there, but I know ya must'a hit your head pretty hard so it's ok." Said BlueMint, my friends both had feelings for me and vise versa and I didn't want to hurt both of them, but BlueMint understood. These tests might be making me go crazy but at least I'll have had some friends. I woke up this morning feeling like shit, maybe it was the cage falling on me or something else. Ponies in hazmat suits were in my room observing me, everything I did they wrote it down, got up to use the bathroom they took a urine sample, if I coughed they'd swab my muzzle, if I got aroused they'd take a semen sample, I finally started to feel like a actual test subject. My friends weren't aloud in my room, I wanted to see them, I wanted to hold them. I coughed up blood right onto a hazmat pony "quarantine" one of them yelled holding down the mare with blood on her suit. They cleaned the blood off the suit and rushed her out of the room I passed out. I awoke, what happened to me, there was nopony in my room and I felt amazing, I had no idea what happened to me other than the fact that I was sick. I ran out of my room "hello anypony around?" I yelled "Cloud get back into your tube before you contaminate more ponies" I heard come out of a speaker. What the fuck had I even done? Where was everypony? what happened after I blacked out? "Cloud this is your last warning, get back into your tube we can't kill you but we can kill my daughter and I am not afraid to pull the trigger." They had NightShade, probably BlueMint too "ok I'll play your game" I yelled as I walked back into my tube. "He's in gas the tubes." I heard muffled through the speakers as a grey fog started filling my tube. "Fuck" was the last thing I said before dying, I woke up again and threw up in a bucket placed by my tube. "Cloudy!" I heard coming from my doorway "good morning" I said turning to NightShade. "My dreams were so fuckin' weird" my head was spinning "uhh was one about my dad keeping me and willing to kill me if you didn't get back in your tube" she spoke with angst "uh yeah how'd ya-" she cut me off "you talk in your sleep" that wasn't the answer I was expecting, I thought it'd be oh that wasn't a dream but I guess not. "We've been celebrating for the past few days while you were out" the hell does that mean "uhh why?" I asked curiously "well" she paused "one of the mares in the harvest should be dead on account of your blood, but she's just fine." She exclaimed "I have a small question, was that bug I got a controlled sickness, like specifically for studies?" My head was filling full of questions "yes, so sorry about that by the way I didn't want you to get treated like that, but it was all because of my dumbass of a father." She said "but I do believe you'll like the next test we have" she stated "all these damn tests when will it stop NightShade." I yelled "why would the mare have died because of my blood?" I shouted "well" she sighed "we found trace amounts of acid in your blood, not enough to kill you or anypony else, but it might just remove some hair off your coat." She muttered something but I couldn't make it out, that was reassuring I'm running around getting cut to shit and I'm full of acid, what else could go wrong. "What's this test?" I asked "you get to learn your weapons" NightShade replied cheerfully. "There's more than dart guns, turrets, and knives oh joy" I rolled my eyes I had only ever been shot by those. "Attention all staff would you please report to the mess hall for a meeting, all testing for today has been cleared" came over the speaker in the corner of my ceiling. "Does that include me?" I asked NightShade "I don't think so, but ya never know." Damn, the one test I actually wanted to learn a bit about was the one that was canceled. Me and NightShade walked down the hallway toward the mess hall to see what all the ruckus was about. There was a pony standing at the front of the room "you" he said pointing his forehoof at me "you get your test for today, don't you feel special, follow me." NightShade gave me a peck on the muzzle as she walked into the mess hall  "are you going to be teaching me this?" I asked the blue pony with the black mane, he was buff I wanted him "fuck" I hadn't realized I yelled, two ponies stared at me as we walked by them "I didn't think me teaching you would be such a big issue." He stated "I-I'm sorry I just had some... thoughts" I stammered looking at the table of weapons in the center of the shooting gallery "you are gonna learn all the weapons we have in the compound, and you'll be testing them" his voice was deep booming as he spoke. I felt like I was being yelled at by a drill Sargent, a green glow enveloped the knife that laid before me on the table I watched as it opened and pointed toward me. I jumped back "let's see what you can do mister I can't die" he snickered "what am I supposed to do?" I was lost "grab the knife" he said questioningly, I reached out my wing felling the cold steel against my feathers. "That's how ya hold a knife?" He asked "hey I haven't ever held a knife before." A alarm sounded before I could figure out what way I was supposed to hold this badass lookin knife. "Ah damn it" he said "what is it" I asked "it's your first mission, grab those two pistols from the table and meet me down by the entrance. I grabbed one of them in my muzzle shoving it into the saddlebag and shoving the other on the second side of the bag on the table, I also put the knife in and threw the bag over my back. I met the unicorn at the door "here take these it might help you better" he said hovering three vials of who knows what into my bag. I didn't know what was going to come next as I ran out into the hallway. "Alright you're going to be stationed here, and this is your target" the stallion said levitating a map and photo into my bag. "Where am I going exactly?" I asked "well you're going to Las Pegasus, not that far from here only four hundred miles... get goin." The white door to the outside of the compound opened slowly "Cloud wait" I heard somepony yell from behind me "wha-" NightShade grabbed me and kissed me "had to do that before you left." She said "what was the meeting about?" I asked "it was about your first target, word is he's taken over a casino in the center of Las Pegasus, they want you to take him and everypony associated with him down in three days." This might have been the last time I'd ever see those gorgeous green eyes. "Did Gunslinger debrief you good enough?" She asked staring at the stallion in the doorway "yeah I think so" I said not fully sure if I was ready to leave or not. I pulled her into my muzzle once more and held her, I shed a few tears walking out of the white doorway into the blinding sun. The door had closed with a clang, I was outside the compound.
