Young Dragon Getting Settle in New Life
Previous ChapterNext ChapterYoung Dragon Getting Settle in New Life
It's morning and everyone in the Sentry home is eating breakfast together as they are getting ready for the new day with their usual stuff, they appear to be bother with a little something on their minds as they look at Flash who is eating his sausage.
Flash notices the stares are all on him and he swallows his food before he speaks.
"Is there something wrong?" Flash asked.
"Something wrong? Hmm, let me see… How about the fact that you came home late last night and brought home another dragon." Sunset gestured to Ilulu sitting next to him on the other side while holding a big piece of meat with one claw.
"Hmm, did I say forgot to say good morning too?" Ilulu asked.
"No sweetie, it just that we are surprised that you're here with us." Lucoa said.
"Something that Flash forgot to tell us ahead of time, but we are willing to forgive him with hm doing a favor from each of us." Trixie grinned.
"Sure, no problem." Flash promised. But he has no idea what kind of favors those girls are planning later.
"Ilulu was really crying a lot of tears last night that by the time she stops, it was already so late at night. So, I just brought her home and decided to tell you girls about her when we wake up for breakfast." Flash explained.
"Here, these are tissue papers to the crying." Shouta handed a small packet of tissue papers.
"I have no idea on how to use these, but thanks." Ilulu thanked.
"So, got any ideas on how to help our young dragon here?" Adagio asked.
"Oh, I could show her all the great spots in town that are fun!" Sonata smiled excitedly.
"Are those spots by any chance taco places to get some tacos?" Aria asked with one raised eyebrow, this just made Sonata be silent for a moment with a smile.
"I'm sure you will be able to think of something fun to do while we're at school, but I'm a bit worried about letting Ilulu alone here while we're gone." Celestia said.
"We could try calling someone to keep an idea on her." Flash suggested.
"Are you suggesting that I need a babysitter? I have you know that I'm centuries older than most of you humans in the world." Ilulu pointed out, feeling a bit offended, that she needs someone to watch over her like a little kid.
"Easy there, you're going to new in this town and you need to at least learn the basics of how to get around. Like forming your claws into normal hands." Lucoa pointed at Ilulu's claws.
Once everyone is finish eating their breakfast, they all left the house to go for their school day and Lucoa has a little talk with Ilulu.
"Now, you can watch some TV and I left out some books for you to read. Oh, and you should be expecting someone to come by and help you get settle in, so be in your best behavior." Lucoa said.
"Okay." Ilulu rolled her eyes.
"Ilulu, I hope you don't get too loney here. I promise we'll be back, and we'll have some fun together." Flash said with his gentle smile.
The young dragon girl suddenly felt her heart beat a little harder and stop for a second with her face turning a little red, it feels like she was starting to fall in love with this guy more than she realizes even imagine hearts floating around him.
"Y-Yeah, sure. I'm looking forward to that." Ilulu looked away a little.
Lucoa giggles that Ilulu is having a crush on Flash right and that may bloom into full-on loving for the Sentry boy.
With everyone gone, Ilulu looks around seeing that she is alone in the house and just went to sit on the couch.
"Okay, now what?" Ilulu asked herself.
Ilulu see the TV in front of her and looked down to see the TV remote that Lucoa was able to show her before leaving with the books along with some books and comics, she decided to try the TV to see what kind of entertainment the humans have developed over the years in this world. But the moment she pressed the on button, the claw broke through the remote.
"Oops." Ilulu realized that she put too much strength in that thumb.
"Maybe I'll just read something." Ilulu said as she was about to grab one of the books, but then the sound of the doorbell caught her attention.
"Oh, that must be one Lucoa called for." Ilulu got up and went out to the door.
But the moment she opened the door, her face went a little deadpan because Tohru is right in front of her now, and feeling scared on the inside as she remembers how Tohru was able to beat her in their fight the other day.
"So, you're really going to stay here, huh?" Tohru asked with a firm look.
"Yes…" Ilulu nodded.
"And you promise not to cause any trouble?" Tohru asked again.
"Yes…" Ilulu nodded again.
"…Honestly, I don't know what Lucoa and Flash were thinking letting you stay with them after the stunts you pulled. I should just send you back to our dragon and pretend you were never here." Tohru complained a little.
"Wow, why don't you tell me how you really feel?" Ilulu asked sarcastically.
"Don't get all smart talk with me! The only reason I'm not doing it is because those two put in a good word and I'm the only dragon who's available at the time!" Tohru glared fiercely.
"That, and because Fafnir wouldn't leave the stupid video game he is playing right now." Tohru muttered.
"Looks, I promise Flash that I wouldn't cause any trouble in this world, so you can check with him if you don't believe me." Ilulu walked back inside.
Tohru felt like she was wasting her time with this little brat as she just wanted to get back home and enjoy herself at the home of her beloved Twilight Sparkle, but she also knew that if it was Twilight or any of the Rainbooms instead then they would jump at the chance to help a new friend.
Tohru walks in and closes the door, but the air around them started to feel a little awkward.
"(It's weird.)" Ilulu and Tohru thought the same thing.
"(We were trying to kill each other just days ago.)" Tohru thought recalled the moments in their fight.
"(There's no way Tohru would ever forgive a traitor. I know she wants to eliminate me, she said so herself, but it looks like whichever human took her in must've really tone her down.)" Ilulu thought surprised.
Both female dragons let out a sigh knowing they would have to get along in order to get through the day.
"Here." Tohru held out a stack of paper with the swords "Living with Humans Manual" and "Tohru Spark" on it.
"This is the manual I wrote about how to live your life with humans and feeling like a human." Tohru explained.
"You actually wrote something?" Ilulu asked, surprised to see that Tohru made a manual like that.
"Starting with rule number A: change your claws into hands." Tohru started the first lesson for Ilulu.
Ilulu look at her claws for a moment and then concentrate on them becoming human hands as they glow and reshaping them, but when it was done, Tohru gasp upon seeing Ilulu messed up making weird little round hands with no fingers.
Ilulu has a deadpan expression for a second and the next, she started chuckling finding this to be funny even though it was her own doing.
"How is it funny to fail at the one task you were given. Do you suck at everything or just making hands?" Tohru said, not finding this to be amusing.
"I can't transform them well, but I can still read." Ilulu said as she picks up one page to move on to the next.
"At least you can hold some stuff with those things." Tohru commented.
"It's a ball of tiny hands! Look!" Ilulu revealed as the scene zooms in to see those tiny hands on the ball hand.
"Ew! Gross!" Tohru was grossed out from seeing that. She is definitely going to get Ilulu to form real hands to not see that again.
Ilulu starts reading the first page of the manual about greetings and repeats whatever greeting one says to her.
The second thing to know is food, humans will mostly eat anything there are some humans that only eat specific types of food and those that cannot eat certain types of food like meat. Then Ilulu read the part about them not eating dragon meat and Tohru is trying to get them to try it.
Then the third part was really weird because all it says was about Tohru wanting to mate with her human before the male human.
"Everything in here is biased!" Ilulu gasped.
"It is the whole truth and nothing but." Tohru proclaimed.
Ilulu got back to reading the manual and reads that wearing similar clothes but different styles at the same time to what other humans wear will keep you from standing out too much.
Ilulu thought about this for a moment and look up to see the clothes Tohru is wearing right now.
"Hmm? Looks like you were failing at the whole blending in the first time." Ilulu commented.
"What?!" Tohru gasped. How dare this little brat mock her maid uniform.
"But whatever, I'll wear human clothing if you say so." Ilulu went into a closet searching through Lucoa's clothes.
"You're lucky that Lucoa's clothes are about the right size for you otherwise we may have a problem there." Tohru said.
"Why is that?" Ilulu asked.
"Because there are only several humans out there with big chest size like yours and Lucoa's, and then there's Celestia, I almost forgot." Tohru answered.
"Hey, do you think Flash would think I look great in this?" Ilulu asked, now wearing yellow shirt with a sun button.
"That's Celestia clothes and I don't think the style would even look good on you, and there's the fact that you're not wearing any pants." Tohru pointed out the flaws.
Ilulu look through the closet again trying to find at least some piece of clothing that would work well with her, and then she spotted them and reach out.
"How about this?" Ilulu showed that she is now wearing a blue short sleeve shirt and red shorts.
"Huh, not bad, I guess. I take the blue shirt reminds you of Flash's hair." Tohru commented.
"It does, but I feel like it could see a little something more." Ilulu looked at herself a bit more, trying to see if there is anything else she wants to add.
"I don't know why you're even bothering yourself with putting on the actual clothes when you can change your scales to become your clothes like I have." Tohru gestured at her appearance being made of her scales.
"I don't have that kind of skill, okay. I always kept failing at that every single time, so I just stop." Ilulu revealed.
"Wow, and I didn't think it was possible for her to become even lamer." Tohru deadpanned.
"Shut up!" Ilulu angered.
Ilulu went back downstairs then spotted her black cloak, and then an idea came into her head as she goes to the cape, grabbing it and then putting it on with a twirl.
"Oh yeah, now this definitely screams Ilulu!" Ilulu smiled, feeling that she has found the right outfit for herself.
"All you did was put your cape back on." Tohru said with a sweat drop, not seeing the point.
"So Ilulu, what are you going to contribute to this house?" Tohru asked.
"Contribute?" Ilulu was confused on that word.
"I mean what are you going from now on since you're going to be living here?" Tohru rephrased the question.
"Do, I don't really know. I just felt like I wanted to get to know humans some more and start forming some friendship with them like those huma kids I used to play with back in the other world." Ilulu shrugged.
For most of her life, Ilulu hasn't really thought about doing something else than going out of her home and destroying things, mostly humans and going wild in her hunt too. But she always did feel this empty feeling that what she was doing isn't right, yet she ignores them because of her parents and some other adult dragons.
Now she is free to do other things than destruction and enjoy her own life, but she doesn't exactly know what to do besides being with Flash as the only human who showed compassion and opened her eyes.
"Hmm, what to do? What to do it?" Ilulu asked herself as she lays down on the couch and look up at the ceiling.
"Well, if you're good with getting yourself custom into this house and your clothes then I believe my work here is done." Tohru said as she was about to walk to the door.
"Where does Flash go during the day?" Ilulu asked, causing Tohru to stop.
"Didn't he tell you where he goes?" Tohru asked in a slightly annoying tone.
"I don't think I was paying attention to that part." Ilulu twirled her hair a little while her cheeks are blushing.
Tohru let out a sigh, this feels like it was going to be a headache later down the line, but she decided to tolerate this a little longer and show her where Flash and the others go during the day.
(Canterlot High)
"Why are we invisible, don't the humans already know about us dragons with Lucoa being a teacher here?" Ilulu asked.
She and Tohru are walking around the schoolground of Canterlot High School while being invisible thanks to the dragon maid casting the spell on them.
"Because I don't want Twilight to think I'm lacking off from my duties as the house maid." Tohru answered.
"But anyway, here is the place where Flash and the others around their age go to during the day to get their advance educations on some things like math, science, speaking different languages, cooking, and doing sports for some extra credit or something like that." Tohru explained about the purpose of school.
"Wow, this place looks more like a castle." Ilulu commented while looking at the building.
"Funny story, this place used to be an actual castle years ago until the royal family who used to live here moved to another and the place was modeled into the school that is today. It was much bigger too." Tohru remembered that little history lesson with Twilight.
Tohru and Ilulu look around the school seeing lots of classrooms and other places in the school, seeing the students getting along despite some of them being so different from each other like one is extremely happy like a smiling sun while the other is mostly dark with the personality almost like a new moon.
And then she saw Flash walking through the hallway having a laughing moment with his friends, she can even see Shouta hanging out with some younger humans and Lucoa chatting with some of the teachers about what to do for the next class session.
"(Wow, being in school feels… I don't exactly know what that is, but it feels nice.)" Ilulu thought smiled.
"Okay, I think I'm good here." Ilulu said, walking away decided to head back home.
"Hey, don't go far from me!" Tohru ran after her.
(After School)
"We're back!" Flash announced as he and the girls entered the house.
"Flash!" Ilulu jumped onto Flash, knocking him down and burying his face in her breasts.
"I take it you had a nice day?" Lucoa asked.
"Yeah, and I decided on what I want to do from now on!" Ilulu nodded, smiling.
"Really, what's that?" Flash asked as he gently pushes her off.
"I wanna go to school with you and everyone! I wanna see more on what humans do at school and experience them, and maybe make that school my territory!" Ilulu revealed the next thing she wants to do in her new life here.
"Oh dear!" Celestia was surprised that Ilulu wants to be a student at her school.
"I think it's going to be wonderful!" Lucoa smiled, seeing Ilulu being excited to try out some human things. This could do some real good for the kid to see life differently than what she was told by others.
