The Traveler

    Everything was a little bit chaotic since the recent incident, mainly Ponyville since its the closest place that is near the Everfree Forest. Ponies had a lot of questions and nopony were getting answers, which scared them as some would start to overthink it. One of those ponies is Twilight Sparkle, an Alicorn Princess of Friendship. Which were being observed by her six.. no, seven friends with worried expression on their faces. No doubt it would cause a lot of mayhem, as some ponies including Twilight saw it with their own eyes. A bright pillar of light piercing through the sky, and making a loud BANG when it disappear. Twilight was still researching for anything that sounds familiar in one of the dozen books in her library. Finally, one of the ponies spoke up to confront the disheveled maned, purple Alicorn princess named Twilight from creating anymore mess of papers, scrolls and books for the sake of researching.

    "UUGH! Twilight, This is getting nowhere! Why don't we just go over there and see what the bucking fuss is all about."

A blue Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane and tail spoke, breaking the "silence" that the room had.

    "Ah agree with rainbow." Spoke the orange earth pony with a blonde colored mane and tail. "If we're tryin to figure this out, why can't we just go out there an see it fer our selves?"

    "For the last time, no. Princess Celestia hasn't replied the letter I sent her. Plus, who the buck knows whats out there and what caused that... light thing to just explode through the sky like that. Not to mention that its in the middle of the Everfree Forest! What if its a new villain or something?" She exclaimed. Flailing her hooves as she does so.

    "Ouh darling please." Another pony spoke, this time its a white unicorn with a very stylish mane and tail that is purple in color."It has been hours since that occasion, and I myself cannot stand my own curiosity at this point. Even if it means that i will venture out into the dirty wilderness. Can't we go? please?" She said, while giving the princess the famous puppy eyes that everypony knows about.

    "Starlight?" ask Twilight, referring to her prized pupil.

    "Well it is a good idea but, if its a villain then we should prepare and wait for it to come to us right? Besides, there are enchanted gems inside the Everfree Forest not far from Ponyville that can detect movement, and will send an alarm immediately to the crystal castle and the watchtowers, especially when they are destroyed or disabled. Plus, Ponyville has a guard system now remember? The're job is to keep this town safe from anything that is considered as a threat. I say we stay here until everypony calms down first." She explained

    "Fine, we'll wait." sighed Rainbow Dash with frustration.

    "But that ain't fair, Its three against two. Ah wanna hear what Fluttershy and PInkie are thinkin." Applejack objected while crossing both of her forelegs.

    "Oh.. I don't mind, but it will be a short trip for me because i need to get back home early to feed my cute little critters at home." Says the yellow pony with a light pink colored mane and tail.

    "well what about it pinkie?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Pinkie?" there were no answers.

"BOO!"

    "GAAAAH!" Screamed Rainbow Dash as she flew upwards and hit the ceiling. The whole room was filled giggles and laughter instantly after seeing her reaction by Pinkie pie's jump scare.

    "Best. Prank. EVER!

    "hehehe~ why don't we just wait for Princess Celestia to reply" says Twilight while giggling like a school filly.

    Meanwhile, somewhere in the Everfree Forest.On the side of the a mountain. A mysterious creature is sitting down eating an apple while leaning on a tree. its a bipedal creature. A human.

    I finished the apple i was eating and buried it. Don't question me. After the quick snack, a quick wipe for my glasses, a quick double check on my personal belongings, I packed my stuff before I realized that I'm high enough to see Ponyville from here. It looks a lot more modern than usual.

    "Ponyville seems different in this one." I said.

    "Ah yes, in this universe civilization and technology has advance quite decently." Meet Concord, the light element. I usually call him Con or Cony. Elements don't really have names so, i had to give them one.

    "C'mon, move it. The plan is to get to Ponyville before the sun goes down remember?" And that was Genocide, the dark element (yes i'm a professional edgelord i know). For him its usually Gen.

    "Alright, alright i'm going." I continued my walk through the Everfree Forest following the road that leads to Ponyville. After several minutes, I decided to do a mental checklist of the tasks that needed to be done today. They were delayed for far too long than i'm comfortable with, i needed to get back on track. "So.... powered up a generator from that sci-fi place, we helped Daring, we destroyed the core of GOOs that created the pillar of light as usual, whats next?" There was a short pause before one of them spoke.

    "That is all for now Alter, they are no more quests that needs to be done" says Cony. Yeah.. no that's not my real name, since i gave them nicknames myself they decided to give me one too. Wait, there aren't anymore?

    "Then, why are we heading too Ponyville?" I asked curiously. "Can't we just sit here and camp out?" There was another short pause before one of them spoke, this time its Gen.

    "Yeah well... one, the forest is fucking dangerous. Two, the smoke from the campfire will attract attention, and you hate attention for some fuckin reason. And three, i'm pretty sure a hotel is better than a camp. So why the fuck not?" Gen explained. Being sweary as ever. They sure are defensive when comes to my safety.

    "But.. what if they find me suspicious? I'll be coming OUT of the forest to enter Ponyville, which is the direction where light thing was. Not to mention that i'm wearing a black hoodie, a sword sheath with a sword in it, carrying a bag full of dangerous tools and a pair of jeans with a lot of pockets that's filled with-"

    "You'll be fiiiiiine. Just go with the flow, we'll teleport you out when things starts to go south. Besides, when is the last time you had a proper home to sleep in?..... Yeah i don't think so." he said cutting me of. That last part did conjure some bad memories, yeah.... waking up to something that's trying to kill you is never a good way to start a morning.

    "i'm worried about how you even recognize a situation that goes south." I sighed, hoping the ponies at Ponyville would just ignore my presence. I would be in such relief if that happens. But i know all too well that that's not gonna happen, i noticed the guard system that they had while overlooking Ponyville. And i'm pretty sure that only scratched the surface of what security they have in there.

    "Just do not forget to use your transformation gem before you reach the destination. It can cause quite an attention when used" Cony reminded. Oh yeah, the thing that I wear around my neck all the time.

    "Ouh.... right." I said, looking down to see that said gem which is tied to a simple yellow thread. I guess at this point its basically an enchanted makeshift necklace. The blue gem has two symbols on each side. A dark horseshoe on one side, and a gray hand print on the other telling me that it holds the pony form inside. I stopped in my tracks and look straight forward down the road. hmmm, it might take an hour to get to Ponyville by now. Maybe its about time i use it.

    Back to Ponyville. An hour passes, Princess Celestia said that they should go and investigate while she sends more royal guards. Everything is set and twilight and her friends including starlight, are all ready to head out. except for spike, poor little dragon only wants to go on an adventure. But the princess of friendship says no unfortunately. Just when they were about to embark on their mission, the alarm went of. All of the watchtowers are alerted and Twilight is checking the radar of Ponyville on the cutie map. Judging by the red blinking dot that is moving closer to the center of the radar, there's definitely something out there. Twilight and her friends quickly gallop through the big front door of the crystal castle and was heading towards the closest gate where the red dot is located, alerting the guards that are nearby. By the looks of their faces, It didn't take long for them to realize that something is happening.

    From the very edge of the Everfree Forest, a pony in a dark hoodie is casually trotting its way to the gate of Ponyville. "Some of the guards are already at the gate, by looks of it they're expecting something even before i got into there line of sight. I knew those gems had to do something with security, they're probably motion detectors or something." He thought to himself. Suddenly, something purple caught his eye. "Wait, is that-"

    "HALT, STRANGER!" One of the guards yelled out.

"Welp, here goes".
