It had been two years since Discord created Jinx, the daughter of himself and Fluttershy. When the princesses, Shining, and rest of the mane 6 found about Jinx with the exception of Pinkie, they were frustrated and a little angry with Discord for creating a daughter for himself and Flutters without her knowledge. However after seeing that Fluttershy was perfectly fine with having Jinx everypony calmed down and accepted Jinx. Now seven years old, Jinx had begun to slowly gain control of her powers with the help of her father and Twilight, even know she had a small portion of the chaotic power that her father had, Jinx was still powerful and despite having some control she would still have issues with her powers.

"Come on Jinx the air is marvelous up here!" called Discord as he floated in the sky with the help of his magic.

"Daddy why do I have to use my magic to fly when I have wings?" asked Jinx.

"Because Jinx believe it or not, this helps you control your magic by being able to simply concentrate on floating up here with me and besides simply flying with your wings is so boring." said Discord.

"Alright if you say so." said Jinx as she closed her eyes concentrating on floating in the sky, she began to glow blue, it was dim but after a few minutes the light subsided. Jinx opened her eyes and a disappointed look fell upon her face seeing that she was still on the ground.

"That was good try." comforted Fluttershy.

"Yes your mothers right it was a good first attempt, but let's try again." called Discord from above.

Jinx nodded, took a breath, closed her eyes and concentrated on trying to float in the sky once more. She began to glow blue once more and this time the light was slightly brighter than last time, as the light began to dwindle Jinx grunted and concentrated harder, the light became brighter and brighter, then to the point where it became almost blinding. Then a faint sound could be heard and when the light subsided Fluttershy and Discord had shocked expressions on their faces as what stood in Jinx's place was a Thestral with a strawberry red coat that had pink and blue ice cream looking swirls on it, her mane is blue & white, her irises are red and the sclera of her eyes is white, her wings are strawberry red, she had a blue & white cat tail. Finally she has a 3 batwing cutie mark which are black.

"Ow my head." Jinx said before collapsing from pain.

"JINX!" shouted her parents.

Hours later when Jinx woke, her head was still in pain and her vision was cloudy, she heard muffed voices which became clear after a couple of minutes.

"Oh no no no no no no no no what happened Discord!?" asked Fluttershy

"I told you earlier I have no idea!, chaos magic is extremely difficult to deal with especially when it backfires!" exclaimed Discord

"Mommy?, Daddy?" Jinx groaned to herself as she managed to pull herself out of bed, when she stood up the room began to spin and Jinx almost vomited but kept it together and walked downstairs.

"We have to find out someway to change her back." said Fluttershy.

"I know that, however in all honesty I don't see a problem with the way she looks." said Discord.

"I'm not saying there is one, but we still have to change her back." said Fluttershy.

"Change me back?" groaned Jinx as she saw the nervous looks on her parents faces. "Mommy, Daddy what's going on?, what do you mean by change me back?.

Fluttershy moved towards daughter placing a hoof on her shoulder "Jinx sweetie........um.........when you tried to float up in the air with daddy your magic backfired and turned you into a Thestral." she said.

"A what?" asked Jinx

"A Thestral dear, their manly called by the name Bat-Ponies because as the name says, there ponies that look like bats." said Discord as he made a mirror appear in front of Jinx, she walked back and forth taking in her appearance, touching her two small fangs with her tongue when she noticed them, after doing a couple of circles she sat in front of the mirror making faces at her Thestral look.

"So what's the problem with my appearance?" asked Jinx.

"Well dear you might be stuck forever like this." said Discord.

"WHAT!" screamed Jinx, then held her head when it throbbed.

"Possibly stuck like this.........um when daddy couldn't change you back after it happened, he realized your magic backfired changing you into a Bat-Pony." Fluttershy said calmly.

"How?" Jinx said with panic in her voice.

"As you know chaos magic is tricky, difficult, chaotic and for what ever reason yours decided to change you into a Bat-Pony..........maybe permanently when it backfired, now that doesn't mean we can't change you back, it's just a temporary problem." Discord said calmly as he could.

Jinx began to pace back and forth, talking to herself and began to hyperventilate, Fluttershy rushed to her daughter's side, but all this did was startle her. Jinx then glowed blue once more and after another blinding flash of light she was gone.

"Jinx! oh no no no Discord can you find her?!" said Fluttershy frightened.

"Absolutely!" he exclaimed.

When Jinx appeared at where she teleported, she got another spike of pain in her head, her vision became cloudy and then she collapsed once again.
