Prelude: A Call from Sunset

Friday night had arrived and like they always do, Adagio and her sisters were going to order some food and watch a movie. This was something they had been doing for quite some time and just like always, they would argue over what they would have and what movie they would watch.

Aria suggested, "I say we get burgers."

Adagio said, "I'm in the mood for Chinese."

Sonata giggled, "I'm in the mood for tacos!"

Aria groaned, "Sonata, we got tacos for seven straight weeks and I'm sick and tired of them. Give it a few more weeks and we'll get tacos again."

Adagio added, "We've been having tacos for so long, it's been over two months since we've had Chinese."

In unison Aria and Sonata gagged, "Fine, we'll get Chinese."

Aria continued, "Since we're getting the food you want, we're watching what I want."

Sonata pouted, "What about me? We haven't watched one of my movies in a while!"

Aria gagged, "Sonata, it was just last week that we watched that dumb romance movie of yours." The very thoughts of what happened the following day made her shudder, "And I am in no mood for romantic shit."

Adagio said, "Sonata, the shit you like to watch is horrible......"

Before she could finish her sentence the phone rang,

"Hello."

"Oh Hi Sunset, how's it going?"

"Dagi, I was wondering what you're doing tonight?"

"Ordering out and watching a movie with my sisters like I always do."

*sighs* "Oh, I just thought you might want to go out to dinner and come back to my place and watch a couple of movies."

"Yeah sure, we can do that. When do you want me to come over?"

"If you haven't ordered out I'd like it if you could come over now."

"We haven't ordered yet so I'll be right over."

"Alright Dagi, see you later."

"See you soon Sunny."

*CLICK*

Adagio turned around to see her sisters snickering. Aria asked, "Sunny? You're calling her Sunny all of a sudden?"

Sonata added, "Oooh, it looks like our sister has a crush!"

Adagio protested, "I don't have a crush on her! Sunny just slipped out of my mouth."

Aria heard a little bit of the conversation and asked, "So, you're going to go out to dinner and then watch a couple of movies at her house?"

Sonata giggled, "I'm betting it will be more than just that, I'm betting they'll have some dessert after......"

Adagio interrupted, "Get your mind out of the gutter Sonata. We're just friends."

Aria pointed towards the door and laughed, "Well Dagi, you better get over there. You don't want your crush to be upset!"

Adagio said, "She is just a friend, not a crush but yeah I better get going." She gave the two a smirk and continued, "And don't you two fight too much over the food or the...."

Sonata interrupted, "You better go Dagi, Sunny's waiting!"

Adagio headed out the door and took off to Sunset's. She wasn't exactly sure what was running through her mind but couldn't help but wonder what was going on. She wondered why Sunset seemed so disappointed when she told her about what she was going to do with her sisters. While she was driving there she couldn't help but wonder, "Does Sunset have a crush on me?"
