Master Chief awakens on a destroyed ship in space by Rainbow Dash. At the sight of her he is a bit taken a back. They talk for a while before Cortana appears in a chip on a machine and tells him what he has missed and what is going on at this very moment. Once he learns of his old enemy is back, he asked Rainbow if she could join him and she agrees to help. Thus begins there journey with an unknown ending.
