Chapters Its turning out to be a great morning for Twilight! Twilight slept good, had a good breakfast and found a good book to read. It was almost too perfect. Exactly, Too perfect. She was in the middle of a chapter when she heard a knock on her door. It was the mailman, Delivering a letter. Twilight took the letter and shut the door. She took the letter to her table and used her magic to open it. Upon reading, She found it as a bill. She was greatly dissatisfied and then went to see how many bits she had. This is where it goes bad, She doesn't have enough bits to pay the bill. Upon noticing this, It kinda sent Twilight into full panic mode. The bill was 1500 bits, Twilight only had 380. She was at risk of losing the library! (Oh yea, This is a house bill) the debt had to be paid off soon. 7 days to be exact but Twilight still needed a plan. Turns out, Liberian doesn't pay well, Bummer. She was stressed out until 3 days later, She got a mysterious letter.
The letter had nothing, Not even a return address. It did however, Contain a piece of paper with an address. The address was in Manehattan and a piece of text which made Twilight decide to leave. The text was as follows...
To whom this may concern. I have a job for you. I realize you are in need of bits and I may be able to help you with that. If your are interested please visit the address on the other piece of paper and be there 1 day from now. This is your best bet at funds and possibly your only chance. I suggest you take up on this opportunity. Good luck.
Twilight knew she would be gone for awhile, So she went to tell her friends. She first went to Fluttershy. When Twilight arrived, She seen Fluttershy leaving her cottage.
"Hey Fluttershy." Twilight greeted
"Hey Twilight, I need to...Um.. Talk to you." Fluttershy responded
"Me too, I'm going somewhere and I'll be gone for some time." Twilight informed
"Wait...This place wouldn't happen to ummm... Be Manehattan...Would it?" Fluttershy asked
"How did you know?" Twilight interrogated
"Umm...I got a letter...In the mail." Fluttershy answered.
Fluttershy held up a letter and after Twilight read it, She discovered it as the exact same letter.
"Great! Then we can go together." Twilight said.
"Wait, How are you in debt?" Twilight asked
"I umm... I guess you have to pay a tax for having wild animals in your home." Fluttershy said
As they were walking to the train station, They noticed Rarity and Rainbow Dash at the station. They were holding a small slip of paper. As Twilight approached them, She asked them a question.
"Hey everypony, What are you doing here?" Twilight asked
"We need bits." Rarity and Rainbow Dash responded, At the same time.
"You too?" Twilight asked.
"Yea, Its bullshit because I got robbed and didn't have insurance so I have to take up a job to pay off my stuff." Rainbow dash responded
"I need some money for a new fabric that hit the shelf!" Rarity informed, Sounding excited.
"Oh. I have to pay off a bill for the library." Twilight said
After a minute of waiting for the train, Rainbow Dash noticed Fluttershy.
"Why are you here, Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked
"Animal taxes." Fluttershy let out.
Another solid minute of waiting, Applejack and Pinkie Pie arrived.
"Ya'll here because you need bits?" Applejack asked
"Yep." Rainbow Dash responded
"Oh! I'm here to get money for a new bakery! Bakery!" Pinkie pie yelled, Jumping up and down.
"Yeah, She is a little bit excited." Applejack added
"I'm here to pay off family debts." Applejack said.
After 3 minutes, The train to Manehattan arrived. The 6 bought their tickets and boarded the train, Sitting next to each other. When the train started to head out, They began talking.
"I wonder what the job is gonna be?" Twilight said
"Hopefully it ain't some kinky sex thing." Applejack replied
"I don't know, Knowing some people. They WILL pay for sex." Rainbow dash added
"How did this conversation evolve to this?" Twilight asked
"If it pays well, I'm in." Rarity announce, Ignoring Twilight's question
Everypony looked at Rarity with a look of confusion
"WOO! I can't wait to find out what it is! I'm so excited!" Pinkie yelled, Nearly jumping out of her seat.
After more conversation, The train arrived at Manehattan.
"Well, We don't have to be there until tomorrow. So we should rent a room." Rarity announced
"Shes gotta point. Ya'll wanna head out?" Applejack asked
"Yeah. I think we should get a room." Twilight said
They wondered Manehattan for about 30 minutes until they arrived at a hotel. Upon entering, Rarity took a bag out of her saddle bag and approached the main desk.
"How much for a room?" Rarity asked
"50 bits a night." The receptionist responded
Rarity took 50 bits out of her bag and handed it to the receptionist. The receptionist then handed them a room key, Room 29. The Mane Six went to the room and using the key, Unlocked the door and entered. They got to the room around evening, So they began to un-wind a little bit. They fell asleep about mid-night and woke up in the morning. The gang made their way to the address given to them by their letters. When they got there, They noticed it was a warehouse. They took a deep breath and entered.
Upon entering, They noticed a table with someone sitting in one of seven chairs next to the table. This man, Was Flim. The gang took a seat at the table and Flim spoke up.
"I am Flim as you all know and I represent RED. Reliable excavation demolition." Flim said
"Reliable what now?" Applejack asked
"Look, The name isn't important but the job is." Flim replied.
"What job?" Twilight asked
"I need you to forcefully take land, And defend it from my brother." Flim responded
"That is...It?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Of course. However, He'll try ANYTHING to take the land. However, If you take the job. I have the tools to aid you." Flim added
The Mane Six looked at each other and gave a nod.
"When do we start?" Twilight asked
"Tomorrow." Flim replied
"Get some rest, We head out tomorrow.
The ponies (excluding Flim) left the warehouse only to be greeted by Flam.
"Listen, I need to talk to you." Flam said
"No need. We already talked to Flim. We accepted his offer." Twilight said
"You don't know what your talking about, misses! You either work for me or you'll regret it!" Flam yelled
"No!" Rainbow Dash said, Yelling back at Flam
"Fine. Just remember, I have my ways." Flam responded while walking away.
The girls went to bed at the hotel and went back to the warehouse the next day. They were shocked to see a carriage at the warehouse. But instead of carrier ponies, There was a big machine on the back of the carriage.
"Witness one of the first, girls. A steam-powered carriage." Flim said walking towards the girls.
"Steam powered?" Twilight asked
"It uses an intense amount of pressure from steam to push it into the air." Flim responded.
"Get in. We're going far beyond Equestria and you gals got a job to do." Flim added.
The carriage took to the skies; And in about 4 hours, the carriage arrived at a medium-sized concrete building with a big sign depicting an ignited bomb labeled RED and at the bottom, Smaller font said "Reliable Excavation Demolition"

The steam-powered machine landed in front of the garage of the building. The girls and Flim got out of the carriage. The building was bustling with employees, Rushing from room to room to do their designated job. Multiple rooms had labels, One which caught the eye of Twilight was 'Bread Research' which prompted a simple question...
"What is bread research?" Twilight asked
"Yea, I personally don't know either. I guess there is strange effects when you teleport bread." Flim replied
The Mane Six followed Flim into a room labeled 'Crate room' and upon entry, The girls noticed piles of crates each labeled 'Ponny Co.' and a munition number. A lot of the crates had a munition number between 85-92. Along with the crates, Numerous ballistic weapons were found among the piles.
"Whats with the crates?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Along with bits, You'll receive crates and other misc. items. We call them company benefits." Flim responded
"Sweet Celestia, What is this?" Rarity said, Pointing at a scattergun
"That is a scattergun, One of the numerous weapons from Ponny Co. Or if you prefer, A deadly firearm." Flim answered
"Alright. Enough chit-chat and questions. I am now going to unbox a crate. Of course, I'm taking whatever comes out of the crate but this is just a demonstration." Flim said, Pulling out a key
Flim went to one of the many piles of crates and pulled a crate out of the pile. He then pushed the crate to the center of the room and shoved the key into the lock. As he twisted the key; The lock fell off, The key snapped in half and the chains unraveled. He then pushed the lid off the box and pulled out a bloody pickaxe.
"Now, See how I got the Equalizer? Each weapon has weird affects about them." Flim announced to the Mane Six
"Now that I think about it, I got crate fever. Twilight, Get over here please." Flim said to Twilight
Twilight walked to Flim. Flim told Twilight to stay there while Flim pulled another crate out of the pile and pushed it towards Twilight. Flim then handed Twilight a key to the crate.
"Alright darling, Put the key in the lock and twist. Then see what is inside the crate." Flim said, Eagerly waiting to see the loot.
Twilight did as Flim did. Put the key in the lock, Twist, wait a second and get the loot. She opened the crate to find a orange and red nightcap with a wobbly white pompom.
"Napper's Respite." Flim announced
"Give that to Fluttershy, She'll want it more than you." Flim whispered to Twilight.
Twilight handed the Napper's Respite to Fluttershy, Then joined the crowed again.
"Alright; If there was a time to pay attention, This would be it. I'm gonna talk about the main reason you guys are here. Bits." Film announced.
"Twilight, Your library debt is paid off. Fluttershy, Your tax is paid off. You guys are in MY debt until I say when." Flim said, Pointing to the two.
"Rainbow Dash, We sent a team to calculate the worth of your stolen items." Flim announced to the pegasus
"Pinkie Pie, We bought you a suitable location for your bakery. Your still in debt." Flim said to the pink, Pinkie Pie.
"Rarity; We got you so much of the fabric, You'll cry when you see it. Your in debt too." Flim said to Rarity
"And Applejack, Consider your family debt replaced with your debt to me." Film said to Applejack.
"You guys should be ha..."
"I'm SUPER-DUPER-DUPER happy!" Pinkie yelled, Interrupting Flim
"Yea. Next up is roles. You gals are gonna have a role to play here at RED." Flim announced
"Follow me to your cabins." Flim said to the ponies
The ponies followed Flim through almost the entire RED base, Seeing a variety of things. They seen weapon testing, Import/Export, Crafting station and even training rooms. It took them about 10 minutes of walking before the arrived at 'Mercenary cabins' with a note on the door.
Whoever reads this note, Please remember. This room is for the mercs ONLY! Unless your a merc, KEEP OUT!
"Alright. The password is 'Rose bloom' for whenever you guys want to get in. You guys should get prepared in there. We had a team bring some belongings from your houses so you wouldn't get to bored here." Flim announced to the Elements of Harmony.
"Also, I'll be talking to you guys 1-on-1 to discuss your role. Later." Flim added, before walking away.
The ponies used the password and entered the cabins. Inside, were 5 bags. Each bag had a tag which had a name of one of the ponies on it. Twilight's bag had books, paper and a quill, Fluttershy's bag had paper and a quill, Rarity's bag had her knitting machine along with fabric and make-up. Applejack's bag had paper and a quill plus some cider, Pinkie Pie's bag had balloons and confetti and Rainbow Dash's bag had some Daring Do books. The ponies chatted with each other until Flim started taking some of the ponies. He first took Applejack.
"Alright Applejack. You are gonna be the..." Flim was flipping through his papers
"You are going to be the soldier." Flim announced to Applejack
"Soldier?" Applejack asked
"Your loyal and tough plus I'd imagine pretty strong. You get to work with rocket launchers and the like." Flim replied.
After Flim chatted with Applejack, He told her to go back with her friends and brought out Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy...You are going to be the pyro." Flim said to the cowering pegasus, Fluttershy
"Py-pyro?" Fluttershy asked, Worry in her voice
"Yea, I just have a hunch you'll be good as a pyro." Flim answered.
After having a chat with Fluttershy, Flim sent her back and brought out Rainbow Dash
"Rainbow Dash...RD...You are the...Scout." Flim told Rainbow Dash
"What in Celestia is a scout?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Your main goal is to be fast. Be fast and out-maneuver your opposition." Flim replied
Rainbow Dash didn't want to chat, So Flim sent her back and brought Twilight
"Alright Twilight. Your the medic." Flim announced
"Oh. Why me, Though?" Twilight asked
"Your possibly the only pony who can do the 'heal' and 'ubercharge' spell" Flim responded
After a quick chat with Twilight, Flim sends her back and brings out Pinkie Pie
"Alright Pinkie Pie, You are the Demo...mare."
"Alrighty then! Wait, Whats a demomare?" Pinkie asked, Scratching her mane.
"Blow stuff up!" Flim said
After a brief discussion on what was allowed to be blown up with Pinkie Pie, Flim sent her back and brought Rarity out.
"Rarity. You are the sniper."
"Oh, But why am I the sniper?"
"Because I don't imagine you can build a sentry, Handle a minigun or be stealthy." Flim said
"Plus, You won't have to get dirty." Flim added.
After sending her back, Flim went to the cabins to talk with the ponies.
"Alright guys, Sleep well. Its going to be a long day tomorrow." Flim announced

Team RED has a dusty feeling
Birds chirping, Ponies talking and the suspicious smell of toast. All things a morning at RED base has to offer. Twilight got up, Rubbing her eyes to find Applejack downing bottles of cider. Twilight was going to say something; But if it isn't hurting anyone, Why bother? Twilight got out of bed to stretch her legs and she noticed 3 empty beds. Empty like nopony touched them. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were still sleeping and Rarity was applying make-up (No one knew, Either) when Flim entered the room.
"Rise and shine, Mr Freeman. Rise and shine." Flim said to the sleepy eyed ponies
"Who is Freeman?" Twilight asked
"REFERENCES!" Pinkie exclaimed, Waking up out of nowhere
"Now we gotta big day ahead of us so we should get busy." Flim announced
Rarity finished applying her make-up and woke up Fluttershy. The ponies followed Flim to a room called 'Preparation room' where numerous lockers were found.
"Welcome everypony to the preparation room." Flim said to the ponies
"Now, We believe BLU team is trying to takeover one of our rockets at Dustbowl. This is where you ponies come in. Stop there plans at all costs." Flim announced
The mane six looked at each other with confusion.
"Who are we...Exactly fighting?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Uh...I don't know how to explain this...You are fighting yourselves." Flim said to the confused ponies
"They have some sort of cloning project going on. I guess they copy pasted you guys into a machine." Film added
Pinkie Pie stares at the ceiling
"To me, That sounds like some bullshit the author added so he didn't have to do major thinking. I personally believe this is the reason the story has 1 like and 2 dislikes. The author can't write properly, nor make stories that involve actual thinking." Pinkie said aloud
"Pinkie Pie. Who are you talking to?" Flim asked, Looking at Pinkie.
"The readers I feel sorry for because they are reading this piece of trash." Pinkie replied to Flim.
"Right. Now, Remember how I assigned you ponies a role last night. One locker has your role. Find it and open it." Flim announced
The ponies found their lockers and upon opening them, They found different weapons and a big-ish chestplate.
"Sweet Celestia!" Rarity exclaimed
"I can't wear this hideous...atrocity" Rarity added
"Oh well that is a darn shame because it looks like you have to." Flim replied to Rarity.
"Ponies, Put on the chestplate in your locker." Flim ordered
The ponies managed to get the bulky chestplate on with little stress.
"These chestplates will hold and help operate your weaponry." Flim announced
"For example, Applejack. There should be a rocket launcher, Shotgun and shovel." Flim said to Applejack
"Well um, There is a big thing and a smaller thing and yes, A shovel." Applejack responds
Flim points to the rocket launcher and says rocket launcher. Then he points to the shotgun and says shotgun
"Oh." Applejack mumbles out as Flim shows her what is what
"Now, Applejack. Attach the rocket launcher to the designated point on the chestplate." Film orders
"And do the same with the shotgun and shovel."
Applejack uses her mouth to adjust the weapons to their designated spots.
"Now pay attention, Ponies." Film announces
"In this case, Applejack has a button on her chestplate labeled 'Rocket fire'. Please hit this button, Applejack." Flim says
When Applejack hits the button, A rocket fires out of the launcher and flies into the wall. The rocket then explodes.
"Now, In case you need to get personal with your counter-parts. You have a melee attack." Flim announced
"Please flip your 'melee' switch, Applejack." Flim says
As Applejack hits the 'melee' button, A small robotic arm pops out of the chestplate and grabs the shovel off the chestplate. The arms then starts slashing and swinging the shovel around Applejack's face.
"Now ponies, Add your weapons to your chestplate and practice a bit." Flim orders
"Oh, Flim!" Twilight yells
"Yes, Twilight?" Flim asks
"What is...Ubercharge?" Twilight asks
"Ah yes. Thanks for reminding me."
Flim hands Twilight a small piece of paper, With the spells 'Heal' and 'Ubercharge' labeled.
"Thank you." Twilight says to Flim
Twilight begins practicing her heal spell on Fluttershy who is testing her flamethrower. In fact, Everpony was testing something. Rainbow Dash was testing her scattergun, along with uses of her pistol and bat. Rarity mostly used her sniper and smg and rarely used the kukri. Applejack tested her rocket launcher, shotgun and shovel evenly. Pinkie Pie attempted (and succeeded) to blow up lockers with her grenade launcher and sticky bomb launcher until she was stopped by Flim.
"Alright everypony, We have a job to do." Flim announced
"Cease your weapons." Flim added
The ponies stopped firing and looked at Flim.
"You may of noticed you had to briefly stop firing your weapon for a second. The chestplate is reloading the weapon for you." Flim said
"Alright, Now follow me to the garage. You guys are going to Dustbowl." Flim announced to the ponies.
The mane six followed Flim to a building labeled 'Garage' and inside were 3 steam-powered carriages. Flim prompted the ponies to get in the carriage. When the ponies were in the carriage, Flim got in.
"Alright, To Dustbowl. Trust me. You gals are gonna have a blast." Flim said
The carriage took of the ground and into the skies. It began moving towards the middle of nowhere at a constant speed of about 10 miles per hour. This time, There was nothing to really observe except desert and cacti. After about 3 hours, The carriage arrived at a huge facility.
"Alright. Dustbowl is separated into 3 zones. This is zone one." Flim announced
"You guys noticed those giant plate-like things on the ground. Those are control points. Defend them at all costs." Flim adds
"Also, if you guys happen to die in the battlefield. There is a little machine in here that will rebuild you." Flim says to the ponies
"Rebuild us?" Twilight asks
"Yep. From your feet to your head. Rebuilt." Flim replies
"And it may sound weird. But the machine can also put back the memories in your neurons." Flim added, smiling at the glorious machine.
"Alright. Now the battle is going to begin soon. I wish you all luck." Flim said before walking into a room labeled 'private'.
"Alright ya'll. You heard em. We got some work to do." Applejack announced.
"Lets move!" Rainbow dash yelled, Charging towards BLU spawn.
The rest of the ponies followed Rainbow Dash.
The ponies prepared, As they knew battle would begin as those doors to their spawn would open. Twilight started healing Applejack. Rainbow Dash started stretching her wings. Fluttershy hid right next to the door of their spawn. Rarity positioned herself on the balcony of the control point and Pinkie Pie put sticky bombs on one of the door frames of the BLU spawn. It was almost battle time. The ponies waited, Then the gate opened.
The clones of the Mane Six came running of the BLU spawn. RED Rainbow Dash took flight while RED Fluttershy began burning those who came out. Lucky for RED Fluttershy, They all came out her door. Unlucky for RED Pinkie Pie, None came out her door. RED Rainbow Dash was chasing BLU Pinkie Pie until RED Rainbow Dash was shot down by BLU Rarity.
"Medic!" Rainbow Dash yelled
"Medic!" Rainbow Dash yelled
RED Twilight went to RED Rainbow Dash and started healing her.
"I heard you the first time, No need to spam me!" RED Twilight screamed, Using her heal spell on RED Rainbow Dash
RED Rarity head shot numerous BLU enemies, Such as a running BLU Rainbow Dash and an idle BLU Pinkie Pie. All was well until a BLU Applejack fired a rocket at her, Exploding RED Rarity into tiny pieces.
"Take that ye' fashion obsessed filly!" BLU Applejack screamed
The battle went on. The battle was almost over when RED Twilight noticed a BLU Rainbow Dash charging the control point. Twilight prepared her bonesaw and charged into the control point. As soon as RED Twilight got in, She noticed BLU Rainbow Dash waving at her as the control point turned blue and she heard 'The enemy has received additional time...'. BLU Rainbow Dash attempted to leave the room but was stopped by a RED Fluttershy who started to burn the BLU Rainbow Dash, Killing her. The RED team started to move to the second control point. The battle continued, RED killed BLU. BLU killed RED. Sometimes BLU killed BLU on accident. Eventually, The battle ran out of time and BLU surrenders, At least attempted to.
The BLU ponies attempted to cower and hide from there defeat because surrender wasn't good enough. The RED ponies wanted to finish the slaughter, Especially Fluttershy. She burned every BLU to a crisp and didn't even say a word. No remorse.
The RED ponies returned to spawn and found Flim reading a Ponny Co catalog. He seemed particularly interested in crates, As he ordered 7 crates. Flim noticed the RED team walk through the door and smiled.
"You guys did good for a first time merc." Flim said the ponies.
"And Fluttershy, You did amazing!" Flim announced.
"Whats your secret?" Flim asked the pyromaniac pony, Fluttershy
"I don't have one. I just think, My innocent animals or these terrible clone ponies." Fluttershy answers.
"Alright. Each one of you are getting a crate back home. Fluttershy gets two." Flim announces
"We should have a vehicle coming soon." Flim adds.
The ponies waited and eventually a vehicle arrived and took everypony back to the RED base. As soon as they got there Flim led them to the crate room. Each pony got a key and a crate, Except for Fluttershy who got two keys and two crates.
Twilight unboxed her crate and pulled out a name tag.
"Wow. You got a name tag!" Flim said, Laughing hysterically.
Applejack unboxed her crate and pulled out a fake beard with a smoking pipe attached
"Bearded Bombardier." Flim announced
Pinkie Pie slipped out of nowhere and took the cosmetic from Applejack. She then unboxed her crate and pulled out a green paint can.
"Oh! Maybe I can paint my fake beard!" Pinkie Pie yelled, Jumping up and down.
Rarity unboxed her crate and pulled out a bloody sword
"Claidheamh Mòr. Give that to pinkie." Flim said
Rainbow Dash unboxed her crate and pulled out a light pink paint can.
"Color Number 216-190-216. Not bad." Flim said
Fluttershy unboxed her two crates and pulled out a odd dagger and a meat cleaver.
"Your eternal reward and a strange flying guillotine. Give me the dagger and give the cleaver to Rainbow Dash." Flim said to Fluttershy
"Oh yea, One more thing guys." Flim announces
"You guys have a new engineer coming in!" Flim adds
