Chapters Chapter 1: Just Another Normal Day
My name is Xavier Wilson. I was born on November 2nd, 1999. I'm an early high-school graduate due to my awesome grades, though I often got picked on for being that smart.
I did track during all 4 high-school years in order to stay fit & strong once my parents (who hated me, since they didn't want another child after having my older sister Bianca, 3rd oldest sibling) kicked me out of the house when I was 15 years old. Now I'm 17 years old, with a job that I very much enjoy, being an artist that sells his/her artworks to make money, for it's what I'm quite talented at.
I live in New York City, inside an old, run-down house with decent internet & low rent. I have no friends, beings how nobody likes me & often make fun of me just for fun. Not even my own siblings & all other family relatives don't care about me for who I am. I have been alone ever since I turned 10, which was when I began to look out for myself. I often scavenge for food just to save a little extra cash for college.
Whenever I have free-time, I either draw for myself, go for a jog, play video games, or watch movies & tv shows off of Amazon Prime. I often find myself wishing that I could fly, one of my lifelong dreams ever since I was little, with nothing but bird wings that are as white as snow on my back.
Because whenever I imagine myself flying, I always feel free & unrestrained, without a single worry in the world to slow me down. The feeling of being able to travel to a better world, where everybody is caring for one another, & not a single person is corrupt.
But the thing about a dream is, you always wake up from it. Whether you like it, or not.
Today was October 30th, Monday, 2017. Just one day before Halloween. Though I may be too old for trick-or-treating, but I can still wear a costume as I pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. This year, my costume is something that I had made out of junk from a dumpster that I had pieced together.
Beings of how I'm an artist, I'm very good with my hands. My costume was: a MK Sub-Zero cryo-mask made from mounting board; drawn-on ice-like arm tattoos that I did with a fake tattoo kit from the trash (not sure why someone would want to throw it away); dark blue jeans with a belt; black Nike sneakers with a gray trim; dragon claw gauntlets made from plaster; a gray sleeveless hoodie with an adjustable hood; & 2 machetes strapped to my belt (don't even want to know the reason why someone threw those out).
I was on my way home from the store with the candy that I was gonna hand out when a mysterious dark-hooded figure stopped me in an alleyway.
"Do you need something from me?" I asked calmly.
"I need nothing, but your answer to this question, for I may have something that can help you fulfill your dream of escaping this corrupt world" the figure replied in a hoarse, gloomy voice that belongs to a man.
Confused & curious about what he meant by that, I asked: "What do you mean by 'escaping this corrupt world'?"
The figure replied "There's no time for me to explain, just answer this question. Do you want to leave this corrupt world & be able to make your dream of flying a reality?"
"How does he know about that? Is he a spy, can I trust him? " I thought.
"I'm no spy, & yes, you can trust me. Now answer the question!" the figure exclaimed angrily.
Now I'm freaking out with what's going on. "Is this guy a fucking telepath!? " I yelled in my head.
"I am many things! Now answer the question! WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!!" the figure replied sharply.
I suddenly snapped out of confusion & said: "Yes, I do".
No longer sounding angry, the figure says "Good" then pulls out a small vial from the sleeve of his black robes, & says "This here, has a gem that can teleport you to a different world. All you have to do is fill up a tub with cold water, place the gem in your mouth, & lay in the tub for half an hour. Be sure to wear your attire when you do" the figure finished as he disappeared back into the shadows of the alleyway.
Thinking to myself, I thought "Is this guy for real? Should I do it? Well, he somehow knew about my dream, & read my thoughts. Maybe he's legit, I'll give it a shot ".
As I got home, I found another Sorry, We missed you notes from the cable guy on my door. UUGH! This is the fifth time this month. I guess that's what I get for trying to get regular cable in order to reduce my internet bill. So I just pulled it off, walked in, set down the candy on the floor next to the door (on the floor next to the door? Hmm, nice rhyme), went over to the table to pay my bills, then went over to my laptop to access my eBay account to check for any sold artworks that I had posted photos of. 2 ceramics, 1 drawing, & 1 decorative plaster mask. Now I charge $10 for each drawing, $15 for each ceramic, & $20 for each mask, which totals up to $60 in today's sales.(I also do paintings, price varies depending on how much time & effort I put into it.)
After I made the transactions, I quickly check my email. It’s usually special offers & ads from different companies, & notices on when I need to redeem my credit/debit card.
After that, I just usually eat my supper, brush my teeth, shower, watch my shows for a half hour, then it's off to bed, dreaming of what I wish I could do to change things. But by tomorrow, with the gem & simple instructions from the figure, I just may be able to actually change things, make them better than what they are. Hopefully.
Author's Note
Just to let you know so you don't think that it has nothing to do with MLP, it won't be until chapter 2 when he first gets to Equestria. I had to think of a good, well, let's just say a type of back story of what he was like & how he got there. Okay, hope you like it. It's my first story that I've ever actually put maximum effort into, so please, don't post any mean or negative comments. And so you don't get confused on sudden changes in the chapters if you decide to reread the previous chapters, I'll be going back to the chapters to fix any errors I made & put any words or sentences I forgot when writing. I like to make sure that there's no errors in the writing.
Chapter 2: Farewell Earth
This is the day where I might leave this world. Once again, I followed through with my normal daily routine until I got home after finishing the rest. It was 7:30 when I completely finished my normal routine.
Beings how it takes a while to fill up the tub, & that I won't be able to hand out the candy myself, I started to fill the tub early (so it's ready when I start the teleportation, since the water pressure isn't exactly the greatest) & filled the candy bowl with a note that says: Please take one . Since it's Halloween, I decided to wear my costume during teleportation, figured it would look pretty bad-ass for a first impression in a new world (good thing I waterproofed the mask, gloves, & tattoos.) (Since the tattoos only come off with soap).
Once it was all done, the tub was full & ready to go. As I turned the water off, I pulled off my mask, put the gem in my mouth, & put the mask back on. Then I looked over at the bathroom clock, 7:59. Just one more minute, & then I can begin the teleportation.
As I was waiting, I began to worry in my head "What if this whole thing is just a scam, & this figure was just an expert liar & persuader. Maybe it was just to see if I'd actually do it, maybe I shouldn't do it ".
Just then, the clock turned 8:00, only one way to find out if it's for real or not.
I stepped into the tub one foot (more like soaking shoe) at a time, then slowly started to lay down, letting the refreshing sensation of the cold water take over (most people would think it's freezing, but not me, I've always been fond of cold water. Feels more natural to me than hot water).
As I lay in the tub with my costume on, I let myself relax as soon as I heard a voice in my head say 'Yes, just relax, drift into a deep sleep, & let us do the rest'.
Upon hearing the voice, I found myself obeying, relaxing more & more as I drifted into sleep in under 10 minutes.
Once again, I found myself in my normal dream. Flying high through the vast endless cloud-filled sky with beautiful white bird wings on my back. But this time, it was a little different. I found myself flying toward a very bright, very blinding light.
As I got closer, I feel a powerful energy start to envelop me from my feet up, intensifying as I drew closer to the light.
Now up to my hips, the light started to get brighter & brighter, causing me to use my arms to shield my eyes so I wouldn't go blind from the super intense light. Wanting to get this over & done with, I started to fly faster, causing both the energy & the light to slowly speed up their increasing intensity.
As I was only 50 meters away, the energy & light had completely enveloped me for only a few seconds before I woke up.
When I woke up, I expected to find myself in my tub still. Instead, I found myself falling from the sky! It was worse than I thought!!
THAT SON OF A BITCH!!! It was a trick! A trick that would ensure me a certain death!
As I looked down, I noticed a strange light surrounding me. Checking my surroundings, I noticed that it actually was for real after all! For something of the impossible was surrounding me...... A FRICKIN' ENERGY SHIELD!! Only possible in fictional movies, shows, & stories, but as it stands right now, there's one surrounding me!
As I was falling, I think I saw some sort of old 1500's type of town, populated by what seemed like anthro horses of many colors, as far as I could see. As I was nearing the ground, I had noticed from what I could tell, that I was most likely to land in the fast-approaching lake.
That's when I remembered, that hitting water from a great height at a great speed, was practically the same as hitting concrete. So the energy shield would only absorb, like, 60% of the upcoming damage.
As I hit the lake with a big 'KER-SPLASH!' , I had plummeted an approximate 25 feet under the water. At that point, I kinda started to worry. Even though I'm able to swim, but I'm not exactly a fast swimmer, & I've never been able to hold my breath for 30 seconds.
Frantically, I began to swim upwards at my fastest possible swimming speed. I was about to pass out from lack of air, when I suddenly popped up out of the water, right at the last moment.
Happy to be alive, I started swimming towards the shore. Once I got to the shore, I plopped down onto the sand, exhausted from exerting myself too much, & just laid there, letting myself rest to catch my breath.
I felt my eyes close on their own, starting to feel tired. I probably would've fallen asleep 5 minutes later if I hadn't heard a stuttery female voice that said: "Uhh, e-excuse me ss-sir, b-but wh-what e-exactly ARE y-you!!??"
Wondering who the voice belongs to, with my eyes still closed, I slowly raise my head to see who apparently had 'no idea ' of what I am.
Before opening my eyes, I asked "Ha. Good one. But I'm pretty sure you mean WHO am I?"
"*gasp!* It speaks! N-no. I-I mean what are you. B-because th-there's n-n-nothing in p-pony history th-that m-mentions a-a-anything on wh-what k-kind of c-c-creature you are!" said the female voice again.
Slightly annoyed, I replied "What the hell are you playing at!? You're acting like you've never even seen a hu......AAAAAHHHHH !" I exclaimed at the sight that I'd never even think possible from the moment I opened my eyes!
The town really IS populated by colorful anthro horses, for there was a crowd of them gathered around where I was, just staring at me with fear in their eyes, just behind the one that was standing no more than 2 feet away from me, ALL wearing costumes! (So much for trying to look bad-ass for a first impression, which I don't think will ever happen.)
Quickly getting up, I stared in fear at the crowd of anthro horses, hoping if they were friendly or not. Not exactly wanting to stick around & find out, I did absolutely the craziest thing I've ever done in my life.
On Instinct, I made a break for it by jumping back in the lake & swimming over to the other side. But I wasn't even a quarter of a way (since I'm not that fast of a swimmer) before I felt a lavender aura of energy engulf me & pulled me back to the crowd of horses.
Looking over at the crowd as I got up again, I saw that the one who had the guts to talk to me was the same one who pulled me back!
"Oh, My God!!!,” I exclaim. “Y-you're a uu-uni-c-corrrrrn." I managed to choke out before fainting from too much stress in my head.
"OH NO!" I heard the unicorn exclaim as I was slowly fading into unconsciousness. "He needs help! Quick! Somepony go get the ........."
Author's Note
On the where it says 'I felt a lavender aura of energy', you may think that's a mistake, but it's not. Even though you can't feel color, but you can see it, which is why our stowaway said that, because he could see the color of the magical aura that he felt.
Chapter 3: New Humble Beginnings
When I woke back up, I found myself on a bed. My first thoughts were "Are they already being that friendly towards me? ". But when I took a closer look, I realized that I was on a hospital bed!
"OH SHIT! ", I thought. "Have they put me into a hospital prison cell in order to experiment with me like I'm some sort of freak!? "
As I was trying to gather my senses, I heard the door open as a light gray-coated anthro pony with a light amaranthish gray mane & tail came in. With just one look at the pony, nobody could mistake it as a female, especially with that slight sparkle in her brilliant sapphire blue eyes.(not flirting, just being truthful)
She wore a nurses cap & dress, had her mane in a bun.
"Ah, I see that you're awake," she said in a calm voice. "My name is Nurse Redheart . You see, once you passed out, Twilight had somepony come & get me to help you recover from the shock you had received once you took your first look at us. What's your name?"
"My name's Xavier Wilson, you can just call me Xavier. Am I in a hospital prison?" I asked.
"WHA! OH HEAVENS NO! We don't even know what a hospital prison is. You're in a normal hospital" she replied, "But whether or not you're going to be put in a prison cell is up to the mayor."
"WHAT!!?" I exclaimed in disbelief "Wh-wh-why!?"
"The reason why is because of the machetes we found strapped to your belt when we were getting you out of your soaking wet clothes & into your very own hospital gown" she explained.
When I heard that, my eyes went wide. "Wait, do you mean that you've seen my---" I started to say when Nurse Redheart interrupted.
"OH, DEAR CELESTIA, NO! When we first removed the garment that covered your lower half, our hands were only an inch away when we realized what was under the next garment. So we left that alone & put on the hospital gown that Rarity made for you" replied Nurse Redheart in an awkward-toned voice.
With a sigh of relief, I said "Oh, thank goodness. That's a relief."
I ran my eyes up & down the hospital gown as I lifted the sheets a bit.
"Rarity, huh?" I ask curiously "I take it that's the name of the local tailor?"
"Yep," Nurse Redheart replies. "She's the one who made that for you. Anyways, you must be hungry. I better go get your breakfast."
As she headed for the door, I thought that I should set something straight about the machetes.
"Wait!" I exclaim, stopping her before she went out the door.
"By the way, you can tell the Mayor that he or she has nothing to worry about because the machetes were just a part of my Halloween costume. Wasn't even gonna use them" I explained, hoping it would reduce my chances of being put in a cell to a bare minimum.
"Oh. So, you mean to say, that you never had any intention of causing any harm?" questioned Nurse Redheart.
"Yeah," I replied. "I never planned to.”
“Besides, I've never been one to fight back in a fight, let alone be the 1st to attack. Even though I've always had the strength to, but I couldn't even if I did,” I explained.
“Why is that?” asked RedHeart.
“Because I never learned how to fight,” I start to explain, “except for the basics & some breakaway moves, which I only use to get out of the grasp of a single assailant or group of assailants, where I have a chance of losing them by running away, thanks to my excellent speed, stamina & agility," I finish explaining.
"Ah. I see. Can I ask you a question?" she asks.
"Sure. Go ahead" I reply.
"What's Halloween?" asked Nurse Redheart.
"Halloween is a traditional human holiday that takes place on every October 31st every year,” I start off. “Where everyone dresses up in costumes & play spooky games. And the kids get to go trick-or-treating, where they go door-to-door saying 'trick-or-treat', getting free candy from the older folks who dressed up in costumes as well."
"Ah, so it's just like our Nightmare Night holiday, but with your race that calls it Halloween. Which you said was, human, right?" she says inquisitively.
"Yep, that's right" I respond.
"Anyways, I better go get your breakfast" Nurse Redheart stated as she went out the door to get my breakfast.
"Alright, see ya," I quickly said as she went out the door, once again being left alone in the room as I laid back down on the bed.
As I lay down, thoughts race through my head of what I'm gonna do for a second attempt for a '1st' impression, beings how my first try on one was completely wasted when I arrived on the night of their Nightmare Night holiday, which made me nervous I thought more & more about it.
In an attempt to relax, I stopped thinking about that, & started thinking about what I could do that would improve my life in this world. I found this working as I felt my eyes close by themselves again.
About 5 minutes later, the door opened as Nurse Redheart came in with my breakfast on a bed tray as she set it over my lap. Sitting up, I looked at the breakfast tray to see a bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter toast & a glass of orange juice.
Feeling the grumbling in my stomach, I thanked Nurse Redheart for bringing me breakfast as I took a bite of the oatmeal with the spoon that I had. Upon the first taste, my eyes went wide as my tongue exploded with the amazing flavor of the oatmeal.
"Oh, dear! Is it too hot?" Nurse Redheart asks worriedly.
"No," I reply. “It's just fine, but the flavor is AMAZING ! It's the most delicious oatmeal I've ever tasted in my life!"
With a wide smile, Nurse Redheart says "Thank you. I'm glad you like it. Once you're done though, there are some ponies who'd like to see you."
Both slightly confused & surprised, I looked over at her & asked: "Is there really?"
"Yep," she replies "Six mares to be exact."
"SIX MARES !" I thought to myself as my eyes go wide again in shock.
"I hope they're not planning on doing anything 'weird', to me " I thought hopefully.
Nurse Redheart left the room once again, leaving me able to eat my breakfast in peace.
Finishing the breakfast, there was a knock on the door a minute later.
Hoping for Nurse Redheart, I nervously replied: "Uh, come in, I guess."
As the doorknob turned, time seemed to slow down as my forehead was dripping with sweat in nervous anticipation as I prayed for it to be Nurse Redheart. As the door opened, time suddenly came back to normal speed as I saw a familiar lavender-colored pony, no longer dressed up as the anthro pony-version of Gandalf, but now dressed in a school-girl type outfit.
"AAAAAHHH!!" I screamed as I jumped off the bed, backing up against a wall in fear, knocking over the breakfast tray onto the floor.
"It's you!" I choke out in short gasps of air. "You're the unicorn from last night! Dressed up as the female anthro pony-version of Gandalf!"
"My costume was actually Star-Swirl the Bearded, & there's no need to panic," said the lavender mare with a unique purple mane & tail, with 2 stripes of a lighter purple, & one stripe of pink.
"I'm here to see how you're recovering from last night. Are you doing okay?" she asks in a very calm voice.
Feeling somewhat reassured, I picked up the few dishes & tray, & put it back on the bed as I got back in the bed, with the sheets on top of me, but still underneath the tray.
Once I was back in my original position before I panicked, I replied "I am doing ....... quite fine. My name's Xavier Wilson, but you can just call me Xavier. What's your name?"
"I'm Twilight Sparkle . I'd like to apologize for freaking you out twice last night, & for freaking you out recently" she replied as she held out her hand for a handshake, when she trotted closer to the bed, her violet eyes sparkling as she approached.
"That's a pretty name. What about the rest, what are their names?" I asked as I looked at the other 5 mares.
"Thank you, & yes, of course, allow me to introduce my friends," Twilight said as she pointed to each of them while calling out their names, some of which seem to make sense.
"This is Applejack , Pinkie Pie , Rainbow Dash , Fluttershy , & Rarity ."
When I looked them over, I noticed that Applejack & Pinkie were normal ponies, Rainbow & Fluttershy were pegasi, & that Rarity was also a unicorn.
When I heard the name Rarity when she was pointed at, I noted out in my head "So she's Rarity. Huh, did not know that the local tailor who made my hospital gown was also one of Twilights friends. I'll have to remember to thank her later for making the hospital gown, without it sounding weird ".
"Hi," I say to Twilights friends. "Nice to meet you. Nice names, they each seem to fit your appearance."
"Thank you," they all say in unison. "Nice to meet you too."
Then Applejack says "We jus' heard about what ya said about the Mayor not having ta worry about whether er not yer friendly."
Surprised, I reply, "Wait, do you mean that either Nurse Redheart or the Mayor have already spread the word that I'm of the friendly type?"
This time Pinkie Pie answers, "Yep! ItspreadfastlikehowfastI'mtalkingrightnowwhichisreally----"
"WHOA! Slow down Pinkie! Don't hurt yourself," Rainbow interjected. "Yeah, like Pinkie said. It spread pretty fast, as fast as she can talk when she gets too excited."
"Yeah, I think I noticed," I reply with a slight comedic accent, making them all giggle at the remark.
"So what has the Mayor decided on where to put me once I'm out of the hospital?" I ask.
Almost as if they’re all taking turns in speaking, Fluttershy answered the question.
"The mayor had decided to leave that up to Princess Celestia." (Take a wild guess when it's gonna be made.)
Once I heard that I began to really worry.
"The Princess will decide what to do with me? Hope she'll be in a good mood when she decides what to do," I slightly monologued.
"Why do you hope for that, dear?" answered Rarity with a British-type accent in her voice.
Not really wanting to explain much, I just simply say, "Because I just do."
Finally, Twilight speaks again.
"Don't worry Xavier, she's a very nice princess, she's even offered for you to come to Canterlot to meet her in person, & also receive a better greeting from her sister Luna since you kind of already met her last night, but not fully."
Surprised by this, all I had to say was this.
"Princess, huh? Wonder if that means she's just a tad bit taller than every other pony here in....ah, forgot to ask, what is the name of the world that I'm in right now?" I blushed a deep red when the 6 mares giggled at the question as Twilight answers the question with glee.
"You're in the world of Equestria, and yes, she is just a tad bit taller than the rest of the ponies in Equestria, but her younger sister Luna is roughly the same height as all the other ponies."
Still feeling embarrassed from my last question, I ask a better question to suppress the giggles.
"Also, you said that I somehow met Luna before from last night. So I was wondering if you could give a description of her, to see if I remember seeing her somewhere in that crowd of ponies."
No longer giggling from the previous question, Twilight tells me that she was the only one with a dark, flowing mane & tail.
Remembering last nights incident, I reply, "Oh, yeah, I did see a flowing mane, but I didn't think much of it. Thought it was part of a costume."
"I think we might be getting a bit side-tracked here," Rarity points out.
"Oh, yeah, of course, thank you Rarity,” Twilight replies. “Now the other reason we're here is to return your clothes that Rarity washed for you, which is in this bag."
She levitated a medium bag that looks like the type of bag you'd get from a clothing store onto my lap as I thanked Rarity.
"And the 2nd main reason is to bring you out of here once you're ready. Oh, and just to let you know, we all paid your hospital bill for you, so you don't have to worry about it," She finished as they stared at me, most likely expecting me to put on my clothes with them in the room.
"Uh, could you give me some privacy so I can get dressed?" I asked, slightly blushing.
"Oh, my!” Rarity exclaims. “He's right. Nopony likes to be watched while changing, we better leave the room girls. So he can get ready," she finishes as they leave the room.
Once I was alone the room, again , I got out of the bed, took off the hospital gown, & put on my clothes that I wore for my costume from the previous night(even the gloves & mask were all fixed up, I'll have to tell Rarity that I didn't really need them no more, though I could still see if the town had a blacksmith or welder, that way I can ask him or her if they could make metal versions of the originals).
I then leave the room to check out of the hospital as I met back up with Twilight & the gang to get on our way over to Canterlot to meet the Princesses.

When I listed the names of the other 5 of the Mane 6, I used the links so it would provide a visual description so I wouldn't have to type it out.
P.S. Plus, we all already know what they all look like, so yeah, I just didn't want to go through the hassle of describing them. And of course, keep a reminder that the anthro picture of twilight may have wings, but at the current time in the story, she’s not an alicorn yet. She still has 2 season finales to go before she becomes an alicorn.
Chapter 4: Welcome to Equestria
As we were on our way to the train station with the train tickets that Twilight had for all of us, Pinkie couldn't stop blabbering about the welcome party that she was gonna throw for me when we get back to Ponyville.
"I'mgonnathrowyouthebestpartythatI'veeverthrownforanypony, er, uh .... what'sthenameofyourspecies!?" asked an overly-excited Pinkie Pie.
Hoping it would keep her quiet for a while, I answered her question in a way that only a school geek would.
"There are actually 3 different names for the name of my species, 2 legal names, & 1 scientific name," I start out.
"REALLY!? Hold on for a bit," replied an interested Twilight as she pulled out an ink quill & notepad as if to take notes. "OK, ready."
Before saying anything, I looked at the others, each with a face that reads there she goes again as they were interested in hearing what they are. I have a feeling that it might not work on getting Pinkie to stay quiet. With a sigh, I started with the scientific name, since that seemed to excite Twilight.
"The scientific name for my species is homo sapiens,” I explain. “The 2 legal names are the human being, or just human for short, & Terran."
"Hmm, interesting, I'll have some questions to ask you when we return to Ponyville," replies Twilight.
Curious, I asked, "How many exactly?"
I instantly regretted saying that when she had answered.
"Oh, just enough for me to learn everything, and I mean EVERYTHING . So, yeah, it'll be a lot," she told me with the creepiest excited face I have ever seen in my life.
Hoping it might work in finding an easier way to do that to save me the effort, I asked: "Is there, like, an easier way for that, like some sort of memory scan perhaps?"
That had left Twilight thinking for a bit, pondering my question. Then she finally replied: "Well, there's not exactly an actual spell that can scan through memories, but I could try to focus a normal magic scan on your memories, that could probably work."
She then lit up her horn, glowing with purple magic, and tried focusing it on my brain.
A few seconds later, she said, "It's working! I'm seeing your memories!! WOW!!! There's so much stuff I've never even heard o----Huh? AAAAHHH!!!! " she yelped as she instantly shot back 15 feet away from me, looking at me with another fearful look, but this time it was more intense from the one last night.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked, feeling concerned.
"H..how can y..you turn out so nice and k..kind when growing up in a world f..full of c..corruption, despair & v..violence?" Twilight asks.
"I don't know," I reply honestly. "I guess I was just able to. Anyways, we better keep moving. We shouldn't keep the Princesses waiting."
"Oh, yeah. We better get back on track, oh, and Pinkie, you better make preparations for his next party for tomorrow. He'll be turning 18 years of age," said Twilight, as she walked back over to the group and continued walking to the train station.
"REALLY! THAT'SLIKE2PARTIESINAROWINJUST2DAYS!! YOU'REONELUCKYTERRANXAVIER, CAUSETHAT'SLIKETHEFIRSTTIMEI'VEHADTOTHR0W2PARTIESINA----" Pinkie Pie blabbered so fast that no pony could understand her before Applejack interrupted her.
"WHOA there, Pinkie Pie! Turn it down a notch before ya hurt yerself."
Right at that moment, Pinkie's tail started twitching.
"Uh oh," she said with a worried expression. "Everypony take cover!"
Then they all ran for cover as I was the only one left confused.
"Take cover from wha---" I started to say before I got cut-off.
"WATCH OUT!!!" I heard somepony yell as I suddenly get hit by a speeding Pegasus so freaking hard, it knocked me back 20 feet before I stopped rolling.
"DERPY!" Twilight yelled. "What were you told about coming for a landing at an angle when going real fast!?"
"To not to," Derpy replied.
Twilight then walked over to me.
"Hey, Xavier. Are you alright"? She asked.
I then replied with the weirdest response I could have ever said in my entire life.
"But granny, I don't wanna wear the pink dress to preschool today! I want to stay home make toe-jam from cat scat during the 4th wall break inside a 4th wall break with you!!!"
"What the hay!?" Twilight said with a confused/weirded-out expression. "Could somepony get me a bucket of ice-water?”
"I'll get it," replied Fluttershy as she went to go get it & came back with it in her hands & poured it over my head. Right away in contact with the water, I immediately snapped back to reality.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed. "What happened?!"
"You got hit by Derpy when she came flying in too low," Rainbow Dash answered, followed almost right away with Derpy's apology.
"So sorry for running into you, mister, uh ....."
"Xavier," I tell her my name.
"Ah, Xavier. I am very sorry for knocking you over with my flying," Derpy apologizes.
"It's alright, it ain't your fault. I should've taken cover when Pinkie said too," I tell her.
"No, it is,” She replies. “I'm cross-eyed, so my vision kinda fails me at times, messing up my flight pattern."
"It's both our faults then, mine for not taking cover when told, & yours due to your cross-eyed vision," I say, trying to cheer her up a bit.
Getting me, Twi, Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, AJ, & Fluttershy moving again, I say: "We better keep moving Twinkie, we've already wasted enough time."
"Yeah, we better keep mo.... wait, what did you just call me?" Twilight asks with a weirded out expression.
"Twinkie......ah.....Twilight! I meant Twilight, sorry, I don't where I got that. I didn't mean to say twinkie, sorry Twi," I answered with an apology.
Accepting the apology, she & the rest of us started moving at a quicker pace to get to the train station.
On the train ride to Canterlot, we all sat in groups of 2 as we were all talking (except for me, since I've never been used to being in a conversation) about where I'm gonna be staying in Ponyville if Celestia decides to let me stay in Ponyville while staring out the window, watching the scenery.
At some point, I suddenly felt myself being shaken by one of the mares.
"XAVIER! Are ya gonna answer?!" yelled Applejack.
"Uh, yeah. I'd answer if you'd said my name nicely!" I yell back, slightly annoyed that she shook me like a maraca.
"I did," she replied, "five times, but ya didn't answer. Ah thought ya were supposed ta be nice."
Realizing why she shook me like that, I calmed down, then explained that the reason why I didn't respond the first 5 times, was because I spaced out while watching the scenery.
"Oh, okay. Next time ah'll just tap yer shoulder when ya don't respond right away," Applejack replied.
"Anyways, was there something you wanted to ask me Applejack?" I asked.
Applejack's eyes suddenly went wide, realizing that she forgot what she was gonna ask me
"Oh, ah almost forgot!” she exclaims. “Well, we were wondering if it'd be alright with ya if ya stayed with one o’ us fer the time bein’ ‘til ya get yer own place?"
Thinking about carefully, I realized that it would be for the best since they were the only ones who were quick to be friendly to me. Even though I'm not of this world, they were quick to be friends right away.
"Yeah, I'm cool with it," I reply with a slight smile. "It's probably the smartest choice to stay with a friend until I'm able to get a house of my own".
Applejack smiles gladly.
"Ah, good. Now we origi..... wait, did ya just say friend?" she asks.
"Yeah, you girls were the first to quickly act so kind & friendly when any other pony here probably wouldn't. What else would I call you girls for being so kind towards me upon arrival?" I tell them as they blushed a light red.
"Gee, ah guess we kinda are already friends with ya!" Applejack replies.
Applejack & the others slightly smile as they look towards the floor as Applejack goes back to the topic from before to get it settled: who would I be staying with during my time in Equestria?
"So anyway, back ta which one o’ us you'll stay with during yer time here ‘til no longer needed," AJ starts off.
"We originally agreed it would be Twilight since she loves ta learn new things, even new creatures,” she explains. “But since that was completely handled on the way to the train, she already knows everything about your world from what you have in yer head. In fact, she even showed ta us jus’ 5 minutes ago. We’re now thinking maybe Fluttershy, since, like ya both have in common, she has a fondness for animals & taking care of 'em."
Acting cool about it, I replied with a simple: "Yeah, sure. I'm cool with that."
They all smile widely as they heard my response to the question, feeling somewhat a little awkward about the current situation I'm in.
I couldn't help but smile too, as we headed for Canterlot, to await the judgment of Princess Celestia & Princess Luna (the one that I kinda made a fool out of myself in front of the other night.
Droplets of sweat fell down my forehead as I strode down the hallway with Twilight, Rainbow, Pinkie, AJ, Rarity, & Fluttershy (who, in my personal opinion, was really cute & pretty, especially with her shyness). Thinking what the princesses will be like.
"What kind of mood will they be in? Are they gonna be a little soft on what to do with me? God damn, I'm so nervous. There are so many thoughts going through my head right now! " I was thinking to myself when I felt a finger tap my shoulder.
"Hmm?" I respond as I turned my head to see Fluttershy leaning toward my ear as if to tell me a secret.
"The princesses are waiting for you to speak," she quietly says.
I look forward and see the two princesses, one white with a multi-colored flowing mane, & one dark blue with a dark-colored flowing mane.
Before I could say anything, the white one (which I'm pretty sure is Celestia ) asks, "Are you going to introduce yourself?"
Quickly responding without thinking, I reply, "Greetings your majesty," I do a quick one-knee bow. "My name's Xavier John Wilson, but you can just call me Xavier, or whatever you want to call me, X-man, X-miester, X-dawg, X, whatever. You must be Celestia."
Smiling at my little pun, she nods her head then says with an angelic voice.
"Yes, I am Princess Celestia. And this my little sister Luna,” says Celestia. “I have heard that you are new here & have arrived from falling out the sky. And from the knowledge of your world that my most trusted student Twilight had shown Luna & me. You come from a world full of corruption, deception, violence, & hate. But yet, you have managed to shape a kind, honest, loyal, & generous personality.”
“So in all recent events,” Celestia states, “it has been decided that you are welcome to live here in Equestria, in light of the events from what you remember of how you got here."
I smile in gratitude &, frankly, relief.
"Wow! " I exclaim in my head. "That wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, I can't believe that I was nervous for nothing ."
"But there is one thing that has yet to be fixed," said Celestia.
I froze, worried that maybe I spoke too soon.
Waiting for Celestia to state the one thing left to do, she states: "Last night, I heard that you & my sister sort of awkwardly met improperly. I believe you should probably try again at a proper greeting, now that you're no longer freaking out," She giggles at her last-minute comment.
Holding my breath, I step up to Luna , & give it my best try.
Starting with another bow, I say: "Greetings your highness, name's Xavier, honor to meet you & your sister. I'd like to apologize for last nights occurrence, for I did not mean to make a fool of myself in front of your royal presence. I merely acted out of instinct, something I do often when I find myself in such situations."
Smiling with my well-mannered greeting, Luna replies: "Greetings to thee too, Xavier, but thy honor is mine & Celestia's since we've nev’r hath met a creature like thee ere. I accept thy apology, though thither shan't beest any needeth of an apology, thee hadst every right to has't acted thy way thee didst last night. For thee too, cameth face-to-face with a creature that no one from thy world hath ever seen. Which I'll admit, I too probably would've freaked out if 't be true that ever hath happened to me. But no pun for thy greeting?" Luna asked with a smirk. Me, Twi & the others, & Celestia giggled.
Thinking of a pun, I say "In that case, beings your names Luna, does it mean that you represent the moon, or does it that you are one with the moon itself?"
Every pony in the room, including the princesses, burst laughing at that pun.
"Oh my gosh! That's a good one. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! That's pretty funny, that's more of a joke than a pun," Celestia puffs out. "Huuuhhh-heeeehhh. Think you can do one more joke before you head back to Ponyville?"
I think for a moment, then I got a good one. I then act it out while explaining the joke.
"OK, there's one super crazy psycho guy who has another guy cornered, literally, in a corner, cowering, only 15 ft. away. The crazy guy was finally able to defeat his arch-nemesis, and he was gonna blow him up with an M4-GL. With his finger on the GL trigger, he asks his foe 'HA-HA-HA! It's the end for you, Frank! You're unarmed with no way out, any last words before I blow you to bits!?'. Then Frank replies in a panicky tone 'Yeah, 7.' Then without sounding worried at all, completely calm. 'You're holding it the wrong way, Carl.' Then Carl says thank you as he turns it around, then pulls the trigger, but ends up blowing himself up. Frank then walks over to Carl's lifeless corpse & says 'Oh, oops. My bad, I guess you were holding it the right way from before, ya big dumb idiot'. The end."
Then they all laugh even harder from before.
Pinkie, trying to regain her breath, says, "Th-th-that i-is h-hi-hil-hilarious! I-I've never h-heard any-anything s-so funny before! Ohhhhhhhh! You're really funny! Can you teach me how to be that funny?" Pinkie asks.
"Easy,” I simply reply, “just be spontaneous, when you're given a statement, just come up with a quick silly reply without even thinking about it, for example, someone says that there's a guy with a gun in the room, & without even thinking about it, I quickly say the very first thing that pops into my head, 'Oh, sorry Mr. Miller, I accidentally grabbed my son's toy squirt gun, you're on your own.'"
"Well, that seems easy enough!" Pinkie replies as the rest begin to stop laughing.
"Anyways, me, Twilight, & the others better get going," I say before I slowly start to leave.
"We don't wanna miss the train back to ponyville. Let's go, guys, er, uh, girls. It was nice meeting you, Celestia & Luna."
"Nice meeting you too, Xavier" both Celestia & Luna reply at the time, still smiling yet at my joke.
"I have one last thing to say before you go," said Celestia.
"Yeah?" I reply.
Celestia then states out: "Like Twilight & her friends, I like to have her to write me a letter when she learns something new about friendship, explaining the friendship lesson that she learned. And beings how you never had friends in your world, you're now able to start anew, to be able to make friends. So I'd like you to do the same. Only when you learn a lesson in friendship."
"Sure," I reply. "I can do that."
With that, Me, Rainbow, Pinkie, AJ, Rarity, & Fluttershy went back to the train station. Twilight said we can go on ahead, she wanted to quickly talk to Celestia about something, she'll catch up later.
On the train ride back, I got nervous again, but this time, with anticipation, since I'm gonna live in a new world where I'm the only human. For once in my life where I'm not dreaming, I was actually happy. I was able to start over with a clean slate.

Here's the chapter you've all been waiting for, sorry it took so long, I've been getting a lot of delays whilst trying to work on this chapter. Hope you guys like it. Oh, I also decided not get into the explanation of Pinkies 'Pinkie Senses" since I've already typed enough about the part where they're heading to the train station, & I didn't want to waste too much of my creativity in the first portion of the chapter.
And at the part where it took 5 times for AJ to get Xavier's attention, the reason why was because he spaced off into his own little world, and when Twilight did the memory scan, she steered away from most of his personal life memories, the only life memories she looked through were the ones that were his core memories, the ones that help shape his personality, & the ones where she now knows that he's better off in their world since he was absolutely hated in his world, & the ones that feed her the history, science, & culture of our world.
Chapter 5: A New Resident of Ponyville

Chapter 5: A New Resident of Ponyville
During our train ride back to Ponyville, I decided to try & talk a little more with my 5 friends,(Twilight's still talking with Celestia) try to get to know them better.
I start the first conversation by asking, "What do you girls like to do in your spare time?"
Rainbow was the 1st to answer. "I sometimes like to pull pranks on other ponies, sometimes with Pinkie Pie, who also likes to pull pranks."
"I like to take care of my animal friends," Fluttershy responded.
"I like to make others laugh!" says Pinkie "It's my favorite thing to do!"
"Ah often spend time with mah family" Applejack replies.
"What about you Rarity? What do you like to do?", I ask Rarity.
She smiles a slight bit before giving her response, "I'm kinda always working, beings how my profession is fashion. Speaking of which, may I take your measurements real quick?"
Thinking to myself for just a brief moment, I tell her "Yeah, sure" as I stood up so she could quickly take my measurements, obviously for making me some extra clothes since the only clothes I have are the ones that I wore on the day of my arrival here in Ponyville.
Being ever so calm, Rarity took out a measuring tape with her magic, & levitated it around my body, making notes of my measurements. After about like 10 seconds or so, she finished with the measurements & put her measuring tape away.
"Wow," I say with amazement. "That didn't take very long. You must be pretty dang good with measurements" I compliment her.
"Thank you, I do like to take pride in my work. For it is what I'm skilled at" she replies with a nice smile.
"What about you, Xavier? What do you do?" AJ asks me.
"I like to make artwork, whether it's drawings, paintings, ceramics, or plaster stuff, like masks for example. I do whatever comes into my head as I sing to myself while I work on it" I tell them.
"Oh, you can sing? Could you sing a song, to show us your singing voice?" Rarity asks with eager curiosity.
"Sure," I tell them, as I start singing Sound of Silence, by Disturbed.
After I finished, I notice that the mares now have this expression on their faces, while also looking like they’re in a trance.
"Uh, girls?" I say as I wave my hand, hoping to snap them out of it.
"Huh, oh! That was amazing Xavier" they all say in unison.
"You have such a beautiful tenor voice," Fluttershy said with the faintest of blushes on her face, so faint you could barely even notice it.
"It made me feel like melted butter inside, it so lovely[<3].
"I strongly agree with Fluttershy," replies Rarity, who's also slightly blushing. "It was very lovely. Where did you learn to sing like that?"
"To tell you the dead honest truth, absolutely nowhere," I respond, replacing their expressions with a shocked expression on their faces.
In unison, they exclaim, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?"
Then Applejack says on her own "That's yer actual voice, yah never took any singing lessons at ALL?!"
Just then, Twilight pops into the room in a flash of light, with Celestia next to her.
"Thanks for the assist Princess, couldn't have done that long-distance teleportation without help," Twilight says to Celestia.
Celestia replies with a slight smirk "You are welcome, Twilight. I'll be going now."
In another flash of light, Celestial was no longer on the train.
Before Twilight even had a chance to speak, Pinkie Pie quickly popped in front of her face & exclaimed "Hey Twilight! Did you know that Xavier never took any singing lessons, but yet, he has a very lovely tenor voice!?"
Twilight, looking somewhat irritated with Pinkie Pie, answers "Really? That's interesting. Anyways, how's everypony doing?"
I answer with a joke, "Oh, TERRIBLE! First, we got our orders all messed up, & I got a swirly from a rather mean colt when I went to go use the restroom!" Everypony then chuckled at the joke.
"I'm just kidding. We're actually doing great. Right now the girls are talking about how amazing of a tenor I am," I tell Twilight.
"That's great. I had just had go over a few things with Celestia. We should arrive back at Ponyville in the next 15 minutes," Twilight informs us. As she sat down, we all continued to talk about each other the rest of the way back.
Once we got back to Ponyville, we first headed to the 'Sugarcube Corner', as what I was told, for the welcome party that Pinkie was throwing for me.
As we headed for the Sugarcube Corner, I saw that I was gawked at again by some of the residents, & I could've sworn I saw a light aquamarine mare look at me with a 'bedroom eye' look, which made me feel uncomfortable.
I hope she's not planning anything 'weird' when I'm asleep. Either that or she just thinks that I'm kinda cute looking, which I hope that's the case.
When we arrived at the Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie insisted for me to open the door instead of one girl's. So I opened the door, & once I opened the door all the way, the room instantly lit up, filled with decorations & other ponies who also came to welcome my arrival in Equestria.
The first thing we did was play Pin the Mustache on the Donkey, which was pretty much exactly like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, but with a mustache instead of a tail.
I went first, & I got it in the right place the first time, which surprised everypony. When they asked how I did it, I simply told them that I just used my other senses, which become heightened when one sense stops working, & my photographic memory to find the exact spot to put the mustache.
We played lots of games & had all sorts of snacks. But when we finished the last game, Pinkie Pie brought out the biggest cake I've ever seen.
It had words at the top that read 'To the Newest resident of Ponyville, Xavier!'. I smile with glee, Pinkie sure knew how to throw a party.
"Let's all give a round of applause for our newest Ponyville resident, Xavier the Human!" Pinkie Pie announced, & everypony that came to the party clapped their hands in approval as Pinkie shot off a party cannon, which she pulled out of thin air, not really sure how she did that.
When the applause died down, Pinkie Pie pulled out a cake knife & cut the cake into equal sized pieces for everypony, & person, in the room. Once everypony had their piece of cake, they all went home.
So now the only ones left at the Sugarcube Corner was me & my 6 new friends, who had welcoming gifts for me. They said it's their way of showing their acceptance of me as a friend, which made my heart flutter.
Applejack got me a black cowboy hat, which was pretty cool. Pinkie gave me joke glasses .
Rainbow gave me a poster of her favorite pegasus flying team in all of Equestria, the Wonderbolts, which seemed pretty cool. Fluttershy managed to get me some art supplies, not a whole lot, but just some pencil stuff, which I told her was pretty thoughtful.
Rarity got me some shades from the market area when we were heading to the train station earlier today. Twilight got me a picture of the 6 of them, which she said was her way of accepting me as a friend.
I thanked all of them for their thoughtful gifts & put them in the bag with my repaired sub-zero mask & gauntlets. When I saw them, I suddenly remembered something that I almost forgot about.
"Oh! Almost forgot. Hey, Rarity. I heard you made a specialized hospital gown for me when I first woke up in the hospital, so without trying to make it sound weird, I'd like to thank you for that" I tell her.
She blushes & says "You're quite welcome, dear."
Smiling, I also tell her "Oh, also," I pull out my sub-zero mask & gauntlets. "You didn't really have to fix these since they were only for Hallow....er...Nightmare Night. So I don't really need them anymore."
"Oh, I see. But at least you now have them for next years Nightmare Night" she replies.
From there, we all wrapped things up for the night & helped Pinkie clean up the place. After that, before we all went home to get some shuteye, Twilight wanted me to quickly meet her assistant Spike, who is a baby dragon. "Alright. I could take a quick few minutes to meet the guy" I calmly respond. But in my head, I was like "A BABY DRAGON! That's so fucking awesome! "
So me & Fluttershy followed Twilight to her house. On the way there, I noticed that Twilight had a star tattoo on her hip, I told her that that's nice tattoo on her hip. But once I said that, both Twilight & Fluttershy giggled, once again making feel stupid for saying something stupid. Then Twilight told me that it's actually a Cutie Mark, & explained to me the concept of Cutie Marks .
When she finished, I became quite intrigued with the whole concept(& also wondered what Cutie Mark I'd have if I was born here instead of Earth. I thought probably something to do with art).
Once we arrived at Twilights, we went in, where I greeted Spike , who was a bit freaked at first, but then quickly warmed up to me when I told him what kind of guy I was & that I think it's pretty cool that he's a dragon.
He smiled when I told him that. When I was done with my greeting for the small guy, Fluttershy told Twilight that we better get going since it was a quite a walk back to Fluttershy's cottage.
When Fluttershy & I made it back to her cottage, it was almost midnight. And when I first saw her cottage, it looked like a nature lovers dream house. It had a roof that was made with grass, had a few birdhouses attached to a few walls, a small river with a bridge arching over it. It was surrounded by beautiful forest scenery, & a few trees with birdhouses.
It also had a little chicken coop, where the chickens were already sleeping peacefully even though there was a bear sleeping only a few feet away from the coop.... wait, BEAR?!
"Uhh, Fluttershy," I whisper to her. "There's a bear over by the chicken coop," I tell her with a worried voice.
"Oh, don't mind Harry, he's very friendly, he won't harm any of the animals. Plus he's also one of my many animal friends" she reassures me.
Feeling halfway reassured, I head inside, where it was also looked quite lovely. Fluttershy said that since she has yet to prepare a bedroom for me, she said that I could either sleep on the couch, where Harry sometimes sleeps when he has bad dreams or with her in her bed, that is, if I wanted to.
Thinking to myself carefully, I decided that maybe I could just borrow some extra blankets & pillows & sleep on them on the floor next to her bed. But she said that I didn't have to since she'd be okay if I choose to sleep in her bed for the night.
"She's offering me to let me sleep with her in her bed for the night. She's cute & all, but I didn't want to take advantage of her kindness, but I also don't want to hurt her feelings by refusing her offer. Maybe if I told her what I think about it ," I thought to myself.
"Hey, Fluttershy," I start out. "It's really quite kind of you to let me sleep in your bed for the bed for the night, but I don't want to take advantage of your kindness."
"Oh, don't worry. You won't be taking advantage of my kindness, besides, you're actually the first friend I had over to stay the night in a long time," she tells me.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah. Really," she answers. "And to be truthful, it sometimes gets a little lonely sleeping alone."
Then I realize something. "Wait," I start off my question. "Are you asking me if I could....."
"Sleep with me for the night? Yes, I am," she says with a bright blush, finishing my sentence & catching me off guard.
Now with the sudden realization going through my head, I decided to ask a simple question before deciding.
"Is it gonna be something that you might ask me once in a great while?" I ask, trying not to make it sound awkward.
She then responds with a softer tone, "Yeah, probably. That is if you want to?"
Thinking that it probably won't hurt since it's only once every great while. "Yeah, sure. I'd be fine with that" I tell her.
She smiles with joy, "Oh! That's great---- I mean, thank you. I'll go get the bed ready while you get yourself ready." She heads upstairs as soon as she finishes her sentence. The sound of her hoofsteps fades as she heads upstairs.
Since I don't have much for clothes yet, I first check my pockets to make sure they're empty. Then I remove my socks, shoes & belt, leaving on my hoodie & pants.(I left the hoodie on because I didn't have a shirt on underneath.)
After I did that, I put my belt in the bag with my other things, set my socks & shoes by the doorway off to the side, then sat down in an empty chair while waiting for Fluttershy to come get me once she's done getting the bed ready.
It had only been like 3 moments before came down to get me.
"The bed's ready. You can come up now," she tells me, now wearing a white nightgown with a fluffy purple trim.
I follow her upstairs to her room, which had a nice little fireplace along the wall on the right, & a chest box at the foot posts of her bed. I climb in after she gets herself snuggled in with her covers. Once I got snuggled into the covers of her bed, I felt the warmth of her body radiating from her, making me feel relaxed & sleepy.
I laid down in a comfy position, feeling Fluttershy's wing wrap around me the instant I got in a comfy position. I ask her if she could try not to make this awkward. But her peaceful, silent breathing told me that she was already fast asleep.
So I leave her wing as it is as I close my eyes, feeling myself fall asleep to the soothing sensation of her body, ending my ever busy day.

I woke up the next day feeling excited, for I was gonna learn to fly.
Getting antsy, I quickly showered up, got some clothes on, but kept on the sweater from yesterday, since it's the only clothing item I have that I can fit my wings through (I'd have to make a quick stop to Rarity's to drop off all my shirts, sweaters, & coats, so Rarity can also modify those to where I can open my wings while wearing them still), got some breakfast, brushed my teeth, & left a note for Fluttershy on the table.
In the note, I wrote: Dear Fluttershy,
If you're reading this, I have already left to ask Rainbow Dash if she could teach me how to fly(and drop off all my shirts, sweaters, & coats at Rarity's so she could also modify those so I can open up my wings while wearing them). So good morning to you, I made breakfast again, it's sitting over on the stove, I'll see you later.

Once I was all ready, I went & grabbed my pajama shirt I wore last night, put back in the box labeled shirts, jackets, & winter coat , grabbed the box, walked out the door & went towards Ponyville to run a quick errand, & went to find Rainbow Dash.
As I came up to the door of the Carousel Boutique, I put down the box and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" asked Rarity.
"It's Xavier," I reply.
She then opens the door & says "Come right in, Xavier."
I pick up the box & stepped inside where I put the box off to the side, out of the way of the door. Whereupon entering, as Rarity closed the door, she asks me "Do you need anything, dear?"
"In fact, I do," I answer. "You see, I was wondering if you could modify the rest of the shirts, jackets, & coat you had made me like you did my sweater last night." I opened up my wings as I finished my last sentence, to show her what I mean.
"Ah, of course, I can, Xavier darling," Rarity replies. "It shouldn't take me no longer than half an hour. Just come back within that time period & I'll be finished with modifying the rest of your shirts, jackets & coat."
"Cool,” I tell her, “thank you." Then I head out the door to find Rainbow.
I first looked for her at the rundown shack near AJ's farm, but she was nowhere to be found. So I started looking around at places that might be a 'cool' hangout for ponies like her, but alas, nowhere in sight.
Then I went to look for her around town. But when I looked up at the clock tower, it had been half an hour. So I went to Rarity's to pick up my box of shirts, jackets, and..... ah, you get the idea. I've already said it too many times already, and you're probably getting tired of me saying it over and over.
Anyways, I went back over to Rarity's to pick up my box of shirts & whatnot that she had finished modifying. But when I got there, guess who I had finally found, just standing up against the wall spacing out?........That's right. Rainbow Dash!
"Ah, there you are, Rainbow!" I exclaimed.
Snapping back to the present, Rainbow jumped a bit when she heard me call her name.
"JEEZ MAN!" she yells. "I already apologized to you for almost making you crap yourself, but do you seriously have to try to get me back for it?!”
I chuckled a bit before I replied.
“No, I’m not trying to get you back for it. I’m just quickly making a stop here to pick up my box of shirts & whatnot,” I tell her. “Though I probably should’ve taken a few seconds to think through of how I should’ve spoken. Sorry for scaring you.”
She smiles, then said, “Ah, okay. Apology accepted.”
With that, she starts heading off.
Before she could get far, I quickly call out, “Oh, hey wait, Rainbow!”
“Yeah?” she turns & looks at me with a curious look.
“After I pick up my shirts & whatnot & drop them off at Fluttershy’s. I was wondering if you could maybe teach me how to fly?” I ask her.
“Yeah, sure,” she replies with a smirk. “Did Fluttershy say that she didn’t have the time to teach you when you asked her?” she asked.
The moment she said that it suddenly hit me.
“OH SHIT. I...I.. didn’t even think of asking her first,” I tell Rainbow.
“OH SHIT! HOW’S FLUTTERSHY GOING TO REACT WHEN SHE READS MY NOTE? SHE’S PROBABLY GONNA THINK THAT I THOUGHT THAT SHE’S PROBABLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH OF A TEACHER! ” I thought to myself.
Looking at the clock tower, I told Rainbow that I had to quickly get back to Fluttershy's.
But as I walked away, she had said, "By the way, next time you go looking for me, try looking up every few minutes or so, it's where I’ll be if I’m not on the ground."
Hearing that made me stop in my tracks.
“How’d you know that I was looking for you this whole time?” I ask her curiously.
“Easy,” she replied while giggling. “I catalog everything whenever I fly. A good flyer should always be aware of all of their surroundings.”
I told her that that’s good advice & that I’ll keep that in mind. Then I ran the fastest I’ve ever run in my life back to Fluttershy’s cottage.
When I got to the cottage, I couldn’t hear the sound of Fluttershy crying. “Maybe she took it a lot better than I anticipated? ,” I thought. But when I opened the door, I heard the faint sound of crying. “Or not .”
So I opened the door further to peer in. From the corner of my eye, I saw Fluttershy sitting over on the couch, sniveling up a storm.
Next to her sat a white bunny with what seemed like a sympathetic expression. But when it saw me, the expression changed from sympathy to anger.
“I don’t like this bunny ,” I thought. “He can do facial expressions. So this bunny actually KNOWS emotions. And I don’t wanna know what else it knows, or how smart it is .”
I opened the door the rest of the way as I entered the room, closing the door behind me as I walked over to the sniffling Fluttershy.
"Hey Fluttershy, I'm ba--," I started saying before she interjected.
"Well? Did she agree to teach you, Xavier?" she asked through a little sniveling fit as she blew her nose upon finishing her question.
"Uh, not exactly. You see she --," I said before Fluttershy interjected again.
"Well, then. Who're you gonna ask next?" she asked. "Cross-eyed Derpy? Thunderlane ? Cloud Chaser ? Flitter ? WHO!?"
"You," I tell her.
She suddenly ceased her sniveling as she looked at me with a curious expression.
"Me?" she asked. "But from your note, I thought that you didn't think I'd be able to, so why me?"
I then explained to her that I never thought that, but merely forgot to think a few things over before I acted. And it wasn't until Rainbow Dash mentioned something about her being too busy to teach me when I realized what a dick-headed move I made & quickly rushed back over to apologize.
When I finished explaining, her sniveling had almost stopped as she brought me in for a hug.
"Thank you for realizing your mistake & making up for it," she told me as I returned her embrace by hugging her back.
"Your welcome. I'm really sorry for hurting your feelings like that," I apologized. "I promise I'll keep your feelings in mind whenever I make a choice."
"That would be great, Xavier," she replied. "Apology accepted."
She held the hug for a little longer than expected. As I waited for her to end the hug, I felt a little, friend , of mine, heat up a bit.
"NO!" I exclaimed in my head. "Nonono, Not now! Stop it, boner! Stopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopitstopit! GO AWAY!"
The heat finally diminished as I kept thinking those thoughts.
"Thank you!" I exclaimed in relief in my head.
Just when we were about to end our embrace, we got surprised out of our wits when we heard a voice.
"Are you two lovebirds done with your mushy hug yet, or am I gonna have to wait a few minutes longer?" asked Rainbow Dash, who was peering in through the window.
"DAAAH!" Fluttershy & I exclaim.
"How long have you been there, Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked.
"Long enough to hear the entire conversation," Rainbow replied.
"Okay. I have 2 questions for you Rainbow," I tell Rainbow. "One, did you seriously follow me here? Second, you're not gonna make a game out this to see who can get scared the most, are you?"
Laughing her ass off, Rainbow replies "Yes, I did. And no, I'm not."
Meanwhile, in Canterlot, where Celestial & Luna have been watching the whole thing through some sort of magic ball of some sorts.
"I didn't know how humorous he can make things without even trying,"
"Same here, dear sister," Celestial smirked. "He has a way of cracking jokes without even realizing."
"Let's keep watching & see what'll happen next," says Luna.
Happy with Rainbow's answer, I tell her that she doesn't have to teach me any more if she doesn't want to. But then Fluttershy suggests an idea that we all could benefit from.
"Maybe both me & Rainbow could teach you, Xavier," she said.
Curious, I ask "How exactly?"
"Well, there are some days where I am really busy taking care of the animals," Fluttershy starts out. "So I was thinking that maybe on the days where I'm really busy tending the animals, Rainbow Dash could teach you. And when I'm not so busy, I could teach you. How does that sound?"
"Sounds like a plan, Stan," I reply with a comedic accent, earning some giggles.
"Yeah," Rainbow responds. "That sounds like a great plan. I can even help give pointers & whatnot when Fluttershy's teaching."
"Alright. Let's get started then. Cute bunny by the way Fluttershy," I said as I stood up & looked down at the bunny, looking at me with a smile.
"Thank you," she replies. "His name's Angel. He's one of the many pet animals I have. But that doesn't mean that all the animals that I take care of actually live here, just so you know."
"Cool," I respond. "Alright, let's go."
And from that, we got started on teaching me to fly in a wide open area where I'd have plenty of space.
"Okay. We're gonna start with the basics," Fluttershy told me. "Start with a simple hover. Shouldn't be too hard, Xavier."
I flapped my wings & began hovering.
"Done & done," I said.
Fluttershy & Rainbow giggled. "Okay. Now from hovering," Fluttershy states. "Moving in any direction, forward, backward, sideways, & up and down, should be pretty easy to know."
"Yeah," I reply. "Up, flap down harder. Down, flap up harder. Forward, flap in forwarding motion. Backward, flap in a backward motion. Turning, shift bodyweight to either side you want to turn."
I then do each maneuver as listed, I almost got each one right away without fail. The only one I epically failed at was the forward flap, gave it too much power. Ended up rolling forward & landing hard on my ass.
Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash both chuckled a bit at my epically failed first attempt.
"Oh yeah. Just laugh it up. Hahaha, really funny," I tell them using my comedic accent, smiling myself afterward.
Just then, I saw Twilight come in, wearing a schoolgirl outfit.
"Hey, Twilight. Morning, " I tell her.
"Morning Xavier," she replies. "What's going on here?" she asks.
"Rainbow and I are helping to teach Xavier how to fly," Fluttershy answered.
"Ah, I see," Twilight responds. "I just wanted to check in to see how Xavier's getting by. And I see that he's doing fine. But before I go, is it alright if I ask you a quick question Fluttershy?"
"Sure Twilight," replied Fluttershy.
"Can an owl's pellets be used to make good compost for potting plants?" Twilight asked.
"Of course," Fluttershy answers. "It's biodegradable due to its diet of mice and other rodents about as small as a mouse."
"Alright," Twilight responds. Then says to me, "Oh, hey. Like I did a few days ago with all the info you have about your world & showed the others, I could do it again with the knowledge of how to fly from both Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash, & show it to you Xavier. If it's alright with you three."
Thinking it over for a minute, I ask Fluttershy & Rainbow, "Would you two be alright with that?"
They whisper to each other for a moment or two. Then Fluttershy responds "We don't mind if you want to or not. We'll leave it up to you."
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yeah. We're sure," Rainbow replied.
Thinking, I decided “Alright, I think I’ll go with it.”
With a few words, Twilight did the memory scan on Fluttershy & Rainbow for the knowledge of flying, & then come over to me & transferred it to my brain.
Once finished, I tested it out to make sure it worked by doing a bunch of complicated hovering maneuvers then did flight maneuvers like an expert. Doing barrel rolls, aerial front flips, downward corkscrews, & whatnot.
When I finished, I landed back on the ground & said: “Why girls, I think I’ve got it!”
They all giggled at that remark as they told me that they are happy for me.
“So what do we do now, girls?” I ask. “Any ideas?”
“You could probably get started on finding a job or something to earn bits,” Twilight suggested.
“Oh, yeah,” I reply. “Can’t just put it off. I better get started. Oh, but before I do. There’s something I’m curious about.”
Twilight asks “What’re you curious about?”
“So I already found out that you & Fluttershy have pets. But I’m wondering if Rainbow & the others have pets,” I answer her question.
“Rarity, Applejack, & Pinkie Pie have pets, but I don’t have one,” replied Rainbow. “But I might consider getting one sometime soon.”
“Cool,” I reply. “What pets do Rare, AJ, & Pinkie have?”
“Applejack has her female dog, Winona. Pinkie has her toothless baby alligator Gummy. And Rarity has her she-cat Opalescence,” Fluttershy answers my question.
“Huh, makes sense in a way,” I reply. “AJ’s dog for like herding farm animals. Pinkie’s alligator for, whatever unpredictable reasons she has. And Rarity’s cat, which I’m guessing is a Persian cat, for its natural beauty & grace.”
They all seemed to ponder that for a bit, then Twilight spoke.
“Hmm. Never thought of it like that,” she said. “Kinda puts it in perspective.”
“Yeah, it kinda does,” I reply back. “Wanna know a fun fact about cats?” I ask Twi, Rainbow, & Flutters.
“Sure,” they all reply in unison.
“Cats are afraid of cucumbers,” I tell them with a matter-of-factly expression. “The reactions the cats make always get some good laughs.”
“Interesting,” said Twilight.
I could have carried on the conversation, but I had important things to do. So I told them that I’d better get going & that I’d see them later as I made my way to Ponyville.
After everything that happened of what you read in that last chapter, I went to go find a job somewhere so I can make myself useful & earn some bits. But before I do, I had remembered something that Celestia had told me! ”I’d like you to write a letter to me when you’ve learned a lesson in friendship.”
So what I did first was head back to Fluttershy’s cottage, more like flew back, now that I know how to fly, to write a letter to Celestia, & probably get a different shirt on finally.
So once I got there, I went up to the room that I’m staying in, & sorted through all my clothes & put them in proper places. Shirts, pants, boxers, & socks in drawers. Jackets, coats, & hoodies in the closet, obvious places for obvious stuff. After that, I took off the two, almost three, day-old hoodie, & put on a hoodie that looks like an upgrade from the one I took off.
Then I went & got a paper & pencil & wrote Celestia that letter she’ll want to see. In the letter, I wrote:
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that when it comes to asking someone about a certain thing, in particular, you should stop & think about what to do first before acting. Because if you don’t, you might hurt somepony elses feelings, even if it’s your friend. Because they’d be really hurt about it from the misunderstanding. So as a friend, you should always consider a friend's feelings before you act, that way nobody's feelings are hurt.

Once I finished writing, there was a knock on the door moment later as I was looking for an envelope. I opened the door to find Spike there.
“Hey Spike,” I say to him. “How’s your day going? Anything you need?”
“Hey, Xavier. It’s going well. I’m stopping by to get this to you & tell you that Rarity forgot to put it back in one of your boxes of shirts & whatnot when modifying them,” he replied as he handed me a clothes bag with a shirt in it.
I thanked him for the update & went to go back to looking for an envelope. But as I closed the door, Spike asked, “What do you have there? A letter?”
“Yeah,” I answered. “Letter for Celestia about my recent lesson in friendship.”
“OOOHHHHHH!” Spike exclaimed. “I almost forgot. That’s another thing I needed to tell you. Letters to Celestia don’t get sent by envelope,” Spike explained. “They get sent by my dragon flame.”
Lifting an eyebrow, I ask “They do?”
“Yeah. Like this,” he said as I handed him the letter.
He rolled it up like a scroll & then blew a small jet of green fire (Green Fire! --- That’s a cool fire color)
“That’s pretty cool. Especially your green fire, that’s an AWESOME fire color right there!” I reply.
He smiles. “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome. Anyways, I gotta go find a job & make myself useful,” I reply back.
“You could try Apple Acres,” Spike suggested. “From the size of the place, the Apple Family could always use an extra set of helping hands.”
“Alright,” I reply. “I’ll give it a try. See ya.”
“See ya,” Spike replies back.
With that, I took to the skies again as Spike headed back to town to get back to his errands, I presume.
When I got there, she seemed to be running some sort of obstacle course with what looked like her little sister that she told me about.
“Probably practicing for the SisterHooves Social Event later in the month that I read about in the newspaper earlier today ,” I thought in my head.
I landed at the end of the course & waited for them to finish.
In a few minutes, I heard Applejack’s heavy panting as she said to her sister, “Great run, Applebloom! Jus’ a few seconds faster than the last one. Just a few more weeks o’ practice an’ we’ll be ready for that there SisterHooves Social that's comin’ up in a few weeks.”
She looked up & saw me standing near them. “Hey there, Xavier!” Applejack exclaims. “How ya’ doin’ this fine evenin’?”
“Pretty good,” I tell her. “This must be Applebloom , the little sister you told me about.”
“Yup,” Applejack replies. This here’s Applebloom.”
I smile & shake hands as I introduced myself. “Hi. Nice to meet you Applebloom.”
Applebloom smiles back & returns the greeting. “Howdy! So you’re the human Ah’ve heard about, & mah sisters new friend. Applejack told me a lot about you, Xavier.”
I blushed a little bit when she said that. “What things did she tell you?” I ask.
I kinda slightly regretted asking that, because she started naming numerous things that make me the kind of person I am.
“She told me that you’re: Funny, a great tenor, very trustworthy, respectful, have all the qualities of a good citizen, artistic, often mysterious & unpredictable, really clever, ----” “Yeesh ,” I thought. “How much about me did AJ tell her sister!? ” “----- & that, with help from Twilight, you’re the only human to ever have wings,” she finally finishes.
I then look at Applejack with an irritated grin. “Applejack,” I reply. “How much about me did you tell yappy-yapperton here exactly?” (Comedian reference there. If anyone recognizes it, give your response in the comments section.)
“Uhmmm,” she starts to blush. “A lot o’ good things, maybe?” She questions herself.
“I see,” I reply, taking a deep breath. “Anyways, I’m trying to figure out what to do for a job, & Spike suggested to try Apple Acres. So I came here to see if you need a hand with anything.”
“We’re fine,” Applejack explains. “We can handle things here on our own, but if we do need some extra help in case one o’ us is sick or injured, we’ll come to get ya.”
“Alright, see you two later,” I said as I was about to head off before I heard an old granny-type voice call out.
“Hey Applejack, Applebloom! Who’re ya two talking to out there!?”
“Just mah friend Xavier, Granny Smith!” Applejack yells back. “Wanna come out to meet him before he leaves!?”
“Sure! Ah’ll be out there in a sec!” the voice of Granny Smith answers as she came out running to where we are.
“Howdy there, Xavier,” she introduces herself, shaking my hand. “Ah’m Granny Smith (You’re gonna have to picture the elderly age of the image of her in your head.). Applejack told us a lot ‘bout you.”
“I’m sure she did,” I reply, making another irritated grin as I look back over at her. “She also told me about you. And from what I heard, you’re still as fit as a teen, despite your age. That’s quite something.”
(I’m gonna skip the rest of the conversation since I’m getting bored trying to come up with them.)
“Anyways, I better get going,” I tell them. “It’s almost noon, & I gotta find myself some lunch. See you all later.”
“Bye, Xavier,” they reply back in almost complete unison.
I went back to Fluttershy’s to grab myself a quick lunch before heading into town to find a job. When I got there, I already found Fluttershy there, feeding the animals their lunches.
Right away as I entered the cottage as if she read my mind or something, she looked up at me & said, “Hi, Xavier. Your lunch is on the kitchen table if you’re hungry.”
Surprised by her statement, I was gonna ask her how she knew that I'd come back to get lunch. But then I realized, it doesn’t take a genius, nor several geniuses, to figure out that anyone would back home around noon to get lunch, so I thanked her for having it ready for me for when I arrived.
My lunch was two simple pb&j’s, a glass of OJ, & a cheese stick. Nice & easy lunch, just like my style.
Once I finished, I asked Fluttershy if she could use some help feeding the animals.
“That’d be nice,” she replies happily, then explains what I could do. “Could you fill the chicken feeder to the fill line, please? The chickens get cranky if they don’t get their lunch in time. You’ll find the bag of chicken feed in the closet with the other animal food. It’ll literally say ‘chicken feed’ on the label. The closet should be in the kitchen by the back door.”
Nodding in reply, I went to the closet & grabbed the chicken feed, went out to the chicken coop, & filled the feeder to the fill line.
Then I went inside & helped Fluttershy with the rest of her work until she was done.
“There we go,” says Fluttershy. “We’re all done feeding the animals. Thank you a lot for the help, Xavier.”
“You’re welcome, Fluttershy,” I replied, then asked: “Oh, by the way. Besides flying, is there any info about wing care that I need to know?”
Fluttershy thought about it for a moment or two, then answered with a question: “Have you preened your feathers lately? Do you know how to?”
In response, I told her that I haven’t & that I’ll need to be taught how to. I asked her if she could show me how.
She sat me down on the couch & explained everything she knew about preening. From proper feather shape to the concept of how it sometimes needs the help from another pegasus.
After telling me what to do as she showed me how to do it, I preened every feather on both wings that I could get, using my teeth as instructed. As I preened, I had felt a similar, ‘pleasuring’ feeling.
“Holy shit! ” I exclaimed in my head. “This feels almost as ‘pleasureing’ when I masturbate, but slightly different, if not better. ”
Once I finished, there were still some feathers I couldn’t reach. Fluttershy noticed as well as she had me lay down on the couch so she could help me get the rest.
When she started on the preening, the ‘pleasuring’ feeling had greatly intensified. As she preened my hard-to-reach feathers, I accidentally let out an audible satisfied moan.
The moment I accidentally moaned, Fluttershy had stopped, which really made me worry.
“Oh God ,” I thought worriedly. “I seriously hope that she’s not thinking what I think she’s thinking. ”
Manning up the guts to look, I lifted up my head & turned around to see Fluttershy’s reaction towards my moan of ‘pleasure’.
Once I could see her face, she didn’t seem to look displeased, surprised, or worried herself. But instead, she seemed to be blushing as she faintly smiled in the most bashful way possible.
She looked so fucking adorable, I thought my heart was literally gonna blow from a major overdose of cuteness.
“Oops,” she said quietly. “I guess I forgot to tell you that wings can be... ‘sensitive’. Touch them just right, & they can cause an ‘arousal’. Sorry.”
“It’s alright, Fluttershy,” I reassure her. “You don’t have to apologize. Everyone makes mistakes.”
Widening her smile, she thanked me for being understanding & resumed preening, & taking her time to make sure it’s done right.
“Man ,” I thought as Fluttershy preened away. “I’m gonna have a major hard by the time Flutters is done preening my hard-to-reach feathers. ”
In an attempt to take my mind off how good it feels, I start off a friendly conversation.
“So what’re your plans for today, Fluttershy?” I ask, hoping to get the conversation going.
“Oh. Just the usual,” she replies through a mouthful of feathers. “Spending a majority of the day tending the animals. But when there are no animals to tend to, I look for something to do whether it’s with my friends, or by myself. What about you? What are your plans for the day?”
“I’m gonna go, --- {moans} ---, into town & find, --- {groans} ---, a job & make myself useful, --- {moans} ---, so I’m not a liability for you,” I manage to answer her question through moans.
“Oh, I went into town earlier today to get some animal food that I ran out of,” Fluttershy explains. “And I saw that Roseluck was having some trouble trying to run her flower shop. She seemed really busy. You could probably help her out with her shop so she’s not the only one running her store.”
Thinking about what she said & taking it into consideration, I told her that I’ll probably go try there next.
When Fluttershy finished about forty-five minutes later, I got up, stretched my wings, & thanked her for her help before I went I went to the door.
But before I could even take two steps forward, I had a strange feeling that somepony might’ve overheard my moans before they could even knock, & are now probably hiding in a nearby bush.
I told Fluttershy, who was curious about why I was just staring at the door, of my suspicion & went to open the door & yelled out: “Alright, I know you’re there! You’re in that bush over by the fence. There’s no need to keep hiding. I know you overheard the moans.”
A few moments later after I finished speaking, the bush that I mentioned had rustled a whole lot, proving my intuition correct as Pinkie Pie came out, face looking like she had been majorly weirded out(even for her), holding her pet Gummy in her left arm.
In sync with Fluttershy, who watched the situation unfold, she asked how I knew where she was.
“Intuition,” I reply, answering their question.
“Hmm. Interesting,” Pinkie Pie replies on her own, then asks another question. “Oh, uh, by the way. The moaning I heard, was it what I thought it....?” she asked as she made a ’gesture’ with her hands.
“OH NO NO!!! GOD NO!! IT WAS NOT!” I exclaim in disgust. “Flutters was just helping me preen my wings.”
“Oh. Okay,” replied Pinkie Pie. “Anyways. I was just stopping by to pick up some more alligator food. I ran out of it at home.”
“Oh, of course. I forgot that you were coming by to get it. I'll go get it,” Fluttershy responds, then rushes back inside and comes back out a moment later with the alligator food, & gives it to Pinkie. “Here you go.”
“Thanks. See you guys later!” Pinkie replies as she bounces off, literally.
Then I turn to Fluttershy and say, “Well. I better get going in order to get that job. See you later, Fluttershy. Might be back at around supper time.”
In Ponyville, I asked around for where Roselucks flower shop might be, surprisingly enough, I got a decent answer with the first time asking. So I went over to where the pony's directions led me, where I found Roseluck .
I went up to her and introduced myself like I would at a job interview. “Hi, my name’s Xavier. And I’m interested in applying for a job. Do you have any applications?”
“Nice to meet you, Xavier. I’m Roseluck, and yes, I do,” she replied as she went to get one & brought it over to me. “Here you go, Xavier. Thank you for stopping by for an application.”
“You’re welcome, and thank you for your time,” I replied as she told me your welcome as I left her store with the application.
Back at the cottage, I filled out the application with the information that any other application requires. Highest education achieved, references(stopped to ask a few friends if they’re okay with me putting them down as references), age, hours available to work, et cetera. Once I had finished, I heard another knocking at the door. Going to answer it, I opened the door to find Rarity standing there.
"Hey, Rarity. How's your day? You need something?" I ask her.
"Hello, Xavier. It's going great. I'm just wondering if you got my message from Spike?" She replied.
" Yeah. I did, " I tell her.
"Okay. That's all I want to know. See you later then, Xavier," she says as she starts to walk off, but is soon surprised to see that I am also walking off with her as I shut the door behind me.
"Oh, so you have something to do at the moment?" She asks.
"Yeah," I answer her. " I'm just going to bring this job application back to Roseluck's flower shop. "
"Ah, I see. You know I'm also looking for someone to help me with my little fashion business. You could apply if you want to, I'm always looking for some extra help," Rarity explained to me.
"You know, if I don't get the job right away, I'll come over by your place to see what you need extra help with," I respond with a smile.
"That would be lovely," she replies with a giggle. "I guess I'll see you later at my place. "
"Yeah. I guess so," I respond.
"Okay. See you then," she quickly gives me a little peck on the cheek right before I flew off, catching me off guard.
I temporarily lost control of my flight pattern as my mind had just gone into a daze from what had just happened.
I remained dazed for a few more moments before I snapped out of it.
"Gee, I didn't realize that she had felt that way for me as a friend. I wonder if any of the others feel the same way? Guess I'll just have to find out within time. "
Chapter 9: Getting the Job
In an effort to take the thought off my mind, I thought of an awesome joke from the Brandon Rogers video 'Grandpa HATES Disneyland' .
“’Hurry the fuck up in there. My boy has got to take a Walt Disney shit!’ *Throws turd on the floor.* ‘God damn it boy, how’d you miss the bowl!!? Don’t worry, I got this.’ *Slides it into next stall with his foot & plugs his ears as we hear screaming from the other stall.*
That never fails to make me laugh, especially when he craps himself & says it was his last pamper, then the guy who was about to take a photo turns around & looks at him with that 'the fuuuuuuck!?' look on his face.
As I approached town to turn in the application at RoseLuck's flower shop, I saw somepony having trouble picking up the stuff that he dropped from his boxes.
"You need some help with that?" I asked him. "Some help would be nice, please and thank you," he replied. "No problem," I as answered.
As I was helping him, I noticed that one of items kinda looked like a.......... smartphone? But he noticed right away that I had noticed it, so he quickly swiped it away before I could even confirm what it was & slipped it into his pocket.
"What was that?" I asked. He quickly answered "NOTHING. Anyways, thank you for the help." "Sure thing," I reply.
He then said "Hey, you're Xavier, the first human to set foot in Equestria. Nice to meet you," as he holds out his hand with a smile.
"Yep. That's me," I reply back as I shake his hand with a smile, not wanting him to suspect that I'm onto him. "And you are?" I ask.
"NightStar ", he replies. "My name's NightStar. Love to stay and chat, but I gotta go finish my errands. Nice meeting you, Xavier," he said as he went on his way. " You too," I reply back.
"Why did he not want me to know what that object was?", I thought. "Though I could've sworn that was a smartphone. But there's no way that kind of tech could be possible here. The resources needed are too advanced. There's the microchips, battery packs, video functionality for the camera, circuit boards, there's just too many factors. Heck, they don't even have the resources to invent an internet system."
”Now that I think about it, NightStar actually kind of reminds me of my favorite 3AM YouTuber back on Earth. Jason Walker. He kinda seems to look like him. But one thing’s for sure, there’s something about him that he’s trying to hide, & it doesn’t exactly read Equestrian. And I’m gonna find out what.”
NightStar; Just after he walked off, after meeting Xavier
”That was way fucking close!!!” *sighs* ”But not close enough,” I scowled at the thought. ”I knew I should’ve carried that phone in my pocket. But I didn’t, & now, Xavier---er, John, is onto me. If he finds out about me, who knows what’ll happen to him if she finds out about him. He shouldn’t even be here anyway, just him being here was enough to let me know that she’s still alive. I have to find out where she’s hiding & how to kill her for good, even if it means sacrificing my life to protect my little brother John, and Twilight. Even though her memories of me have been wiped from her mind, I still love Twilight with every ounce of my being.”
”I’m the one who created the demon, that’s responsible for this whole mess, with my blood,” I think as I stare down at my scarred right hand. ”And I’m going to destroy this demon & fix this mess....... at any cost.”
Now back to Xavier
I finally arrive at RoseLuck’s flower shop to hand in the application I filled out earlier. So I walked up & hand it to her as I say, “Here’s the application I asked about earlier.”
“Thank you,” she replied as the three friends I put down as references walk in. (Bulk Biceps, ThunderLane, & Big Mac)
From here, RoseLuck quickly asks them if they think Xavier’s a trustworthy individual, they all give positive feedback. She does a quick interview with Xavier, he’s hired, starts work tomorrow, let’s the rest of his new, and only , friends know, informs Rarity he’ll also do volunteer hours for her at the Boutique, bada-bing bada-boom chapters over.
