I stared out of my balcony window, my eyes glued to the moon that hovered in the sky. I reached down and grabbed my tea cup off of the table beside me. I slowly took a sip, enjoying the sweet taste of honey. I put my cup back on the table next to the tea pot. I sighed slightly as I tried to get comfy in my wooden chair. It has been a long day. I thought.

The whole day had been a struggle. Like every other day, I had to sit through boring courts and listen to nobles complain about ridiculous things. One of the greatest things that has happened today was the news I had received. One of my spies undercover has reported to me a serious matter that had to deal with my nephew, Prince Blueblood.

From what my spy has told me, he had begun working with a few criminals in the underground and had made a deal that would benefit them both. However, my spy was not able to find out what they were planning. I was not upset with the spy, but I wasn't going to let them do what they can while I don't know about it. The underground was a group of criminals that have a good way of keeping their crimes undetected. My guards would usually report to the crime seen late or empty.

I had been trying to keep them in check for a while now, but they have grown in size and I was not going to allow them to take over my streets. I had done all I can to sending my guards to seeing to the problem myself. Every attempt had ended up the same as the others, empty. At this point I have had enough of them and my nephew.

Blueblood had always been a gigantic pain in my side. He was the noble that complained the most and he was the one who always used his power for himself. I had tried to help him with his selfishness, but every attempt at that was also fruitless. I can't even count the number of complaints I have gotten from the staff about him. I have even got a few letters of resignation. That fact that he was able to make my loyal staff quit their jobs made me mildly upset.

My sister, Luna, was also part of this. It has been a few years since her return, but she still has much to learn about this new era. I had told her that she would need some friends to teach her how things work now. However, there is something that I have noticed that has made me nervous. What made me nervous was that Luna and blueblood have started trying to become friends. I am happy that Luna is trying to be friends. If only it were a nice guard or at least some noble with a decent heart. But no, it had to be Blueblood.

I am worried that Blueblood might be rubbing some of his selfishness to her. When she came back from her prison, she wasn't really what you call "Princess like." She was mean to the guards and staff and treated them like we would treat them long ago. I tried so hard to take that away from her mind. It upset me that Blueblood was undoing all I had done and was working with criminals for his benefit.

I know I wasn't really able to do anything about it. Even though I wish for Blueblood to be punished, I must be professional and keep my innocents for any reason necessary. That is why I had called upon my "little helper." I would only call upon him If I needed someone taken care of that I couldn't do myself. He was the only one I could rely on to get things done.

It had been a hour since I had sent the message out to him via pigeon. I had waited for him to show up so I could explain the details. I reached down and tried to grab my cup. My mind did a double take when I didn't feel anything on the table. I looked away from the moon at the table and found my tea cup to be missing. I looked around the table and confirmed that my cup was gone. I then heard a few quit foot steps behind me and I quickly turned around.

I sighed a breath of relief when I saw who it was. It was my "Little helper". My room was dark, but I was able to see him through the darkness. He stood in the center of my room with my tea cup in his hand. He wore a dark cloak with a hood over his head, covering the his eyes. He wore what looked like dark armored plates on his shoulders with dark gauntlets on his arm. I saw that he had straps and small pouches that covered some of his chest and waist. On his back were two swords that had a moon pummel and a sun pummel.

He stood there in the middle of the room staring at me. I raised a brow when he took a sip from my tea. He slowly walked over to me and handed me the cup. I took the cup and looked inside. I frowned when I saw that it was empty. I looked up at the face of the man. He wore a blank expression and stared into my violet eyes with his green eyes.

"Zareal, Royal Assassin, reporting for orders your highness." he said while crossing his arms. I huffed in annoyance.

"Hmph, the least you could do is salute or bow." I said. Zareal shook his head and smiled.

"It's bad enough I must leave my family on this beautiful night to do my job." he remarked. I nodded. I turned around and placed my cup back on the table. I grabbed the tea pot and pored myself another cup of tea. I put the tea pot down and grabbed the cup, taking a small sip of the sweet liquid.

"Yes, I'm sorry that I must call upon you this late into the night." I said while frowning. He walked around me and stood on the other side of the table.

"It's fine. You've called me in under worst circumstances". I smiled. He smiled back at me. "Who's the target Princess?" he asked. I took another sip of my tea.

"Your target is Prince Blueblood. I would like it if you took him out. He has caused a lot of trouble recently and I think I have given him enough warnings." I said putting my tea cup down. He looked at me surprisingly.

"Wait!? You want me to kill your nephew?! Celestia, why would I need to do this?" he asked I sighed and rubbed the bridge of my nose.

"That is none of your concern. Also, he is technically not my nephew. I adopted him to be my nephew. Plus I already thought about this and it seems that he had this coming." I sighed unhappily. He nodded understandingly.

"What should the proof mark be?" he asked. I looked down in thought. I would usually ask for my assassins to collect a personal belonging to the one they kill to show me they did their job. It had to be something close that they would never let go of. I thought back on anything that Blueblood mentioned about not letting anything of his go. I then remembered that he always wore a golden ring. I looked up at Zareal.

"Blueblood usually wears a golden ring on his right hand. He never takes it off. Bring that to me as your proof." I ordered. He nodded and turned around to the balcony doors. He opened the doors and stepped out side. He jumped up on the railed and prepared to jump. Before he did, I stopped him.

"Wait! Pleas make sure it is painless and quick. I don't want his suffering on my conscience. Also, please send my regards." I said. He nodded and jumped off the balcony. I sighed and closed the doors. I reached down and took another sip of my tea.

"Blueblood, Please forgive me"
