I looked at the old green man, his face is clearly wrinkled. The most notable feature is his robe which has a strange symbol on it. I watched as he walked in. I asked “Who are you?”

He replied “I am Kami and you are one of Sunset’s friends I presume?”

I said “Yes, I am Fluttershy and my friends are in the living room.” I then frowned “Why are you here?”

Kami said “Unfortunately, 2 warriors of incredible strength are coming to Earth and I want to train you and your 5 friends. I heard about the feats from your school.”

I notice 5 of my friends are behind me. A question comes to my mind “Where is Sunset?”

Pinkie burst into tears “She’s gone, that bad man killed her in cold blood. I couldn’t do anything except watch.” I wanted to shout but the look on her face silenced me.

Kami said “We can bring her back but I need you to....”

I watched as Pinkie jumped at him and shouted with tears in her eyes “HOW, PLEASE TELL ME?!”

Kami sighed as he told us “We have 7 magical objects called DragonBalls and they can grant almost any wish including bringing the dead back, we will bring her back to life in exactly 1 year.”

I asked “Why in one year, why not now?”

He replied “Because she is training to prepare for the 2 strong warriors coming to Earth but in order to make sure we are thoroughly prepared, I want you to train as well.”

I asked “What about the one who attacked Sunset? We need to take him out.”

Kami replied “He is dead, killed during a fight but now is not the time for that.”

Applejack asked “Ah’m ready to do this.”

Rainbows shouted “Yes, let’s kick some alien butt.”

Twilight said “I guess, although I will have to catch up on my studies later.”

Rarity sighed “I will go because Rainbow is going, although I will definitely need to go and get a makeover afterwards, all this fighting will make a mess of my hair and don’t get me started on my nails.”

Pinkie said in a serious tone “I will not let anyone suffer anymore, I will not be a bystander.”

I said “Well looks like we’re all in agreement, Kami let’s get going.”

I watched as Kami glowed and teleported all 6 of us somewhere. When I looked around I was confused. It was a large white expanse with a large building in the middle and several tall palm trees around.

I heard several voices, I saw several people standing there. The first one I saw was a man with 2 scars one across his left eye and the other on his right cheek. He wore a bright orange garb with a strange symbol over his heart, his hair was unruly and long. I saw two bald men standing next to him, one was tall and the other short. The sorter wore a similar garb to the scared one while his friend wore a green garb that diagonally cut across his upper body.

I watched as the one with the scar introduced himself “I’m Yamcha and my friends back there are Tien, Chiaotzu and Krillin.”

The tall bald one turned around and I was slightly shocked as he had an eye in the middle of his forehead. He said “I’m Tien, my friend here is Chiaotzu.”

I stared at the kid he definitely looked strange. I was about to say something when the smaller bald one said “My name is Krillin, It’s good to have some help, I just hope I don’t die again.”

I watched as Applejack said “Well, let’s get started. The Saiyans won’t wait.”

Rainbow shouted “Yeah let’s get started.” I watched as Twilight and Rarity were nervously fidgety. The thing that got me was the look in Pinkie’s eyes. Her eyes burned with fire.

Kami said “Mr Popo will be assisting me.” I saw the short man with a darker complexion and big red lips, the jewel on his turban glowed in the light.

I asked “What’s the first lesson?”

Kami replied “You all need to learn how to summon your aura, you internal energy.”

Pinkie smiled as a huge pink aura surrounded her although much to my surprise there were slight traces of dark blue and light red as well. I tried to focus my aura, I felt a small twinge after a couple of hours and then to my surprise a yellow and pink aura flared around me. I smiled to see Twilight and Rarity had figured it out as well, Twilight had a deep purple aura and Rarity’s was white and violet. I watched as Applejack and Rainbow Dash struggled.

To my confusion Pinkie said in an uncharacteristically serious tone “You are approaching this the wrong way.”

Rainbow and Applejack asked confused “What do you mean?’

Pinkie said “It is not about raw strength or speed, it is about finding the power within yourselves and letting it come out.” I watched as Rainbow Dash and Applejack’s concentrated and then auras flared up, Applejack’s a glowing yellow while Rainbow's a cyan colour. They jumped up and down excitedly.

Kami said “I will teach you the basics of fighting.” I watched in awe as he moved with incredible speed demonstrating many basic techniques over the course of the next 3 hours. I watched as Kami sat down exhausted, I forgot that he was elderly and this took a lot out of him.

We all had learned flight and were about to fly home when a voice echoed in our minds “(Hello girls, I’m communicating with you via telepathy.)”

Pinkie cried “Sunset I’m so sorry, you are dead because of me.” We all ran over and gave her a big hug trying to comfort her.

Sunset said “(Relax, Pinkie you did nothing wrong, I care for you, you all are my friends and if I had to I would give my life gladly. Pinkie, you were the one who never stopped inviting me to parties and trying to help me adapt during those rough 6 months. See you in a year, farewell my friends)”

We all smiled as Sunset’s voice disappeared then Rainbow said “I forgot to ask her what being dead was like. We all facepalmed and flew off leaving Rainbow behind as She shouted “Wait up” This aura thing certainly makes flight easier and now Rainbow won’t have to boast about her speed anymore. I land in front of my house and asked “Computer, have you fed the animal while I was away?”

The computer responded “Affirmative”

I said “Activate shut down protocols, I’m going to bed.” She got in bed as the computer echoed her words.

She turned off the light and the computer shouted repeatedly “Update in progress.”

Fluttershy shouted “For f**k’s sake, computer.”
