I smiled the last 6 months have been quite spectacular, me and Pinkie's relationship has grown stronger. It didn’t take me long to catch that monkey, Bubbles I think it was. Gregory, that damned cricket kept teleporting, still I caught him after 2 weeks. The training has been intense but I am coming to terms with most of it, the Kaioken though is hard to grasp.

I finished my breakfast and was ready to continue my training. I felt an energy approaching, it was much lower than mine. I stared at the stranger who was struggling to stand, he was taller than me, his hair stuck out in several directions he wore a similar garb to 2 of the warriors Pinkie told me about.

He asked me with excitement “Are your King Kai, I’m hungry?”

I snarled “No I’m not and you should show some more respect when talking about King Kai, he is a great teacher and you should be honoured to get the chance to train under him.”

He shouted “King Kai, I came here for training, Kami sent me.”

I asked slightly shocked “Kami sent another... Why?” I shook my head until I heard footsteps.

King Kai asked “You wish to be trained, what’s your name?”

The man replied “I’m Goku.” I was still confused as to why Kami sent him, his demeanour was carefree and aloof. I continued my training and tried to avoid their conversation.

After a few hours, King Kai called me in to eat. I watched as the stranger in front of me kept eating. I asked “How does he eat so much?”

King Kai said “He’s a Saiyan.” I frowned at the statement, I was killed by the other Saiyan. I telported away and fired a blast into the air in anger. I smiled slightly, at least my solar cannon works. I started to focus my telekinesis to try and move the planet, it wasn’t budging. I took a deep breath and pushed even harder, I stood there for hours. I snarled at my own failure.

King Kai came out and asked me “What’s wrong, you seem frustrated?”

I said “I have bad experiences with Saiyans plus I can’t move this planet at all.”

King Kai said “I told you this, Kai planets are a special kind, moving one without the Kai’s permission is almost impossible, only Kais and Gods with more significantly more power can do that.”

I replied “I see that as a challenge.”

King Kai laughed “You are quite a good student, you see the impossible as a challenge to be overcome.”

I replied “Nothing is impossible, every impossibility has become possible since I got here, this world without magic is now becoming filled with it. I will never give up.” King Kai smiled. I continued “Good student, really my previous teacher would disagree, I left because I was impatient. She wouldn’t teach me what I wanted and I grew vengeful.”

He said “I don’t see that in you anymore.” I smiled slightly at that.

I heard Goku shout “When are we going to start the training?!”

King Kai shouted “If you're so eager, catch Bubbles, that’s the first part of your training.” I heard him suddenly running around.

I laughed as I said “He is going to struggle isn’t he ?” King Kai nodded at me.

He said “Your power has grown so much since you’ve been here. You are easily over twenty times my strength. In fact your over forty times my strength.”

I asked “How is that possible?”

King Kai said “Something about you is so familiar, I can’t place it but you have a godly presence encompassing you, maybe that’s the source of your increased growth. I can’t tell what it truly is.”

I asked confused “A godly presence?”

King Kai said “Us gods have a different type of energy, still this presence is godly but very different from any other I have felt, be careful, this could draw you into greater danger than ever before.” I watched as he shuddered slightly.

I said “If you don’t want to tell me that’s fine, I’ll deal with it when it comes.”

King Kai said smiling “Thanks, I find the events surrounding this individual slightly traumatic.” I nodded and sat down concentrating on my energy and feeling a fire within, it felt different this time. I concentrated harder and it burnt hot within. I looked around to see a huge flaming aura around me. King Kai smiled at me. I jumped up and down I finally learnt the Kaioken, I don’t what was holding me back before but now I can do it.

King Kai said “I think you should rest, the days of mastering Kaioken are going to be very long.” I hummed as we walked back to his house, the sounds of Goku frantically chasing the monkey was oddly comforting, maybe it’s just the feeling that I had done so much better, maybe this is how Rainbow Dash feels all the time, proud.
