A Boy in an All Girls School

Spike walked towards his next class, which was history. This was one of the subjects that while he was good at it, he didn't quite enjoy it. He sat down in the history class, where he saw Applejack. "Hey AJ." he said to her

"Oh, hey Spike, you're in this class too?"

Spike nodded "Yeah, I'm not a big fan of history class though, I'm still pretty good at it."

A woman in a long black dress with the same shade of black hair came in. Her eyes were a beautiful crimson color and she had an E-cup rack. She told them, "Good afternoon class. I know I wasn't here last year and you had to deal with that annoyance of a substitute, but rest assured, I'm here to stay this time."

The class sighed in relief, and said, "Good afternoon Ms. Umbra."

That name... he recognized it from somewhere, he though to himself, "Wait, Umbra was the name of a famous fashion model! But that can't be the same one..."

"Now, today we'll be covering the civil war. Can anyone tell me what caused the Confederacy to secede from the Union?"

Spike raised his hand and when she called on him he said, "While many people believe that the Confederacy seceded because they believed the new President would outlaw slavery, that's incorrect. They seceded as protest on States' Rights. Few people actually realize that the Confederacy's constitution outlawed the international slave trade."

Umbra smiled and said, "Very good Mr. Drake, that's exactly correct. The President never intended to outlaw slavery, and people don't realize that he was a slave owner himself. Although it would be incorrect to say that the South didn't feel that their way of life was threatened."

As class continued, they talked about different wars and important events. The next question that Umbra asked was, "Ok, next question, why did the states not want to enter the Second World War?"

Spike raised his hand again and answered, "Because there was a war in Europe and a war in the Pacific, the states didn't want to get involved in a two ocean war. However, after the bombing at Pearl Harbor, the Japanese realized that they poked the sleeping bear. They thought Americans were lazy and spoiled, and wouldn't fight back. Unfortunately for them, they were wrong. However, in most schools, they don't teach us about the war in the Pacific, the only things they mention about our fight against Japan is the Pearl Harbor attack and the nuclear bombings. Comparing the Holocaust to what the Japanese did to their captives is like comparing the torture to a tickle fight."

Umbra seemed quite surprised at how knowledgeable the boy was, and decided to test him further, "Ok Mr. Drake, you seem to know a lot of world history. Let's test your knowledge. First question, who offered to kill Mussolini for the Allies?"

Spike scratched his chin and said, "If memory serves, that would be the famous mobster Lucky Luciano. Although the allies declined his offer, not wanting organized crime to get involved in the war."

She smiled lightly and said, "Very good, next question. Why did America declare war on England in 1812?"

Spike answered, "Simple, England was at war with France, which was under the control of Napoleon. The English were kidnapping American sailors and merchants and forcing them to fight in the war. The reason behind this is because that being a British Navy member back then was permanent, the only way out was to die. Because of this, few people were joining the service. The English were losing until they defeated the French and could focus their attention on America. The War of 1812 was called the Second American Revolution because England still didn't see us as our own country."

She was getting slightly annoyed, this boy seemed to be smart enough to be a teacher, "Let's see if you can answer this last question. What was the first capital of the United States?"

He smirked saying, "That would be Manehatten, and it stayed the capital until they moved it to Fillydelphia in 1791, and it made it's permanent home here in Canterlot ten years later."

She smiled brightly and said, "Good job Mr. Drake." she looked to the rest of the class and said, "You all could learn a thing or two from this young man."

As class went on, the bell eventually rang. A girl with glasses and white hair in pigtails came up to him and said, "Your intelligence is quite astounding, I never knew some of those things myself. I find an intelligent man an attractive man. My name's Sugarcoat by the way." she kissed his cheek and walked off.

Spike blushed deeply, most girls thought intelligent boys were nerds, but this girl liked it. Applejack walked up to him and said, "Spike? Spike? Spike!" she said snapping her fingers in front of his face, snapping him out of his trance, "What the hey was that?"

Spike blushed again, "N-Nothing, she was just impressed at how smart I was, that's all..."

Applejack raised an eyebrow and said, "Well, okay, I'll see ya at lunch." before walking off.

Spike looked at his schedule and saw that music was his next class, which took place in the auditorium.
