A Boy in an All Girls School

Spike arrived in the auditorium again and saw Pinkie sitting in the front row. He walked over to her and said, "Hey Pinkie, you've got music too?"

Pinkie nodded her head and said, "I love music class! It's my favorite class in school! I love music!"

Spike sat down next to her and waited for the teacher to come out. When she did, he saw a woman with short purple hair, dressed in a pink blouse with a black skirt. She looked familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it. When she greeted the students, it came to him and he thought to himself "Cadence Silvers... as in DJ K-Dance!?" He had seen her once in concert back in Fillydelphia, but he never thought she'd be his teacher.

K-Dance said, "Okay everyone, come up on stage and choose your instrument to play."

The students went up on stage, and Spike looked around. There was a girl with green and light yellow hair who came up to him saying, "What's up lil' dude? You want to hear what I've got going on?"

He started to say "Wait, I'm not-" until the music was playing in his ears and said, "Hey, The Party Starts Now, that's my favorite song!"

The girl smiled saying, "Really!? Mine too! I think you and me are gonna be good friends. I'm Lemon Zest, what's your name?"

"Spike Drake."

"Well Spike, I look forward to seeing what you can do in music class." Lemon Zest said before walking off to grab an electric guitar.

Spike looked around and saw a grand piano. Not many people knew this, but his mother was a piano teacher, and she made him take lessons. He became good enough to write his own sheet music. He pulled some sheet music and put it in its place on the piano. He cracked his fingers and started playing

As the song continued, he noticed Lemon Zest had joined in with her guitar, and Pinkie joined in with a saxophone, which he had no idea she could play. As the song ended, Spike blushed at the cheers from the other students.

K-Dance said, "Not bad lil' dude, not bad at all."

As class continued, they talked about famous musical artists. As the end of the class rolled around, he walked up to the teacher and asked, "I had a question I wanted to ask you... Are you the DJ K-Dance?"

The woman chuckled and said, "Yep, that's me, and I remember you, you were that boy I gave an autograph on my album a few years back in Fillydelphia. You've gotten a lot cuter since that last time I saw you."

Spike blushed and said, "Thanks, my mom always said I was born cute and she thinks I'll die cute."

K-Dance smiled and ruffled his hair saying, "I'd be lying if I said I disagreed with her. Why don't you run along now? Hope you come back after lunch. Lunch is the end of the school day, but you can come back here to play some more music if you'd like."

Spike smiled and said, "Thanks Ms. K-Dance." as he walked out of the auditorium, he saw Lemon Zest waiting for him.

Lemon Zest walked over to him and entwined her fingers with his. "You've got a talent with how fast those cute fingers of yours move. I wonder what else they could do, if you catch my drift lil' dude."

Spike blushed fiercely and one of the voices in his head said, "I think I'm gonna puke!"

Spike said to the voice in his head, speaking to it in his head, "You can't puke, you're inside my-!" he was interrupted by the sound of vomiting inside his head

Another voice said, "Oh good lord, it's everywhere!"

Meanwhile, Pinkie was walking to meet her friends at lunch when her hair started shaking and a rush went down her spine. "Uh-oh, I haven't felt that in a while... it can only mean one thing... Somebody's flirting with Spike!" she said growling as she continued down the hallway. As the chapter ended, Pinkie said, "Damn these cliffhanger endings!"
