My eyes watered up as Scorch began writhing in pain in her unconscious state. "What happened to her?!?" I asked again, my worry finding it's way into my voice. "We uh.." Trixie began, Starlight cut in. "Well we uh.. We kinda went into Everfree and..." She explained the duel, Scorch crashing into the tree, the Timberwolves..

"Are you guys serious?!?" My counterpart scolded, "Equestria is this close to being in trouble and you decided to go into Everfree?! Where you could hurt yourselves?!" Twilight continued, pacing back and forth, she lectured the two. My eyebrows furrowed with anger, I wanted to shout at the two but then looked down at Scorch, I knew getting hurt herself was partly her fault, but the way she looked, I couldn't be mad at her.... definitely not now.

I was floating through the seemingly endless darkness once again, and the voice I had once forgotten was right at my doorstop. Chanting those same words as before. My image of what seemed like a evil version of myself showed up again, the words, the images, I knew to ignore it, it wasn't real.

Or is it?

I had to find a way out, a way to stop this madness. My eyes widened as image of BloodFang appeared, his eyes glowed red and he roared.

"YOU'LL SOON SEE, THE MONSTER WITHIN YOU."

I shot awake, sweat dripping down my face again. I slammed my muzzle into my blanket.

"Wait...Blanket?" I thought, confused as I looked around. It was night time, Sparky was on the floor beside my bed, asleep. I remembered the events from the early day and put two and two together. I sighed and quietly stepped out of the bed I was in, groaning quietly when I stepped on my injured hoof, which was now wrapped up. I looked at my wings to discover they were also covered in the silky, white bandages. I shot a quick glance at my girlfriend-

"Marefriend?" The thought quickly ran through my mind. She was sleeping peacefully and my pain instantly seemed to go away at that moment. I thanked Celestia that she actually liked me like I liked her, she's way to perfect to be mine...

I walked out of the room, careful not to wake the sleeping mare and walked through the castle halls. It was night time, but I didn't feel tired at all, I continued my walk until I heard two voices coming from a room. My closet Equestria friends so far, I could easily tell who they belonged to.

"Starlight...? Trixie...?" I poked my head through one of the gigantic two side doors, two heads turned my way before shouting my name. They ran up to me, tackling me with a million questions. "Yes. I'm fine guys." I waved them off, even if I was in a lot more pain then I let on, Starlight narrowed her eyes at me, not believing the lie I told.

"Scorch..."

"Okay, Okay. So maybe not everything is peachy but I'm fine, really." I sat on the floor, they went back to their normal spots. "So...What did Twilight and Sparky say?" I asked, a bit nervous.

"Twilight got really angry with us." Starlight answered, her ears dropping until they perked up again. "Buttttt Sparkle was really worried for you." She raised her eyebrows and looks at Trixie. "Is there anything a auburn colored mare can tell us?" Trixie finishes, mischief in her tone. My face turned red and I stuttered "N-Nothing! She's just my friend that's all!"

They laughed and I turned my red face away from them, pouting a bit.

I yawned, opening my eyes.
"I guess I fell asleep?"I wondered, I still laid on the ground, Trixie and Starlight unconsciously cuddled by each other infront of me "Knew it.." I mumbled, a slight smirk on my face. I laid my head back on the ground and willed my eyes to close but they wouldn't. J yawned again, "Guess I'm wide awake" I stood up, taking a bit of pressure off my injured hoof as I walked to the room I was previously in last night, to see a yawning Sparky. It took my breath away and I unconsciously smiled at how cute she was. Her eyes locked onto me and she looked at the empty bed and back to me. "Scorch!" She cried, galloping to me, she threw her hooves around my neck and nuzzled her muzzle into my fur. "Your okay.." I heard her mumbled into my fur.

"Well no duh, I'm amazing." I decided to joke around, Sparky let go of me, fixing her glasses on her muzzle easily before giving me a stern look. "I'm serious Flame! What was I suppose to think when Twilight and I leave you outside one moment and Trixie and Starlight are running in with you knock out the next moment!" She scolded me, I rubbed my hoof against the floor "We didn't mean to worry anyone really... I just, I don't know... I needed something to get my mind off of BloodFang." I said, my ears dropping down in regret. Sparky's faced softened at this. "Scorch..."

I hadn't told anyone about the recurring nightmares I had, not even Sparky. But it felt like she always knew exactly how I felt.

She walked over to me and nuzzled me once more, my heart starting beating a bit faster. She pulled back, blushing also but smiling. "We'll be fine. We will say Equestria." She said, sounding more confident then I thought she ever could. She really had changed since she came from Crystal Prep. I smiled, kissing the top of her head, her face turned beet red and I giggled. "Yeah...We will..."
