Heart's And Hooves Day Confession

Previous Chapter

After training for a few weeks, you had gone through a small but noticeable change. Your muscles were more prominent in appearance, and your swordsmanship with Axiom had drastically improved. Today you were training with the other soldiers. Some accepted you, but the majority of them had often said things along the lines of "He's the type of monsters we're going to be fighting." and "As soon as he betrays us, I'll dice him up." However, you paid no attention to they're ramblings as you focused on completing the final drill of your 12 weeks of training, which was finishing a grueling obstical course the size of 1 and a half football fields. Once you had gotten through the muddy ground you had to crawl through, you ran to the finish.

"God, that sucked." You stated, bending over to catch your breath.

"Master, have you finished the course?"

"Yeah, what is it Axiom?"

"I have come to realize that this is your final drill, and then we will be upon the battlefield."

"Oh." You kept it secret from Axiom and everypony else but you secretly feared going into battle, only a little though. You weren't scared of fighting the changelings however, you dreaded the thought of what would happen to all the ponies if you had failed in keeping them safe. You had spent many nights in the barracks dwelling upon the amount of chaos and innocent bloodshed that would fall down on Equestria if you were not successful. This fear only drove you to work harder to acheive the goals of the various tasks given to your regimen, but the thought of faliure still plagued you. Celestia dispelled these fears whenever she would visit you in your barracks, sometimes you would walk in the castle gardens with her talking about how things worked in your world. You actually had a special meeting arranged since it was the day before your departure.

"Alright grunts, your free. Meet with me in the barracks tommorow at 0600 (6:00)."

"Yes Sir!" You yelled with your squadron.

"Axiom, I'm on my way back."

"Understood." You had figured out how to communicate with Axiom telepathically if you two were separated during the first and second week of training. It came in handy whenever you needed him to cheat on a test. After the changeling attack, the ponies had rebuilt most of Canterlot and they were free to go back home but there was one different thing built in Canterlot to keep the changelings from attempting to siege the castle. It was a wall of metal, they were gonna go with stone but you told them to make it out of metal. Celestia was pleased with you once she saw how strong metal was as opposed to stone. Twilight also educated you on the matters of magic and how it all flows through the world. To your confusion, she said that even ponies that don't have a horn has their own magic. That explains how magic had left a good result upon you and Axiom, but there were still some things that still boggled your mind. Why did your voice change when you first met Celestia and Luna? You'll figure that out later but now you got a get ready for what you and Celestia had planned to tonight. She said it today was a special holiday she said it was a "Hearts and Hooves Day" or something. Upon making it to Celestia's Chambers, you went in the bathroom and started the shower and the water rushed down your body, the droplets clanking against your gauntlet.

"Master,"

"Oh shit! Axiom what did I tell you about speaking with me in the shower?!"

"Why, I don't understand. I let you speak to me when you are polishing or sharpening me."

"That's different and you know that. I'm nude."

"But master, I have no intentions of seeing your genital-"

"I'm not even gonna go there, just don't do it anymore. Am I clear?"

"Very well." After wrapping that up, you left the bathroom and found a black and white suit on Celestia's bed.

"....Hm? I guess it's mine." Putting it on, you walked down to the dining room, the place you agreed to meet with Celestia. Usually there was a long rectangular table in there but it was just a normal dining room table.
Sitting at the table was Celestia and she was magnificent. She had an elegant golden dress with candy apple red lipstick and bronze eyeliner.
She notices you,

"Archaeus, come sit with me. I have to ask you something." As if a moth drawn to a brilliant flame you were subconsciously making your way to her. Sitting down, you looked at the table and in between the two of you was a wine bottle. Well this is quite suggestive. Looking at her, she smiled and fluttered her eyes, causing your heart to suddenly take in several thousand calories from the cuteness overload.

"How are you?" She spoke.

"I'm fine and let me say, you look amazing Celestia." She gained a deep blush at your remark.

"Why thank you and might I say, you look quite dapper your self."

"Thanks. So what did you want to ask me?" You question sipping on your glass of wine.

"Oh yes of course. Are you familiar with the holiday named Hearts and Hooves?"

"Not really, what's it about."

"Well, really it's about asking the mare or stallion you are in love with, if they would be your special somepony."

"Oh."

"Which comes to my question, Archaeus when I first met you, I thought that you would only help us as a means for bloodshed and violence but when you came and saved us all... I truly saw you and what you stood for. When you were watching over the city, I was taken aback by your actions, it's not everyday somepony from another species would fight so hard to protect the other. That is the reason I feel the same way I do now. Archaeus will you, will you be my special somepony?" Your brain burned out after she finished her question.

"I- I don't know what to say." With mile wide eyes you thought it over and came to a decision.

"Archaeus are yo-Mmph?! Hmm." You surprised her with a kiss while she was in the middle of the sentence. You broke the kiss,

"Yes Celly, I do." She blushed and pulled you in closer for another kiss.

"Thank you. I have been waiting for an appropriate time to get that off of my chest but I didn't want to impede in your training, so I had this little dinner arranged."

"I understand why you would wait that long, but you should have told me earlier. That way it would be a whole lot less stressful for you."

"But I didn't want to rush into things, especially with what has recently happened in Canterlot."

"I'm glad you told me anyway." You stayed there with her eating and speaking, even after you two had finished your food, the conversation between the two of you was still strong.

"It's getting late, do youthink we should head off to bed?" Leaning over the table to meet her in a small kiss you say,

"I'd love to," Rising from your seat, you both walked to the Chambers, while Celestia resting her head on your arm. Getting out of your clothes in the bathroom, you joined her in bed. She nuzzled into your shoulder.

"I love you Celestia."

"I love you too, Archaeus." Slowly but surely you and your new marefriend drifted to sleep, as the ambiance of Luna's wonderful night dragged on.

The sound of birds chirping slowly caused you to wake. To your suprise, the sun was up and Celestia was still in bed with you. Last night was great and right now, you felt like the luckiest man alive. You turned your head to look at her and you saw that she was sound asleep. She had a smile on her face, it was a subtle one but you saw it.

"Man, she's beautiful."

"All the more reason to fight for her?" Axiom interrupted your train of thought.

"Yeah."

"Master, remember we must meet with the Drill Seargeant at 6."

"Oh right. Lemme get up." As you were rising from the bed, Celestia's eyes fluttered open from the sudden movement.

"Hm?" Soon her brilliant magenta eyes were open.

"Sorry for waking you." You apologized while walking towards the bathroom.

"It's fine darling, I had to get up soon anyway."

"I'm glad to see you awake honey." Your response made her blush,

"I'm glad that you have the same feelings for me." Stepping out of the bathroom, you met her at the bed and caressed her cheek.

"How could I not, you are such an enchanting and eye-catching mare.
And not to mention you are so, so, sexy." You whispered the sexy part of your sentence in her ear.

"Stop it Archaeus, you don't know what your doing to me." She whispered in your ear with a lusty tone. You nudged forward kissing her sweet lips with a fierce passion. You pushed your tongue in her mouth, eliciting a surprised moan from her.

"Master, we don't have any time for this."

"Shut up you buzzkill," stopping the kiss to catch your breath, you grabbed her flanks.

"Ooh, Archaeus. I don't think we sh-" putting a finger on her lips you shush her.

"I know...but I have to go to the Drill Sergeant so he can tell me where I will be on the front lines."

"You don't have to, I could send a servant to have Drill Sergeant write a letter to us."

"Oh, well that sounds amazing sweetie." You said as you kissed her forehead. However your romantic endeavors were halted when your stomachs decided to growl in unison. You both laughed at the sounds.

"So breakfast, I suppose?"

"Yep." After that, you and Celestia made your way to the dining room.
Upon entering, you noticed that the Mane 6 were sitting and eating their own food. They all looked worn out and tired, but you and Celestia weren't looking any different.

"Good Morning." You said to them all they replied with a,

"Mhmm." Even Pinkie looked tired and in her case, that's rare. It also looks like they replaced the table with the big one. You and Celestia found a seat next to each other. When she sat next to you, Twilight spoke, sounding confused.

"Umm, Princess Celestia? Why aren't you sitting at the head of the table?"

"And why would I want to do that, my faithful student?"

"It's where you usually sit."

"I know that but I wouldn't be able to stand not being with Archaeus." She said kissing your cheek. Once the display of affection ended, Twilight and her friend's eyes were wide that they looked like they were going to explode. Pinkie's eyes however, grew to the size of Delaware. Then, she started to zoom around the table.
"Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh!" She exclaimed as she pulled the both of you in for a hug. "I don't believe it! I'm going to throw the biggest party ever!"

"Maybe some other time Pinkie Pie but we can't party just yet. We need to stay focused and level headed if we are to win the war."

"Yeah, the idea sounds good and all but we need to place our attention at the matters at hand."

"Okay, as long as I get to throw a party." Everypony, including you, laughed at her remark.

"If it's any consolation, I would like to congratulate you Princess Celestia on finally finding a suitor." Rarity spoke.

"Why thank you Rarity."

"Well I think you guys would make an awesome couple!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Oh, I can't wait to see you two get married." This remark from Fluttershy caused you and Celestia to blush. During the conversation, Luna walked in.

"Hello dear sister, I see you told Archaeus about your feelings."
As soon as you heard Luna finish speaking, it was your turn to look surprised. You gave her a look of confusion, which she only responded with a wink. Looks like she had known this was going to happen.

"Master? Where are you?"

"In the dining room."

"I am on my way."

"Wait what? What do you mean." He didn't answer though.

"Is something the matter darling?" Celestia asked, breaking you out of your telepathic call to Axiom.

"No, I was just talking to Axiom."

"But how?"

"During training, we discovered that we could talk to each other telepathically."

"Wow, that sounds interesting." Twilight said with the sound of wonder in her voice. Before anyone could say anything else, Axiom flew into the room and into your hand. The moment the sword touched your hand, it was activated causing the sword along with your gauntlet to light up.

"Woah." The Mane 6 spoke, mesmerized from the display. While the gauntlet was lit. The light intensified,

"Master, the gauntlet is going through a metamorphosis."

"What?!" You were stopped from saying more when the gauntlet let out a hiss of air before the fingers were turned to claws. There were more spikes and then, an additional plate grew on the shoulder rising until it stopped.

"Archaeus are you alright?" Celestia asked with worry in her voice.

"Yeah, I gotta tell you, these changes never get old."

"Archaeus, can I look at your right arm?" Twilight asked. You nodded and she got up. When she made it over to you, your arm was enveloped in a purple aura.

"Woah!" She screamed as the aura went away.

"What's wrong, are you alright, Twilight?" Celestia asked with a panic stricken expression plastered on her face.

"His whole body is radiating with intense magic." Once she said this everypony casted a look at your arm.

"Master?" Axiom spoke, but it wasn't in your mind however. It was out loud. The voice of the sword caused everypony to snap their heads on to the blade.

"Yes?"

"With all these changes, happening in such quick succession, I am starting to think that we have only scratched the surface."
