Hero
Rally The Troops
Previous ChapterNext ChapterArising from your slumber, you made your way towards the bathroom to freshen up and change your clothes. Upon looking at yourself in the mirror, you were lost almost immediately in thought.
"It's insane how much changed over a week."
"Yes, I can understand where you are coming from with that statement." Goddammit why do these ponies keep creeping up on you?
"Woah! I didn't know you were there, Celestia. As a matter of fact why are you in here?" You asked her with a quizzical look.
"I was just seeing if you found the bathroom adequate."
"Oh, well it is. What are we going to do today as far as the changeling situation?"
"First, I will send a regimen of soldiers to assess the damage done throughout the rest of Canterlot. Once they've given me the report, you will begin your training."
"Sounds like fun. Hey?"
"Yes Archaeus?"
"If an attack does happen, get me at once."
"Noted. Now get ready, time is precious to us." Then with a swift turn she walked out of the bathroom room with a certain sway in her hips as she left. Your eyes were drawn to her huge behind that made Luna's butt look like nothing was there.
Once the door closed you immediately turned the knobs of the sink to full power as you wiped your face.
"Uuuugh, what is with the pervey shit lately?" After finishing a shower, you emerged fresh. Once you made it out of the bathroom, you grabbed Axiom and left Celestia's Chambers."Jesus, I hope they learn to develop elevators, these stairs suck." Reaching the throne room, you saw almost 300 to 500 ponies, usually the civilian count was 1,578 based off of what Twilight had told you.
"Look it's the hero that saved us!" One of the colts shouted, pointing a hoof in your direction. Immediately after the outburst, you were bombarded with cheering.
"Master, it seems you have won over the trust of the ponies. We are making quite the impact upon Equestria."
"It does seem like that huh? Guess we'll have to keep up the good work."
"Indeed." Celestia along with Luna made their way up to the throne and took their seats, as if it were a reflex, the ponies ceased to make noise.
"My loyal subjects, I know that we have lost a lot yesterday, but that still doesn't mean that we are not strong!" As she shouted out the last piece of her sentence, the whole room guards and ponies alike rallied. "As long as we are together we can never fail!" The cheering was nearing your ear's deafness point. "Archaeus, would you care to say something?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, I would." Walking up to face all the guards and ponies, you spoke but with that deep tone from earlier and as you said your words a fire burned inside you.
"Soldiers, when you are on the battlefield, remember that you are risking your life to preserve the ones who can't defend themselves! Even though you are bloodied and tired, fight! Fight until you see the white light and once you see that white light fight against that as well! We are soldiers, stallions and mares of honor and strength! May our colors shine bright as we make our way back home bringing nothing but victory! May the mighty Equestrian flag dance freely in the breeze. So fight! HOOOORAH! HOOOORAH!" Your voice shook the ground as you shouted your battle mantra. Soon after quoting the chant used in the U.S. Army, the soldiers copied your chant as the they raised their weapons. Celestia had an ear to ear grin on her face.
"It seems you're wooing the princess Celestia with your words master."
"Well, let's not stop now." You say to Axiom. Then, you turned your attention to the Mane 6. "Twilight, do everything that is in your power to keep the ponies safe and that goes to all of you as well, even you Fluttershy!" "Citizens of Ponyville and Canterlot. At the end of this war, you will know the feeling of freedom and happiness. I swear upon my life that you will never be harmed ever again!"
Raising Axiom you pointed at the castle doors. "Changelings beware, the might of Equestria's sword shall reign vengeance and justice upon thee!" Completing the speech you triggered your armor to further emphasize the point.
"That was quite the speech, Archaeus."
"Thank you, and I meant every word of it Celestia."
"Good now my sister and I have to make sure that everypony has what they need. I have set up a magical training dummy for you in the Royal garden."
"Thanks." Walking through the garden felt so different from the scene that was located here yesterday. All those bodies from earlier on that littered the ground here just gone so fast. The only thing that you see that gave of any hints of the battle, was a patch of grass with a reddish pink stain. "How big is this God forsaken garden." You mumble as you walked around looking lost. Eventually after a 3 minute time span you found the dummy. It was a changeling dummy, and boy did it make you feel like a kid in a candy store.
"Master, it would be best to test the new gauntlet, seeing as how you just just got it. We also need to measure how much weight it can sustain before it ncan be destroyed. Then we also have to find the melting point."
"Sounds like a plan." You moved the metal gauntlet around and it felt like it was a part of your body. You didn't feel anything in your arm once you started touching it. You then returned your focus back onto the changeling dummy, that magic sure is good. Punching the changeling felt like you were actually punching one in real life. As the day went on you kept training until the sun was brought down.
"Master, do you really think we will win this war?"
"Yes I do."
"Then we have a long way to go." And with those words, your training had begun.
