Applejack is a lot of things. She is loving, caring, funny, an all around enjoyable person to be with. One thing she is not, however, is strong. Not very, never was, despite her personality.

So when she finds her girlfriend of 3 years cheating with her best friend, she is flung into an unwilling fight with her mentality and a new sense of helplessness. She has to fight her past demons and now fight these new ones.

Adding a siren to the mix just isn't fair to her, either.
