Fallout Equestria: RainFall

A civil war in one of the human kingdoms in the land of ponies. Most find this ironic a land of peace and hope. It’s now under a great deal of stress. This land is alive more so than most think. The land has been alive since the return of the so-called hero. When battle happens in this land it cries of sadness. Soon it will send its magical creatures to fight the humans and get them to stop this treatment of each other. The story can no longer be lost within this world of hope. I know someday the creature I lead to the door will know the truth. I just wish she stayed out of the fight but she did her task and that is all there is.

Two days later Dragonslayer Kingdom.

I have been here for the last two days. I don’t know what is going on out there. I just hear screaming and explosions out there. Thankfully I had food Majesty got for us before I left. I need to leave soon to learn what caused this curse on this lock. I look through my supplies, and I don’t see any more food letting out a sigh.

I need to get out of here and find food. With all the battles going on it’s not going to be very easy to do so. I quickly stood up, grabbed my sword, and left my bags behind heading out of the hidden room. Looking around the room it hasn't only been ransacked and many bodies litter the floors. It’s been burned up a bit. I quickly closed the wall again to ensure no one else could find the key.

I don’t care who is winning, I don't give a rat's ass who is winning. If I did I would be joining in this battle. All I want is to find who is linked to this curse to finally use the key. Then hopefully the war will be over. I am trying to figure out the best course to go through this.

Before I could do anything the door opened up again. I see soldiers from the other side. I stare at them and they look back at me.

“Listen, I am not part of this kingdom. I am working for Majesty to bring back the stars of hope and change.”

The other soldier looks at the one behind them.

“I see, this is the one Majesty told us about. I am sorry to say that the king of this kingdom has played you. This is not a kingdom and he is not the real king. He killed the true king years ago.”

I let out an angry sigh.

“I see then who is linked to the curse to the keyhole to the heart of Pony Land?”

I finally get a good look at the woman behind the soldiers and she just chuckles.

“Did they tell you a lie like many others? There is no curse placed there by the wizard who let you in there. With him gone, you could have just used the keyhole. But before we allow you to do this. I heard you’re a fighter of great worth. Maybe you can help us get to the throne room. It’s heavily guarded and the way there is not going to be simple.”

I let out a groan and another set of lies.

“Is the wizard with the king right now?”

The woman nods.

“Then I shall do this my way.”

I head to the window.

“The location of the throne room is there a window there?”

The woman stares at me.

“Yes it’s the top floor but why do you?”

I smash open the window and jump out of the room using my many claws like a creature like me should. With various stones able to hold my weight and the fact I am using my sharp claws to make sure I can climb. This is not simple for my race. The woman pokes her head out the window.

“Are you insane?!”

I glance back down at the woman.

“I will meet you in the hallway to the throne room. Survive if you can but I ain’t risking my neck for anyone I don’t know.”

I work on climbing the wall wondering how those below will get there before I do. Maybe they will get lucky. All I know is I have a long climb before I get there. I wish this room was on the top floor and not so many spots below it.

The nameless woman and her troops a few hours before the meeting with Rhyolite.

I am known as Tanya. I am just a simple knight of my kingdom looking to retake the throne from a madman. I am one of the few women who knows how to speak to a dragon instead of killing them like the dragon slayers.

I use the scale armor I got from a dragon before they died by the judges of old. How old am I some would ask? Old enough to know not to mess with the stars like Majesty wishes to help the creature who came from another land to do so.

“My lady, we are almost at the front lines. Is there anything you need before we join the battle?”

I glance up at my guard.

“No, just let me know when we get there. If the one Majesty told us who was waiting for us there. Then we need to be swift.”

The guard hits his fist in his armored chest bows his head and leaves. I head to my bed and relax, closing my eyes and wondering what is going to happen. I haven't had this kingdom since it was first saved by Megan and her friends. I wonder when everything went wrong. Why were all the judges attacked as they did?

I don’t know how long I was asleep. I open my eyes when I hear horns and sounds of fighting. I hear swords smashing outside. I quickly get my helmet on and my weapon. Getting out of my cart as quickly as I can.

“My lady, they made a path for us. We need to get there as quickly as we can. This is the only chance.”

I didn’t answer, I followed the team I picked myself. I picked them back many years ago. The only chance we would have is if the Dragonslayer’s king got lazy and didn’t keep his army up to snuff. We cut a swift slice through the troops heading to the back of the castle. It was the path Megan used to break in years ago.

“Go..we need to get to the wizard's office.”

We have no idea why a mage recently told us what we need will be in the wizard's study or office. I am unsure what to call it and I don’t care. It took us at least almost six hours to get through the entire castle, not even getting into any fights or battles. It was strange why no one even tried to defend the halls.

Getting to the office. We see whatever the creature is. Majesty told me about this creature and we would see them sooner or later. I have been in contact with Majesty ever since she came back.

I don’t get it the creature is stupid or crazy. She just jumped out of the window and climbed up the wall. I wave to the others and we head to the main hall.

“Come let's get going.”

Again no soldiers even trying to stop us. Most of them are dead or giving up. Something is scaring them to do so. I wonder if there is more than we know here. Finally, we get to the main hall. When we get here the window smashes open she did.. She made it up here by just climbing outside.

Back to Rhyolite

I think maybe I did a stupid. I don’t even know why I did this fucking wall climbing. Maybe because I felt these monkey creatures were below me? They’re warriors like I am you dumb creature. Just come on and do what you must do.

I smash the window with my claw and jump into the room noticing the knights made it before me and I just sigh.

“I see you made it. I..”

I went silent looking around. There are no guards, they are already dead all over the floor. I have no idea what is going on.

“This is not normal why aren’t they defending anything?”

I glance at the human.

“We don’t know.”

I shake my head. We go into the throne room, my eyes open wide. Standing right there the king has a large claw deep into his chest. Is a pink-grown dragon. This dragon lifts his head looking at us with a dark smile.

“Spike?!”

The woman yells.

“Tanya….”

I take a look closely at the dragon. I take a look back in my memory. I remember seeing an old painting of Majesty and this dragon named Spike. I asked Majesty about what happened to him. She didn’t explain. But told me his eyes always glitter if they don’t.. Then it’s not the real Spike.

I take a look at the eyes closely. I don’t see the glitter, I see a strange electrical charge going through his eyes. Something strange is going on though. I smell heated metal like a generator… OH SHIT!!!

Spike's head folds in on itself turning into a large cannon firing at us. Tanya and I get out of the way but her team takes the full blast and when we look back all that is left is their chard bodies.

“Well….they’re not real.”

Spike's head clicks forming back to normal.

“Show us the location of Ruby.”

Hearing Ruby’s name. I stood fully back on my back legs. Grabbing my moon-touched sword. I get ready to strike.

“You’re kidding right?”

Spike asked with a laugh. With a quick movement, I toss the sword and the moon-touched spell causes the sword to glow smashing into the robotic body. It just bounces off like it didn’t even hard it. I was the sword that just bounced to the ground. So much for Moon-touched weapons. But I think I hit the right. The robot turns to look at me nope I missed. The Dragonslayer king is tossed away but the wizard lifts his head weakly. Sends a charge of magic into the spot I hit with my sword.

The Spike robot goes haywire and the wizard slowly passes away with a smile on his face. The robot falls apart and two monkeys come out of the body. These monkeys they’re monkeys the ponies had to deal with ages ago.

“Gizmonks…”

I glance over to Tanya and look back to the monkeys they changed big time from another painting I saw back at the castle. The male monkey tries to pick up my sword and he screams in pain. Oh, he is touched by the stars. I quickly charge to get my sword and slice into the monkey and he is pushed back. He groans a deep cut deep into his chest. If it wasn’t for his cybernetics he would have been dead.

“Gonk quickly let's go meet with the others at the heart of Pony land!!”

The two monkeys jump out of the window. I just turn around to get back to the keyhole.

“Rhyo thank you.”

I just turn to the human.

“I did nothing. I just climbed a wall and waited in a locked room for a while. So please do what you must. I am just here for the keyhole. Now if you excuse me.”

It didn’t take me long to get back to the hidden room and I slammed my arm into the lock hearing it click and unlock. What a waste of time this was. Two new judges of the past and now I know they’re looking for Ruby and the others. I close my eyes, falling asleep with my arm in the keyhole.
