Fallout Equestria: RainFall

Humans are a strange concept within Dream Valley. A place of many magical creatures including dragons. A kingdom of dragonslayers formed from an old human friend of the ponies. A knight who became friends with the little dragon Spike. When the judges did their job. He joined in on the hunt of the dragons. He became a threat, a fool. He became what no one ever should be. The one who destroys the dragon kingdom. A kingdom of dragons who fled to Equestria and still live there, forgetting their roots.

Rhoylite’s room within Dream Castle.

This is different from the home I used to have before I left on this journey. I am within a part of this castle which has bones of species like mine. I wonder if these are the missing links of my people. Well, honestly I don’t fully understand anyway. I gather all my armor and my moon-touched weapon. Sharpening bonehead the bone sword. I swing it in my lizard-like arms and my claws click on the ground.

I hear a knock on my door.

“Come in?”

The door opens up and Majesty comes in closing the door after she comes in. I look over to Majesty, a smile forming across my maw.

“Hello Majesty. It’s nice to finally meet the creator of Ruby. May I ask why are you coming here to see me?”

Majesty sits in one of the chairs within the room. I just swing the sword training with a fake foe in my mind. I don’t fully know what is about to happen. I have no worries in my mind or heart. I just focus on my want for mating.

“I heard you’re an active creature. The others told me you kept wanting to find a brothel. But that is not why I am here. I have come to ask you a question about Ruby.”

I lower my sword down sitting in the other chair. I don’t know why she has questions about the bug. I have almost spent a full year with her. I know she is very unsure of herself. She has caused a great deal of many issues thanks to waking the creature Omega.

“What do you wish to know?”

Majesty sighs, stroking her head with her hoof.

“I walked in on her writing a letter. It made me worry about her. A letter about what is going to happen to her. It seems she knows her fate and thinks many of her friends are going to turn on her. My question is, would you turn on her?”

A smile forms across my maw

“She is not my species or my family. She is just a friend. To my mind, other creatures are below us. But she risked so much for my species and my queen. But I will be blunt if I have to. To protect my species and my family. I would allow her to be put to death or I would do it myself.”

Majesty sighs.

“I see so many of her friends will turn on her. For their reasons. I wonder if there is a way to stop this fate.”

I shook my head.

“To my kind if so many want to kill you. You did too much to bring hope. Once you bring hope, destroy the natural order of life. The natural order is when the strong take over the weak. If the weak wish to die then we see it that way.”

I knew this wasn’t going to be easy for Majesty to understand. But I knew again it’s not as simple as she thinks. I look out the window of the castle. This land has strange weather issues. It normally starts raining then the sun comes up.

“The song brought life back to this land. But I notice the weather is not working correctly here. Is there a reason for this?”

Majesty glances outside and chuckles.

“Because of Flutter Valley and the Sunstone. The judges and I didn’t understand this land too well. I was just some mare with a chip on her shoulder. Who was jealous of the princess who gave everything to Equestria. I was tossed away because I dared cause an issue. My problem is when I attacked I allowed so much to happen. I stood there watching the great hero Megan die. When we destroyed the sunstone and now it caused the weather to destroy this land.”

I am now starting to understand more and more about this land. I don’t care about it. I stood up from the chair gathering what I needed. I take a deep breath sighing and letting it out. I glance over at Majesty.

“Majesty, can you please give me enough food for my journey? I got my armor and everything ready. I will be ready to fight whatever I find.”

Majesty gives a nod. Before she even speaks again I hear an alarm and hear a stone moving downstairs.

“Hmm, Gizmo found her lock. I will gather what you need. Do what you need before you head out.”

I gather everything to get ready for my journey. Majesty left the door open when she left. I hear buzzing turning to see Ruby hovering at the door.

“Something on your mind Ruby?”

The bug looks like she wishes to ask me something.

“Rhyolite. Will you do me a favor?”

I tilt my head to the side. Why would the bug ask me for a favor? I don’t care as much about the little bug as the others do. Most of us just call her a friend that is it. It’s going to be harder to understand what is going on.

“What do you need from me, Ruby?”

Ruby looks away letting out a sigh. She began to explain what she wanted and I just stood there confused about what she wanted. I close the door and after the talk, I head downstairs and head to my opened door. I was glancing at Ruby nodding to her.

“I will see you again Ruby. Be prepared for everything.”

I went through the door taking a torch from my bag and lighting it as the door behind me closed. I didn’t know what to think. I am locked somewhere and then the door is fully closed. I am now able to see what is happening.

Secret hallway Kingdom of the Dragon Slayers

I have no idea what I am in. I walk through a strange hall. I click on a wall and a door opens up in a throne room. I enter the room and I see many creatures known as humans. I look at many eyes staring at me.

“Um… question, I am searching for the heart of the Dream Valley mind leading me there?”

The king on the throne stood up and laughed.

“You must be one of Majesty’s guests welcome to my kingdom. I am Danel and you’re just in time. We are on the way to search for the location of the key. One of my wizards thinks it’s in this castle somewhere. Of course, what we are dealing with is a civil war. I hope you understand you may have to study the location yourself.”

Great I ended up in a crazy land and I have no idea what to think anymore. I rub my head trying so hard to understand what is going on. I take a deep breath looking over to the wizard he told me about.

“I see I will go with them.”

The history of the castle

It’s been a few hours since I followed the wizard to his study. He told me a story about the ponies of old and how they helped create this kingdom for the king. The king is a former knight turned dragon slayer. The judges hired him to kill the ponies of old including the old Spike. What is strange about the story I was told? No one saw Spike again. He went to another land with many dragon eggs.

“So the ponies helped you build this castle so then the king turned around and helped kill them in the name of the judges? Is the king a judge then of the stars?”

The wizard shrugs his shoulders.

“I wouldn’t know honestly. He is just a dragonslayer. It's pretty normal and honestly, it’s hard to know the path of the king. He has done things without even telling most of us or even his advisors so I don’t know fully what to tell you. I just know this castle was built around the keyhole to the heart. The location of this keyhole I have no idea. I doubt I could help you long because of the civil war brewing.”

We finally get to his study and there are so many books. The wizard locks the door, looks around, and then walks back to me. Nodding quickly using a spell to open a bookshelf wall and we both go inside with a few books. But right there in front of me is the lock to the heart of Dream Valley. I stare at it for a long time and then try to go to it. The wizard quickly grabs him, pulling me away.

“No, there is a curse on it. It’s been cursed even before this place was built. The curse is causing those who go near it to age till their death. The King doesn’t even know the door is here. My teacher found it years ago.”

He shows this by tossing a book into the doorway. The book begins turning older and older. Then turning into dust.

“I have been doing all I can to destroy the curse. All I know from what I read about old stories of this curse. The one who knew Megan back in the day. Needs to be killed so the curse of the judges can be removed. Half of this kingdom knew Megan back in the day.”

Being who I am. I am confused and before I can say anything there is a loud explosion outside the castle. It shakes the room and the wizard quickly opens the room to look out the window and quickly come back.

“Stay in here.”

I just stood there on my back legs, my claws clicking on the ground.

“You know I can fight right? I may look like a species that can’t fight but I can. So what is going on?”

The wizard sighs.

“No time to argue this is not your fight and the war started.”

He closes the shelf door. Before I could even get ready to leave. I hear screaming and swords smashing into each other. It sounds like the Civil War started sooner than I figured it would. I am stuck in a room and near a door I can’t get to. I need to find the one who knows Megan and kill them.

I sit down and lean on the wall, closing my eyes a smile forming across my raptor-like maw. This is like back home the screams and the sounds of the battle. It’s glory all I can think of is the blood flowing as I fall asleep at the sound of glory being made.
