Broken Bumper

The next day Bumper and Timidthy we’re woken up early,

“Wakey-Wakey!” Pinkie said shaking Bumper. He groaned,

“I don’t want to wake up.” Timidthy on the other hand had woken up with a jump at Pinkie’s loud voice. He rubbed his eye’s,

“Come on Bumper it’s better we have some much needed fun today.” Timidthy said. Bumper groaned he got up,

“I hate you.” He said. Timidthy rolled his eyes,

“I love you too.” He teased. Bumper’s eye’s immediately shot open,

“Stop putting words in my mouth!” He said. Pinkie giggled and skipped out of the room knowing the two would be down shortly.

Hours later Timidthy, Bumper and the mane seven we’re at Sugar Cube Corner. Timidthy had a double chocolate brownie while Bumper had a simple vanilla cupcake. Trying to keep his mind away from the nightmare he had last night. The mane seven, all but Rarity, had different cupcakes as well.

“I still don’t see why you won’t have any desserts.” Pinkie said, Rarity scoffed.

“Easy I’m on a pescetarian diet.” She said, Bumper raised an eyebrow in confusion. Timidthy nearly chocked on his brownie,

“What’s that?” Fluttershy asked. Rarity smiled,

“It’s an all fish diet.” She replied. Bumper blushed a deep red.

“Tha-That’s a thing?” Bumper asked, Rarity looked over to him.

“Why yes dearie though you seem much to young to start……I’m sorry to change the subject. But…..are you okay darling? Your face is positively flushed.” She asked, Bumper snapped out of his daze.

“Oh! Ye-Yeah I’m fine….good….great.” He said, Rainbow snorted.

“Really? You look as if you died and went to heaven; what’s up?” She asked, Bumper’s face grew redder. He opened his mouth to say something,

“Nothin' I just like fish.” Bumper said. He slightly winced as he felt a part in his brain nag him for lying about his obsession.

“Umm….your sure? You kinda seem….fidgety.” Fluttershy said, Bumper stammered slightly. As his brain was struggling to find a good excuse. Luckily Timidthy took this moment to change the subject,

“Hey umm….I was wondering what kind of…..vegetables you have in this world!” He said. To be honest Timidthy hated vegetables but he was willing to suffer for Bumper.

“Oh that’s easy there are carrots, brussel sprouts, eggplant…..” Applejack rabbled on, Timidthy mentally groaned. Bumper on the other had gave his friend a grateful look.

“Alright Applejack stop! I’m not gonna sit here and hear you talk about vegetables!” Rainbow said, Sunset glared at Timidthy.

“Funny Tim I seem to remember your mother mentioning that you hate vegetables.” Sunset said, Timidthy paled slightly.

“Oh really? I hadn’t realized…..so how was being the student of my mother? Ya know until you betrayed her left for this world like a sleazy coward. Came back and took Twilight’s element and soon you tried to invade Equestria with a teenage army. So…..are we done here?” He said getting slightly irritated with each sentence. Everyone went silent as Timidthy just sat with a victorious smile,

“Wow.” Pinkie finally said. Bumper smiled happily,

“Wow Tim if you keep that up your going to make an awesome ruler!” He said. Timidthy blushed and smiled sheepishly,

“I would not.” He muttered. Bumper rolled his eyes,

“Oh you would!” He said. Finally Rainbow spoke as she was chocking back laughs.

“Man Sunset you just got guilt tripped by an eight-

“Six.” Bumper interrupted, everyone went silent again. Finally Rainbow fell over laughing while clutching her sides. Sunset hit her forehead while Timidthy couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride. Bumper noticed,

“Oooooh! Somepony is getting more confident! Quick Rarity complement his hair!” He playfully teased. Rarity smiled,

“Well I have to say his hair is very neat especially for a boy his age.” She said. Timidthy giggled nervously as his face grew redder,

“Come on Tim you have to get used to compliments if your gonna take the throne.” Applejack said. Timidthy muttered something just before Pinkie spoke,

“Hey guys the movie is gonna start in ten minutes! We have to go!” She said.

“Oh right!” Sunset said and the mane seven, Bumper, and Timidthy got up. Everyone threw their desserts away, except for Timidthy of course. Bumper rolled his eyes,

“You can’t take that in the theater Tim. If you want to keep it eat it.” He said. Timidthy blushed as everyone looked at him, Bumper sighed and shook his head.

“Stuff it in your mouth.” He said simply, Timidthy opened his mouth to reply.

“Tim. This is your only chance to be a real kid without worrying some paparazzi will take pictures if you. Stuff. It. In. You. Mouth.” Bumper said, Timidthy did as he was told and stuffed the brownie in his mouth. The former alicorn winced expecting ridicule and humiliation. Bumper lightly pat him on the back,

“That’s a good prince.” He said as if talking to a dog. Bumper then grabbed Timidthy by the wrist band pulled him along.

It was late by the time the mane seven, Bumper, and Timidthy got to the school.

“So you, your brother, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shinning Armor, and Flurry Heart really have to worry about paparazzi taking pictures of you?” Pinkie asked and Timidthy nodded,

“Y-Yes. I….I always have to be careful.” He said.

“Yeah but don’t worry when Tim's original royal guards retire I’m gonna take their place. And I’ll protect him at all cost!” Bumper said causing everybody to laugh. The group then stopped at the portal,

“Well I guess this is goodbye.” Bumper said. Timidthy gulped,

“Yeah it was fun except for yesterday.” He said. Bumper nodded nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

“Seeya guys next time.” Sunset said, and the two walked towards the portal. But as soon as they made contact they we’re immediately repelled back. Both of them fell on their bottoms and yelped in pain.

“What happened!?” Twilight said, for a moment Sunset was confused until the realization by it her hard.

“Oh no!” She said, everyone looked at her.

“Wha-What is it?” Timidthy asked as he getting up,

“The portal has a time limit on it! I was so busy I hadn’t remembered!” Sunset said.

“So what does that mean!?” Bumper asked,

“It means you and Timidthy bare stuck here. For one month.” She replied. And everybody gasped while Timidthy passed out. As he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.
