Broken, But In The Best Way
Late evening was now slowly settling in as the town of Ponyville was quiet and peaceful, most of the houses only having one or two lights on still as Princess Twilight's castle was pretty much the same, with only a few of the rooms having lights still on however the place being far from empty right now. Twilight having invited all the others round to the castle for a dinner together since lately they had all been quite busy and this dinner was a chance for them all to spend some much needed time together.
As they all sat round the dinner table in the dining hall the mares talked to each other happily about things that had been going on in their lives lately, all enjoying this time that they had been able to have with one another. However as all the others seemed like they were having a good time together and engaging in lively conversations, Rarity seemed to be acting a little on the distant side, as she wasn't talking to any of the others really and was more or less just off in her own world as she pushed her unfinished food around her plate, letting out a deep sigh and now glancing up to look across the table. Seeing Rainbow Dash opposite her as the pegasus was happily talking and laughing with Pinkie, Rarity gazing to the cyan pegasus sitting across from her, and watched as she would chuckle every now and again at what Pinke was saying to her, feeling her heart beating a little faster Rarity let herself get lost in just the mere sight of that carefree pegasus that hadn't seemed to notice her staring just yet.
Fluttetshy was sitting next to Rairty as she had been casually talking to Applejack for most of the evening, but had now stopped for a moment to continue eating her dinner, looking to the unicorn sitting beside her and wondering if she was okay as she hadn't really seen her talking to any of them throughout this whole dinner, plus she did seem like she was awfully distracted at the moment.
Now seeming a little concerned as she looked to Rarity's plate and saw that she had hardly eaten any of her dinner, reaching a hoof over to the unicorn as she caught her attention and spoke to her in a caring tone, "Are you okay Rarity? You haven't eaten much of your dinner," she asked, Rarity now looking back to her having been dragged out of her thoughts, and shook her head as she tried to not focus on what was on her mind right now.
"Oh yes I'm fine Fluttershy, just not all that hungry as all," Rarity stated with a nervous smile, pushing her thoughts to the back of her mind right now as she looked to Fluttershy, but would still look away every now and again to steal another glance at Rainbow Dash, feeling her heart still beating fast as she wondered just how much longer she could last like this.
Fluttershy didn't seem all that convinced as she raised her eyebrow to the way that Rarity was now looking down to her food, and continuing to push it around her plate, clearly seeing that there was something very off with the unicorn tonight, and wondering if she should push her for more of an explanation as to why she wasn't up to eating anything right now.
"You're not sick or anything are you?" the pegasus asked, hoping that not being hungry was all it was, but she could see that Rarity wasn't telling her what she was really feeling right now.
"No, I'm okay really, it's nothing for you to worry yourself about honestly," Rarity tried to convince Fluttershy that she was fine, thinking of now forcing herself to eat more of her dinner so that the pegasus sitting beside her wouldn't be so worried anymore, but truly just not feeling hungry right now as there was something very different bothering her at the moment.
"Rarity if you're not feeling well you really shouldn't push yourself," Twilight now chimed in as she had also noticed that Rairty hadn't eaten much, and was being quite distant tonight, while the other's attention was also drawn onto the pure white unicorn as well now, as they had stopped talking for a moment and were all just staring to Rarity with slightly concerned expressions.
"I know, but really I'm fine Twilight," Rarity stated nervously her eyes now shifting as she had to try and convince all of them that she was doing okay, when it was already pretty obvious to all the others that she wasn't. Trying to search her mind for an excuse, while right now it was more or less just stuck on one thing in particular.
"Are you sure?" Twilight asked as her and all the others didn't seem convinced in the least, in fact Rarity's nervous replies were just causing them to become more suspicious and worried about her right now, clearly knowing that she wasn't telling them how she was really feeling at the moment.
"Yes, yes I'm..." Rarity was going to continue to deny that something was wrong, and say that she was 'Fine' but paused as she looked around at all the others, Rainbow Dash's bright magenta eyes catching her sapphire ones as she could see the cyan pegasus giving her a look of understanding and signally for her to just drop the act,
'You can always see right through me, can't you Dash?' Rarity thought now as she just sighed and looked down to her plate of unfinished food, "You know maybe I'm not feeling all that well after all, I think I'll just head home. Thank you for the lovely meal Twilight, and sorry to cut it short like this," she now nervously stated standing up from her chair and smiling to Twilight, before she then gave Rainbow a secret look, Dash already knowing what the unicorn was silently asking her for right now.
"It's no problem really, are you sure you don't want any of us to walk you home?" Twilight asked, looking worried as she and the others really wondered if Rarity was okay, although she didn't seem all that unwell it was easy to see that there was definitely someting bothering her, and keeping her mind preoccupied at this moment in time.
"Ah no it's fine, I'll be alright- Rarity denied the others help as she turned to start walking away from the table now, but at the same time was giving a signalling look to Rainbow Dash and the pegasus quickly catching on to it as she now cut Rarity off and stood up from her seat as well.
"I'll go with you Rarity," Rainbow stated as the others all looked to her now, while the cyan pegasus just made her way over to Raity and secretly smiled to her for a moment.
"Are you sure Rainbow Dash? I mean you don't have to- Rarity started to protest a little, as she knew Rainbow had caught onto the message she had just given her, but still had to play the stubborn card as to not seem suspicious to the others right now, although she felt like just saying yes right away, and agreeing to the pegasus's offer almost immediately.
"It's not a problem, besides I'm pretty tired from doing weather patrol today anyway, so I think I better head home as well," Rainbow explained as she smiled to Rarity and secretly winked to her, causing the unicorn to blush slightly before the two of them said 'Goodbye' to all the others and soon left out the door to make their way to Rarity's home.
"You think Rarity will be okay?" Fluttershy asked as she was obviously still a little worried for the unicorn that had just left, wondering if maybe she should have gone and taken her home along with Rainbow Dash.
"Don't worry Fluttershy, am sure Rarity's just feeling a little under the weather. She'll be fine after a goodnight's rest," Applejack reassured Fluttershy with a smile as she reached her hoof over and rested it on the pegasus's shoulder in a comforting mannner, while Fluttershy just now nodded slightly, still feeling unsure but tried to not think about it too much.
The others now all falling back into casual conversations, while Twilight seemed to be keeping quiet for some reason, looking back to the direction where she watched Rainbow Dash and Rarity leave and thought for a few moments, something seeming to not be sitting right with her as she went over a couple of things inside her mind.
Noticing her mentor's silence Starlight now looked to the alicorn sitting next to her and wondered if she was okay, looking to her a little concerned, before she spoke up and caught her attention, "Twilight, is there something wrong?" she asked causing Twilight to lift her head a little and look back to her, while the others had heard Starlight's question and were now all looking to Twilight as well, seeing that there was clearly something bothering her now and wondering what it was.
"Ah no...it's just, well doesn't this all seem a little weird?" Twilight asked as she now looked to Starlight and all the others with a slightly nervous expression, referring to what had just happened as she gestured to the door that Rarity and Rainbow Dash had just walked out of.
"Weird how?" Starlight asked as she and the others just all looked to each other for a moment, unsure of what Twilight meant, as they now all looked back to the alicorn again, and waited for her to go into more detail with what she was saying right now.
"Well haven't Rarity and Rainbow Dash been spending a lot of time together lately?" Twilight asked as she noticed that Rarity and Dash were spending more time together than normal a little while ago, not thinking anything of it at first, but now since they seemed to be going off together more regularly, it caused her to become a little sceptical.
"Now that ya mention it, I have seen Rainbow Dash going over to Rarity's a lot lately, especially in the evening," Applejack stated as she thought back and now did realize that she had seen Dash making her way to Rarity's a lot, unsure of what the reason was, and always thinking it was a little strange for the cyan pegasus to be going over there so much.
"Haven't they both been avoiding a lot of our get together's as well?" Fluttershy asked as she remembered the times that she and the others had asked Rainbow Dash or Rarity to come and spend some time with them, and they would either both refuse, or one would refuse and the other would have some sort of almost convenient reason to not come at the last minute as well.
"Yeah I actually wasn't sure if they were both going to be coming to this dinner or not eariler because of that," Twilight agreed with a nod as it seemed like the others had been noticing just how much time Rarity and Rainbow had been spending together as of lately as well. All of them now seeming a little suspicious of just what exactly was going on with the two of their friends.
"Don't forget the other week when we were helping Rarity with a load of orders that she had, once we were all done and going to head home she asked Rainbow Dash if she could stay for a little longer," Pinkie now chimed in as well as she remembered what had happened that evening not too long ago, and never did find out just why Rarity had asked Dash to stay for longer that night, when all the rest of them just went home.
"I thought that was a little strange as well back then," Twilight nodded in agreememt as she thought about that evening as being one of the first times that she started to suspect that something was a little off with both Rarity and Rainbow Dash, only now with all the sneaking around that those two were doing lately it was causing for her suspicions to raise slightly.
"So what are we saying here? Do you think there's something going on between them that they aren't telling us?" Starlight asked looking at all the others as they now all thought for a moment none of them speaking for a little while as silence had fallen on them all now.
"Well that's what it seems like, however I'm not sure what they could be hiding from us, I mean it's not like Rarity and Rainbow Dash have that much in common so the fact that they just might be doing something behind our backs is a little hard to really think about," Twilight thought out loud as it did seem like Rainbow and Rarity were hiding something from all of them, but it was a little bit of a mystery of what that might just be considering the fact that the two mares never really spent much time together until recently.
"Do you think we should ask them about it?" Starlight asked, as all the others now looked back to her again.
"Maybe...I mean maybe this is none of our business, but then again why would they feel the need to keep something from us?" Twilight wondered as she and all the others thought that simply asking Rainbow and Rarity about what might just be going on with them wouldn't be all that harmful after all it definitely did seem like this 'thing', whatever it may be had been going for quite a while now, the only question was what was the reason for it being kept as a sceret from them all?
....
"Well that was reckless of you now wasn't it Rares?" Rainbow asked as she and Rarity had made their way to the Carousel Boutique and were now up in Rarity's bedroom. Rarity laying on her bed as she sighed deeply, while Rainbow stood off to the side of the room smirking slightly to the unicorn.
"You know the whole part of this secret relationship between us is that it's kept as a secret right?" Rainbow went on as Rarity didn't reply, the unicorn just burying her face into her pillow as she felt embarrassed right now for leaving all their friends and cutting their dinner short just so she could spend more time with Rainbow Dash, the pegasus having been the only thing on her mind for what felt like so long now.
"But didn't we talk about telling them all about us soon?" Rarity mumbled out after a long pause, slightly lifting her head up from the pillow as she looked back to Dash now, a slight blush staining her cheeks as she felt foolish for acting the way she had, she should be happy to spend some time with all their friends, and not be focusing on the cyan pegasus that had been sitting across from her all evening.
"Well yeah, but how do you expect us to tell them about us if you keeping cutting the time with have with them all short? Not to mention the many times we've both backed out of hanging out with them because you keep asking me to come round to yours," Rainbow pointed out as she she now raised her eyebrow to Rarity, and came walking up to the bed, sighing to the unicorn slightly, as Rarity just glanced to her out of the corner of her eye.
"You know you could always just say 'no' to me," Rarity stated as she now sat up slowly on her bed, and glanced away from Dash for a moment.
"But that would be cruel of me, and besides..." Dash now paused as she came to stand beside the bed, leaning into Rarity as she rested her forehead against the unicorn's and lowered her voice a little, "...how could I resist such a cute unicorn asking me to come round to her house for the night?" the pegasus asked as she now looked to Rarity with an alluring stare, smiling as she looked deeply into the other mare's eyes. Rarity's eyes widening as she blushed a deep red and could feel her heart beginning to race inside her chest, wanting to just melt against Rainbow but held herself back as she trembled slightly and turned her head away from Dash again.
"Do you think they caught on to anything?" Rarity spoke in a quiet voice as she nervously bit her bottom lip, feeling herself shaking against Dash, 'She's too close right now...I...I'm going to give into her at this point,' she thought trying her best to stop herself from caving but clearly she was fighting an already losing battle, as she couldn't help but look at Rainbow with pleading eyes.
"Nah, I think we're safe for now,"
Rainbow simply stated as she now winked to Rarity, causing the unicorn's blush to deepen as she couldn't stop herself from leaning in, sighing heavily as she now closed her eyes and was clearly asking the other mare to kiss her. Rainbow just smiling as she slowly leaned in a little more and soon closed the tiny gap that was between them, pressing her lips to Rarity's as she almost immediately slipped her tongue in. The unicorn letting a small whimper escape her as she felt like reaching out her hoof and pulling the pegasus on top of her, but instead just sat still and let Rainbow make her head spin with her sweet kisses, moaning every so often, as she let herself melt against Dash, choosing not to fight it any longer.
However their deep kiss didn't last all that long as their lips soon parted and although Rainbow could see that Rarity clearly wanted more, she just stood back and smiled slightly to the unicorn, watching as she opened her sapphire eyes again, and now looked back to her with a begging expression on her face.
"Dash..."
She whsipered out as she now gazed to Dash pleading with her eyes as she couldn't deny how much she wanted this right now, how much she had been wanting it all day, wanting the pegasus to take control and dominate her like she always did, but Dash just continued to stand there, knowing exactly what Rarity wanted, and only stalling because she loved seeing that begging expression of her's.
"What? You know how this goes by now, don't you?" Rainbow asked with a smirk as she took a few more steps back, and just waited for Rarity to do as she pretty much always did and beg her for what she wanted instead.
Rarity knew that Rainbow wasn't going to do anything until she begged her to, and so she just swallowed slowly and now bit her bottom lip again, keeping her pleading eyes on Dash as she now slowly lifted up her rear, raising her waist off the bed and holding it up as high as it would go, her rump shaking in the air a little as she now moved her tail aside as she presented herself to the other mare, already panting heavily as she didn't care how embarrassing this was for her, she was willing to do it if it was for Dash.
"H-hurry...Dash," the trembling unicorn whsipered as she begged for the pegasus to stop stalling and just get on with it, but knew by now that it would take more than just this to get what she really wanted from the other mare.
"Hurry and do what? I won't know unless you tell me Rares,"
Rainbow smiled as she just continued to wait, knowing that she was near enough torturing Rarity at this point, making her beg for exactly what she wanted, but she loved hearing that cute begging voice that only she knew about so much, that she just couldn't help herself, she always loved to hear those slight whimpers as the unicorn would beg her to 'stop this and just take her already'.
"D-Dash...don't make me beg..."
Rarity pleaded as she now had slight tears in her eyes, feeling her desires raging inside her core as she kept her tail out of the way of her sex, showing off her aroused and dripping slit to the other mare, her body desperately wanting attention as this waiting was killing her right now.
But Rainbow didn't reply as she just stood still and didn't look like she was going to make any movements anytime soon, as although she herself wanted to just ravish the unicorn's beautiful body, and cause her to moan and cry out her name, she continued to hold herself back as she was certain that she wasn't going to do anything until Rarity finally begged her for it.
And now it seemed that it had all gotten to Rarity as she soon caved and raised her hips a little higher, looking back to Rainbow with teary, begging eyes and a quivering bottom lip, her heart beating fast inside her chest and her head spinning, "Dash please...lick me..." she now finally pleaded as she hoped that this would be enough for the pegasus.
And luckily for her it was, as Rainbow now licked her lips and slowly walked up to Rarity, looking to the other mare's dripping slit and smiling, taking in the unicorn's sweet scent, before she leaned in and then halted for a moment admiring the sight of her lover's sex, "You sure are soaked, just how long have you been like this?" she asked in a seductive tone, not doing anything until she heard Rarity's reply.
"I...I can't help it..."
Rarity whispered out as even just feeling Dash's warm breath on her sex made her shiver all over, holding back moans as she now buried her head into the bedsheets, the next minute crying out loudly as she now felt the pegasus's hot tongue licking just the outside of her sex, wanting her to do so much more, but knew how much Rainbow loved to tease her.

'Dash is right I really am broken...but if it's her than...I guess I don't mind being broken,' Rarity thought as she now lay recovering, feeling her heart wildly beating inside her chest, while she tried to get her breathing back to normal, widening her eyes a moment later as she felt Rainbow leaning over her again, looking to the pegasus before she was flipped over onto her back, and Dash was now laying on top of her, smiling down to her and giving her a gentle peck on the forehead as she waited for the unicorn to recover and come down from her high.
'I love you Dash...I love you so much,' Rarity felt like saying, but just continued to pant, slowly going back to breathing normally again as, she soon sighed deeply and gazed into Dash's eyes, smiling back to her now as her heart was still racing inside her chest, wrapping her forelegs around Dash's neck and holding her close to her, nuzzling into her neck and causing the pegasus to chuckle slightly in response.
"Are you going to stay over tonight?" Rarity asked as she knew that Dash didn't always stay for the whole night, and wanted her to stay with her this time, not wanting to let the pegasus go just yet.
"Well that depends, do you want me to stay?" Rainbow asked with a smile as she already knew what the other mare's answer was going to be.
"Of course I do Dash!"
Rarity smiled brightly as she nodded, and would gladly have Rainbow staying round at her home every night, but knew that that would be asking for a bit too much, and so settling for just tonight for now instead as she hugged Dash tightly, and caused her to chuckle again.
"You tired now, or do you wanna go for round two?"
Rainbow asked with a seductive smile as she now rested her forehead against Rarity's, loving the way that the unicorn blushed deeply in return, before she just replied with a nervous nod, and glanced away from Dash slightly, only for her eyes to go wide as the pegasus brought her into a deep kiss.
The kiss becoming more passionate and then soon ending as their lips parted and Rainbow began to travel down to Rarity's neck, laying light kisses here and there, as she would softly bite but was careful to not leave any marks on the unicorn's body, while Rarity just lay her head back on the pillow and panted heavily, moaning in return as she let herself melt against Dash and sighed a little.
"Dash...mmm...I love you Dash..." Rarity whispered out, being too lost in her own pleasure and not realizing that she had just said that out loud until she felt Rainbow stop what she was doing and looked to her now with a questioning expression.
"What did you just say Rares?" Rainbow asked as she now seemed taken aback, not knowing how to react as she just waited for Rarity's reply.
"I-I...umm..."
Rarity just stuttered a little as all words had left her now, not knowing what to say as she only now just realized that she had said what her true feelings were out loud, knowing she should have stopped herself, and shouldn't have let herself melt so much, nervously looking to Dash as she dreaded how the pegasus would reply to her sudden confession.
"Hey you know I actually need to be up early in the morning, so I best be off now sorry," Rainbow nervously said in a rush as she quickly climbed off Rarity and turned, heading for the door to make a swift escape from this situation.
"Wait Dash!"
Rarity called after Dash and tried to stop her from leaving, but Rainbow had already left out the door, and would now no doubt be heading back to her own home to collect herself and try and get her head around what had just happened and what Rarity had just said to her. While Rarity now sat up in her bed and looked to her wide open door that Rainbow had just left out of, sighing deeply as she cursed herself and hated herself for what she had just done.
"I'm such an idiot,"
She whispered out to her empty bedroom and wanted to go back a few moments in time and take back what she had just said, wishing that she had just kept her mouth shut and not told Dash how she really felt, feeling her heart ache and her chest hurt as she gritted her teeth and felt like crying, laying back down on her bed, burying her head into her pillow and hoping that she could wake up the next morning, thinking of all of this as just a bad dream, even though she knew it was far from that in reality.

I'll Still Keep Loving You
As the bright sun rose the next morning Rarity awoke all alone in her bed, having cried herself to sleep last night and still unsure of how she was even able to get any rest at all. But for now just deciding to move on and trying to think what she could do in order to make things right with Rainbow Dash, as although she knew that the pegasus probably wouldn't want to talk to her, she thought of just maybe trying at least. But then again she wasn't sure what she'd say, after all telling Rainbow that she didn't mean it would be lying and she didn't want to do that, and yet saying the truth didn't seem like it would go all that well either really, so it seemed like she was stuck and would make things worse no matter what she did.
Meanwhile Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie were all making their way to Rarity's home now as last night all of them (along with Starlight and Twilight) had decided to talk with Rarity and hopefully with Rainbow Dash as well if they got the chance to that is. All three of the them walking through the town as they all wondered just how this would all go, not wanting to hassle Rarity and Rainbow at all, but also wanting to know just what kind of secret they would be hiding from them, and why. Wanting to let them both know that they could tell them anything no matter what it may be.
"So if Rarity and Rainbow Dash really are keeping something from us all, what do you think it could be?" Pinkie asked as she looked to the other two with a questioning gaze, hoping that going to Rarity's like this would give them some answers at least as to what exactly might be going on.
"Am not sure, like Twilight said they don't have much in common so it's hard to imagine just what they would be doing behind our backs, and why they would be hiding it from us like this," Applejack stated as she couldn't really see Rainbow and Rarity just hanging out more because they were friends, maybe they had found a hobby that they both like and started to do that together, but that didn't make sense as to why they would try so hard to keep it a secret from them all.
"Maybe they're planning a celebration for us all and they just don't want to ruin the surprise," Pinkie suggested as she smiled now hoping that the secret Rarity and Rainbow Dash were keeping from them was something completely harmless and wasn't all that worth worrying about, but at the same time worrying that it was something serious considering the fact that they had been seeming to be keeping secret for quite a while now.
"I really doubt that, besides just what is there to celebrate?" Applejack shot down that idea almost instandly, looking like she had more to say on the matter, but had now stopped and was standing still as her eyes widened, and she was looking forward with a slightly startled look on her face now.
"What is it Applejack?"
Fluttershy asked as her and Pinkie had noticed that the farm pony had stopped now, and looked a little surprised over something, then both of them stopping as well and looking to where Applejack's gaze was directed at and them too looking taken aback as they were near to Rarity's home and saw the pure white unicorn standing in front of her house right now, but for some reason she looked...upset?
The three all looking to each other for a moment, as they could definitely see that there was something wrong with Rarity as they watched her gaze at the ground and sigh, before she started to walk off, and they now all nodded to one another and quickly walked over to the unicorn calling out her name and stopping her in her tracks.
"Mornin' Rarity!"
Applejack called to Rarity as she and the other two now came walking up to the unicorn and caused her to stop and look back to them, all of them seeming taken aback upon seeing the unicorn up close as they could see obvious dark circles under her eyes which also looked very bloodshot almost like she had spent half the night crying or something.
"Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, what are you three all doing here?" Rarity asked as she seemed surprised to see the three other poines here together at her front door step, but soon composed herself as she smiled to her friends and greeted them all kindly a moment later.
"Ah...we came here to talk to you actually," Applejack stated still feeling a little concerned over the fact that Rarity definitely didn't seem like herself right now, and although she was smiling, it was clearly just a forced smile.
"Have you seen Rainbow Dash?" Pinkie asked as she and Fluttershy were also still worried over that depressed expression that Rarity had just had on her face a moment ago, and now were thinking that something had happened that they didn't know about.
"Ah no, I haven't...she walked me home last night, I thanked her for it and then she left and I haven't seen her since," Rarity lied as she now tried to act natural, her heart aching as she thought about Rainbow Dash and what had happened between them last night, the others not seeming all that convinced as they could see that although Rarity was talking in a normal tone the troubling expression on her face told another story.
"Did something happen between you two last night?" Fluttershy asked as she and the other two could clearly see that there was more to the story than what Rarity had just said, getting the feeling that they really should be worried now.
"You two didn't have a fight did you?" Pinkie asked looking worried now, causing Rarity to widen her eyes slightly before she quickly composed herself and shook her head with a smile.
"Oh no, nothing like that happened," Rarity simply stated hoping that the others would not catch onto the fact that her voice was slightly changing now, as she felt like shaking, knowing that she wasn't ready to be talking about Rainbow Dash like this yet, she was trembling on the inside and was trying to stop herself from breaking down right here.
However the other three not seeming convinced at all as they all looked to each other again, before looking back to Rarity and knowing that something was defintely wrong with her, and it certainly did seem like it had something to do with Rainbow Dash despite what the unicorn had told them.
"Rarity is there something going on with you and Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy now asked as she looked to the unicorn with an understanding expression and was hoping that Rarity wouldn't keep lying to them for too much longer.
"Just what do you mean?"
Rarity simply just asked back her smile now turning into a nervous one as she knew that the other three didn't believe her lies for one minute and could easily see that she was just acting like she was fine right now, 'Did they catch on?' she wondered thinking of how she could come up with a way to cover things up between her and Rainbow Dash, but then just sighing as she didn't even know if there would be a point to hiding their secret anymore after what had happened last night.
"Well it's just that you and Rainbow have been spending a lot of time together lately, and we were just wondering what the reason behind it was," Applejack explained as she knew that they were supposed to wait for Twilight and Starlight before they asked this question, but with the way that Rarity had been acting they figured that the quicker they got some answers the better, since it defintely seemed like something serious had now happened between Rainbow and Rarity.
Rarity's eyes widened for a moment as she now knew that the others had been suspicious about her and Rainbow Dash, and was going to out-right deny anything going on between them at all, but then stopping herself as she thought about last night again, 'Is there really any point to hide it anymore if I just ruined everything between us with what I said last night?' she questioned before she just sighed and looked back to the others with a smile again.
"No, there's nothing going on between us, I said something to her last night that I really shouldn't have, and made her angry, so I'm sure she hates me right now," she stated with a smile that looked so fake and forced that they could all see the suffering expression that was hiding behind it, tears filling Rarity's eyes now as just stood thinking about Rainbow Dash, her heart aching, knowing that she wouldn't be able to face the pegasus again after saying those things to her last night.
The others all looked to each other again as they could easily see through Rarity's mask, but wondered what she had meant by what she had just said to them, questioning now if Rainbow Dash really had had some sort of fight with the unicorn last night as what Rarity had said definitely made them all feel like that is exactly or at least close to what had happened between them.
....
At the same time in another part of the town Twilight and Starlight had just left the castle, leaving Spike on his own for a bit, while they both were setting off to go meet up with all the others in front of Rarity's house so that they could first talk to Rarity, and then hopefully see if they could talk to Rainbow Dash afterwards as well.
"You don't think this secret that Rarity and Rainbow Dash are keeping from us is all that serious right?" Starlight asked her mentor as she honestly didn't know what to think when it came to just what kind of secret that the two of their friends would be hiding from them, and for this long too.
"I'm not sure, I mean I wouldn't think it would be all that serious considering..." Twillight paused as something caught her eye, stopping and looking over across the town as she seemed to be looking a little concerned now.
"Considering what?"
Starlight asked as she stopped as well and looked back to her mentor, noticing that she was looking off somewhere else and then following her gaze as her eyes widened and she was now surprised to see Rainbow Dash sitting alone by herself on the grass, as she was looking a little down on herself at the moment.
Starlight and Twilight looking to each other for a moment, before threy both decided to go over and talk with the cyan pegasus as they slowly now came walking up to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow hearing their hoofsteps and instandly looking up now as she glanced to her two friends both of them giving her a concerned expression while the pegasus just sighed and now turned to face the other two.
Rainbow forcing a smile as she greeted the other two kindly, causing them both to look at each other again for a moment, before they looked back to the pegasus again, "Is there something wrong Rainbow Dash? Just now you looked like something was troubling you," Twilight asked as niether she nor Stralight were believing Rainbow's fake smile for a moment, as they could both tell that something was bothering her right now and she was just hiding it from them.
"No there's nothing wrong, I was just thinking about something," Rainbow simply answered still smiling as she hoped it was enough to convince the other two a little, or just enough so that they wouldn't ask their question again.
Twilight and Starlight could easily tell that Rainbow was lying to them but they decided not to push it, and cause things to become uncomfortable for them all. Twilight now just sighing a little as she looked to the way that Rainbow was slightly turning away from them almost seeming that she really didn't want to be here talking to them right now, and getting the feeling that she may try and make an escape soon if they asked her anymore questions that she obviously wasn't up for answering at the moment.
"Rainbow can I ask you something? It has to do with you and Rarity," Twilight asked now as she figured she might as well get right to the point since she was able to talk to Rainbow now, and she wasn't exactly sure how long the pegasus would be willing to stay here and talk to them, before she would probably start making a run for it in order to get out of this situation.
Rainbow looked surprised now as her eyes widened, before she just turned away and spoke in a low voice, "I don't want to talk about her right now," she stated obviously showing that she didn't want to be a part of this converstaion anymore, causing Twilight and Stralight to seem a little more concerned as they guessed that something had had between Rainbow and Rarity last night since Dash did look like she was somehow...angry right now.
"Why not, did something happen between you two?" Starlight asked hoping that they could find a way to talk to Rainbow about this, but it seemed like she just wasn't having any of it at the moment.
"No nothing happened, and I already said that I don't want to talk about her, so just leave me alone," Rainbow stated in a slightly raised tone, before she quickly turned and took off into the air, leaving the other two just standing there watching her go.
"Wait Rainbow Dash!"
Twilight called after the pegasus as she thought about flying after her and trying to catch her up, but instead just watching her disappear out of sight as it was obvious that she wouldn't be able to talk to Rainbow even if she was able to catch up with her. Sighing heavily now as she looked back to Starlight and they both glanced to the direction that Rainbow had flew off in, wondering just what had caused the pegasus to seem to not want anything to do with Rarity anymore.

Twilight and Starlight decided to leave Rainbow Dash alone for now, and go and see Rarity instead, guessing that the others would be with her by now, and hopefully, maybe they would all have better luck with talking to Rarity than they just did with Rainbow. Twilight and Starlight making their way to Rarity's house as they soon saw Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie all standing in front of Rarity's home as they were talking with Rarity. Twilight now walking over and calling to the others as Starlight followed close behind her.
"Are you two here to talk to me as well?" Rarity asked as she greeted and smiled to Twilight and Starlight, while the two just looked to each other, then both of them greeting Rarity back, looking suspicious about the smiling expression that Rarity had and could tell that it was all just forced just like Rainbow's had been.
"Umm...yeah kinda, did Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie already talk with you?"
Starlight asked as she and Twilight glanced slightly to Applejack and the other two, wondering if they had asked Rarity about what was going on with her and Rainbow Dash yet, Rarity going silent for a moment as she turned away, wondering if she should really bother with keeping the secret up anymore, after all it's not like there would be much to hide if Rainbow didn't want to speak to her ever again now.
"Yeah we asked her what the reason was for her spending so much time with Rainbow Dash lately, and if there was anything going on between them and Rarity just answered by saying, 'No, there's nothing going on between us, I said something to her last night that I really shouldn't have, and made her angry, so I'm sure she hates me right now'," Pinkie explained what Twilight and Starlight had missed, only to cause them to become more confused now as both of them looked to each other, before looking back to Pinkie again.
"And just what did she mean by that?" Twilight asked glancing to Rarity, but the unicorn just continued to sit there with her eyes cast-down to the ground and her lips kept shut, seeming just like how Rainbow Dash was as the Princess only hoped that Rarity wouldn't think of making an escape for it like Rainbow had.
"That's what we were just trying to figure out," Applejack stated as it was obvious that Rarity hadn't explained what she had meant to them yet, and now it didn't seem like she was going to, sitting turned away from the rest of the group as they all now huddled together for a moment speaking in whispers, wondering what they should do now.
"Did Rarity tell you all anything more?"
Starlight asked as they all glanced over to Rarity slightly and could see that right now it was like she was in a world of her own and clearly didn't seem like she was going to talk to them anymore at the moment, all of them only hoping that there was some way they could reach out to her.
"Nothing more than what Pinkie said," Applejack simply answered, not knowing how they were going to get to the bottom of all this if this was all that Rarity was going to say, glancing over to the unicorn as she wanted to help her and know what had caused her to become so distant but not being able to know that without Rarity herself telling them what had happened.
"We saw Rainbow Dash on our way over here, and she didn't seem to want to talk very much either, in fact it seemed like she didn't want anything to do with Rarity at all," Twilight explained wanting to talk to Rainbow as well, but for now it would be best just to talk with Rarity first since it didn't yet seem like she was going to try and escape like Dash had.
"Just what the hay is going on here? First they were sneaking around and now they don't seem to even want to be around each other anymore?" Applejack questioned as she raised her voice a little so that it was a slightly louder than a whisper now, not understanding why there was a sudden change in Rarity and Rainbow's behaviour towards each other, and the others didn't seem to get it at all either.
"I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it has something to do with last night," Twilight stated as it seemed like whatever had happened last night was what caused Rarity and Rainbow to now be acting so distant and also might explain why they didn't want to talk about what had been going on with them all this time.
"So what are we supposed to do? We can't just leave them like this right?" Starlight asked as they all now looked to one another, wondering how they were going to go about this, after all it definitely seemed like Rarity and Rainbow needed their help, but then how would they be able to help them if they weren't able to find out what had happened between them in order for them to be acting the way that they both were?
All of them thinking for a few moments about what they could do to hopefully be of help to their two friends, coming up with nothing at first, until Twilight then got an idea and sighed slightly, thinking that maybe being direct about this was the best way for them. After all just taking things slow obviously wasn't going to get them anywhere, so it seemed like the best option was to be forward about all this, and just ask Rarity exactly what they had been wanting to ask her and Rainbow since they all realized that something was off with them both.
Twilight quickly explaining her idea to the others, and all of them soon quickly agreeing to it being their best cause of action right now since they didn't have many other options really, and decided to give Twilight's idea a go, and see if it would get them any closer to the truth of what had really been going on with Rarity and Rainbow Dash and what had happened between them last night.
The others now all nodding to Twilight, before she nodded back to them all, and now turned round and walked up to Rarity, catching her attention and snapping her out of her own mind. The unicorn now looking back to the Princess as she forced another smile, only causing Twilight to seem concerned again, before she just shook her head and now looked to Rarity with a confident expression on her face.
"Rarity what happened between you and Rainbow Dash last night?" Twilight asked already getting the feeling that she knew exactly what Rarity's answer was going to be.
"I already told Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie that nothing happened- Rarity started to answer, but Twilight already knowing that that was going to be her reply and so quickly cut her off before she could say anymore.
"We know what you said, but that's not the whole story is it? You said you had said something to Rainbow Dash that made her angry, but you didn't tell us what that was, and although you keep saying that nothing is going on between you, it definitely seems like there is," Twilight explained as she didn't want to keep being lied to anymore, something was definitely going on here and she wasn't just going to let Rainbow and Rarity go through this alone, when she knew that her and the others could possibly help them.
Rarity now seeming a little taken aback, but didn't reply at all as she just glanced away from Twiligt again, and sighed a little, considering just coming clean about everything now as she saw no reason to keep it all hidden still, she could see that Twilight and the others wanted to help, but really doubting that they could at this point.
"Please Rarity we want to help you and Rainbow Dash, but we can't do that if you don't let us lend you and hoof and tell us just what has happened with you both," Twilight now gave Rarity an understanding look as she wanted her to know that they didn't want to pressure her into telling them, but at the same time they also wanted to be of help in any way that they could, they really didn't like seeing their two friends suffering like this after all.
Rarity just staying silent for a moment as she now sat down on the ground and looked to her hooves, letting another heavy sigh leave her lips as she might as well tell the others what had really been going on, she had wanted to tell them along with Rainbow Dash, but after all that had happened last night it didn't seem like that was going to happen now. Thinking over what she was going to say for a minute or two, before she now looked back to all the others and saw them all waiting for her response all of them having an understanding expression on their faces as they wanted Rarity to know that they were here for her, and she didn't need to hide and keep it all to herself anymore.
Now taking a deep breath, before she finally answered, "Well there's not that much to tell now that I've gone and ruined everything we once had but..." pausing with a slight grit of her teeth, and then continuing on with her explanation,
"It was months ago now, one evening I had asked Rainbow Dash to be my model for a little while, turns out that I ended up keeping her at my home for much longer than I should have, so it's no surprise that she got bored, and since I wasn't listening to her endless complaints anymore she started to tease me. It was nothing too much just a few touches with her wing, and she would whisper into my ear a lot, but for some reason I couldn't stop myself from reacting to everything she did, my whole body would shake just from her light touches. And because I was letting her see such an embarrassing side to me I guess Dash wanted to see more. And so with one thing leading to another we ended up having sex for the first time that night," Rarity stopped for a moment as she looked to all the others and smiled a little at their surprised expressions, 'So looks like they hadn't figured it out after all,' she thought before she simply continued on with telling the others everything that had been going on with Rainbow Dash and herself all this time.
"Anyway since then neither Dash nor I wanted it to just be that one night, so we both decided to keep doing it, meanwhile also agreeing that we would keep it as a secret from all of you. And from there I kept asking Dash to come and stay round at my house for the night, and because she never seemed to refuse me we always would make up excuses for why we couldn't meet up with you all, when really it was just me wanting to spend more time alone with Dash. It was selfish of me, and I know we should have told you all about this sooner but...I guess we just could never find the right time," Rarity now finished all that she had to say for now. All of the others sitting in silence as the unicorn let everything that she had said sink in a little, and waited to see how the others would respond to being told all of that.
"So that was what you two were keeping from us all this time?" Starlight asked as all the others seemed at a loss for words right now, all of them just looking round to one another while they all still had surprised expressions on their faces.
"Yes, were you surprised?" Rarity asked with a nervous smile now, as she could tell that the others weren't mad at her and Rainbow for lying to them all this time, but instead they just seemed surprised that Rarity had been having such a relationship with Rainbow when they were behind closed doors.
"Well yeah it defintely wasn't something we were expecting at all," Applejack stated as she composed herself now while all the others nodded their heads and agreed with the farm pony. As although they had all had their suspicions none them had thought about the two of their friends hiding that kind of secret relationship from them. Causing Rarity to seem a little anxious now as she hoped that this all wouldn't be too much for the others to take in all at once.
"But wait a minute, what happened between you last night then?" Twilight now asked as she realized that although they now all knew what had been going on with Rarity and Rainbow they still didn't know why the two of them were acting so differently now after last night.
"Oh right, last night I asked Dash to stay round at mine again, and she accepted my request like she always does, however I said something to her last night that I really shouldn't have," Rarity started to explained the events of what had happened last night to all the others now, as they just stood listening to her intently, not interrupting the unicorn at all and all just keeping quiet, wanting to know what she had to say to them all.
"You see the relationship between Dash and me was just meant to be a little bit of fun, nothing more than just getting out our frustrations and escaping from our real lives for a while. But I had always felt that there was more to it than that to me, I've never acted like how I act when I'm with Dash, she's the only one that I've ever let get so close to me and break down my walls, I've only let her see my most vulnerable side, and that's because she's the one that brought it out of me in the first place. To be honest I'm not sure when exactly it was but I relized what my true feelings were for Dash and tried as best as I could to keep them hidden from her, but I got selfish I kept wanting to be with her, it didn't matter whether we did anything or not, I just wanted to be with her every single second of the day, and whenever I was away from her my heart would ache, and my chest would hurt," Rarity explained all her true feelings that she had for Rainbow Dash, pausing for a moment and taking a deep breath, finally telling the others about what she had said last night to Dash.
"I know I shouldn't have done it, but it just slipped out when I was caught up in the moment, I told Dash that I loved her, and it scared her, I could tell just from the way she looked at me that I had confused her. I wasn't supposed to fall in love with her, our relationship wasn't ever meant to include any feelings whatsoever, and so now I've just gone and runied everything that we once had, Dash left my house shortly after I told her my feelings and I haven't see her since," Rarity finally told the others what had happened between her and Rainbow Dash last night, and now just looked down to her hooves again as she cursed herself, 'Why couldn't I just keep my mouth shut?' she questioned still wishing that she could have taken back what she said last night, and maybe then her and Rainbow would still be together.
"But how does Rainbow Dash feel about you Rarity?" Pinkie Pie now asked as her and all the others were now looking to Rarity with understanding expressions again as they could tell that Rarity was obviously speaking the truth when saying that she was in love with Rainbow Dash, but now all kind of wondering how Dash really felt about all this.
"Dash sees me as nothing more than just a close friend who she fools around with a lot, and I'm sure our relationship to her is just a bit of fun, after all that's what it was always meant to be. And I thought I would be fine with just going along with it so that I could still be with her, but now... now I've messed it all up," Rarity sighed as she knew that Rainbow didn't feel the same way she did, and knew it was a mistake to tell her about how she truly felt, but she guessed that at the time she couldn't stop herself, only now she wished that she had.
The others now all looking to one another again as they weren't sure what to say, wanting to help Rarity, but not knowing how. And if Rainbow Dash really didn't have the same feelings that Rarity had for her than what could they do other than just lend Rarity a shoulder to cry on? All of them (bar Twilight) now walking up to Rarity and comforting her kindly, while the unicorn just smiled to them all weakly and felt like crying, but held herself together for now as she thanked them all for caring so much.
Twilight however standing back as she thought over all that Rarity had told them, and then thought of how Rainbow Dash had acted when she and Starlight saw her before coming to talk to Rarity. Something just not seeming to sit right with her as she thought that something still didn't make sense, but in order to get the answers she wanted this time she would need to go and talk to Rainbow Dash about it.
Sighing slightly now Twilight stepped forward and caught all the others attention, "Could all of you stay here with Rarity? I need to go and have a little talk with Rainbow Dash," she stated as the others all looked to her surprised for a moment while she just smiled to them all.
"Are you sure Twilight, I mean you don't have to go and do something like that- Rarity started to try and cause Twilight to think twice about what she was planning on doing, since she doubted it would really do anything if she did go and talk to Rainbow Dash, however the Princess just cut her off as she looked back to the unicorn with a confident expression.
"No Rarity I do have to do this, I have to hear it from Rainbow Dash herself," Twilight stated as she nodded with a determined smile now, Rarity looking unsure still, but seeing that the Princess's mind was already made up, and there wasn't any hope of changing it now.
"Okay,"
Rarity nodded now as she still didn't believe that talking to Rainbow Dash would get the Princess anywhere, since she knew the pegasus would most probably just tell her what she had already told them all, but that just didn't seem like something that Twilight was going to settle for, so she couldn't stop her from going and finding out for herself.
"Wait shouldn't one of us come along with you?" Starlight asked as she thought that they would all like to know just what Rainbow would say about all this, but Twilight denying that suggestion almost immediately as she just shook her head in response.
"It would be best not to overwhelm her or she'll just fly off again. So I'll go by myself, plus you all should stay here and comfort Rarity, she needs her friends right now," Twilight rested her hoof on Starlight's shoulder and gestured for her to stay with Rarity and the others here, while she would go off and talk with Rainbow Dash by herself.
"But you don't even know where she's flown off to,"
"I'll find her, and I'll bring her back here before you know it,"
Twilight replied as it truly seemed like she had her mind set on going to talk to Rainbow Dash and hearing it for herself about what her feelings really were about everything, while it was obvious that none of the others could talk the Princess out of this, and so just decided to let her go and try out what she had in mind, wishing her good luck before she left them all and headed off to go and look for Rainbow Dash, having given Rarity one last reassuring smile, brefore she flew off and all the others waved and watched her go, uncertain if she would find the answers that she was looking for, but hoping that she wouldn't be too disappointed if she wasn't able to get them.
Rarity watching Twilight disappear out of sight and sigh deeply as she only hoped that Rainbow Dash wouldn't get angrier from it all, and would luckily have a relatively calm converstaion with the Princess, although having a bad feeling that that would not be how things would actually go for Twilight.
....
Soaring through the sky Twilight had a feeling that she might as well check Rainbow's cloudhouse first, knowing that may be a little obvious, but also thinking that she might as well give it a try and if the pegasus wasn't there then she guessed she would just have to go searching for her somerwhere else instead, although not really wanting to do that since she wouldn't really know where exactly to start, but thinking that she would just have to settle for it if she did have to do that in the end.
Quickly making her way to Rainbow's home, and soon grinding to a halt when she saw the familiar cloudhouse in her sights and now slowly started to just hover below it, taking a deep breath in, before she now called loudly out to Rainbow Dash. Getting nothing in response which she expected but didn't give up just yet as she called again and again, her volume getting louder each time however as she still wasn't getting any kind of response she now came to stand on the cloud, looking up to Rainbow's home for a moment, before she approached the door.
Knocking lightly at first, but after getting no answer she knocked much harder and now called out to Rainbow Dash again, however after not getting an answer for quite a while she felt like giving up and just deciding to go and look for the pegasus somewhere else, but as she now turned around to leave, her ears perked up and twitched to the sound of the door now opening behind her.
Turning back around Twilight now smiled as she greeted Rainbow Dash, while the pegasus just stood there in the doorway looking annoyed and tired as she just sighed heavily, and gave the Princess a blank stare, before she spoke to her in a uninterested tone.
"What do you want Twilight?" the pegasus asked as she glared to the smiling expression that the other mare had on her face right now, wondering just what the Princess was here for, although already kind of guessing what this was all going to be about.
"You want to go for a fly? It won't take long I promise," Twilight asked as she wanted to just ease Rainbow into this, and not force her to do anything that she wasn't comfortable with, looking to the pegasus with an understanding expression now as she patiently awaited Rainbow's reply.
"Sure I guess,"
Rainbow replied as she just rolled her eyes slightly now, deciding that she might as well agree to go along with the Princess since she felt like she could really go for a fly in order to clear her mind a little right now, but being sure to stay on her guard as she had a feeling of what this fly just might involve.
Twilight just nodded in return with a smile as she was happy that Rainbow had agreed to go with her. The both of them soon heading off together as they now just calmly glided through the sky in complete silence as Twilight had been trying to start up a conversation, but only ended up getting one word sentences in reply from the pegasus flying beside her.
'This is getting me nowhere,' the Princess thought as she nervously tried to keep smiling and finding things to talk about, but Rainbow just kept shuting her down, causing Twilight to think now that maybe easing the other mare into this wasn't such a good idea after all, maybe she should just be more direct with the pegasus instead.
"Listen Rarity told us all about the relationship that you and her have, and about what happened between you both last night. I will admit that it was surprising but- Twilight started to now bring up what she really wanted to talk to Rainbow Dash about, but was quickly cut off by the pegasus as she didn't seem like she wanted to hear any of it.
"I told you eariler that I didn't want to talk about Rarity," Rainbow reminded as she now glared to Twilight slightly, which caused the Princess to just look back to her nervously now.
"Right sorry," Twilight apologized as she could see that this wouldn't be easy for her, thinking for a moment, before a idea formed inside her mind and she looked to Dash again with a smile.
"Then let's talk about you instead," Twilight now suggested, which just caused Rainbow to look at her with a questioning expression, before the Princess simply just continued on, "I mean Rarity already told us all about how she felt, so why don't tell me what your feelings are?" she asked hoping that Rainbow would open up to her even if it was only a little, she hoped she would at least be able to get through to the pegasus somehow.
"What do you mean?" Rainbow asked after a short pause, Twilight knowing that she was only asking her questions so that she wouldn't have to answer hers, but not letting the pegasus ask her way out of this one it seemed.
"Well you already know what Rarity's feelings are for you, don't you Rainbow?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow now as Rainbow looked back to her with slightly widened eyes now, before the pegasus nervously just turned away from her and responded in a low voice now.
"I caught onto it a while ago that she saw more in me than just a 'sex friend'," Rainbow simply stated as she had seemed to have already guessed that Rarity was in love with her, but just didn't want to believe it as she almost looked upset as she talked about this now, biting her bottom lip, while Twilight was a litte taken aback by the pegasus's reply, but quickly composed herself and continued on as it seemed like Rainbow wasn't up for putting much of a fight anymore, which was lucky for the Princess.
"But you know what I don't get? While you know of Rarity's true feelings for you, you're denying your own feelings for her," Twilight said not knowing what to expect as an answer this time from the other mare, and was a little surprised to hear Rainbow answer quicker than she first thought she was going to.
"I'm not denying them...I just...I don't want to admit them," Rainbow confessed nervously in a lowered voice as she now glanced away from Twilight for a moment and sighed a little now, seeming like she had more to say, but waiting until Twilight asked her another question.
"Why not?" Twilight asked now just listening intently to Rainbow and being sure to continue taking things slowly as she didn't want to ruin how far she was getting with the pegasus right now, as she was slowly letting her guard down, confessing to the alicorn about how she really felt.
"Because...I guess I don't want anything to change between us, I like where we are right now, and I don't want either one of us getting hurt," Rainbow stated in a low voice, continuing to just look in front of her and not at Twilight, finding it easier to talk about her feelings when she wasn't looking at the pony that she was telling them to right now it seemed.
Twilight's eyes widening a little, as she understood Dash's worries and just smiled slightly to her, flying closer to the pegasus and now resting a caring hoof on her shoulder, "But aren't you both getting hurt now anyway? Both you and Rarity are sufferling right now, so do you really want things to stay as they are?" she asked with an understanding expression on her face, Rainbow Dash now looking back to her with slightly widened eyes, seeming to not know how to reply as first, before she swallowed slowly and shook her head.
"But how do I make things better from here? I don't think I could face her right now," Rainbow asked as she was scared that she wouldn't be able to see Rarity again, but then also not wanting to just leave the unicorn not knowing about her true feelings when she already knew about hers.
"I think you just need to stop letting your own fears get to you so much, and just do what you want to do," Twilight simply answered as she now stopped flying for the moment and looked to where they were both hovering over, looking to Rainbow Dash's confused expression and waited for her reply now.
"Do what I want'? Just what do you mean by that Twilight?" Rainbow questioned as she didn't get what message the other mare was trying to get across to her, while Twilight just smiled to her and gestured to the building that was just below them now.
"Seems like now's the best time for you to find out,"
The Princess stated as her and Rainbow were now looking down to Rarity's house, seeing Rarity and all the others still standing outside the boutique. Rainbow looking surprised for a moment as she glanced back to Twilight now not realizing that they had been heading to Rarity's house, but having a feeling that Twilight knew. The alicorn just winking to the pegasus in return before she swooped down and landed on the ground, gesturing for Rainbow to come and stand next to her.
Rainbow hesitating at first looking down to Twilight and thinking of just turning tail and escaping back to her cloudhome, but then looked to Twilight's understanding expression and slowly came to now stand beside her on the ground. Twilight nodding to Rainbow, before she now called to all the others and caught their attention.
All the others now turning to look to Twilight, and were going to greet her, until they noticed that Rainnbow Dash was now standing beside her. All of them looking surprised as they hadn't expected Twilight's plan to actually work but here she was with Rainbow Dash who she said she would be bringing back with her, and now she had done just that.
Twilight gesturing for Rainbow to go over to Rarity, resting a hoof on her shoulder and pushing her a little, encouraging her to go and talk to the unicorn. Rainbow taking a deep breath as she now looked to Rarity, and hesitated a little when she saw the unicorn's wondering expression, and felt like turning and flying off, but then shaking that feeling off as she now knew she couldn't run away from this any longer, she had to face it head-on.
"Rarity, can I talk with you for a moment?" she asked nervously, hoping that Rarity was willing to listen to her, however Rarity just smiled slightly as she now looked to Dash with what looked like a weak smile and spoke to her in a tone that was a little shaky.
"Before you do, Dash I want to tell you something," the unicorn stated, surprising the pegasus, but Rainbow just nodding as she decided to let Rarity go first and say what she wanted to say before she would speak.
"What is it?" Rainbow asked, wondering just what Rarity was going to tell her, while all the others watched on from a little ways away.
"Dash I know how you feel about me,"
"Y-you do?"
"Yes, I know you don't feel the same way I do about you, and that's okay. We can just go back to how we were before last night happened, we can just forget about it and go back to normal. I know you probably hate me after what I said, and that's okay you can hate me, but I'll still keep loving you. So just please let me stay with you, I don't care about anything else just as long as I'm together with you then...then I'll be okay," Rarity explained as she continued to smile to Rainbow, causing the pegasus to look to her surprised, not knowing how to react until she saw the slight tears that were in Rarity's eyes right now, and knew what she had to say, building all of her courage up and now smiling back to Rarity.
"But I don't want that," the pegasus simply stated as she caused for Rarity to now look surprised as she obviously wasn't expecting the pegasus to say that to her. Rarity going to question and ask what Dash had meant by saying what she had, but not getting the chance to as Dash just continued on.
"I don't want things to go back to how they were, I know I've been causing you to suffer a lot, and that's not right, I haven't told you how I really feel about you, when I know that I should. So I don't want to just be your 'sex friend' anymore, I want to be your...marefriend. If you will let me that is," Rainbow finished nervously as she moved closer to Rarity now and looked to her surprised face with an understanding expression, not saying anything more and just waiting to see how the unicorn would reply to her.
"R-really?"
Rarity asked after a short pause, her eyes filled with tears as she hoped she wasn't dreaming or something right now, and if she was she didn't want to ever wake up. Rainbow just answering her with a nod, and causing her to now light up, a bright smile spreading across her lips that was not forced in the least as she couldn't believe how happy she was right now.
The unicorn now throwing her forelegs around Rainbow's neck, as she happily hugged the pegasus. Rainbow hugging Rarity back as she held her close and all the others just now smiled to the hugging couple, Pinkie cheering happily, and Twilight just nodding with a smile glad that Rainbow had been able to say what she really wanted to say and not let her own fears get to her this time.
Twilight now widening her eyes as she heard Rainbow call out to her, looking to the pegasus with a wondering expression at first, while Rainbow just smiled to her, "Hey Twilight, thank you for your help, I really needed it," she thanked Twilight, and caused the Princess to just smile back to her now.
"You're welcome Rainbow Dash, I'm just glad that you two were able to work everything out," Twilight stated as she simply just nodded to Rainbow and was truly happy that she could help her two friends when they had really needed it.
"Me too,"
Rainbow replied as she looked back to Rarity now, and smiled to her happily, Rarity smiling back to the pegasus before she was taken by surprise and Dash brought her into a loving kiss. Rarity being wide-eyed at first, before she just closed her eyes and melted against Rainbow, kissing her back and smiling slightly when she heard the others whistle to her and Rainbow.
The two now parting lips as they looked to all the others, all of them deciding to go and have a late lunch at Twilight's castle since they all had a feeling that this meal wouldn't get cut short. The group ended up talking about how they were going to celebrate Rainbow and Rarity getting together, Pinkie deciding to start planning a 'Congratulations on being honest with your feelings and becoming each other special somepony' party, and all of them talking about said party for the whole afternoon, organizing everything together until, the sun started to go down.

"Well today has sure been crazy hasn't it?" Rainbow asked as she and Rarity were now both in Rarity's bedroom, laying beside each other on the bed, as Rarity had asked Rainbow if she could stay round at hers tonight, and Rainbow happily saying 'yes' as she always did.
"Yeah, no kidding," Rarity agreed as she sighed deeply now glad that their friends had been able to help them after all, and was happy to finally be able to call Rainbow Dash her marefriend now.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my feelings sooner Rarity...I was just...scared I guess," Rainbow nervously stated now as she slightly turned away from Rarity, knowing that she shouldn't have let her own fears and worries get to her as much as they had, and should have just come clean about her feelings when she started to realize them a while ago, instead of being frightened about things changing.
It's okay, I shouldn't have kept quiet about how I felt for so long either," Rarity simply smiled back to Rainbow now, causing the pegasus to look back to her with slightly widened eyes, guessing that the unicorn had only not told her of her feelings because she also didn't want to possibly ruin things between them, although to be honest she could've reacted better than just running off when the truth finally did slip out.
Rainbow not responding for a moment, before she just smiled and shook her head slightly, now looking into Rarity's eyes and moving closer to her slightly, "We're just as bad as each other when it comes to these kind of things I guess," the pegasus chuckled a little, before she brought her marefriend into a light kiss and soon Rarity returned the sweet kiss, the two of them just smiling to one another happily as their lips now slowly parted. Laying in complete silence for a moment until Rainbow broke it.
"But you know it's good that we don't have to sneak around anymore," Rainbow stated as she now outstrenched her wing and slowly glided it over Rarity's back, causing the unicorn to shiver all over in response, looking back to Dash with a raised eyebrow, and only got a slight wink in return.
"Yeah I guess you're right,"
Rarity smiled now as she now rolled over onto her back, and wrapped her forelegs around Rainbow's neck, pulling her to lean over her, as Rainbow happily just stood over her now, and leaned down to her bringing her into another kiss. The two smiling to each other happily as they looked deeply into one another's eyes and soon leaned in for another deep kiss. Moaning and holding the other close as they continued to make passionate love late into the night ending with them falling into a peaceful sleep in their loving embrace, not being able to picture a more perfect and happy moment then the one they were both shared right now.
