Prologue
Kirby was exhausted from fighting Nightmare Enterprises for so long. He was surrounded by their forces and Customer Service’s dark laughter rang out in the spacious room.

"Finally, after sending my monsters to kill you, it turns out you came to me instead. Now, are you ready to accept my offer of joining me or am I going to have my monsters kill you instead?" Customer Service’s voice boomed, causing Kirby to hurt more.

Kirby was badly hurt, with deep cuts running along his pink body. The crimson staining his bubblegum pink body red. Kirby's left eye was swollen, causing his already blurring vision to be halved. Some of his skin was burned black from fire monsters throwing fire and explosive monsters using bombs. The broken Star Warrior lay almost completely still except for the small rise and fall of his breathing.

"You will never…get away with this…I will make sure...you are defeated…even if it kills me." Kirby panted through shallow breaths.

"Oh really." Customer Service grinned, "And just how are you going to do that Star Warrior?"

Customer Service darkly chuckled at his question, crescendoing into a bone chilling laugh. Kirby, on the other hand, was trying to figure out an escape plan.

If I get to my star ship I should be able to escape, but how? It's all the way down at the loading dock hidden where only I can get to it, at least I hope. Just as Kirby finished his thought, one of Customer Service’s flying monsters flew up to his ear.

"Sir we have found something that belongs to the pink abomination." It said in a crackled voice.

Kirby felt his heart drop at this. Oh Shit! Kirby thought to himself.

Customer Service's smile was big before, but now it was huge, completely encompassing his face. "Oh really? Well then let me see it.”

"Yes, sir. BRING IT IN BOYS!" The monster yelled to another small group of winged monsters who smiled wickedly.

Kirby looked over toward where the flying beast yelled to see the hoard of monsters moving to clear a path. When the last monster moved, Kirby's eyes grew large out of surprise and fear. Right in front of him was his trust Starship, and from the looks of, it hadn’t taken any damage. Soon a small spark of hope was in the pink Star Warrior.

Kirby watched with fake fear as the monsters set the ship between him and Customer Service. Okay if I can make it to my ship, then I should be able to make it out of here. Kirby thought, trying to formulate a plan that wouldn’t end with him losing to the Nightmare Enterprises.

"Well well well, look at what we got here Star Warrior. If I didn't know any better, I would say this is your star ship," Customer Service said in a joyfully sinister voice. "Well if you don't join me then, I will just take this as a trophy or maybe make it one of my little playthings,” laughed Customer Service.
Customer Service then turned his back to Kirby.

Now! I can make my move while his back is turned! Kirby thought, dragging his bloodied and bruised body across the floor as he faintly crawled towards his Starship.

"Kirby, do you know where you came from?"

“What are you talking about Customer Service? Don’t try to fool me with your silver tongue, I won’t fall for it like King Dedede!”

"So you don't know then." Customer Service began to chuckle, but then it soon turned into a full blown laughter, "You don't remember, do you? Well, let me refresh your memory a bit."

Kirby was almost to his ship, but he stopped for a second to listen to the bane of his existence tell a story
"Wait what are you talking about?" Asked Kirby.

"Listen up, mistake. You were supposed to be one of my greatest monsters I had ever created."

"NO you're- you're lying I- I'm not a monster, you are!" Kirby said with fear in his voice.

"Oh, but it is true. What makes you think that you’re not? I mean truly think about it. You don't know your origins. It's as if you appeared out of thin air."

Curious but still afraid of the answer because right now he wanted to keep Customer Service busy talking while trying to escape the battle station. "What happened then?"

But Customer Service responded with venom in his voice, "Those wretched Star Warriors! That is what happened. They messed up my concentration so instead of you becoming my greatest weapon you became my potential demise. But it seems I was wrong; you were just an obstacle in my plans for ruling the entire universe."

Kirby finally made it to his Starship and was preparing to take off, when suddenly one of the monsters finally took notice of what he was doing and screeched at him, alerting everyone to Kirby's escape. It was too late as Kirby flew toward the exit at sonic speeds.

"Okay now I just have to get to the loading dock then I can warp speed out of here." Kirby thought out loud with hope in his voice.

Customer Service, on the other hand, was shouting orders at his monsters to kill the pink nuisance. But they were not fast enough and Kirby was long gone. Thirty minutes later the star ship was ready to warp. During that time Kirby got out his first aid kit and got to work on his most major injuries. After he had finished, he set his ship to scan for any Star Warriors or possible ones. The ship picked up on a planet that said it had one possible Star Warrior. So he set the ship's coordinates to the planet and warped. Kirby entered hyper sleep to wait for his ship to land and hopefully not crash like the first time.

The last thought he had before letting sleep take him was, I wonder if they have any food.

Author's Note

Well guys this is the first chapter out of many. Any criticism is appreciated. If it helps me write my story.
Kirby's text from here on out be it thought or him actually talking will be pink.
I may or may not do this for other characters.
I will hopefully make chapter one by the end of today but if not oh well and I hope you liked the prologue of The Equestrian Star Warrior.
