The Equestrian Star Warrior.

Chapter 1

It was a peaceful day in Ponyville. Celestia's sun hung over head. Rainbow Dash was doing her tricks. Applejack bucking apple trees. Fluttershy was taking care of her animal friends. Rarity was making a new dress for a client. Pinkie pie helping bake treats at Sugar Cube Corner. Twilight Sparkle was at home reading a new book. Yep, today was one of the more peaceful days at Ponyville. But unknown to them today was about to take a huge turn.

All of a sudden a huge sonic blast echoed across the sky. Everypony looked up expecting a sonic rainboom from Rainbow Dash but instead saw what looked like a yellow meteor flying straight at them. Everypony started to freak out trying to get away from the falling yellow meteor as fast as possible and ducked underneath random stuff to escape the blast.

But it never came, instead, a loud roar of the likes they have never heard before with large gusts of wind. All the ponies looked up to see the meteor was a giant yellow star fly right over them quickly coming to a stop between Ponyville and the Everfree forest. The first one at the 'crash' sight was none other than Rainbow Dash only to see there was no crash at all only the giant star. Which upon closer inspection was made up of some kind of metal.

"What the hay is this thing?" Rainbow thought out loud.

"It may be...an alien vehicle." Twilight responded out of breath from running all the way there, Spike hoping off her back.

"Oh, I hope it's not dangerous." The timid Pegasus Fluttershy said.

"I doubt it Fluttershy, but if it is, then we'll be right here to protect you." The orange Earth pony Applejack said to the timid mare.

"Ooooh, maybe it likes parties!" Pinkie appeared from the other side of the giant star.

Not questioning how she got over there Twilight asked her assistant Spike to send a letter to Princess Celestia, "Spike, please send a letter to Princess Celestia."

"Sure thing Twi," The baby dragon said taking out a piece of parchment and a quill.

"Dear Princess Celestia, Sorry for bothering you at this time but this is important as a strange giant metal star has landed next to the Everfree forest, and we are wondering if you could come here to take a look at it. Sincerely your student. Twilight Sparkle."

"Got that Spike?" Twilight asked.

"S-par-kle yep got it." Spike then took in a deep breath and blew green flames on the scroll sending it in a cloud of sparkling smoke.

Together they continued to examine the star without getting too close when Rainbow discovered that the top had a small line down the middle of what looked like a dome.

"Hey Twi look at this up here." The prismatic Pegasus said, "It looks like an opening to this star."

Twilight was about to investigate when suddenly a shadow fell across them. They looked towards the source of the shadow to see both rulers of Equestria, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, were flying towards them. The mane six bowed out of respect of the princesses of Equestria.

"Rise my little ponies. Now Twilight is this the 'star' you talked about in your letter?" Celestia asked with an unreadable expression on her face.

Twilight responded, "Yes, Princess. Rainbow Dash found what may be an opening to this star." Now both Princesses had a curious expression on their face.

"Truly thou jests Twilight a star cannot have an opening." Luna says to the lavender unicorn.

"I'm not joking princess," Rainbow says. "It looks like if we could somehow pry it open, then we could get inside it and see if-" Rainbow stopped when a loud hiss and puff of steam came out of the seam Rainbow found. Everypony took cover behind the two princesses as they charged up their horns with magic. It was then when the top opened.

Kirby had just woke up to the inner lights of his Star ship. He looked at the screen on the dashboard. It said that he was at the planet and if the position of his ship was anything then it had landed safely. 'Well, that was fast.' The pink puff ball thought to himself. He then started to hear voices talking outside of his ship. Logic told him that the voices belonged to the dominant species of the planet, he opened the metal cover along with the glass one.

Kirby looked around the area and saw that to his left was a dark forest. Kinda similar to Wispy Woods. Memories of his time with Wispy when he wasn't corrupted brought a pang of painful nostalgia to Kirby. Wispy was one of his best friends along with the creatures that inhabited Wispy Woods. He was knocked out of his nostalgic state by the sound of voices behind him.

Kirby turned around to see... colorful ponies. Kirby has seen a lot of things but even this surprised him. They varied in color, hairstyles, extra appendages, and size. Kirby puffed up and floated down from his ship. Now that he was on the ground, Kirby noticed that he was the same height as most of the ponies. They were looking at him with large eyes.

That was when he saw her. Those emerald green eyes, long blond hair in a ponytail. "Tiff." Kirby said looking at the blond. Tears in his eyes. This was too much for Kirby. First his lost at the hands of the bane of his existence. The truth of his bringing to existence. The nostalgia. It was too much. After hundreds of years of being alone, it had finally caught up to him.

Kirby couldn't stop the tears that now flowed freely from his eyes. He closed his eyes and cried. "Tiff, I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." Kirby stood there and cried. He cried from the death of his friends. He cried from the pain. He cried from the loneliness. During this, he felt something hug him.

Kirby stiffened but slowly relaxed when he felt he wasn't in danger. The touch was soft. He felt feathers cover him where the forelegs did not. He opened his eyes to see butter yellow fur pressed into him. He moved his stubs and returned the hug, pressing his face into the soft fur of this winged pony. There, he stayed, crying until he couldn't anymore.

When he finally stopped crying, Kirby was emotionally exhausted. He released the hug and walked backwards away from the creatures. "Thank you." Kirby said as he wiped away any remaining tears.

"Your welcome. Umm, whatever you are. My name is Fluttershy. Do you have a name little guy?" Whispered a soft womanly angelic voice. Kirby looked up and saw that the voice belonged to the pony. He was indifferent about this since some of his friends were talking animals. Those being Rick the Hamster, Coo the Owl, Kine the fish, and Tecorri the yellow bird.

She had a long silky pale, light grayish rose mane and tail. Her eyes were a moderate cyan that held more compassion in them then any other being he has seen. Her coat was a pale, light grayish gold. "My name is Kirby, and I am a Star Warrior." This got a gasp from the crowd. It was known across the world that a Star Warrior had once protected the planet. But he had died during the Alicorn Wars.

To this day, stories of his heroic deeds spread across the planet. But now they were little more than old mare tales. To see one in front of them was like seeing history come to life. "Your a Star Warrior!" A pale, light grayish mulberry pony with a horn exclaimed. "But there has only been one Star Warrior in all of our known existence, and he had died over a millennia ago! If your really a Star Warrior then why are you only coming here now?"

'By Kabu does she seem eager to learn.' Kirby thought. "I came to this planet because there is already a Star Warrior here, and I need their help."
