War of Survival

*1 Year After Arrival*

The Yeti king, Hercules were walking around among his created race. The Yeti town was set up in a relatively good time frame, 2 days and they had improved upon it until they had made s big, strong settlement. By which point the Yetis use both mating and chaos magic to turn stone or snow into more Yetis, growing up in a ever increasing military camp had toughened them up enough to survive the excitingly inhospitable snow mountain. The Yeti shamans have used their chaos magic to fertilize the ground to make it matured enough for farming without a problem and was set to use the same chaos magic to give life to many animalistic beasts to do their biddings.

These are the types of beasts being created:

The Sabretooths are apex predator-class tamable animals. The Yetis use them for hunt and guard, also as mounts.

The Woolly Rhinos are a part of the Yeti animal herding and farming, but their brute strength and their horns allows the Yetis to use them for mounts

The Cave Bears are the main mounts of the Yeti race. They can swim, but cannot climb, although they can do alot of damage due to their large size.

The Dire Wolves hunt in packs of three or more individuals, and frequently one of the wolves is a rare variant. Wolf packs are more active at night than during the daytime. They are the pride and joy of the Yeti warriors.

The Rock Mammoth are the largest animals that lives with the Yeti, also as their herding and farming animals. But due to their largest size and their unequal strength, the Yetis use them as terrible war-beasts and they will strike terror into the hearts of their enemies.

The Frost Trolls are the animalistic cousins of the Yetis, more taller than the Yetis. They are smart enough to understand words and how to do things but the Yetis treat them like pets due to their more animal and less civlilized behavior and/or nature.

The Frost Wyrms are the air-force of the Yeti race, they are used as sky fighters and guardians both for protection and war.

The Mountain Hydra are titanic beasts of the mountains, with their ability to regenerate more heads, tunneling through the earth with ease and project concentrated beams of chaos energy for a destructive amount of damage they are the Yeti race's trump cards of war against their enemies.

Hercules instructed his chaos shamans to create and tame those beasts for the Yeti's benefits. He imaged them with inspirations from other worlds that he once viewed. His Yeti warriors and workers was set to create and build more weapons and few armors, the Yetis used their created 'pets' for work, farming, hunting, and if necessary for war.

While Hercules and his Yetis work, they use their chaos magic to bring woods, tools and bricks to build more buildings, both homes and other things such as: barracks, blacksmith, banks, shops, stores, taverns, etc,.

Hercules, after much debating with his council, finally sent a Yeti squad to clear a path for the beginning of a new settlement, just to the north where their scouts had found the closest sea and, coincidently, the closest clearing. After that the Yetis send multiple of squads of settlers and warriors along with their beasts, they meet alot of challanges during the way; meating creatures and monsters they haven't seen before and killed them in retaliation for attacking them. They have been building more settlements and they all had their own "Chieftains", like lords over their governed territory in their kings stead.

3 settlements in and the Yetis had grown too quickly, so King Hercules had ordered his subjects to stop or slow the chaos magic reproduction of their race and their beasts, deciding to have their population grow in a natural way, through mating.

Their natural reproduction way left the Yetis with more energy to go on hunting trips and celebrations, which cut back on the amount of Yetis comming back slightly.

The amount of shamans hadn't grown much, so far only those who Hercules choosed had grown powers and they had found many uses for them. Even the amount of their beasts grew slowly, but they all played an important role in their society.

*Present Day*

King Hercules was sitting on his throne and was writing a scroll to deliver orders to the settlements. After he send the message he felt tired and tried to get some rest in his throne chair. He did that in an hour until a male Yeti, who's name is Talmar (King Hercules' advisor), came inside the cave palace where Hercules' throne of stone where.

"Sire, the scouts came back with a incredible news! They have found civilization, we believe that we finally found the natives of this world." Talmar said and that earned Hercules' fullest attention.

"They found other civilizations? Where!?" Hercules asked with alot of excitement. Talmar used his chaos magic to create a mirror screen in order to show Hercules the 'new' civilization that their scouts found.

Hercules was astonished by the mere look on the huge city that have horned creatures, holding a shield and spear-like torches. This is exactly what Hercules hoped for, finding new life and make contact with the world. His greatest dream of his life has come true.

"According to our scouts, this city is located west from here." Talmar said with a prideful face.

"Tell the scouts to make contact with them, it's time to make friends." King Hercules said with a happy smile and a prideful soul.

Talmar went outside to carry out his order. While he was at it, Hercules went over to is table where he pour ale in his pint, he was drinking it while he take a few bites of cooked meat from his table as a way of personal celebration of meeting new civilization.

*Ten Minutes Later*

King Hercules summoned his inner-circle members (chieftains and shamans) to gather a meeting to discus diplomatic plans with the new civilization. Just when they all were about to reach an agreement, Talmar came rushing through the door. He looked very tired as if he ran for his life and his face looked very worried. This makes Hercules very worried as well.

"Talmar, what's the matter?" King Hercules asked with a worried face.

"The scouts... has returned... terrible news." Talmar said as he breath heavy.

"What terrible news!?" Hercules asked.

"The scouts approached the city to greet the natives in peace, but they attacked the scouts and killed two of them in the process!" Talmar said with a terrified tone.

That cause all Yetis and Hercules in the room to be shocked to the core and terrified at the fact that two of their five scouts died when they just tried to make friends. All the Yeti members of the council began to debate and argue about how they shall respond. While they were at it, Hercules still looked at the news with a terrified face for a moment. Two of his scouts were killed off by the natives for what? Why would they attack them without any provocation? The scouts have done nothing to them and they just looked at those Yetis and... judged them by their first appearance. Hercules left his world and leaved everything he ever knew behind just for a new and better life to only be in a world of... monsters!

King Hercules closed his eyes, where he steeled himself from this painful thought. Then he have a face of rage because he has made a decision.

*Two Hours Later*

It was a sad day for the Yaks, the parents was protecting their calfs and it cost them their lives because of those monsters attack. How did it all happened?

In the capital city of Yakyakistan, the Yaks there where doing their everyday things and they all had great times. But they also had something new happened to them as well. When a group of Yak calfs were playing at the snow outside the city, their adult parents and siblings were there watching them. Not to long a Yak calf who were about to make a snowball but was interrupted by five shadows that came to his view. He looked up and saw five white-fured ape-like creatures he never saw before, but they looked so very scary it cause the calf to scream and run for his parents in panic. The adult Yaks heard the scream and soon the five creatures themselves, the Yeti scouts. The Yeti scouts tried to tell them that they are friendly and they mean no harm. But the Yaks didn't listen, instead they pulled their weapons and charge at them yelling 'Die monsters'. Some of the Yaks were throwing spears at them and killed two of them by the hits.

The Yetis were horrified by it and one of them were hit by the leg. The remaining two Yetis could no longer stand for it as they see the Yaks charging at them. Both of them use their chaos magic to create a wall of ice spikes, sharp enough to kill and it did killed many Yaks because of their charge. The Yeti scouts carried their wounded comrade by their shoulders and their dead ones with their chaos magic.

After the Yetis' escape, the whole Yak city was disturbed by the event. The calfs of the dead parents and siblings was crying their hearts out for their lost. The rest of the Yaks were angry and demand revenge for the death of their fellow Yaks. Their ruler, King Burrock along with his son Prince Rutherford, sworn that they shall find these monsters and make them pay for their 'crime'.

But just as the Yaks were calming down and their king were about to make a speech, the walls exploded sending huge boulders around the city, crushing both houses down and landed on a few more Yaks, killed them in the process. While the smoke were clearing out and the Yaks turned their eyes to the direction of their destroyed walls.

*The Other Side of The City*

The Yeti army, lead by King Hercules himself, has arrived at the city of murderers where all of this started. With every Yeti warrior he could bring, along with some war-beasts. Hercules saw the city and the natives of it, he slammed down both of his hands that was glowing in chaotic blue on the ground and from them came two streams of chaos magic charging two sides of the wall and once it made contact with them they exploded and destroyed the wall.

Once the walls was destroyed, King Hercules let out a huge roar as his entire horde charged toward the city. The Yeti warriors with their war-beasts all charged in at the destroyed walls with a speed that would make any Olympian jealous. They charged towards the walls, disappearing into the smoke. The sound of steel clashing and screams filled the air. The Yaks wasn't prepared for an attack so they barely had enough time to rally their warriors, but the once on the un-destroyed part of the wall started to aim their bows at any Yeti from on top of the wall. The archers on the Yeti side started to fire a massive volley onto the wall itself, the arrows hitting some Yaks. The Yeti shamans started firing spell after spell at the wall and over it. One Yeti shaman aimed his staff at the wall unleashed a beam of light towards it. The wall crumbling it to the ground, some of the Yetis that weren't through the gate saw this opening and ran towards it.

The Yeti horde and their war-beasts was swarming over the Yaks, both sides giving it their all. The forces the Yetis were fighting weren't strong, the Yaks was unprepared so they were almost easy to kill. Even the ones on the walls did nothing to stop them. King Hercules watched as his warriors moved all over the city like it was nothing.

It was total chaos, but the Yeti horde made progress. The Yaks couldn't take enough punishment from them and started to retreat. By this point several big holes were made on the walls, letting the entire army through. What was strange though was the lack of civilians inside the city. The Yetis went from house to house, searching for anything. There were no civilians. Guess that once the wall exploded , they decided to get out of dodge and go somewhere safe. This was good. The last thing Hercules want is more civilian casualties, and collateral damage.

There were a few Yeti warriors who died in the battle but the Yaks started to leave the city for their own survival. They have lost and all the remaining Yaks that didn't died in battle ran as fast as they could. Hercules ordered his horde not to chase them but he conjured up a few insect familiars to follow them and see where they are going. King Hercules ordered the city to be burned down and destroyed.

While the Yetis are at it and take care of their own wounded, Hercules was looking through the eyes of his conjured up insect spies that follows the Yaks who were marching from their home into a direction. Hercules was spending his time looking though their eyes and he discovered that they went to another city.

It was a whole city made of 100% crystal, Hercules was amazed by it's art. But he still kept his eyes on the enemies who entered there. What surprised him the most is the inhabitants of this crystal city. They were not Yaks... they are all shining equines!

King Hercules was shocked to the core that these murderers would seek help from another race. Then when he saw the crystal equines were... HELPING THEM!!! This cause Hercules anger to grew without end.

King Hercules gathered his council along with his warriors to tell them the news what his spies saw. All the Yetis were furious at the shining equines for helping those murderers, they all shouting and arguing at each other what they shall do. They all came into silence when Talmar shout out.

"Every one be quiet! His majesty is the one who will decide our next move!" Talmar said to them and they all looked at Hercules with their eyes that ask what they shall do. Hercules took a moment while he was looking both at his warriors and the screen of the shining equines helping these monsters.

"Assemble our warriors, we march on the crystal city THIS day!" King Hercules ordered and that cause all the Yetis to roar and cheer for their king's orders.

*In the Crystal Empire*

In the capital city of the Crystal Empire the streets and the field out side of the city was filled with Yak refugees making camp on the streets while the Crystal Ponies are helping them out to make things easier for them. While it happens the Yak king and prince seek an audience with the rulers of the empire. While waitng patiently for the rulers to come, Prince Rutherford looked outside the window at his subjects with sorrow. He looked at his fellow Yaks and then towards Yakyakistan. His eyes began to watered. From the distance, he could see smokes, fires and destroyed homes of his and his father's kingdom that was taken away from a race of monsters who he thinks he have done no wrong to. After a few more minutes of waiting they heard the door opening and so came the rulers of the Crystal Empire.

Prince Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza (or Cadence) came to the room to meet with their Yak allies to help them.

"King Burrock, Prince Rutherford, we came as soon as we heard. What has happened in Yakyakistan!?" Princess Cadence asked with a worried face.

"We were attacked by a horde of white-furred monsters with their war-beasts, they destroyed our city, our home and drove us away here." King Burrock said with a sad face, he was about to say more things but was interrupted by his hot headed son.

"THEY ATTACK YAKS! YAKS DONE THEM NO WRONG! THEY DECLARE WAR ON YAKS!" Prince Rutherford yelled so loud that the ponies in this room hear ringings in their ears.

"Whoever they are, since they attacked you, be sure that the Crystal Empire will help you reclaim your homes." Shining Armor said with pride for his allies. However, his wife had other plans.

"Wait, we don't need any more violence between us and those creatures. I suggest we make a diplomatic arrangement and talk to them to find out what their intentions are." Princess Cadence suggested.

"They can't be reasoned with, we must fight or they will kill all or us." King Burrock said with a angry tone for Cadence suggestion.

"Cadence, why do you think we can talk to them if they wouldn't even listen to our allies?" Shining Armor asked with doubts about diplomacy.

"You can't tell if they are monsters unless you get to know them better. What if something terrible happened to them, something that cause them to attack the Yaks without choice. If there is a way to solve this problem without bloodshed we must take it." Cadence insist on a peaceful way to solve their problem.

The Yaks don't like it but Shining Armor was neutral on this. He was a soldier, fight and defeating the enemies was his top priority but he must agreed with his wife that peaceful solutions are better cause he dosen't want ponies or friends of ponies to die. After hours of debating of how they shall approach the Yetis, a snow blizzard came to the empire. It was strange because the Crystal Heart has the magic to keep the snowy blizzard away from their lifeful earth.

Shining Armor's quick thinking tells him that the ones who attacked the Yaks are here and so he ordered his crystal army to prepare for siege. While he was at it, the Yaks prepared whatever warrior they could offer to help while their civilians take shelter. The Crystal Army with their Yak allies stood their ground at the gate of the Crystal Empire while the snow blizzard was covering the ground and cause some of the crystal ponies to freeze. They all stood there and after a few minutes... came the Yeti horde and their war-beasts, lead by King Hercules himself.
