It's only been a little over year since Twilight's wedding to Arkantos, and all the changes it brought to the world. Whether they be good or bad. There's been no whispers of darkness or evil in Equestria... but the outside world isn't so lucky.

An ancient empire, surrounded by ice and snow, seeks help from their only ally in this world. The fires of hope are dwindling for them, something's destroyed their food, and with the coming winter, they stand little chance alone. To them, it's as though their races end prophecy is coming to a head... their king has full intent to stop it, and his only hope lies in Celestia.

The gods seem to stand against him and his race, as does the rest of the world... all he can do is hope Celestia will extend a helping hand as he had so many times in the past...
