Chapters The Night of the Fallen Epilogue:
Luna’s moon hung high in the sky, signaling the several long hours it had been since she took her position. Despite this Celestia wasn’t able to sleep. Instead she was sitting up, reading through some letters she had hidden away, making sure nopony ever found them. In them were various moves for a long standing game of chess she had going on. It had been several long months since the last reply, and now she was getting worried. All she had was the last letter sent to her,
‘To my close friend, I’m truly sorry I’ve been so late with my replies. Things have been steadily growing worse up here, though we’ll manage, we always have. I do wish I could send you good news of my condition for once… alas, I’m stuck with only bad news to reply to the amazing news you’ve been sending me. It’s wonderful to hear how everything’s going well for Equestria, especially with the new princess. Hopefully with my next letter I can send you something good…
Your friend, Tharian. PS: Knight B4 to C2. Your move. ’
This last letter from him in truth didn’t explain much of his situation, but from the tales she’d heard recently from the edges of the Crystal Empire, things had grown only worse… A cold and ancient storm was blowing in, and she didn’t know if Tharian’s tribe would be able to handle it. Though, she knew how horribly it’d hit his pride if she just outright sent help.
He needed the help though. There was no way around it. His pride wasn’t worth the cost of his tribe. Not for her, they had always been there for Equestria in their time of need. It was her time to repay that debt, but… with his lack of responses or any shows of power or force from him… she was worried it was far too late.
Celestia was so absorbed in reading over his last letter that she didn’t notice Chrysalis had entered her room.
“My, you’re up quite late…” Chrysalis hummed, leaning up against the wall.
Celestia jumped and her magic lit up, quickly teleporting the letters away. “What are you doing in here?” She questioned.
“Checking on you. The growing depressing feeling you were giving off was beginning to make me sick, so I came to see what’s wrong. Can’t have the sun going out, now can I?” Chrysalis said. “And, you were honestly beginning to worry me.”
“Hm… well… thank you.” Celestia sighed. “And… it’s nothing you can help with…”
“Why not?” Chrysalis asked, “Is it somepony you lost? If it is, maybe talking about them will help.”
“No… no I hope not.” Celestia sighed. “I… Hope he isn’t dead…”
“Him? Oooh, juicy…” Chrysalis mused, though it was less prodding then she usually was. “Tell me, why would you be getting depressed over him then? Is he a close friend, ooh, family ? Do you have a mysterious brother that’s been lost forever?” She joked halfheartedly.
“An old… old friend. I’d trust him with my life… because he’s saved it so many times.” Celestia sighed.
“If you’re so worried about him, why don’t you send a detachment out to find him and bring him here?” Chrysalis suggested.
“Because, he’d take that as a challenge. If he wants to come he’ll show up with no warning.” Celestia said. “And… I’m hoping he does. It’d do so much to make things better… knowing he’s alright.”
“Celestia…” Chrysalis said.
“Don’t worry about me… this comes and goes… he’ll send me a letter, and everything will be alright.” Celestia reasoned, though she didn’t feel that’d be the case.
Chrysalis was silent.
“Now… please go. I’ll be fine. I just… need some sleep.” Celestia slowly stood up, her magic lighting up and moving a piece on the chessboard she kept set up on top of her dresser. “Tharian… you’d better find a way to unfuck yourself… that was the stupidest move you’ve ever made in all of our games…” She muttered to herself. “You’d better win this one…”
Chrysalis closed her eyes, “Goodnight Celestia…”
“Goodnight Chrysalis.”
Insomnium:
Celestia’s head was spinning, she couldn’t quite pin where she fully was. There was a cold and biting wind blowing all around her, and the sunlight was blinding as it bounced off the snow.
She shook her head trying to clear it, for now at least, she could see shelter from the wind just ahead. She walked into the ancient looking stone structure, it was deathly silent, unnervingly so.
“Hello?” Celestia called, her senses and wits slowly coming back to her. Her voice bounced off the walls, only calling back to her.
The light filtering in was barely enough to see, so she cast a simple light spell, and at once, she regretted it.
Now she knew where she was… the large split open bodies of the northern horses splayed out was enough to tell her…
She was in their mead hall, an ancient and well cared for part of the castle they had. It stood at the center of their city, a monument to all that they were. It appeared that whatever had happened occurred during a feast. Food was scantily laid out on the tables, as if most of it had been consumed already, weapons jammed into the wood, or laying discarded, it appeared the warriors had attempted to fight what ever attacked, but they only delayed the others deaths.
She could tell very easily who had fought and who had tried to run. Those that had raised weapons could barely be considered bodies, only bone and torn muscle lay about their resting places. Some that still held noticeable forms beyond bone were gripping their weapons. Those regular horses and foals… gods, Celestia had to hold back vomit. They were piled up off to the side, some of the carcasses picked clean… others strewn about like forgotten toys.
She noticed one thing however, the icy blue coat of Tharian was missing from any of the piles, nay, any sign of him was missing from this carnage. She covered her nose and mouth to avoid breathing in the stench of death, and pushed onwards.
As she delved deeper into the fortress the warriors that hadn’t been at the feast had been ripped to utter shreds, messes of shattered and splintered bone, blood, and gore lay around where they had tried to make a stand. It wasn’t a massacre, or even a slaughter, this was purely a genocide… this was all this species had remaining… and to think, they were all dead.
These wounds and tearing weren’t done by any weapon she could recognize… no, she could tell it was done by fang and claw. They were utterly torn apart by some sort of creature.
Celestia knew where the seat of the fortress lay, and she rushed their, hoping beyond hope that Tharian was still alive… or that he had died slaying whatever had wiped out his people.
She burst into the seat of the fortress, and was met with a more breaking sight. Tharian was atop his throne, he hadn’t even had a chance to fight… no, it wasn’t as if he hadn’t had a chance to fight… something much worse had happened…
“No… no why… why would you…” Celestia approached his body, her eyes moving down to the sword lodged in his heart. He had taken himself out… but, why would he? This was so far from being like him…
Then she looked closer, there w… “W… what d… ha…” She could barely choke out. There was blood around his mouth, and remains of gore on his hands. “N… no… y-you cou…” She nearly broke down, thinking that Tharian… would do this… it couldn’t have been him, something had to have gone wrong… he must have bitten into the creatures neck in a last ditch effort to kill it, he had been clawing at it to get it off of himself… and when he knew he’d succumb to his injuries he killed himself… yes, that had to be it…
She stepped back, hoping that was the truth. Then she made the mistake of turning around to truly look at the rest of the room. She saw something that made no sense, s… she was right there… but, sh… she was laying on the ground, she could tell it was herself… the burns on the ground around the body made that clear… but beyond that, there was nothing else to tell her who it was… the body was torn apart, mangled and utterly consumed…
She heard something behind her, and everything came to a grinding halt. The only thing there was Tharian.
“Celestia…” The icy voice wasn’t his, no… his was warm, calming… friendly… this brought chills worse than the utterly consuming winds outside… it was as if part of her soul had just tired to leave in fear. “C… lestia…” It whispered again, she felt something unnaturally cold touch her shoulders. “I’m so hungry…”
Her horn was beginning to light up as she prepared to defend herself, even if it meant truly destroying him.
“You already tried that…”
“No… I haven’t.” Celestia growled, but before she could do anything, another pair of hands grabbed her, yanking her clean out of the horrific dream.
Luna’s eyes were wide and utterly fearful, her little sister was shaking so violently. It was as if she had seen the face of death and barely escaped.
“C-celly… w… what the hell wa… was that?” Luna finally choked out.
Instead of answering Celestia’s horn lit up once more. She forced herself awake, breaking free of Luna completely.
“The end… and it can’t… ever happen…” Celestia muttered quietly as she opened her eyes and gazed upon the ceiling of her room.
Author's Note
Holy shit. This one was a ride to write. I hope you all enjoy it! This one is going to be more... action filled since I don't have alternate universe or worlds to worry about. Just ancient history, and prophecies. This will be fun... But, don't worry there will be sex and romance, that's not something I'm going to forgo.
During the following morning Chrysalis could already feel the strange energy throughout the castle. She walked down to the throne room, noticing the absolute silence inside.
Celestia was refusing to even pay Luna the slightest bit of attention, and it was clear that Luna was worried about her.
“Tia, why won’t you talk to me? What caused that nightmare to happen, did something happen?” Luna asked once more, trying to get through the wall Celestia was building up.
Celestia took another bite of her food. “It isn’t som-”
“No! It is, that kind of dream, that… fear and… it felt like seeing that stallion set off something in you! That isn’t something anypony should be having a nightmare about!” Luna snapped. “Something caused that!”
“I’m worrying about an old friend! A… and that nightmare… I… I was thinking about an old story he told me. His people’s myth of the Revenants.” Celestia said, “Just… his silence bothered me now more than ever…”
“Well…” Luna muttered.
“Beyond that… I don’t know why my dreams were instantly pulled there… If… if he’s still alive, I need to ask him some things. I hope he’s alive…” Celestia sighed. “Unless either a letter, or some news of him showing up in Equestria comes to me, I… won’t be able to stop worrying. He’s prideful, headstrong… and he worries me so much. He refused any offers of help in the past, and… I shudder to think he’d willingly let his tribe starve, either we’re going to hear about war… or a scout will come back from the location of their tribe with news that they’re all dead…”
“If he’s going to refuse he-”
“No. He’s been a close friend and guard of Equestria since only a few years after your banishment… without his help, we’d have been enslaved.” Celestia slammed her fist down. “I refuse to do anything that’d lose him.”
“Then you can’t let them die!” Luna retorted. “Send them food, and whatever else they need!”
“Sister, you don’t UNDERSTAND them! They’d burn the food! Hell, they’d TORCH the carts and then escort the ponies who delivered it back after feeding them . They aren’t willing to let anypony help them. They’ve survived in the worst conditions for ages now. They’ve been battling everything since even before the Pony Tribes united… they’ve had no help, and they hold they need none. It… isn’t sane, I won’t call them such. But, it’s not something they’ll ever change… if they do, then it’d be a truly dire time for them. Gods… I hope it never comes to that.”
“How… have they surviv-”
“They fight, raid, and attack when they’re in dire need of something. They’ve never attacked Equestria… hell, the first hint we had of them was from the Crystal Empire before it vanished. Burning arrows were launched over the walls from the north, and they were unlike any make we’d ever seen.” Celestia stated.
“They hold themselves and their few friends in such a high regard that if we were threatened, they’d come forth like some tide, raging, and seething. The last time they did it… I had never seen any army turn face and run so quickly. I don’t think the Caribou expected a second army fully prepared to die to come at them from all sides… That was also the first time I met Tharian. He came with a single offer, he offered to help us. He and his warriors forced our enemies back so we’d have time to ready ourselves for anything that may come… but it appeared the threat of his race coming to our aide at a moments notice was enough to scare away any potential attackers for a long while. And seeing them in combat… I know why. They don’t have the same limits ponies do, they tore into their enemies like wild animals, fighting tooth and nail beside their wolves. But once the battle was over, they turned around so quickly… a massive party, nearly a damn riot, broke out. They hauled out barrels of mead and were quick to pass it around to everything, wolves, horses, and ponies alike.”
“Why didn’t we have to deal with them?” Chrysalis asked.
“I told him specifically not to… I didn’t want to have a genocide perpetrated. Though, when his letter came to me, he felt that it was something we could handle on our own… they had an issue with fishing boats vanishing that he was investigating with his forces.” Celestia said. “Though, I doubt he’d have gone after you to the Badlands. They would have been tired out like before they reached you. He’s not stupid. Just head strong…”
“He sounds pretty unintelligent to me.” Luna stated.
“His two point lead over me begs to differ.” Celestia sighed, “And it feels like some of them he’s just… given to me.”
“Explain.” Chrysalis said.
“We’ve been holding constant games of chess and other games for such a long time now… currently he’s on the losing side with my last move.” Celestia said. “Though, he’s turned the game around before… only twice have we ended in ties. And those are usually the most fun, neither of us having the ability to gloat, so we just forget about it and spend a bit of time chatting…” She sighed happily. “I wish those moments happened more often sometimes.”
“Make them happen more often then. The way your heart’s fluttering at happier thoughts… I’d assume you two are more than just friends…” Chrysalis mused.
“We’re too far apart for anything to happen. He rules his species, and I help rule Equestria. He wouldn’t tear me away from the ponies that love me, and likewise, I wouldn’t want to leave his horses without the leader they adore.” Celestia stated.
“Sister.” Luna stated. “Maybe you should get word out to The Crystal Empire to go investiga-”
The doors to the throne room burst open, one nearly coming off the hinges as a massive battle axe was lodged in it, the guards outside knocked on their asses as a massive stallion in full armor, a mixture of fur and steel armors, stepped in, dislodging his weapon (which he had intentionally lodged in there.
All three mares in the room were absolutely stunned, both Luna and Chrysalis prepared for an attack, however Celestia was smiling widely as she stared at the newcomer.
“C2 to E1! Checkmate!”
Chapter 2: (Light Gore) Like A Tide
Ages Prior:
The remains of the Equestrian Army stood as firm as they could, just across the field -even with the thick fog covering them- was a Caribou force, poised and ready to strike them down in their weakness. Celestia was still devastated by having to banish her sister, and Equestria was likewise reeling from it. Most of the ‘standing’ military (if they could be called more than reserves) had deserted and returned to their homes. Celestia, as much as it irked her that they’d abandon their own country, felt no desire to punish them. She too felt the desire to simply give up.
But, she couldn’t. Her ponies needed her strength and guidance through this harsh time. That’s why she was here with the remains of the Royal Guard, prepared to fight and die for the regular ponies that didn’t need to see this war.
Throughout the thin ranks of the Royal Guard tensions were high, they had no plans on turning face and running… but they new for certain without some sort of reinforcements or a miracle they’d all die out here.
Everything was made worse as they heard the loud beating of war drums ahead of them, the Caribou were rowdy and ready for the coming fight, they knew the ponies had little chance of standing against them if their scouts were to be believed, they would win this battle and take over a defenceless country.
Just as Celestia was about to give the order to fall into formation one of the Equestrian scouts returned, he had been sent out to locate any aid from anything nearby. He was panting heavily, clearly having flown here as fast as he could.
“P… Princess… I-I found help…” He breathed out, nearly collapsing on the spot.
“Y… you did? Who is it?” Celestia quickly asked, the guards around her perking up at that amazing news.
“I… I don’t know, t-they were already armored… t-they were riding on wolves and mammoths… I-I think they’ve been stalking the Caribou! T-the second I approached t-their leader rode up to me… i-it was like he knew I was coming…” The scout said.
“Mammoths?”
“Wolves?”
“Enough, let him speak!” Celestia ordered.
“Their leader… a-and a small detachment where behind me, the rest.. They’re p-planning on circling around the Caribou… they mean to slaughter them!” The scout continued.
Hope was growing stronger in the Royal Guards’ hearts, help was on the way!
Celestia created a silenced bubble around her forces, “Here me, soldiers of Equestria! Hope is not lost! We can win this day, a new force comes to join us in our fi-”
Her announcement was cut off as a massive pure black wolf walked in, atop it an equally huge stallion, his armor a mixture of iron and furs. His face though, was uncovered, his helmet in one hand, in the other a battle axe that’d stand as tall as any of the soldiers in Celestia’s army.
Her eyes fell upon him, studying him for a few moments, from everything she could see he appeared to be a hardened warrior. His icy blue furred face gave no indication of friendliness or ease. He was poised and ready for battle.
Though, he appeared as a sharp contrast to the twenty or so earthy toned stallions who came in on silver coated wolves behind him, the icy color of his coat, and the snow white mane made him quite clearly stand out if he didn’t have his armor on, or if he simply dismounted.
He seemed to likewise be studying her, and for a few moments, the heavily armed group that had come up from her forces’ rear didn’t seem so friendly. He set his helmet upon a holster on his beast’s saddle and then dismounted. He strode calmly over towards Celestia, making no gestures or even giving a sign that he cared about the guards raising their shields and weapons around him.
In truth it would have been a useless gesture had he tried to attack, his battle axe -which was now over his shoulder- would have cleaved through shield, armor, and bone alike.
“And who are you?” Celestia questioned, several guards taking position to defend her.
“N-no he’s their leader…” The scout coughed out.
“You should have stayed with our shamans, they’d have brought you back to health.” The stallion spoke, contrary to his rather icy appearance, his voice was truly warm and caring. He glanced down to the scout before unshackling a canteen from his waist and handing it to him. “Drink, it will revitalize you.”
The scout took it, and despite the unknown substance inside, drank. His thirst needed to be quenched, and this strange tasting liquid, though it nearly made him gag, was quenching it quite well.
“I am King Tharian.” The massive warrior-king introduced himself. “And these…” He motioned back to the riders who had come with him.
Upon noticing their king motioning to them they let out a shout and smashed their weapons against their shields, startling the guards who were near them.
“Are my loyal warriors.” He continued, extending a hand to her. Celestia cautiously took it. “Fear not, I, nor any of my warriors have any intention of attacking you.” He assured.
“You’ll forgive me if I’m a bit cautious…” She began.
“Yes, I understand that. It’s why I came instead of sending one of my Hands.” He said, taking his hand back. “I wished to inform you not to send your soldiers out. It’d be a pointless endevour.”
“How is that?”
“My warriors will be more than enough to decimate these wretches.” Tharian growled, glancing towards where he knew the Caribou would be. “They assume they can get away with the sacking and torching of one of our fellow tribes… they’ll regret it before long.” He squeezed the pole of his axe. “It just so happens that they’re also attacking you.” He offered her a smile, “Well, allow me to be the first to offer, I, and the tribes I lead, desire to join you today.”
“W… what?” Celestia coughed.
“As allies of course.” He laughed, “Let me share this victory with you as a first token of our friendship, and of course, you’re all invited to the celebration we’ll be having soon after.”
She couldn’t believe her ears, everything was against Equestria, and… these warriors, yes they appeared strong and fearsome… but this ‘detachment’ she expected a hundred stallions… yet there were less then fifty here! He had no army, this was a bluff, a ploy by the Caribou. They had to be changelings… there was no other way around it. She glanced down to the scout who was coughing a little.
“Gah… w-what was that?” The scout grunted.
“A potion, it’s meant to restore the spirit, though, from my experience it tastes like poor mead, and burns just as much.” Tharian chuckled, “Though, you should survive now. Exhaustion won’t take your life today.”
Celestia watched him for a few more moments, her magic slowly dissipating. Only when the barrier began to fall did they hear it… silence.
The Caribou’s war drums had stopped completely. Something was definitely wrong.
After a few moments more of silence they heard the war cries of the Caribou.
“GET IN FORMATION FORM A WALL!” Celestia’s voice boomed. The Royal guard immediately turtled up, forming a wall of shields and spears to prepare for the onslaught, they’d be tricked and lulled to let their guard do-
They heard what sounded like a trumpet in the distance, followed by much louder and more fierce war drums. The Caribou’s war cries died down, instead a sense of dread came over the field.
Then Tharian’s wolf came up to him and he unhooked a single large horn. He put it up to his lips and blew, the sound it let out was heard for miles around. But, something even louder sounded in return, another set of war cries. The fog had begun to lift, and they could make out shapes in the distance. Almost immediately, the thought of a ruse, or even a trick by the Caribou was thrown away, massive beasts were ramming into their lines.
Celestia magically forced the fog away, her curiosity getting the best of her. In a moment the entire line of Guards was witnessing the battle taking place. They saw mammoths towards a nearby treeline, drummers beating away at the war drums put atop them. Wolves were barreling through the Caribou lines, throwing -those unlucky enough to get surrounded- around like chew toys. Their riders were tearing through the others in some unholy berserk rage, caring little for the injuries the Caribou tried in vain to inflict.
It was an awesome sight to behold, the army that had just been threatening an entire country was now being beaten back by a massive horde of barbarians, their numbers seeming endless and their will seeming just as unbreakable as the tide.
Tharian was utterly silent, he seemed to be watching for something in specific.
“There were more with the…” He was cut off as guards on the left flank shouted and the clash of metal on metal was heard. Tharian shouted something that Celestia didn’t understand, and his warriors charged to join the fight. “Prepare yourself! They have magic too!” He said, hoisting his axe with both hands and readying himself for whatever may come.
The Royal Guards fell in on the Caribou attacking their flank, surrounding them all too easily.
Celestia felt the growing force of magic behind her and she spun around, Tharian seeming to notice it too. She was met with the General leading the Caribou forces, a sickening smile on his face. He didn’t care that his forces were dying, he wanted one thing alone. She felt the stab of magic as a bolt tore through her armor and hit her in the stomach, she was sent back into Tharian who easily supported her.
The unicorn who had attacked Celestia prepared a spell to hit Tharian, the stallion was unmoving however. “Fo-” The unicorn’s attempt at speaking was cut off as he was ripped to shreds by Tharian’s wolf, the beast biting hard into him nearly rending him in two.
Celestia magically braced her injury. She was so focused on the General in front of her that she definitely didn’t miss the look of utter terror on his face as a battle axe cleaved him in two.
Blood splattered and shot everywhere, covering Celestia and Tharian, the king proving to be incredibly agile and skilled with his impractical weapon. The head of his axe came to rest in the ground, every inch of it soaked in the dead General’s blood.
The Caribou attacking the Guard had witnessed him die so spectacularly, their will snapping as they realized this was pure suicide now. They had no hope of escape and those that weren’t willing to die surrendered.
The rest of their forces had already been routed, the tide washing over them proving to be unstoppable.
Celestia’s adrenaline wore off and she nearly collapsed, her magic beginning to fade as pain overtook her. Tharian was quick to kneel and help her down, applying pressure to her injury. The canteen the scout had handed back to Tharian was suddenly pressed to her lips. “Drink.” He gave one simple command, Celestia was too weak to resist, and as she did she felt the subtle magics of whatever was in the potions wash over her. The pain of the magically applied stab was beginning to dull, and she found Tharian applying less and less pressure as the bleeding slowed. Thankfully, that wasn’t her only treatment, as several medically trained Guards were quick to rush to her. Immediately they began to examine her body, making sure she’d be fine.
Celestia however wasn’t paying much attention to them. Tharian had pulled the canteen back from her lips and capped it. His tough visage had slipped as soon as the battle ended, and now she could see how much he did care about all of this. Though, right now he seemed to just be focused on her.
“The wound’s… closing?” One of the medics muttered.
“Thank you… Tharian.” Celestia said.
“For what? Isn’t this something friends should do?” He chuckled, glancing to his soldiers who were carrying wounded to the Equestrian lines, looking for some sembalence of aid.
“Go, make sure their forces are helped to.” Celestia said, waving the medics off of her.
“But… Princess…”
“Will I survive?” She asked.
“Yes…”
“And, is the wound healing on it’s own?”
“Yes.”
“Then go! Our allies need help too.” Celestia said, Tharian slowly helping her back up. She glanced to him, “I’m sorry for not trusting you.”
“Don’t be, I know the feeling of standing against everything… you had no reason to trust my intentions.” Tharian said, “I’m just glad everything turned out for the best here.”
Celestia glanced to the mangled body Tharian left behind, truly awe struck at his strength and speed, “As… am I.”
“Now, we have a celebration to begin, don’t we?” Tharian grinned, approaching his wolf (who was still eating the remains of the unicorn) and grabbed a second much smaller horn from it’s saddle. He handed it to Celestia, “It is your land, so why don’t you do the honors?”
Celestia was a tad curious now, so she blew the horn and a thunderous shout and stomping was heard. Tharian’s warriors clearly had been waiting for it to be sounded, and now the mammoths that had been in the distance approached, not only were they carrying drums and drummers, but massive barrels were affixed to their sides, she could only guess what they might contain.
The barrels were lowered and crates were dropped down as well, as soon as the barrels were cracked open and she wandered over with Tharian she noticed what was inside.
“Fresh mead for all!” Tharian yelled, before yelling something in his native language. His warriors responded by charging over, dipping horns that had been attached to their mounts saddles into the thick alcohol. Tharian did much the same after his wolf finally arrived, having taken part of the Caribou General’s body with him. He offered the horn to Celestia. “Did you want a drink?”
Celestia was silent for a few seconds before swipping it out of his hand and downing it. In truth, she wasn’t a heavy drinker, but she did enjoy the taste of good alcohols, and this… ooh boy, if she had enough of it she’d be sure to turn into an alcoholic. Tharian laughed loudly, walking to one of the crates and wrenching it open, revealing the food stashed inside, “If any of you are hungry, come eat! And join us in drinks! You’ve all earned it!” He shouted to the Equestrian forces, his soldiers offering their filled horns to share.
From all accounts there, it was the beginning of Equestria’s most fruitful and close ally. These horses, simply calling themselves Tribesmen, proved to be a strong and sure partner whenever they were needed, always there to share food, and beer with any guards they came across.
Present:
Celestia stood up from her chair and teleported herself in front of Tharian, hugging him tightly.
The stallion slammed his axe into the ground, returning the hug in full. “It’s good to see you again!” He smiled, letting go of her and stepping back, “It’s been far too long…”
“Yes, yes it has.” Celestia smiled widely, “I’m so happy you’re alright!”
She expected him to laugh, and make some joke about it. Instead he frowned a little. “Yes… I am.” He sighed.
Author's Note
I honestly don't know if I'm getting better at writing these types of scenes, though they are fun to write!
Celestia’s smile was beginning to fade completely. “Come, sit.” She lead him to sit down at the table. Luna and Chrysalis staring wide-eyed at the massive stallion, who was big enough to tower over Celestia by at least a full foot.
“I’m in need of help… so, so badly…” Tharian began quietly. “I…”
“Tharian. Don’t.” Celestia assured, “You’ve been here when I needed somepony to speak to, when I felt at my most alone, you’ve defended Equestria for no reason other than our friendship. My ponies and your horses can’t even speak to each other, yet they’ve come to our aid time and time again. I couldn’t ask anything more from you.” She stated, putting a hand on his shoulder.
Tharian smiled slightly.
“I was already in the process of getting Cadance and Shining to send scouts out to make sure you and your tribe were alive, knowing that you are, but in danger… I’ll have food and whatever else you need gathered and brought to your tribe.” Celestia stated. “Just tell us what you need…” She motioned to Luna who had straightened up now, as she had realized how much Celestia trusted him.
“Thank you.” Tharian said, looking over at Luna and Chrysalis. “And you both too.”
“I have nothing to do with Equestrian politics in this regard… though, I will also help in what ways I can.” Chrysalis said.
“Of course, any ally of Equestria, or friend of Celestia’s, is a friend of mine. I’m sure my bat ponies will be more than willing to help in whatever ways they can.” Luna nodded.
“Now that the true dangers are cleared up… Chrysalis, Luna, I’d like to introduce you to one of my oldest friends, this is Tharian. Tharian, these are my sister, Luna.” She motioned to the lunar princess who waved at Tharian, “And Queen Chrysalis of the…”
“Now Everfree Hive. It’s a pleasure.” Chrysalis shot him a sly grin. “Stud.” She teased.
Celestia glared at Chrysalis for a moment, “You must have traveled quite some time…”
“I’ve been on the road alone for several weeks, yes.” Tharain nodded.
“Come, I’ll take you to a room and have some maids lay out clothes for you… you… haven’t grown much in the past three years, have you?” Celestia asked.
“Oooh, even if I have, I wouldn’t mind g-”
“I know.” Celestia stifled a laugh. “But, the nobles would, at least they wouldn’t want their wives fawning any more over you. And, I highly doubt my sister or should Cadance and Twilight’s Foals make a sudden apperence… well I doubt they’d want to see you in the buff.”
Tharian laughed, a booming and truly happy one, “Yes, I suppose so.” He stood up, “And truly, thank you all… you honestly can’t understand how much this means to me… and how much it hurts to have to ask…”
“Tharian, you’ve done so much for us, the least we can do is ensure your horses don’t starve. Now, I have courtly duties to attend to today… tonight however, after dinner, why don’t we start a new game?” Celestia offered, leading him out of the throne room.
“That’d be wonderful.” Tharian said, readily following her out.
Now Luna and Chrysalis were left alone, and without the once intimidating stallion in the room they truly relaxed, both staring wide-eyed at each other.
“He… took the door nearly off it’s hinges… w-with one swing…” Luna scoffed, “And t-that thing, it looks straight out of myth… i-it can’t be physically possible to lift, let alone… carrying it for several weeks?”
“How is h-he so damn big? H-he’s larger than even minotaurs! I-it’s like he’s almost the size of a smaller dragon!” Chrysalis stammered, the two mares staring at the axe he had left in the ground, two guards struggling to pull it from the stone it was lodged in. “H-heh… if one of them managed to pull it completely out without magic… I guess we could name them king…” She joked.
Luna laughed quietly. “I… I guess so. It’d be a feat if they could even lift it with magic too…” She slowly stood up and walked over to it.
“Gods… the last time this happened…” The first guard grunted.
“I know! We won’t get it out before he comes back down! It’ll be Princess Celestia who gets it again!” The second guard retorted.
“I don’t want to buy rounds for everypony again! The two of them drunk the bar dry last time! I would have been broke for two months had Princess Celestia not reimbursed me!” The first guard growled. “I won’t lose again!”
“You’re bitching about buying rounds? The castle gets destroyed when he decides he wants a party! We were cleaning the whole place up for a full week!” The second grumbled, “And there were triple the workers from all over helping!”
Luna paused, her sister, drinking? Allowing a castle trashing party to take place? “Excuse me?” Luna asked, startling the two guards.
“P-Princess Luna! We’re so sorry we didn’t notice you there!” The first guard saluted.
“We’re trying to get King Tharian’s axe out of the ground before the nobles show up!” The second stammered.
“No, you’re doing it because there’s some sort of bet going on when he shows up, isn’t there?” Luna inquired. “I’m not angry, mind you. I’m curious.”
Chrysalis had likewise joined in. “What was this about Celestia drinking a bar dry?”
“Our- My sister doesn’t drink. I would know it.” Luna crossed her arms. “You’d better not be spreadin-”
“We’d never spread rumors or lies about either of you!” The first guard stated. “It’s the truth! W-when he showed up here… o-out of the blue nearly four years ago now…”
“He shattered the door on contact! It just gave way, and he slammed his axe into the ground. I-it’s always been a bet that whoever can pull the axe out of the ground doesn’t have to pay for any rounds if he decides to go out drinking… and he usually does. It’s always been to specific bars and taverns in the city…” The second guard explained.
“They hold it as an honor when he and Celestia show up. They take over the bar and try to out drink each other for a full night…”
“They’ve drained all the good places in town before… Leaving Canterlot dry for a full week!”
“S-somepony had the courage to ask her why she only drinks like that when he’s around… and she said, that she feels more sure with herself around him, just… letting go of all pretenses. When they’re together, she always comes out so much happier for so long… t-though it wasn’t nearly as happy as she was when you returned Princess! It’s just… she doesn’t feel as constrained, as he’s always wanted honesty in the way others treat him…”
“Just wait until you see how he reacts to the nobles.”
“They despise him to the fullest.”
“My… I can’t wait.” Luna grinned, she glanced to Chrysalis.
“Mmm, it should be fun.” Chrysalis laughed.
Luna’s magic surrounded the axe and she attempted to shift it enough for the two guards to get it out.
The guards looked at each other, “T-thank you Princess!” They saluted.
“You’re welcome.” She smiled, “Now… when my sister comes back down, do tell her that I went to my room. I need a bit of time to think on all of this.”
“We will!” The guards nodded, hefting up their prize and victory, a gleeful look on their faces.
“So… this is just normal?” Chrysalis asked.
“We were trained to deal with him… it’s been part of the Guard culture for hundreds of years now.” The first guard said.
“Prince Shining took him on in a wrestling match just for the hell of it.” The second said. “Of course he lost…”
“It’d have been a story never let down had he won.”
“But, it definitely raised his status when he was hauled around with Tharian for his entire stay.” The second finished.
“My, I’m surprised I’ve never heard about him until last night…” Chrysalis hummed.
“He shows up on a whim, and he hasn’t let Celestia come to his castle…”
“He didn’t want her getting caught up there if a massive blizzard tore through. Or gods forbid a Wendigo decided to rear its’ ugly head.”
“So, you’re saying he shows open care for her?” Chrysalis asked.
“Of course! They’re close friends!”
“Alright, thank you for the information.” Chrysalis said, walking back to her chair to wait for Celestia to return, with or without Tharian.
Meanwhile:
Celestia had taken Tharian up to her room, allowing him to use her bath and shower as it was outfitted for a large alicorn, it fit him a bit better than the smaller showers and baths in the castle.
“Aaah… it’ll be nice to bathe.” Tharian stretched, letting his snow white mane down from the confines of his helmet. He threw it to the ground and stepped into the bathroom.
“Your clothes will be waiting out here for you, once you’re dressed please come back down to the throne room.” Celestia said, turning around.
“I will!” Tharian said, the clanking of his armor hitting the ground was nearly music to Celestia’s ears.
She was used to him being immodest, never being a prude, it wasn’t an uncommon sight in the early days for him to be in the nude. Despite her reaction to Chrysalis’ statement about him, in all definitions of it… he was a stud. It made her quiver a little, thinking that he was nude, just a wall between them. Hell, there was less than that… she could just peek inside and get a glimpse of his masculine form, the body that was tempered and forged in battle… scars and muscles intertwining across his chest, legs, and arms. Some of which were there because of her, which made her want him even more.
Yes, here in Equestria she could have any stallion, who wouldn’t have desired to be with her? But, Tharian had always been there for her, when she needed him, he’d come, when she felt alone, he’d be there… He was unlike any stallion she had ever met prior, at least for her he was.
Sadly, she had resigned herself to not being with him, neither would abandon their subjects. It was a harrowing feeling, knowing that such a caring and strong stallion was alone most of the time. At least, alone in a more intimate sense… for her, she didn’t care about sex, she just wanted to be close to him and never leave.
Chrysalis had been right last night, her heart had been beating much faster as she thought about him. Everything pointed to her being in love with him, and she was sure he felt the same way…
“Gods… Tharian…” Celestia muttered, unknowing that Tharian likewise was waiting with bated breath.
Hearing his name, his ears perked up, “Is something wrong, Celestia?” His voice caused her to jump.
“No! No, nothing’s wrong…” She replied, “Just lost in thought.”
“Ah…” He mumbled. “I’ll talk to you again when I’m finished.”
“Alright, I’ll be waiting.” Celestia sighed, walking back down to the throne room.
It was nearly twenty minutes before Tharian felt clean enough to finally step out of the shower. It had been in truth the first shower he had in months, far too many things consuming his time for him to truly worry about himself. Now that he was clean he was already beginning to feel much better.
He usually wasn’t left alone for very long, Celestia almost always wanting to chat and just let the day fade into obscurity. But, he couldn’t feel any approaching presences, and Celestia wasn’t waiting for him to come out.
He slowly walked around, examining her room for a moment.
He was used to the rather plain and simple stone fortress he had been calling home for ages. The only coverings were in the mead hall and throne room. His room was simply used for sleeping, and nothing else. But, it appeared that she spent plenty of time here, a desk was out for writing, several book shelves were filled to the brim, things were neatly stacked on various tables and dressers.
Tharian couldn’t help but laugh, she lived like a true princess, to the very t of being regal and ‘pretentious’ at least until he arrived. He knew in the coming few days, if not in the next few hours, he’d see a definite change in the way she acted. She’d be less the princess that every guard, noble, and perhaps her sister, came to expect, and become more of the rowdy, boisterous, and open mare and friend he knew quite well.
He sighed quietly, walking to the foot of the massive bed she slept in. In truth, he didn’t want to invite her up to his home not just because of the weather and chance she’d be stuck there all winter- as little a problem as that’d be for them- but, there was very little in the way of, well anything.
Unlike ponies, his species had to contend with the weather and beasts alike. Up north, you were strong and hardy, or you’d be left to die by some monster. Here, they had magic and pegasi that could do things on a whim, weather seemed to be perfect. If there was a blizzard, it was pre-planned, a rainstorm? Easy to handle. Thunderstorm? Nothing a few weather ponies couldn’t take care of.
He sat down on the bed, thinking more deeply. His people starving wasn’t the only thing troubling him. There were many other things as well, namely an ancient thing seemed to be stirring.
First the vanishing fishing boats no more than a year ago… the only survivor he had found spoke of something in the depths, a beast of unknown power and presence… then the mysterious death of the crops, the fields plowed the day before, only to have the soil destroyed and rendered useless.
Then there was him.
In truth, neither of these things scared him . Nothing did. Why should he be scared? They can’t kill him .
Only she can.
That thought made him cringe. Yes, at heart he was a warrior, plain and simple. He had always been one. But underneath that ferocity and courage lay a king. It’s why his people elected him as their permanent ruler. He didn’t even remember for how long he’d been ruling, had it been several millennia now, the years before coming in contact with Equestria seemed moot. All the years seeming empty and hollow. All except one, the first memory he had.
Pain, such unbridled pain. It was as if something had been driven through his very essence, but, there was nothing, no weapon, no injuries… just him and the bloodied snow around. It was the first time he remembered anything, the agony, the cold, the fear . He didn’t know why he was scared… he felt invincible on that day. He felt like he had risen , but, still he feared something. Even now he couldn’t place a finger on it. But it was always there… even when he was alone it remained.
Hell, when he’d befriended Celestia, it grew worse. So much worse…
Was he scared of causing pain? That made no sense, he reveled in battle and victory. It was his nature, that of a warrior. But still, he made home in peace…
Was he scared of death? No, he’d found out time and time again, death was no longer coming for him, he’d survived brutal injuries that’d have permanently crippled others.
At that thought he ran a finger over a group of scars on his chest, a place where a wendigo had tried to tear him in two.
What was he scared of? No matter how hard he thought… no, that wasn’t the truth either. He was scared of it , something more ancient than even he.
The pain, the bloodied snow, the satiating of a deep hunger… that wasn’t his first memory. Not if he thought hard enough. Sometimes, amidst his dreamless sleeps he saw it, memories even older.
Runes, he could only vaguely read, as if something was locking their meaning away…
Thinking back on them too long made his head hurt, but something deep down told him, he needed to remember . He shook the thoughts from his head, trying to clear his mind.
His head was still pounding, and now he felt something welling in his stomach. A small rumbling, now he felt a bit of relief, maybe he was just stressed out. It had been months since he’d been able to actually rest, and with the stress of his people starving no longer an issue, he could do just that.
But, it had also been nearly a day since he last ate… his supplied did run out on the way here...
“Yes… food would be amazing.” Tharian chuckled, rubbing his stomach. He slowly stood up, beginning to get dressed. It didn’t take him long to get ready, and it took even less time for him to get back down to the throne room.
Though, immediately he wished he hadn’t come so soon...
Tharian’s face fell the moment he laid eyes on the gathering of the Royal Court. Namely, the presence of the nobles and of course Prince Blueblood. He wouldn’t have minded so much if they hadn’t all stopped what they were doing to glare at him.
“What is that barbarian doing here?” One of them spoke.
“Why weren’t we alerted?”
“My question is how didn’t you hear me nearly hack that…” Tharian pointed to the door he had nearly detached with his axe, “Door down, or had seen it.”
“Yes, you do tend to make us replace it with every visit.” Celestia chuckled, trying to hide her amusement.
“We’ve had events like that happening recently, what with those two little hellions.” Another scoffed.
“They aren’t hellions. They’re foals.” Celestia retorted.
“Psh, their parents should still learn to control them.”
“Is that projection I hear?” Chrysalis mused.
“Shut it, just because you’re considered ‘good’ by the commoners doesn’t mean we like you.” A noble snapped.
“Auntie, I demand that these two things be dragged out of this court! They don’t nee-” Blueblood was cut off.
“Chrysalis and Tharian are not things , Blueblood.” Celestia snapped, causing all eyes to turn to her. Usually she remained passive, though, she never gave into the nobles demands, but for once she was truly standing up and stamping her foot down. “Tharian is here to make sure his subjects survive a harsh winter. They’re starving, and we’re one of his few allies. Due to this help in the past, and his willingness to support us, I have decided to send his kingdom aid in whatever form he requires. Which, leads me into the next thing…”
“Woah! You’re just going to steal from us to give to him? That’s far from fair! If they can’t survi-” The noble cut himself off, and now there was an icy chill in the room.
“No. Go ahead. Speak.” Tharian ordered. “I desire to hear what you think.” He cracked his knuckles in a threatening manner. “Were you going to say my tribe should just starve? Or, freeze to death? Or die? It’s no wonder your very presence caused all but the guards ordered to stay here to leave. I’m sure they all had patrols they forgot about until your arrival… it’s no wonder you confine yourself to the castle and your manors. You wouldn’t survive a single day if some real threat came to your doorstep.”
The noble straightened up, the others around him supporting him. “You’re just some… relic. You and your kind stay stuck in your ancient ways.”
“Ways that have allowed you to live. Or, should we, stuck in our ancient and time honored ways, have just abandoned your army to their demise hundreds of years ago? Even if that thought had crossed my mind, I would have shut it down in a moment.” Tharian growled. “You believe me to be a barbarian. Yet, it seems those who’ve chosen me as their leader are more civilized then something that calls itself ‘noble’. Ha. If you’re truly worthy of following then I’ll lay down my crown and abandon everything I’ve fought for. Prove me wrong, I fucking dare you.” He glared at the noblemen.
“I, nor anypony I’ve fought beside, can claim to be the sole reason Equestria’s survived. No amount of warriors defending you, nor lives sacrificed, mean anything without a strong and sure leader to bring you all together.” He glanced to Celestia who had calmed back down. “I won’t threaten your life, nor anypony’s here. Yet, you threaten the very survival of a species, for what? Petty grievances because you know little of us?” He growled, dropping down into a chair.
“And you dare call me a barbarian.” He scoffed, crossing his arms.
None of the nobles spoke.
Chrysalis was just staring at Tharian, a small grin on her face.
“No ‘witty’ retorts, or ‘clever’ jabs?” Tharian asked. “What, did I catch you off guard?”
“You caught me off guard…” Chrysalis mumbled quietly.
“Y-you won’t hear the end of this… w-w…”
“What will you do? I’d applaud you if you attempted to stand before this order. But, I doubt there will be a single pony who will allow for any helping hand to be stopped.” Celestia stated. “If you desire to fight, should I contact Twilight and Arkantos? It’d be quite…” She clicked her tongue, “Uncouth, to interrupt their long planned vacation… They definitely wouldn’t be too happy… neither would Cadance or Shining, having to miss seeing their little niece and nephew. Imagine that… two more Princesses angered by your inability to help… Not to mention having the guard turned against you by angering Shining… or gods forbid… After Arkantos’ near sacrifice to defend ponies he didn’t know, let alone who thought ill of him… I’m sure the citizens of Canterlot, would adore seeing him angry at you.” She mused.
Both Tharian and Chrysalis were watching Celestia now.
Tharian was supremely interested in seeing Celestia act like this… her truly hidden ferocity and force made him just desire her completely.
Chrysalis was rather surprised by this, Celestia tended to be kind and caring, even when shutting down bad ideas… but this, this was truly something she stood behind. Gods forbid the nobles try to stand between her and her goal now…
“Not to mention Ponyville falling completely out of your grasp… oooh, then there’s their friends… my, I’m sure several of them would have some very vocal opposition to your attempts to starve another country.” While she was speaking she had teleported an inkwell, quill, and paper to her throne. Even half-paying attention to it, she was still writing out a letter in a painfully slow manner. “Now, I’m sure you’d all definitely come out juuuusssst fine from it… even having all of you denounced publicly… to all nations, even if the Tribes have very little in the way of allies… for years now, they’ve had very little in the way of enemies… I doubt anypony besides the most disgusting and vile creatures would support your decision to let innocent citizens die off…” She tapped her chin, now finishing the letter. Her magic rolled it up and sent it off.
In that moment all of the nobles hearts sank immediately, existential dread thick in the air. Chrysalis was awe-struck, but Tharian was on the verge of laughter. She looked over to him and he leaned in.
“She wasn’t writing a letter about this…” He whispered to Chrysalis. “But, just wait… they’ll all cave.”
“W… wh-what blocking?” A noble finally spoke.
“I don’t remember… a-anything about blocking anything!”
“Yeah! W-we’ll send what ever support we can provide…”
“In fact, we’ll… s-start it!” One last noble spoke before they all bolted out of the room.
Blueblood was left speechless, two god like entities, and one ancient king staring at him.
“Well, Blueblood, did you have anything to say?” Celestia smiled innocently.
“Y… you… j-just…” He mumbled.
“What did I do? I was just making sure Tharian’s kingdom doesn’t starve.” Celestia said.
Blueblood turned and ran from the room.
“That issues been solved.” Celestia sighed, looking to Tharian. “Now, since they won’t be bothering anypony else today, what should we do?”
“Food.” Tharian stated firmly.
“Then food it is!” Celestia grinned, her magic summoning a butler.
“Yes, Princess?” The butler asked.
“Please alert the cooks that we have a code teal.” Celestia said, “And get the first round out here as quickly as possible.”
“Yes, Princess.” He nodded, leaving the throne room.
“This… is going to be interesting.” Chrysalis muttered to herself.
Meanwhile:
Twilight had just settled down on the beach, Spike was content to mess around on his own, only coming over to give her the letter Celestia had just sent. “You… did tell her you’re on vacation, right?” He asked.
“Of course! I’m sure she’s just checking up on us, don’t worry.” Twilight smiled.
“Oooh, great!” Spike grinned. “So, what does it say?”
“What does what say?” Arkantos asked as he walked up to the two from the water, he was soaked head to toe, having gotten into a wrestling match with Rainbow Dash- the pegasus having taken him into the air and throwing him down into the water, in return she got a full blast of water to the face and was now coughing it up- and was just coming back to sit beside Twilight.
“Celestia sent a letter.” She unrolled it, and searched over it for a few moments. “Oooh boy…” She whistled. Everypony else gathered around, wanting to know what was so important. “Well, looks like after we’re done with our little vacation, all of you are going to be lucky enough to meet another world leader.” She shook her head. “Ark, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, please promise me something.”
“What?” The three asked.
“You won’t get involved in any drinking matches he starts… I don’t want any of you being overly humillated… and I honestly don’t want you encouraging him to keep going. Last time he came to the castle hammered… well, it was like a two pony riot occurred.”
“What do you mean?” Arkantos asked.
“The north barracks was trashed, half the throne room was dismantled, both magically, and hacked apart with an axe… they nearly torched the library…” Twilight began to name of a looooong list of events that occurred. Everypony was speechless.
“No, you don’t mean he’s shown up…” Spike muttered.
“Yep. And Celestia wants us to meet him.” Twilight nodded.
“Wait, you said two ponies, right? Who was the other besides this mysterious brute of a stallion.” Rarity asked.
“Celestia.”

Chapter 6: Lust
In Canterlot later that night:
Celestia and Tharian had both retired to her room after dinner. The day had been relatively uneventful and quite boring compared to the morning, but now they were situated comfortably, deep in the midst of yet another game of chess.
The room had to be cleaned up after Chrysalis threw a near fit after waiting for nearly two hours for some sort of head to the tension between the two. Though, neither of them seemed to notice it, at least not then.
Now the room felt hot and stuffy. It was beginning to get uncomfortable, and it didn’t help Celestia’s situation that Therian had decided to peel off his shirt. Usually she wouldn’t even give it a second glance, having seen him in this near nude state plenty of times. But now, the sweat glistening off his toned body just drew her eyes to it. It didn’t help that she knew some of the scars on it, how he’d have given his life to protect her and others, both now and as far back as she could remember.
Therian noticed she was zoning out a little, “Celestia? It’s your move.” He said, trying to at least keep up the game.
“Huh, oh… right.” Celestia mumbled looking back down at the board. She began to move a piece, “Therian, can you tell me something?”
“Of course.” He chuckled. “What do you want to know.”
“Do you have… anypony back at your home?” She asked, finishing her move.
He like wise made a move, “No. I do not.” He said calmly. “Why the sudden interest, don’t tell me you’re going to freak out too.” He teased.
“No, I won’t. I’ve just been… thinking. You’ve been worrying me a whole lot more recently. I just feel like…”
“We’re missing something?” He offered, watching her mirror his move.
“Yes. Just, as many suitors as have tried to court me, they just… well, aren’t what I want.” Now the heat was getting unbearable for her, or… was it really? She slowly slipped her dress off, leaving her in just her bra and panties. She magically scooped it up and threw it off to the side, wanting to get out of the confines it presented. Now she caught him staring at her every now and again, though it wasn’t just her breasts he was focused on. His gaze was shifting all over her body, almost like he enjoyed every inch of it. “But, it’s just been… hard to find what I want.”
“We’ve been friends forever now… so, why don’t you let me in on what you want?” Therian mused, underneath the table he was steadily removing his pants and underwear, honestly getting hot himself, and not just because of the temperature in the room any more. With how much he sweated whenever he was down here it was no wonder she could detect the faintest wisps of his musk.
Gods did it make her feel hotter. “Somepony strong… not just physically either. Those types are easy to come by.” She breathed, “Intelligent… he has to be willing to protect me, regardless of what comes…” She moved yet another piece, “Of course, he has to be caring, brave…”
“Mmm…” Tharian muttered, watching her magically undo her bra.
“He has to care about me… though I won’t fault him for caring about a lot of others too…” She licked her lips, her thighs pressing tighter together as she watched him just stare at her uncovered bust, the voluptuous G’s were something many desired to see. His musk only grew stronger at the sight. “He smells wonderful… always knows how to surprise me in all the right ways…”
“Celestia.” Tharian stated, slowly pushing himself up.
“And by the GODS I want him to fuck me to death right now… I have for so damn long.” Celestia panted, watching him rise, her eyes tracing down to his half hard cock, already massive at a full foot, but he was far from done. “Tharian. You’re the reason why I can’t find anypony… I don’t want any other stallion, they aren’t yo -” She let out a loud scream, which was cut off completely as he tackled her, the now horny stallion pressing his lips to hers. She moaned wholeheartedly into it, running her hands over his back. She was surprised as he lifted her up, digging his fingers deep into her flank. She pulled back from his lips.
Tharian had a fire she’d never seen before in his eyes, and it was only compounded as his now rock-solid cock was raging up her back. She yelped as he threw her onto the bed and walked up. She turned herself around, making sure to bury her face in his massive sack. He let out a loud groan, his hand pushing her deeper in, smearing the sweaty orbs all over her nose.
She’d dreamt of something like this happening before, but the reality of it was so much hotter. “I’m not going to hold back on you…” He growled, dragging her face up to his shaft, which she lovingly nuzzled and gripped with both hands.
“I wouldn’t want you to…” She breathed, licking the sweaty sheen from his horsemeat. She was by no means a virgin, even taking one or two guards every few months or so, just to sate her own libido, but the tastes she had of cock was nothing compared to his. It was made even more tantalizing as she shouldn’t be doing this. It was wrong on so many levels, and it’d be horrible if anypony found out. Though, they’d have to deal with that tomorrow.
She moved her hands up and down his shaft, pumping and massaging it. She could barely get one hand fully around the monstrous meat, and she knew there was no way she’d be left able to feel anypony else after he was done. “Breasts.” He commanded, causing her to shiver.
She was a god, and he was just immortal, but something primal told her to obey. Even if it hadn’t, she couldn’t have resisted, she wanted to rub as much of her body as possible against him, to never forget this night, or any others to follow.
Her massive teats enraptured his shaft, though not completely a good few inches sticking out, which she eagerly sucked down, swirling her tongue around his flat tip, drinking down his pre as it poured out. She squeezed and massaged his shaft as best she could with her breasts, wanting to egg him on to cum, though knowing him, he’d be bringing her to orgasm many, many times before he even blew once.
However, Tharian was enjoying himself, finally having her like this was something he had wanted for so long. He moaned loudly as her tongue pressed against his cum-slit, lapping up his pre as it came out. “You’re wonderful…” He breathed, thrusting upwards, pushing his tip deeper in, already threatening to dip into her throat. She willingly took it in, trying to suck down more of his shaft. The glorious princess of the sun, was behaving like a love-struck filly before him, and he was just as love-struck. She coughed loudly as his cock was withdrawn from her throat and mouth.
Tharian turned her around, pointing her soaked panties right at his face, with a single motion, he snapped the thin piece of fabric apart, revealing her leaking and winking slit as well as the tight ass above. Her tail was already hiked up, not even attempting to hide her arousal, “Tharian… please…” She panted as he took in her hormone riddled scent. If he hadn’t been horny before, he’d be ready to breed her now. Never before had she felt like this for anypony, and he was probably going to outlast her, and the thought of him using her unconscious body as a fuck toy made her grow even wetter. She cast a simple, but powerful spell, making sure she wouldn’t end up pregnant.
He leaned in and ran his tongue slowly up her lips, causing the alicorn to shiver violently. “Nnnn…” She moaned, her head falling forward. Her magic groped around, finally landing on her panties, which were magically sent off in a single moment, their intended target wasn’t Spike however… both Twilight and Arkantos would be getting quite the surprise, wherever they were.
However, that was the last bit of conscious magic she used as his hand came down hard on her flank, causing her to yelp. “YES!” She screamed out, trying- in vain- to shake her hips, enticing him to slap her ass again, this time roughly groping it.
“You won’t be walking tomorrow…” He growled quietly, “And if you are… I’ll just fuck you more on your throne…” He buried his snout in her cunt once more, hungrily eating her out.
“Please… please even if I can’t … please fuck me anywhere! I don’t care, I just want you !” Celestia moaned, her lusts fully taking over.
By now, the guards were unsure on whether or not they should enter, sure, Celestia was screaming but… the things they heard. Did they really want to risk getting their dicks ripped off for cockblocking the princess?
Celestia was about to find out one special thing Tharian and other like him had, she felt her walls clasp and her entire body tense up as he drew her to a massive orgasm, simply by grinding his tongue against her cervix. She couldn’t even breathe as her mind was overloaded, and he didn’t stop. “THARIAN!” She managed to scream out, shaking to room a little bit. With his name being screamed to the heavens the king snorted, his head reeling back. He was quick to scoop her up, pressing her chest to his. As she came down from her earth shattering high, she realized what was about to happen.
Tharian’s look was truly possesive, and it made her shiver even more. Her arms wrapped around the back of his neck, her legs around his waist.
“One day… one day you’ll bear us both heirs…” He breathed approaching the door with her.
“You’re damn right.” She whispered, kissing him deeply.
“Until then…” Her back hit the door. “I’m going to fill you… every night I’m here…” He teased his tip against her waiting pussy. “We’ll trash every room in this castle… stain your room, your throne… everything we can with my seed… so you’ll never forget.”
“How could I forget you?” Celestia moaned as his cock split her, stretching her to the point where she was being forcefully reshaped to his cock. As she began to assume he’d take it slow, she found herself enthralled by how fiery and rough he could truly be. He slammed himself into her, though the first violent thrust may have cracked the door, it only managed to bruise her cervix, not break through it. She screamed once again, the feeling of being stretched to the breaking point and claimed was too much for her body to handle all at once.
Her magic sparked and shot across the room as her body quaked and tightened around him, things were flying around the room, or being magically sent elsewhere. Namely, various letters and books were being sent directly to Spike… (Gods rest his poor soul)
“FUCK!” He growled, trying desperately to force the last half of his cock into her. By the gods, he managed to make headway.
“NNNNAAAAAH!” She screeched, feeling her now one and only lover claim her depths with his mighty stallionhood. He reeled back snorting and slamming her roughly into a nearby wardrobe, though once she was removed from the door, it simply crumbled, the magic and the force of her body hitting it were too much for the wooden object to handle.
The wardrobe cracked and Celestia thrust her hips down against his cock, receiving a mighty slam into her depths in return. “HARDER!” She growled, now showing a strength he adored .
“I WILL BREAK YOU!” He shouted in return, pulling out to the tip, giving all the ponies gathered in the hall a full view of all two feet of his juice covered cock. This next thrust caused her to gasp, the force feeling like a gut punch, leaving yet another permanent dent in the wardrobe, though everything inside was already knocked down. She let out another scream, burying her face in his neck as he finally stopped just using rough thrusts, and was now rutting her like the mare in heat that she was. She barely managed to wrap her wings around him, trying to connect with as much of his body as possible.
Every thrust caused the wardrobe she was pinned against to shake and crack even more, and he showed no signs of letting up. His chillingly cool breath was rushing past her ear, which he was now nibbling on.
His heavy sack, despite being swollen to an uncomfortable size and slapping hard against the wood, appeared to do little to hinder his thrusts, or even his movement. She was hauled back, leaving the wardrobe to fall apart as he slammed her into the table that their chess game was still laid out on, everything being scattered everywhere if it wasn’t immediately smashed. Now he was rutting her hard on the floor, Celestia moaning and grunting with every harsh thrust. Despite how painful it looked, Celestia was feeling no pain, her body already getting used to being treated so roughly.
“Out of my way! I ne-” Luna stopped as she finally was able to see inside the room.
Neither of the two breeding were even interested in anypony else, Luna’s voice doing little to shake either of their needs to fuck.
“So hot… so tight…” Tharian groaned, gripping her ass and digging his fingers and palms into her cheeks.
“So big… so thick…” Celestia replied, tightening her grip around his neck and waist. “Slam me on the bed… break it in two…” She pleaded, “I need you to destroy it… destroy everything in here…”
With her request Tharian somehow managed to rise, grinding her up and down his shaft, he backed up towards the bed, Celestia’s eyes widening as he suddenly pulled completely out of her, the next thing she knew, she hit the bed hard . The bed snapped on impact, only splintering more as Tharian dove on top of her taking her doggy style now, though he was driving hard into her ample hips, her body not finding the strength to rise.
“YOU TWO STOP RIGHT NOW!” Luna shouted.
“Nnnaaa… f-fuck off…” Tharian growled angrily, slapping Celestia’s jiggly ass, causing her to moan.
“J-just… l-leave us Luna… I-I want this…” Celestia grunted, his thrust coming in much harder now.
“No! You’re going to make fools of Equestri-”
“FUCK WHAT THE WORLD THINKS!” Tharian’s voice boomed, Celestia’s eyes widening as she felt his flare wrench open her cervix, permanently opening it for him. Her breath caught in her throat as a shockingly cold fluid pumped into her. Where it should have been like magma, it was like liquid gas, so cold that it made her squirm. “We need each other.” Tharian grunted, wrapping his arms around Celestia, still attempting to drive his flared and spasming cock in and out of her.
“C-c-cold… s-s-so cold…” Celestia shivered, her walls clasping around the contrastingly hot cock lodged in her. “Oooh gods… Th-Tharian…”
Tharian leaned down and kissed her deeply, his hands groping her breasts. Now that his sack was resting against her leg she could feel it throb even more, there was no way in hell that he was finished.
“Everypony back! Make sure this hallway is secure, nopony else is allowed to see this, do you hear me?” Luna ordered, trying to magically reseal the utterly destroyed door. There was a light gurgling which caused her to pause. Now she could see steam rising from Celestia’s cunt, clearly freezing cum drooling out of her as too much was being pumped in.
“F-fill me more…” Celestia whined quietly as his lips left hers.
“All… night… long you’re mine…” Tharian grunted, thrusting his now unflared cock back into her womb, squirting his thick and chilling seed out of her marehood. “And… I won’t stop until I’m empty…”
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chrysalis was quiet, glaring quietly at the wall. “I’m not… blushing…” She muttered.
“Mmmhm.” Tharian sighed, “I’m not going to press.” He chuckled.
“Sure.” Chrysalis shifted, pressing closer to his surprisingly nice and cool body. “Sure you won’t…”
“I won’t. If you have something to hide, then I’ll let it rest.” He assured, caressing her arm.
Chrysalis sighed. “I’m really beginning to see why she likes you.”
“Chrysalis…” He began quietly.
“What?” She asked.
“We’ve waited nearly nine hundred years… to even speak to each other as more than friends. I was… scared of harming her. When we met, she was in mourning. She lost her sister, and everything seemed against her.” He sighed. “The thought of hurting her in any way still sickens me. It’s one of the things I fear.”
Chrysalis fell silent, closing her eyes and listening.
“You… and Luna both seem to believe this was something overnight… like we did it without a thought or care in the world. Maybe we didn’t care what happened… or who found us. We just… needed each other. Or… at least I needed her.” Tharian said, slowly sitting up. Chrysalis moved up with him. The changeling queen could feel his heart sinking with every word. “I… can’t tell her that I regret it. That I regret pulling her this deep into my life when things are beginning to slip and crumble.”
“Tharian.” She tried to stop him.
“No. Listen, just… listen.”
“I won’t. You damnable idiot. Just… you love her. There’s no way around that. And that’s why you feel fear for hurting her. Feel scared of bringing her in when things could very well fall apart… but, like you said, you need her. Don’t give your love a second thought. And DON’T say you regret what you did. That’s a lie.” She sat up, glaring at him. “Fucking hell, you stupid stallion. She wants to carry foals for you. She’s a GODDESS to the ponies here in Equestria for fucks sake. She’s the EMBODIMENT of the sun. And you can pin her down, make her DESIRE what is tantamount to servitude to you. Shit, skip our date, whip your cock out in front of her while she’s on her throne, and I’m sure she’ll pin you to the table and ride you until the end of time. So shut the fuck up about regrets, and not wanting her…”
Tharian was silent, just staring down at her.
“Now. Let’s fix this shit, and make sure neither of you have to suffer for making love. And, you’ll both owe me for this. I won’t be welcome here in Canterlot for a while.” She chuckled. “Not like I care… I can just go latch onto Arkantos and Twilight for a while… or if Cadance is willing to let me take a crack at Shining…” She mused.
“Or, perhaps join us later?” Celestia’s voice startled both of them. She climbed up onto the bed, hovering her face mere inches from Tharian’s.
“Celestia…” Tharian mumbled.
“Shhh… we’ll be alright, Tharian.” She leaned in and kissed him.
Tharian returned the kiss, gently hugging her with his free arm. “Take care of her, Tharian. And Chrysalis, take care of him.” She shifted down and lightly kissed Chrysalis, surprising the changeling. “And… do enjoy yourselves.” She giggled softly.
“We will.” Chrysalis sighed quietly.
“Chrysalis, I think you look cute like that… but remember. At night, you’ll be sharing that chest.” Celestia teased.
“And what makes you think I want to be here? He is holding me against my wi-”
“He’s barely holding you. His arm’s literally laying over you and you have magic.” Celestia grinned. “Plus, your blushing, and constantly nuzzling your cheek against his stomach. Given half a chance, something tells me you’d be stroking his cock.”
Chrysalis shot up, and was instantly proven to be a liar. “Shut up! Or else I’ll…”
“Do what, go back on your offer? Alright… that’s your decision.” Celestia sighed.
“I wouldn’t.” Chrysalis huffed, pushing up against Tharian’s side once again. “I’m here for the love that’s bleeding off of him…”
“But, who are those feelings for? I was gone for a few minutes… and instead of getting up and leaving you were nuzzling my stallion.” Celestia challenged, now standing up from the bed. “And trying to comfort him.” She glanced to Tharian and smiled slightly. “And proving just how true his feelings are.”
“Mmm… I’m a changeling, negative emotions are good for me…” Chrysalis mumbled.
“Mmmhm.” Celestia laughed. “I’m going to get dressed… you two can take your time… or not, that’s up to you.” She turned around and dropped her towel.
Both Chrysalis and Tharian were staring at Celestia’s beautiful form. She seemed to sway back and forth shaking her plump ass for the two to watch and drool over.
Tharian was doing much much more than staring and Chrysalis’ attention was pulled to his towering erection. “Holy shit.” She breathed, licking her lips as she traced the tent in the blankets with her eyes. “Fucking monster … I like it…” She cooed, reaching down and playfully sliding her hand under the blanket. Tharian took that as an open invitation to finally squeeze her plot, causing her to gasp.
Celestia hummed to herself, slowly dressing and giving the two watching a show until the moment they began to focus more on each other. “Oh my… and here I thought you weren’t a slut Chrysalis.” She chuckled.
“I’m not… I just know a worthy stud when I see one.” Chrysalis growled playfully.
“You have no idea.” Celestia chuckled.
Tharian sighed softly as Chrysalis’ surprisingly soft hand slid up his shaft. “Ooh… gods…” He muttered. He groped her ass a little more, though his eyes remained locked on Celestia’s plush plot. “Mmm… Celestia… why don’t you come back and sit down on my lap… I’m sure we can… take that tight ass of yours for a nice ride.” He breathed.
“Mmmm… later, sweetie. If we take too long your little plot to get us out of any ‘trouble’ will fail.” She shook her hips, waving her tail to give them a small view of her winking clit.
“I can give you that…” Chrysalis breathed, leaning in and licking his ear. “In fact, big boy… you could get me pregnant. No issues on my end.” She nibbled his ear.
“Mmm… I just might take you for a spin then…” Tharian teased back, leaning down and roughly biting her ear. “Fuck you right in public… make it all the more believable.” He breathed.
Chrysalis glanced to Celestia for a moment, noticing her horn was glowing and she had a smirk on her face.
Chrysalis shook a little pressing closer. “Mmm… it’d be such a good ploy… make them all believe we just fucked all night… and I wanted to ruin Celestia’s reputation…”
“Ruin it? All the guards saw my entire cock vanishing into her… rumors of how a foreign king is in love with here… enough so that a changeling could easily get his lovestruck mind to fuck her senseless… it’d do more for her, cull her suitors… make them feel inadequate.” Tharian mused.
“Mmm, Chrysalis, why don’t you go wait outside? I wish to speak to Tharian alone before you two head out…” Celestia said, turning around and walking to the bed. She just had panties on, her breasts swinging back and forth and bouncing up and down with each step.
“W-with pleasure…” She licked her lips and slowly stood up, unable to remove her eyes from Celestia’s body. She walked out of the room, closing the door behind herself.
“Now… Tharian… there’s a few things I need you to do…” Celestia climbed over Tharian’s body.
“Besides teasing her?” He stuck his tongue out embracing Celestia.
“Besides teasing her.” She nodded, kissing him deeply.
“What do you need me to do?” He asked.
Celestia licked her lips. “Oooh… many things…”
A Few Minutes later:
Celestia sighed softly as she took position on her throne. She was fully expecting the nobles to already be in the room screeching about her finding love. But instead she was alone.
“Huh… maybe we’ve all bee-” Celestia cut herself off as Blueblood stepped into the room. She was about to shout him out, wanting a bit of peace before the storm.
Then she saw how… ashamed he looked. “Auntie…” He began quietly. “I um… had the nobles barricaded in their rooms so I could speak to you alone.” He slowly approached Celestia who was now more than curious.
“Why did you want to speak to me alone?” Celestia crossed her arms.
“It’s no secret to me that you and Tharian slept together last night. And… I wanted to say…”
“Choose your w-”
“I was wrong about him… Wrong about you both. And… I beg… beg for your forgiveness.” Blueblood said, causing her heart to stop.
“Wh…”
“I was… being misguided and… It’s shameful to think I’d do such a thing to harm so many.” Blueblood fell to his knees and looked up at her. The look of honesty on his face hurt even her .
“Blueblood… come here.” She motioned him closer, using her magic to bring a chair beside her throne. Blueblood walked over and sat down beside her. “What brought this about?”
“Just… I’ve seen what Arkantos and Twilight have accomplished… and then seeing you and Tharian together. I got… jealous.” Blueblood explained. “It was… a terrible decision.”
Something felt strange about this all.
“Blueblood.”
“I’m growing tired of not being free… having to constantly keep up a fucking facade. Never being able to be myself. I… Know you have no reason to trust me. After everything I’ve said and done. But… please give me another chance… If I fuck up this one, than I don’t deserve any more.” He finished, his tone exasperated and full of shame.
“What… do you want.” She sighed.
Blueblood cringed which caused her to question her reaction.
“Nothing. I… just want to make up for what I’ve done. Tell Tharian I’m sorry for what I was joining in on.” Blueblood sighed. “Apologize to Chrysalis… and apologize to Twilight and Arkantos… though they never heard me call their foals monsters… I feel as though I need to tell them how I didn’t mean it.”
“Blueblood, just calm down for a minute.” Celestia put a hand on his shoulder. “You’re going through a crisis…”
“No… I need to get away from here for a while… some sort of change.” He sighed.
“Well… due to my interference last night, Arkantos and Twilight are returning home. Something tells me though they wouldn’t initially be all there for taking you in… if you’re honest with this, and you truly want to change, they’ll be there to support you.” Celestia suggested. “And, I’m sure given half a chance their friends would be open to befriending you.”
Blueblood let out a long sigh. “I don’t know if…”
“Trust me, please. You’ll just have to make an effort to prove you aren’t there for something nefarious. I’m sure if you can accomplish that they’ll open up to you.” Celestia assured.
“It’s not just them…” Blueblood said.
“Yes. I know of how you acted towards her friends two years ago at the Gala.” Celestia said. “I’ll… ask her to keep it quiet that you’re there. And once you feel like you’re capable of speaking to them all and apologizing you’ll be free to do so.” She assured.
“Thank you, Auntie.” Blueblood smiled honestly, standing up and hugging Celestia. “Oh… and there’s two things.”
“What are they?”
“I… actually hope you and Tharian do well together. And the nobles think that Chrysalis had hypnotized you…”
“Ooooh, even better than what we had planned…” Celestia chuckled.
“What did you have planned?” Blueblood asked curiously.
“Chrysalis and Tharain were going to walk out together. Making everypony believe they had been the two in bed last night… and well, I was out doing something else.” She mused. “But… Hypnotization? Really, sometimes I think the Canterlot Nobles could be geniuses and have gained control of Equestria yeaaaarssss ago if they didn’t push their heads up their asses… it’s really no wonder they’re the laughing stock of the kingdom.” She shook her head. “It’s a wonder the other nobles, and now looking at how you truly think and feel… why you or anypony else would even humor them with time.” She smiled slightly. “And thank you for your kind words and hopes.”
“I won’t any more.” Blueblood said with a smile. “I hope sometime soon I could… perhaps talk more with you two?” He asked.
“Of course! I’m sure Tharian would be floored by your apology… though I can’t assure Chrysalis won’t just laugh you out of the room.”
“As long as she hears it… I’ll take some peace from it.” Blueblood said. “I’ll… go prepare to leave the castle.”
“Take your time. Maybe, after I deal with the nobles we could talk more, lay out a full plan for what you intend to do.” Celestia suggested.
Blueblood’s smile grew for a moment. “I’d love to. I… guess I’ll see you later then?”
“Of course, I’ll always be here to talk with, Blueblood.” Celestia smiled back. The young prince left the throne room, going up to his own room.
Along the way he passed Tharian and Chrysalis leaving Celestia’s room.
“Oh look who it i-” Chrysalis was cut off as Blueblood completely stopped and spoke.
“Chrysalis, Tharian… I’m sorry for the way I acted towards you both yesterday.” Blueblood sighed, looking truly ashamed.
Both Tharian and Chrysalis were taken aback. Chrysalis more so, as she’d dealt with him being an ass for the past few months. “W… what, is this some kind of jok-”
“You’re forgiven.” Tharian stated.
Chrysalis let out a long sigh, she of all creatures would know if somepony was lying. “Since you do seem to be serious… I suppose I can forgive you.” She said.
“R-really?” Blueblood muttered looking surprised at Chrysalis.
“Yeah. I can forgive you.” She nodded. “Just, don’t act like an ass again. This is your only chance.”
“Thank you! I… I was just about to start packing to head to Ponyville.” Blueblood said. “I’m… hoping Twilight and Arkantos will allow me to stay with them.”
“I’m sure they will. If you’re sincere about trying to find forgiveness…” Tharian said, putting a hand on Blueblood’s shoulder. “Though if they don’t you’re welcome to come spend some time with me. My warriors will truly whip you up into something to be feared.” He chuckled.
“I… Might take you up on that offer.” Blueblood laughed.
“Perhaps we should speak later, if you’re still in the city that is.” Tharian offered. “Of course, that is if…”
“I know about you and Celestia… and, well I have no room to judge or say anything. Nopony deserves to be alone.” Blueblood said. “And… well, if I hold you both up for long enough, your ploy will be even more believable for the nobles… though, once you two leave Canterlot, they won’t be so bad. They might be more kind and caring.” He chuckled. “I wish you three the best of luck.”
“Thank you… Blueblood.” Chrysalis smiled slightly, glancing to Tharian.
“Yes, thank you.” Tharian nodded.
“I’ll let you two go now. Have fun.” He waved, walking to his room, leaving the other two to go down to the throne room.
Author's Note
Yes, this is a bit strange, but I don't want any side stories I add to the series to just be... unconnected. If it isn't part of the main set of stories, you can expect it to be more romantic or SoL styled. Clop will have a bigger part in those stories, and it'll be less... well 'overall' story driven, meaning there won't be major plot advancements, just story, and character development.
So, there's two on the docket now! Blueblood and two mysterious mares (I won't spoil those two... and they are in Ponyville you can guess all you want, but I doubt you'll get the right combo). And of course the Fluttershy, Treehugger, and Derpy story. That one's further along with nearly 2 chapters written. I'll post whatever I have when that interlude comes up. But, expect the Blueblood story to at least be started soon.
