I stared at Applejack, she was nervously rubbing her hooves together. I asked “Applejack, you seem nervous, can you tell me why?”

She replied “Ah don’t want to talk about it.”

I asked “Is it because you are afraid of the responsibility.”

Applejack asked “How do you handle all this, Ah mean you’re a princess?”

I looked at one of my saddlebags “I have learned to be adaptable, part of my training as a bard.” I pulled out a long sharp stick , a bottlecap and a toothpick.

Applejack asked “Why do you have those?”

I smiled “They are mementos, they are replicas of items I used to slay a dragon.”

Applejack gasped “You killed a dragon with those 3 tools but that’s insane.”

I said “It was a job where a griffon lord had a mission for his 3 sons, they they or a champion of their choosing had to slay a dragon. They had to use a set list of items, the eldest had a greatsword and armour forged by the swordsmith in the empire enchanted with the finest enchantments. The middle brother had been gifted a enchanted longbow and a lightning spear. The youngest however wasn’t given any thing besides what I have in front of me.”

Applejack asked “So he contacted you guild and you were sent there, is that what happened?”

I smiled “Yes and I was the only who would go, my guild mates said to me ‘Your crazy, a toothpick, a bottlecap and a sharp stick it is impossible’. I simply told them ‘Well then I’ll just have to improvise.”

Applejack blinked “You really did this?”

I smiled “Yeah I was hanging off the stick and I threw the bottlecap to get it’s attention while it was fighting the other 2 champions, I then used the toothpick to damage on of it’s eyes for long enough for it to slam into a pillar made of solid diamonds, it’s skull cracked on impact.”

Applejack said “That was creative.”

I smiled “No, it just required me to think quickly and concisely in a tough scenario. Every one was shocked at my success even my boss, I scared him out of his chitin.”

Applejack asked “Wait your boss was a changeling?’

I said “Yep, the Bard’s Guilds are equal opportunity, we have griffins, dragons, zebra changelings, vamponies, wereponies, and even a wendigo working in the guild. I even have my old communicator.” I pulled out a blue round orb to show her.

Then a voice said “We have arrived at Canterlot, wish you all a good day.” Applejack and I trotted out of the train. I heard ponies whispering about us.

Applejack asked “Really a Wendigo, Ah find that hard to believe.”

Chrysalis said “I believe it.”

Applejack jumped, then said as she tried to regain her breath “I forgot you were even there.”

Chrysalis smiled “Good, I’m glad I didn't disturb your conversation.”

I smiled “I knew you were there and I’m grateful you didn’t butt in, I think that deserves a present.” I gave a kiss, not a peck but a real kiss. Our tongues met and it was another minute before I finally pulled away.

Chrysalis smiled “We are so going to do it tonight. It’s too bad we couldn’t do it here.”

Applejack gasped “Are you crazy, you in public?”

I smiled “I’d show you crazy.” Let’s just say we had intimate moment on that road, when we stood up I saw the look of shocked nobleponies. Applejack was trying to hide under her hat. I said “Chrysalis we should shower at the castle.”

She replied “I agree.”

Applejack asked “Did you two really think that was a good idea?”

I smirked “Yes, it’s changeling tradition to have sex in front of your subjects and I like the idea. I think I’m going to turn into law.” Applejack’s eyes widened to the size of basketballs. We arrived at the gates to see the guards, they stared at me and Chrysalis.

I laughed “You better get used to seeing us like this. Beside I hear rumours of what goes on in the guard barracks.” The guards blushed as we trotted into the castle, there were ponies running around everywhere.

Applejack asked “What’s all the commotion?”

I said “Wedding preparations, Chrysalis and I are getting married.”

Applejack asked “Isn’t it a bit soon.”

I said “We have known each other for 6 months, we fought through changeling hives, had arguments and made up a whole lot. We are more than ready. Anyway we better get cleaned up, see ya Applejack.”

After cleaning ourselves up a maid trotted into the room, she said “Princess Celestia requests the pair of you in the meeting room.” When we arrived, we saw several angry nobles sitting at the table along with two amused Princesses.

Celestia smiled “Please take a seat, we have a lot to discuss.”

One of the nobles snarled “They had sex in the street, that is against everything we stand for.”

Chrysalis laughed “Considering how you ponies don’t need to wear clothes, I’m always surprised by how prudish you can be.”

Another one snarled “You shut up, you invaded us twice, you should be rotting in a jail cell.” I was about to deck him when Chrysalis per her hoof on my wither. I sighed.

Celestia boomed “Enough, we are getting off topic.” She then asked “What is they complaint?”

A Stallion answered calmly “They had sex in the street, it goes against all decency to do that.”

Chrysalis said “It’s a changeling thing we indulge in, It’s a custom that our changelings watch us in bed during sex.”

The first noble snarled “We are not changelings, we don’t do that.”

I smiled “Well actually I’m going to make into a law allowing royalty to have sex in public and if the populace agrees enough then I will allow it to include all ponies.”

The Nobleponies shouted “Princesses she can’t do this, it is wrong.”

Celestia and Luna smiled “We don’t have a problem with it, it has certainly made things more exciting around here.”

A voice said “I agree, it has caused quite a bit of chaos.”

Luna rolled their eyes, Discord come out here.”

Chrysalis gasped “Discord, what’s he doing here.”

Discord said as he slithered behind her “I’ve been reformed just as you have, don’t be afraid.” Chrysalis shuddered.

I frowned “Discord, do you want me to beat you up again.” He shook his head fearfully. I said “Then leave my fiance alone.” He nodded as he took a seat on the roof.

The nobles looked at me fearfully. Celestia said “Well I’d say all is in order, let’s call it a day.”

We exited the room only to see Cadence walking by. Cadence asked “Do you mind if I spend so me girl time with you fiance, I felt it would help me if I could spend some time with her.”

Chrysalis trembled, I gave her a peck on the cheek “You’ll be fine, she won’t hurt you or else she’ll hear from me.” I trotted away to find Applejack.

****Meanwhile in the Crystal Empire****

A pony galloped into the throne room. He said “Report for Prince Armour of the Crystal Empire.”

Shining Armour said “Tell me, my good sir.”

The messenger said “We have seen a small airship with a Lightning Bolt on it

He said “Hail them down, I would like to speak with them.” He thought (Maybe they can help me with the Changelings.) He smiled not noticing his eyes had turned green.
