I was standing there with Cara. I frowned “We are going to war, Ah never thought Ah’d see the day, Ah only heard the stories from Granny Smith.”

Cara smiled “Ah know mah Sweet Apple but we will get through this as we always have together.”

I heard a knock on the door, I opened the door with my magic. Iron Compass trotted in he asked “Are you two okay?”

I sighed “We have never fought a war before. Ah’ve heard the horrid stories about them though.”

Cara scowled “Damn this Storm King for dragging us into war!”

Iron Compass sighed “Yes but he must be stopped, redemption may not be an option here.”

Cara growled “It's not fair!”

I frowned “Ah think Ah better go and see Twilight she probably ain’t handling this very well.” I trotted out of the room and headed down the corridor, I asked one of the guards “Where is Twilight?”

The guard replied “Top floor next to Celestia and Luna’s rooms.”

I trotted up to the top floor and found a room with Twilight’s Cutie Mark on it. Applejack opened the door only to see Chrysler talking to Twilight, Chrysalis said “Twilight, don’t worry you shouldn’t do any fighting today.”

I stepped in “Ah’m surprised you’re here, you two aren’t exactly friends.”

Chrysalis frowned “I am trying to put my best hoof forward, me and Twilight aren’t going to see eyes with one another for a long time if ever but I will do my best to not make it a burden on others and the start of that is trying to be nice.” She pushed past me leaving Twilight and I in the room.

Twilight frowned “She was only trying to help.”

I sighed “Sorry.”

Twilight shook her head “No it’s okay I still feel uncomfortable around her but still she was a big help. I may have paced through the floor into the cabin below if she didn’t come to help me.” I turned and gasped as I saw the heavy grooves in the floor easily a pony deep.

Twilight blushed her face turning a bright shade of pink, I asked “Are you okay?”

Twilight nodded “I’m still nervous, I mean I’m gong to see killing.”

I grimaced “Lucky, Ah’m going to have do some of the killing.” Twilight’s eyes widened. I slumped “Ah’m a Changeling Queen and that means as a leader of the hive Ah must see combat or be cast out by the hive.”

Twilight gasped “That’s horrible.”

I shook my head “No it’s not they are mah family, some of them are mine after all.” I felt my insides began to move “Ah’ll be right back.”

I galloped back to Cara and I’s room. Cara gasped “Are ya okay?”

I grimaced “Just laying, don’t worry.” She wrapped her hooves around me as I slowly pushed out two large eggs.

Cara frowned “Ah’m going to speak to the Princesses.” Before I could say anything Cara teleported out of the room. I took a quick shower in the bathroom before coming out. I levitated the two eggs into the bathroom and gave them a light clean before setting them on a towel.

Cara, Chrysalis, Twilight,Starsong, Celestia and Luna all arrived in the room. Applejack smiled sheepishly “Ah’m sorry Ah made a mess.”

Chrysalis smiled “Don’t worry about it, I understand the struggle.” she then sighed “I only wish I was a better mum.”

Starsong gave her a hug “It’s alright, what happened happened and now is time to move on. We have a new bad guy to beat down after all.”

Celestia and Luna chuckled “Relax, don’t worry we can always clean the floor.”

A guard rushed into the room “We are currently over Klugetown, we should prepare for an assault.”

Celestia nodded “Very well” she then shouted “Everypony and ling prepare for battle!” I nodded to Cara and we flew to the top deck to be ready for battle.
