Chap. 3: RoadBlock Part II

AJ's Barn, 7:17AM

"It's good to be back" i said as I walked back through the portal & it closed behind me.

"That was quick" said Dash.

"Yeah, you where only gone for 2 minutes" said AJ.

"I was gone way longer then that" i said.

"It's because in the two different dimensions time flows differently" said Karen.

"That makes sense" i said. "So, school?" I asked as i got out of my armor.

"Shit!, everyone in my car now" said Rainbow.

CHS, 7:30AM

"Made it, with 10 minutes to spare" said Dash as we all got out of the car.

"Your gonna want to go to the office" said AJ.

"Why?" I asked.

"To register as a student" said Rainbow.

"Right" i said.

Same Location, 7:33AM

*Knock* *knock* *knock*

"Come in" said Celestia as i entered her office. "You here to register?" She asked.

"That i am" i said.

"Name?" She asked.

"Thomas Quill" i said.

"Age?" she asked.

"17" i said.

"Mm-hmm" she said. "OK, hears your schedule" she concluded.

"Really?, It's that easy?" I asked. "Just walk in here, talk to you then boom your a student & can start the same day?" I continued as i started walking backwards to the door.

"Yes, its that easy" she said as i walked through the door.

Same Location, 7:37AM

I took this moment to look at my schedule.

"1st Period: US History, 2nd Period: English 11, 3rd Period: P.E., 4th Period: Advisory, Lunch, 5th Period: Financial Algebra, 6th Period: Learning Lab, & last but not least, 7th Period: Computer Re-pare, that last one's gonna be fucking awesome!" I said.

*Later That Day, Right Before 7th Period*

OK, so far one of the girls has been in each of my classes: AJ in US History, Rarity in English 11, Rainbow in P.E., Fluttershy in Advisory, Sunset in Financial Algebra, & Pinkie in Learning Lab. 'wonder who's gonna be in my next one' i thought sarcastically walking into my finale class, Computer Repair.

Same Location, Front Of School, 2:27PM

"So, how was your first day?" Asked Sunset.

"It wasn't half bad" i said as a portal opened up and a token came flying out & hit me in the junk.

"OW!!!, AGAIN?!?" I yelled in pain.

"HA HA, how does that happen twice in the same day?" Asked Rainbow clutching her stomach from laughing to hard.

"OK, who's token is this?" I asked as i picked it up. once i picked it up a portal opened & out drove a Mustang Saleen.

"Who are you?" I asked as it turned into a cop car.

"Oh... Barricade, was up?" I asked as he transformed into a robot.

"What are the odds that your the first Displaced i summoned & im the first Displaced you summoned?" Asked Barricade.

"Practically none existent, but yet it still happened" said Karen.

"You might want to turn back into a regular car before people start asking questions" i said.

"Fair point" said Barricade as he transformed back into his vehicle mode. "Anybody need a ride?" He asked once he was a car again.

AJ's Barn, 2:57PM

"So does your suit fly to you like Iron Man's or do you have to come here every time you want the suit?" Asked Barricade.

"The suit can fly to me" i said.

"Who's Iron Man?" Asked Dash.

"Imagine my armor, but with way less visible weapons-" i tried to say.

"& the paint job has way more red & gold" said Barricade cutting me off.

"& the pilots an Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." said Karen.

"What she said" me & Barricade said at the same time.

"Genius?" Asked Twilight interested.

"Billionaire?" Asked Rarity interested.

"Playboy?" Asked Pinkie interested.

"Philanthropist?" Asked Fluttershy interested.

"Calm your tits girls, Tony's in his 50's" i said.

"Oh..." said all 4 girls.

"How long has he been a hero?" Asked Rainbow.

"About 8 years" said Barricade.

"Started when he was 44" i said.

"What took him so long to become a hero?" Asked Sunset.

"Before he was Iron Man Mr. Stark was an egotistical dick, who sold weapons for a living" i said.

"Then he was involved in a terrorist attack & he decided to prevent people from being terrorized, by terrorizing the terrorizers" said Barricade.

"That's an interesting backstory" said AJ.

"How many super heroes are there on your world?" Asked Dash.

"A small army's worth" i said.

"Why?" asked Fluttershy worried.

"There was an idea, called the Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles we never could. I wasn't part of that team, obviously, but Iron Man is" i said.

"Who else is part of 'The Avengers'?" Asked Rainbow.

"Well the official team consists of: Iron Man, the real WarMachine... ill explain that latter, & Vision" i said.

"Then you've got The Secret Avengers: Nomad, Ronin, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, & Falcon" said Barricade.

"Then theirs the honorary Avengers/Secret Avengers: Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, & Wasp" i said.

"You also got The Revengers: Thor, Hulk, Valkyrie, & Loki" said Barricade.

"Dont forget The Defenders: DareDevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, & Iron Fist, also honorary member The Punisher" i said.

"& finally you've got The Guardians of The Galaxy: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot, & Mantis" said Barricade.

"That... is a lot of heroes" said Pinkie.

"26 to be exact" said Twilight.

"Why does your world need that meany heroes?" Asked Rarity.

"On average a city in my world, or the lintier world, or the whole galaxy is threatened 6 times a year" i said.

"Mine's only threatened every 2-3 years" said Barricade.

"Lucky bastered" i said.

"Wait, you said the 'real' WarMachine earlier, what did you mean?" Asked AJ.

"Barricade, our contract is complete" i said as a portal opened up behind him and sucked him through.

"Why'd you do that?" Asked Fluttershy. "It seemed a bit cruel, dont you think?" She asked.

"He didn't need to be here for this part, & maybe a little" i said.

"OK, so about this your not the 'real' WarMachine thing" said Sunset as the Human Seven looked at me.

"Its complicated, but it starts...
