Date In The Forest

Thanks to the girls and their obtained magical powers, Canterlot High has saved Camp Everfree from Filthy Rich’s attempt to foreclose. With all the money they got from the people they invited to the Crystal Party, Canterlot High has become the most helpful school to be part of. Of course, good things had to come to an end when all the students and teachers left Everfree Forest to come back to their school.

During their Camping trip, Twilight Sparkle blushed once Timber Spruce smiled at her, signifying she has a crush on him. She has never met someone who’s so nice and charming in her life, and her time hanging out with him during the camping trip was indeed the best of her life. Sadly, the two had never got the chance to hang out together more, nor did they ever had one full date Twilight went back to her school while Timber is alone with Gloriosa Daisy in Everfree Forest. She felt sad that she had to leave, even if the camping trip was over. She wanted a chance to hang out with him a little longer to get to know him more. Luckily, he gave her his phone number so that they could call each other to hang out if they have spare time.

Once Twilight and Spike got home after their school trip, Twilight walked to her room, feeling exhausted as she laid down on her bed.

“Umm? Twilight?” Spike said as he got on top of Twilight’s bed. “I thought you enjoyed our camping trip…What's wrong?”

“It was fun.” She said. “We got powers, and I enjoyed hanging out with my best friends. But…..”

“Yes?” Spike raised his eyebrow.

“.....You know….” Twilight tried to act like she got over Timber but it wasn’t until Spike figured it out in the blink of an eye.

“Ohhh… I know what you mean.” he watched Twilight blush.

“You still wanna hang out with TImber more, don't you?”

Twilight blurted it out as she blushed a little harder with embarrassment. “...Yes…”

“Twilight,” Spike tried to calm her down. “I’m not making fun of you. In fact, I think it’s great that you have a crush on Timber.”

“It’s not just that-” She got cut off when Spike interrupted.

“Ohhh I know what you want from him.” Spike lid his eyes, knowing what Twilight really wanted.

“Spike!” Twilight overreacted, then covered her mouth. “I don’t love him that way!”

“I know, I know. But, maybe you should call him.”

“Why would I call him? He’s probably back home with his family. And, I don’t think we will be able to see him until the next time our school go to Camp Everfree again.” Twilight stated, despite Spike trying to set her up.

“Didn’t Timber give you his phone number?”

“Yes, actually. I’m still pretty sure he’s busy with his family.”

“Well, maybe you should call him if you want to have a date with him during this weekend.” Spike suggested as she took time to think about it.

Twilight walked out of her room and went to the bathroom, looking towards the mirror. She really felt unprepared since she never went on a date with someone she really loved, and she still felt shy about the idea of hanging out with someone. For about one minute of thinking, Twilight decided to call Timber on a date. She took out her phone and called Timber.

“Hello?” Timber responded as he picked up the phone.

“It's me, Twilight.” Twilight said.

“Oh hello, Twilight! Wasn't long enough that we talked to each other, huh?.”

“Yeah.” Twilight felt a bit happy. Although, she still felt a little unprepared to talk about what she has been thinking about.

“Lemme guess, you enjoyed Camp Everfree, right?”

“Yeah, it was fun. But I really miss you.”

“Jeez! Didn't really expected this to happen so soon...” Timber was completely speechless due to the unexpected call from his friend who secretly loved him.

“I just wondering that we should…..”

“Yes?” Timber spoke in a patient manner.

Twilight took fifteen seconds thinking about her decision for her and Timber. “You see, I was thinking that we should have a date maybe this weekend?”

“Of course! I'd love to!” Timber exclaimed.

“Wow! That sounds great!” Twilight blushed in excitement.

“Yeah! I mean, I was thinking that we could have some personal time alone with no one around. Do you want to come back to Camp Everfree? I found a place that's very beautiful for the both of us.”

“Okay! I’ll be there!” Twilight answered, then said goodbye to Timber as she cheered in excitement for her big plan.

“Spike!” she yelled to her dog excitedly. “I'm going on a date with Timber!”

“Okay, just calm down.” Spike reacted. “Just make sure that you're ready, because this is your first date.”

She then stopped for a second, realizing that just at that point. She then put on her pajamas and went to bed, feeling a bit afraid while trying to keep her cool. Indeed, she was already in a state of panic.
