Rockhoof scratched the back of his head while sheepishly chuckled, "Very observant Rarity. Yes, we only had," The Earth pony sighed, "What four crystals to work with?"

Starswirl nodded, "Yes while the first two attempts failed, Meadowbrook came up with a brilliant plan."

We turned to the mare in question, "While we failed twice I offered Starswirl to meld the crystal to a living plant such as a tree sapling. Starswirl tested with similar gems and it was a success, however, he wanted more."

The gray Unicorn looked down, "My mindset was for the future of Equestria, I had to come up with a spell to make the potential Tree to be to communicate with us to that way the ponies would be informed of a threat.
