Opening her eyes was the biggest mistake of her life. The first thing to fill her vision was the suns bright light. It was safe to say it hurt a fair bit. "Mmmmgh.." Twilight groaned as she flipped over and shoved her head into her slobber stained pillow. This must have been what ponies call, a hangover. Why did this have to happen now? What did she do to deserve this? Twilights thoughts however were abruptly interrupted as a loud bang erupted through the library, enticing another loud groan from the purple pony.

Opening the door to her mare friends house Rainbow instantly seized up as the door came out of her grasp, shutting with a loud bang. Slowly looking up at Twilights bedroom door Rainbow sighed as she heard what sounded like to her, a hangover moan. She sighed again and decided to head up and comfort her mare. Rainbow was rather familiar with hangovers and how bad they could turn out to be even with her tolerance for alcohol. Though she could only imagine how bad Twilight must feel at this moment. She didn't know how many drinks Twilight had and considering how much of a lightweight she was, but Rainbow knew her mare and it was probably only two or three best. With another sigh Rainbow opened the door to Twilights bedroom, ruffling her wings for the future to make them cuddle safe.

Hearing her bedroom door open with a creek Twilight lifted her head out of her pillow and looked at who was currently standing in her bedroom. "Mmph.. Dashie..." Twilight groaned, throwing her head into her pillow once more. Twilight was very lucky she was having a particularly bad morning because if she wasn't.. Lets just say Rainbow had only heard Twilight moan like that a couple times. Though in Twilights defence Rainbow knew exactly why she made it sound so desperate.

"Hey Twi? I know you're not feeling very well, trust me, I get how you're feeling. But I just happen to know a way to make it feel less.. annoying." Rainbow said in a low voice.

"Mmm?" Twilight 'said' lifting up her head and lying on her side, looking into her prismatic mare's eyes with curiosity. Then all of a sudden Twilight caught on to what her mare friend just said to her. Did Rainbow know that she was in heat?

"Ill go turn the water on for you, alright?" Rainbow said. Without waiting for a response she headed out into the hall and over to the bathroom. Walking up to the bathroom Rainbow opened the door and looked into the rather spotless room. "She truly is a clean freak." Rainbow giggled to herself. "I'm going to have to fly her up to my house next week for a little cleaning session.." Looking over at the shower Rainbow walked up to it and turned on the water as cold as it could go. "You're not gunna to like it, but it'll help. Trust me.." She whispered to herself with a sigh.

Turning over so she was laying on her back Twilight opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling. The bright sun instantly filling the corners of her eyes once again. Wincing at the light, she groaned for what felt like the 10th time in a span of six minutes. Her ears perked and swivelled to her bedroom door as she heard the taps to the shower being turned. "Guess I'm going to have to get up at some point anyways.." she thought to herself with a sigh. Slowly as to not make her condition, or should she say conditions, worse she sat up and regretfully shimmied her way out from under the covers. Landing on all four's on the hard wood floor, she instantly grabbed her dishevelled mane with a hoof in a measly attempt to stop the pain. This was the absolute worst thing that could possibly happen on the absolute worst day for it to happen on. Twilight knew today was the day that she promised to go out with Rainbow, but with her stupid self being as hungover as she was.. She didn't know if she could keep that promise. Twilight sighed as she walked down the hall towards her bathroom, she would be putting off there night out, again. "I just have to hope Dashie will understand.."

Opening the door to her quaint bathroom Twilight peered in and saw who she was expecting to see, Rainbow. She also noticed that the temperature was marginally different in here than it was from the rest of her home. "A cold shower. Oh horse feathers, she does know.." She thought to herself nervously. She knew Rainbow would find out eventually, she just didn't want her to find with the current circumstances. All Twilight felt like doing during this moment was cry. Cry until the waterfall went dry. "H-hey Dashie.." Twilight said walking over to Rainbow with a voice almost as raspy as Rainbow's in the mornings.

"Heya Twi.. Feeling alright?" Rainbow asked a little concerned for her cute purple pony.

"I.. I.." Twilight stuttered, holding in the waterworks and letting herself fall onto her haunches in between the doorway. She didn't want to have a mental breakdown in front of her mare friend, even if Rainbow fully understood why. Though despite her efforts to keep the impending downfall at bay, the dam finally broke. The relatively silent library was now being filled with the sobs and weeps of the unicorn mare. Never in her life had she felt this.. defeated. Why did she have to go into heat now? Why did she have to be such a light weight? Why did he have to drink what she drank? How did she ever come to deserve such a beautiful, caring mare such as Rainbow Dash?

Instead she cuddled into the cyan pony above her, Twilight decided that all of her worries could wait until later. With rainbow curled up above her acting as a makeshift blanket, Twilight blissfully fell asleep into the world of dreams.

Aaaaaanyways.. It is suuper late for a couple of reasons that id rather not say, but i hope you enjoyed this chapter non the less. Also, I wrote this chapter in two different time periods, so if something doesn't make sense let me know and ill fix it. (I've decided to cut this story off as it is, at least for now, so I can continue writing my other stories.)
