"S-Scootaloo did that? I didn't know she lost her parents. I t-thought her parents where always on trips." Fluttershy mumbles in thought.

"Is it normal to be that angry after what I did?" I ask.

"It depends. Different ponies handle s-stuff differently." Fluttershy explains.

"I see." I mumble.

I then start to climb down the tree and back to the forest floor. The branches of the tree creak as I carefully climb down them.

"So are you going t-to be joining me?" Fluttershy asks with a smile.

I shake my head.

"No. I need some time to think so I'm just going to wander around for a bit." I answer.

"Oh, okay." Fluttershy mumbles with slight disapointment.

"Thanks for the offer though Fluttershy. I'll see you around." I say with a smile.

She smiles back then continues on her journey through the forest.

I look towards a dark side of the forest. The canopy above must be blocking out nearly all of the sun because it's as dark as night in the dark side of the forest. I walk towards the darkened part of the forest, pushing my way through thick bushes and tall grasses. In the forest in front of me stands me. It looks like me but it can't be. I'm here. The copy of me then smiles and pulls something out of it's pocket. It then starts to walk towards me. I take a step back in a panic as the copy of me continues to close in on me. My back then colides with a tree, stopping me in my tracks. The copy of my stops a few steps in front of me. It then holds out the thing it picked out of it's pocket.

"A piece of paper?" I ask nervously.

It then nods and continues to hold the peice of paper in front of me.

I grab the piece of paper and the copy of me starts to walk closer to me again. I hold my hands out to stop the copy but it just walks through my hands. It then continues to walk through me and then through the tree behind me. I turn around and look behind the tree to see the copy of me had dissapeared. I look down at the crumpled peice of paper in my hand. For a few seconds I can't stop staring at it. With shaky hands I then slowly open the piece of paper. Written on the paper is a single word written in black ink.

NAME

Is written on the piece of paper. I touch the lettering. Immediately afterwards my head starts to throb. I clutch at my head and clamp my eyes closed as the pain becomes unbareable. I grab fistfulls of my hair and grit my teeth.

"Daniel Isle." I growl through grinding teeth.

As soon as I growl the name my headache dissapears.

'I remember now! My name's Daniel! It wasn't James.... Then.... Who's James?... Ah who cares! I can remember my name now! Hahahahaha!" I laugh as tears of joy stream down my face.

I fall to my knees and kiss the piece of paper. I then place it into my pocket and just enjoy the feeling of remembering my name.

"Daniel Isle." I mumble to myself.

I keep repeating my name over and over again in happiness at finally being able to remember something about myself. After repeting myself a few more times I then stand back up and stop repeating myself.

"I can finally remember my name.... I can't leave here. What if there's more memories here? I can't leave. EVER." I shout in excitement.

I then immediately start walking through the forest again. No specific direction just where ever my legs took me. Down dirt paths, through bushes and even into a cave at one point, but I couldn't find another memory anywhere.

"I need to keep going. I can't afford to stop." I groan as I climb up a rock face.

"James!" A voice below me shouts.

"Scootaloo?!" I shout back.

"I'm sorry James! Please come back!" Scootaloo shouts up at me.

"I can't Scootaloo! My memories are here! I even learnt my real name!" I shout back.

"Please?" She doesn't shout it but says it just loud enough for me to hear it.

I stop my climb. Thoughts start to flow through my mind at an unbelievable pace.

'I need to keep searching!' 'Never stop searching!' 'She needs me right now....'

That last one repeated itself in my head. It was right. She did need me. I can't leave her alone, not in the state she's in.

"I.... But.... Okay.... I'll come back...." I mumble.

I start to climb back down, it took me a few seconds to climb to the height I was at and it took a minute for me to climb down.

"Thank you...." Scootaloo sniffles.

"It's.... Okay...." I say with a smile.

"You still need to take that bath." Scootaloo giggles as she wipes a tear away.

"Yeah.... I must still stink." I say with a smirk.

"I'm sorry for how I behaved.... I.... I was just...." She mumbled.

"It's okay. I did it without asking so of course you'd be upset." I say with a smile as I ruffle up her mane.

She giggles and smiles up at me.

"I guess I'd better tell you a little secret about me then. The reason why I was so angry.... Besides what I said I was angry about. I think you deserve to know...." She sighs.

"Can we redo our introductions and hoofshake? Now that I know my real name, I think it would be nice to redo it." I ask.

"Sure." Scootaloo says with a quick nod. "My name's Scootaloo and I'm a pegasus."

"My name is Daniel Isle and I'm a monkey.... Or something close to one at least." I say as I hold my hand out.

She grabs my hand and gives me a hearty hoofshake.

"Shall we get going then?" Scootaloo asks with a giant smile on her face.

"Of course." I answer.

I look ahead of me and see the copy of me that gave me the piece of paper. It smiled and gave a nod of it's head. It looked to it's right and smiled. It then starts to walk to it's right, it slowly fades out of excistence as it walks. I smile as I watch the copy fade away. I then tap the pocket with the piece of paper in it and smile.
