It was cold… that wasn’t right, It was supposed to be warm...right? I think so…

It is hard to think...

I was heading to...someplace..., hoping to have some fun with my friends and maybe buy something… where was everyone?

It came back in a flash, It was right after I bought that junk from the bum outside the convention!

light... warm... inviting... I wanted to...to get closer...it made thinking easier… I couldn’t let it get away, I had to chase it!

Sweetie Bell POV

“Girls, you sure this is a good idea? I mean, we already have our cutie marks, our Personas should appear naturally soon enough…” I looked to my two best friends, who smiled at me supportively.

“Aw, you worry too much, I mean, we are literally summoning a brand new demon! You said you saw the page form while you were studying with Twilight!” Scootaloo said with a grin, her wings fluttering excitedly at the thought of getting a cool demon friend like Spike

Applebloom nodded enthusiastically “Yeah, tha demonologica was how Twah summoned baby spike! Imagine how grateful tha scared lil guy will be ta have a home with us!”

I sighed and nodded reluctantly, pressing my hands to the freshly drawn summoner's circle as I read the chant aloud. “I am thou, thou art I, I call upon thee to the land of equus, do my bidding and protect my kith and kin! May our foes be enveloped in black!” I then looked over the name and repeated it just like Twilight did when she summoned Spike from across the room this morning “Frederick, I command thee to my side, become my familiar!”

There was a blinding flash of light as black, ink like material formed a puddle in the center of the circle. From it rose the strangest Demon I had ever seen.

He looked to us and frowned “Where…. Where am I?”

Twilight POV

Oh, this is bad! This is really, really bad!

I looked to spike, who was eating an emerald idly. “Spike, we have a problem!”

Spike looked to me curiously “What’s up, Twilight? Is a book missing?”

I nodded “Yes! And ponyville's most important book, as well! The demonologica has gone missing! If someone finds it and tries to summon a demon, the results could be catastrophic!”

Rainbow Dash, who was reading a Daring Do book downstairs, caled up “Wait wait wait, didn’t you summon Spike from that book?”

I nodded “Yes, but he was in a room full of Wards and experienced mages accompanied by their personas, as well as Celestia and Apollo, two of the most powerful beings in Equestria, to help keep his demonic energy from overtaking me and fusing us together!”

Spike blanched “Trust me, I know a bit from the other personas and tamed demons, fusing is NOT fun for either party.”

Rainbow dash smiled brashly “So you need me to find whoever has the book, and stop them before they get fused or whatever?”

Spike then cleared his throat “Actually, sweetie bell took it,”

I looked to Spike in shock “Whaaat?!”

He deadpanned “You said she could borrow it, you were studying some spell about enhancing something?”

I blushed, knowing exactly what he was talking about. Rainbow Dash snickered slightly as she walked out the door “Well, good luck with that spell Twilight, I’ll go save the day, like always~!”

Frederick POV

I finally reached the light, finding myself at a wooden clubhouse surrounded by three small equines, I think the word was ponies? I… I was having a hard time recalling...anything. I looked to them “Where… where am I?”

The white one smiled at me unsurely “Umm… you’re in Equestria.”

The orange one whispered to the white one, which I heard somehow, even though I could tell it did not reach my ears. “So much for him being a demon of wisdom, eh sweetie bell?”

I frowned “I may not be all knowing, but I do know a rude little pony when I meet one.”

The orange one jumped as she noticed me looking straight at her. “What the hay?! How did you hear me?!”

I shrugged “I don’t know, Memory is fuzzy.”

I then looked out the window to see a rainbow maned pony and a little man with nothing but a blue hat on that seemed to be a strange kind of snowman “Get em, Hermes!”

The humanoid smiled and nodded “Gotcha boss, Agi!”

As soon as it finished speaking, it flung fire at me and I winced as a fireball , I looked to see that my shoulder had turned to ink and was burning, the ink forming a solid state to smoyher the flames. I looked to Hermes and growled instinctively “What did I do to you, huh?”

Jacks smile turned smaller, almost as if he were being smug “Well, It’s my job as Dashies familiar to keep her safe, not like I’d understand some wild demon to get that!”

Something about being called wild… it really pissed me off. “Oh, so because I’m free, you have the right to get all high and mighty?” I clenched my fist as the ink that I came out of the ground around me formed around my fist, forming a cloud of inky liquid that turned into a rock solid gauntlet as I leapt backwards, hearing something similar to shattering glass as I broke through an unseen barrier and felt a surge of power, to which I flipped around, punching a hole in the clubhouse wall as I made my way through what looked like an orchard, only for a weird scaly thing to block my path alongside a purple pony, the rainbow maned one returning with Jack as well. I looked to them cautiously “I have no quarrel with you, I just want out of here. Just let me go, and we don’t have to fight.”

The scaly thing frowned and looked to Twilight “Aren’t Wild Demons supposed to be violent?”

Twilight nodded, readying some sort of a staff “Don’t let your guard down Spike, it’s probably a trick!”

The rainbow maned mare then smiled as she took out a pair of daggers from her hips, Hermes and Spike getting in a combat stance as well.

I frowned “I really have no idea what’s going on, but if you want to fight, so be it.” I formed a pair of gauntlets over my fists and smirked, I then slammed the ground, creating a large dust cloud that blinded all of my would be pursuers and ran all the way into a much denser group of trees… what was it called? Oh yeah, a forest… It felt like I remembered more when I was out of that place I was in… wherever it was.

I looked around, eventually finding what looked like an old shrine of some sort, with a large stone wrapped in ropes and talismans all over it. As I looked at it, I could hear a voice in my head “Crush the rock… free her…

I shrugged, not seeing the harm in it, whatever was sealed here, it was probably an enemy of the ponies, and thus an ally of mine. I then reared my fist back and slammed it into the boulder, shattering it like a glass with a hammer.

A large grey shockwave went throughout the forest, and the trees and everything seemed… slightly darker. From the remains of the boulder, a black mist swirled. It swirled and swirled, before it eventually formed into what appeared to be a shapely, ghostly woman.

The woman held her head, as if she was just waking from a long slumber.

I waved at her, flashing her a toothy grin “Heya, what’s up?”

The woman seemed to ‘jump’ at my voice, turning to me with surprise in her white void eyes.

I laughed “Yeah, I’d say I sympathized, but I haven’t seen anything reflective yet, so I have no idea what I look like now.” Man, that sounded weird… maybe I should explain… “I think I might of been turned into a weird demonic...thing?”

The woman nodded, and I shrugged “I have no idea what I was before, so no real sense of loss there. Probably going to bug me until I figure it out though…” I then smiled at her “So what’s your name, sexy?”

I got the faintest sense of a blush from the shade, before she seemed to try to speak… but nothing happened.

I frowned for a second before I thought of something “How about this,” I made a drill with my finger and aimed it with my arm so that it was right over a tree, gesturing for her to come over “Write your name with my hand. We’ll figure out a way for you to talk later.” I then grinned mischievously “Unless you want me to keep calling you sexy?”

With another sensation of a blush, and a glare accompanying it this time, the woman grabbed my drill hand and quickly wrote ‘Inky’ into the tree.

I laughed “Well isn’t Irony a bitch? My body is made of ink like stuff, and here you are, with a name that would fit me to a T.”

The woman put a hand to her mouth, as if holding back a giggle.

I then sighed “But seriously, I should keep an eye on those three that brought me here, they might try summoning something again… and I don’t wanna know what happens if a mean demon gets free…” I then looked to Inky and smiled lazily, a gleam in my eye. “So, wanna stick with me? I think we will make a good team, somehow.”

Inky tilted her head, the expression seeming rather adorable to me before the shapely shade nodded to my suggestion. It seems Inky has joined the party.

I then looked to myself and sighed “I am literally wearing nothing but bandages and a ragged kilt. What am I, Highlander?” I then gestured for Inky to follow me “I’ll look for something for you to talk with in the city, I saw it was about twenty miles due West from here, maybe I’ll find some goddamn pants there too.”

Inky nodded, before pausing. She looked at me, and then looked down at her shadowy form. I got a feeling of doubt from her.

I smiled “Hey, I’ll do everything I can to make you comfortable, if you want, I could try to get some pants for you as well.”

She shook her head, before making a faux scary pose, pointing to herself, then acting afraid. Was she trying to say we’d cause a panic?

I then realised she had a point… “I hate to say it, but we might have to go and steal some clothes, pay them back once we can walk freely in the town.” I then smiled “Although, I gotta say you look plenty nice with nothing on~.”

I could swear her cheeks somehow got darker as she put her arms over where her privates would be and glared at me.

I laughed as I made my way to the town “Hey, you are mist, I can’t even see your naughty bits. I’m just doing this cause yer cute when flustered.”

The misty female floated after me, flicking me in the forehead and actually making me stumble to the side some.

I laughed until we got into earshot of some voices,I floated out some ink and focused, my right eye teleporting to the floating bit of ink as I looked them over from above. They were minotaurs, bandits from the looks of them. I smiled and looked to Inky, signalling for her to stay back and enjoy the show as I melted into a puddle that blended into their shadows, splitting into two puddles that began to circle them as they… relieved themselves into the bushes. I’m gonna need a shower. I quickly sucked them into the ink as the two puddles reformed into me, to which I spat out their shivering, terrified, blubbering wrecks. I then smiled “Now, how about you two show me where your base is, then turn yourselves in? You’ll be the only survivors.”

They quickly nodded and pointed towards the nearest mountains base “W-we are in the caverns… p-please, let us go!”

I smiled and gestured for them to leave, to which they got up and ran for their lives.

I looked to Inky and shuddered “I need a shower of the cleansing variety after that…” Inky was doing the giggling thing again. “Laughing at my suffering, huh? Maybe I should give you a big, wet hug?”

The shade seemed to raise an eyebrow, before floating to a tree and waving her arm through it.

I kept smiling “Well, you can touch me, makes sense I can touch you.” I said. Her eyes widened, before she vanished into the tree. I smiled “Yeah, hide while I get us a place to live!”

I then walked to the cave, smiling as I saw it was behind a waterfall. I could see Inky was still following me, and seemed to be hopping from tree to tree. I smiled and removed my kilt as I waded into the water, not wanting to soak my only clothes, which I hung on a tree branch “Like what ya see?” I looked down and grinned “Dayum, I would say I grew, but I have no idea if that’s true.”

Inky, surprisingly, floated down into the water with me. She was pointedly looking away from me however.

I then froze up as something thick brushed up against my leg “Ummm… Inky? I really hope that was you, and not some monster about to-” I was then flung skyward as a massive water monster with a glowing core uppercutted me sky high. “Damn it!” I then looked down and tried to come up with a plan as I was falling, eventually smiling as I turned liquid again, forming a hollow sphere around the core as I made it solidify and crush its core, feeling a rush of energy as the monster died, the lake falling still. I looked at Inky and smiled as I looked to the water, transforming its top layer into ink as I absorbed it, feeling my density grow as I leapt to the entrance of the caverns, still completely naked.

Inky suddenly went in front of me. She pointed to my ink, and then to my clothes, and tilted her head.

“What? You think my clothes will be fine? Maybe, but I just love the idea of kicking a bunch of bandits asses while buck naked.” I then smiled evilly at her “And, it gives me an excuse to look manly for m’lady.”

She blushed again, but shook her head. She put my clothes on the ground, drew an arrow to it, and then pointed at the spot before it and my ink.

I sighed “Okay, enough playing dumb. I’ll make some ink clothes, but we still need a home.”

I focused and made myself a tailcoat and suit pants, then looked to Inky, smiling evilly as I materialized a T shirt that said “I put the plot in plot development.”and handed it to her

She seemed to silently snicker at my offered shirt, but put it on anyway. Somehow it only made her hotter.

Dear god… “I’m sorry, but you have to take off the shirt.” my perverse mind was screaming no to this, but my gentlemanly side won out this time. “Seriously, off with the shirt.” Please don’t be blushing...

She crossed her arms and refused to take it off. Inadvertently pressing her soft breasts against the ink shirt

I then sighed, trying again “Please, don’t make me explain, it is embarrassing…” Inky let up, taking the shirt off and throwing it in my face, blinding me.

“Oh thank god, I could feel you all over my ink… it was so pervy, it felt like i was feeling you up...wonderful, but bad, bad bad bad…” Somehow, I could tell despite my sight being reduced by the shirt since I wasn’t concentrating, that her whole head was suddenly a darker shade.

I stiffly walked down the cavern and absorbed the shirt “We shall never speak of this!” I then looked to the freakin army of bandits “Just what I needed, a bunch of freaking bandits to murder!”

One massacre later

“Okay, that’s the last of em, now let’s get rid of the bodies.” I thought a moment before turning to Inky and say that she was eating something, and seemed to have a… rather attractive slightly muscled physique without changing her form too much, and exuded more power than before.

I smiled at her “So… I’m taking it you’d be okay with me absorbing the bodies, what with you basically eating their souls?”

The woman tilted her head, as if questioning why I even bothered to ask.

I shrugged and sent out an ink blot to each of them, each about the size of a thimble, before I slowly ate them whole and absorbed the ink back, feeling even denser than before. “Guh, starting to feel full. Don’t think I can hold any more matter...”I looked to Inky and smiled “Welp, looks like we have a place to sleep, hope you like hammocks.” I sighed and laid on one of many hammocks “Well, I say hammocks, but you’ll prolly have to either sleep in midair, or on me.”

She proved me wrong by floating on a hammock, laying on it. This hammock happened to be right above mine, and I blushed as it outlined her… posterior.

I sighed and flipped over, not wanting my... little friend... to give me away. I then looked back at Inky and imagined feeling her tush on my lap… mmmmffffff…

Inky seemed to move a little, and now instead of outlining her butt it just outlined her side, which was much safer on my mind.

Although… I kind of liked the view… She seemed nice, she had a good personality, and even though I teased her, she really was beautiful. Makes me wish I was a ghost like her too, then she might be interested in me. Nah, I was too weird for anybody. Should probably get to sleep anyway… Thinking of the impossible will only bum me out.

“Goodnight, inky”
