2 months after Luna’s return, Fluttershy was going to get lunch after attending a seminar on animal care. She was looking for a place that was not fancy, as she was looking around she bumped into something, she opened her eye to see a tall white unicorn mare. The mare said holding out a hoof “Pardon me, I wasn't watching where I was going, I’m Fleur De Lis.”

Fluttershy said mustering all her courage “Um, no it wasn’t your fault, it was mine.”

Fleur De Lis gasped as she realised “You only have one eye, that makes me feel worse I injured somepony with a handicap. You know what, how about I treat you to lunch ?” Fluttershy was about to say no when her stomach rumbled, she sighed sadly. Fleur laughed heartily “I’ll take you to my favourite place where I drop in for a snack.”

Fluttershy followed her to familiar doughnut shop, she didn't feel like talking, Fleur was a lady of class after all and all the courage she mustered faded. She idly sat there as Pony Joe walked up he asked “Fleur it’s a pleasant surprise to see you, what are you doing here?”

Fleur replied “I accidentally bumped into the poor dear and I thought to repay her by bringing her here.”

Pony Joe said “I see you bumped into Fluttershy.”

Fleur’s mind clicked and she said to Fluttershy “I’m so sorry I remember you from that party in Canterlot, I’m sorry about how you were treated that day.”

She replied “It’s fine you liked me and treated me with respect.”

Pony Joe asked “Would you like the usual?” Fleur nodded and then asked “What about you?”

Fluttershy said nervously “I’ll just what she’s having.” Pony Joe nodded and went off to get our donuts. She asked “Um, I don’t mean to offend but you're a model aren’t you, doesn’t eating food like this affect your figure ?”

Fleur replied “Don’t worry, I burn up ten times the amount of calories I eat here every day.”

Fluttershy blinked as she thought (That is a lot of calories). She watched as Pony Joe brought out a platter the size of the table covered in donuts, then she gasped loudly “There’s no way I can eat all that.”

Fleur said “Don’t worry I’ll share.” Pony Joe smiled as he walked out, she guessed guessing he was grateful he didn’t need to carry out another platter. As they were eating, 3 stallions entered the room, Fleur instantly took notice as she ate, her breathing slowed and her intake decreased. After they finished the meal, she said “Fluttershy I wish you a good day, stay safe.”

Fluttershy blinked at those last words, before noticing the gaze on her back. she could tell it was one of the stallions and left feeling uneasy. That uneasiness didn’t leave as she felt a presence following her, when she was at a decent distance away 2 stallions approached her, one put a hoof on her shoulder and she darted into an alleyway only to see it was a dead end. The 2 stallions approached as she backed up to the wall. The lead stallion said “Our boss will be so pleased with this catch, she will fetch a high price and I’m sure that Fancy Pants will pay plenty of bits, he clearly is interested regardless of how oblivious she is.”

Fluttershy then heard a loud sound of hooves, she saw 2 bloodied stallions one burnt and the other looked like he had been hit by lightning. The stallion in front of her asked “What happened how did you lose to that one mare?”

The burnt stallion said “She is a master of the Mystic Path.” The stallion’s eyes widened, Fluttershy saw Fleur gallop around the corner, yet in spite of all that sweat she was still beautiful. Fluttershy realised just how much muscle was hiding under that figure of hers and saw her hooves were glowing with lighting and fire, she leapt into the air and smashed the large stallions head with fire and lightning, causing him to collapse.

She landed in a pose with both hooves in front of her in a duellist’s stance Fluttershy watched as the other stallions carried him away as fast as they could only to find a regiment of guards standing there. She looked at Fleur and asked “How did you do that?”

Fleur replied “I trained under a master for a very long time, it was tough too but it taught the importance of both grace and poise.”

Fluttershy begged “Please could you teach me, I realised how helpless I am, Rainbow Dash is fast, Twilight is magically gifted, Applejack is strong, Pinkie has her party cannon and even Rarity knows basic levitation.”

Fleur said “Are you ready, to devote yourself, to this it took me years, you must be ready for it.”

Fluttershy replied “I don’t want to be useless any more, I will fight.” Fleur nodded and took me to a secret place, a small but well lit cave.

She said “Watch this and try to copy it, this stance is basis for all we do.” Fluttershy watched as she put one of her rear hooves behind the other while putting her 2 front hooves in front of her body, She tried to copy the manoeuvre only to fall over. After a few more attempts she finally managed to do the stance correctly, after 5 more tries She was able consistently match Fleur’s stance.

Fleur said “You are really impressive it took me a full week to get that bit down.” She smiled slightly at the thought.

4 months later

Fluttershy was standing in front of her friends and 1000 changeling were staring nervously at her as if afraid to make the first move. She was standing in her combat stance, her hooves glowing with ice and lightning, 300 changelings lying unconscious in front of her. The 4 of her friends behind her were shocked at her bravery and skill, she smiled as she thought (Finally, I’m no longer a burden).
