Pinkeie was not born on a Rock Farm as many ponies think but was hatched far from Equestria in a hive of changelings. She has been working on a hive under Canterlot with the help of the half-changeling Princess after her return from the moon, little does she know her mother's own plans may impact her life more than she thought possible.
