In Equestria, violence is practically banned in the peaceful country. The history taught at schools are watered down and friendly, and not a single book tells what really happened long ago. Only Princess Celestia and Luna know the horrible truth of how Equestria was built. But one day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders grow curious upon hearing of the "Great Equestrian Civil War". However, they cannot find much information on it, and everypony they ask just tells them that each side made up in a peaceful manner. Everypony, except Discord, who not only is willing to explain the conflict, but even allows the three fillies to live it.
