Author's Note

If you don't know what regression is then here's the definition since it's important to the story in the next chapter.
Regression: Psychoanalysis.the reversion to a chronologically earlier or less adapted
pattern of behavior and feeling: basically the mind goes into a mental defense and the person in question acts as a child would.

Another important note as well is PTSD or post traumatic stress disorder, it comes up when they search his memories. not the best plan to search a warriors memory especially one like Viper.

Awakening

Chapter 2 awakening

As the six ponies sat at the side of the bed staring at the creature they couldn't help but wonder what it was, what it was doing, why it hadn't woken up yet, if it liked parties, what it was wearing, and how it would react. Eventually the silence of the group broke down as Twilight came up with a plan "It's simple we just go into its memories and try to find out information about it and its species!" She exclaimed looking to her five friends who each had different looks.

"Look Twi, we get it your interested in this here creature but y'all need to calm down" Applejack said, worried Twilight might go to dissecting the creature if they didn't watch her and she could have been right Twilight had a tendency to do the wrong thing at the wrong time as history showed.

"It's okay Applejack it's just a simple memory spell to find out what it remembers" Twilight said firing up her horn aiming it at the creature and blasting out the spell to see its memories.

In Vipers memories

"Alright cadets welcome to the training course, for this challenge you must work together to get to the ending, if you manage this then you get to choose the next challenge as well as an actual dinner" the drill sergeant yelled as the cadets took position. The ponies stared at the two Cadets in front of them one looking like a younger version of the creature and the other looking like the picture it had in its pocket.

"you Ready Jack?" the older one asked.

"Hell yeah Cole" Jack replied.

As the two got ready the six noticed an older creature standing above them "3...2...1 GO!" suddenly the scene changed to an apartment it looked around night as the six watched four masked men breaking a door in.

"CLEAR!" the one with the word Viper written on his helmet yelled.

"CLEAR!" another man with a snake name this time being cobra written on the helmet

*CRASH*

"GRAB HIM"

"AFTER HIM"

"COME HERE ASSHOLE"

"VIPER WAIT"

*CRASH*

the events that the six watched was horrific the man known as VIper threw another man wearing a cloth over the railing of the apartments seventh floor. The memories continued on with one being a plane crash in someplace called new york, another creature giving a speech declaring war on a group called Al-Qaeda and a few more battles until one last memory.

"RPG!"

*BOOM*
...

"P-please don't leave me"

*wistle fading*

*BOOM*

The six were pushed from the mind of the creature when they heard a screaming sound, and as soon as they could see again they noticed the creature wide awake staring at them with a large amount of fear looking back at them. Twilight was the fist to talk in an attempt to start a conversation "Hello my name is Twilight Sparkle" She anounced thinking it was a good way to start, but right after she said that the creature suddenly moved back again falling out of the bed crawling back and away from the ponies.

"S-stay the hell away from me!" Jack yelled backing into a wall as the Cyan and Yellow pony closed the gap between him and freedom. And he did the one thing he shouldn't have he stood up! 'FUCK THIS SHIT HURTS' Jack thought as he tried to support himself on his legs which were bandaged up from the Shrapnel. Only to end up falling forward with a single grunt catching himself with his hands causing a popping sound to be announced as his shoulder popped back into place. After a bit of awkward silence Twilight decided to speak up again against her friends judgement and scaring the shit out of him again.

Only difference is he managed to somehow grab one of his weapons and cause a large *BOOM* as he shot the window open grabbing his other weapons and his gear he turned around only to see the face of the cyan Pegasus staring at him. Acting fast as she readied a hoof to punch him he quickly grabbed her by the arm and twisted her around with the handgun pointing at her head before backing out the window and limping of into the distance with the rainbow Pegasus still held hostage

"I'll send another letter to celestia now" Twilight said sighing as she blamed herself for anything that happened to Rainbow or this 'Viper' creature.
