A Midnight Rarity
A Morning Request
Previous ChapterNext Chapter“Now then, darlings, what was it you wanted to talk about?”
The three of them were sat around a table in Rarity's house, three cups and a teapot arranged in front of them.
“So, um…” Twilight looked to Sunset for help.
“The short version,” said Sunset, “is, uh —”
“You know I've been using my, er, 'Midnight Sparkle' powers?”
“Yes?”
“The thing is that 'Midnight Sparkle' kinda has, or rather is, or sort-of became, essentially, a, uh, well a separate personality from me. Sort of. Not entirely separate though, really, more like a, a shadow, or a reflection, or a harmonic set of frequencies that resonates with my own personality.”
“But she's nice,” interjected Sunset. “Or, I mean, good, just kinda… intense.”
The two exchanged nervous glances.
“I trust her completely,” ventured Twilight.
“Me too,” added Sunset hastily. “And, it's partly thanks to her that we're…” she gestured herself and Twilight.
“At the end of the day, she's just another part of me, really.”
Rarity said nothing, but patiently waited for her two friends to reach a point.
“I can't,” began Twilight “ — I mean, it's probably not safe for me to become Midnight while I'm pregnant, but it doesn't seem fair to keep her locked up. So, we were looking for someone, a willing volunteer, who would become a — strictly temporary — host to Midnight. A sort of, uh, 'demonic possession', so to speak. But they'd still be aware, and in control, just… sharing their body, and control of their body, with Midnight.”
“You'd be psychically linked to her,” added Sunset. “You'd probably see each other's thoughts, to an extent, though you could maybe also learn to hide them, with practise.”
“We'd only want you to do this if you're absolutely comfortable,” ventured Twilight, blushing slightly. “I mean, we can probably find someone else, or —”
“Oh no no darling, of course I'll help you and Midnight. Really, it's the least I can do. Anything to help my friends. So then, did you have a time in mind?”
“Well, uh,” replied Twilight, shooting another sideways glance at Sunset, “we both have the rest of the weekend free…”
“Well so have I,” beamed Rarity. “Do you need me to come over to your place, or can we do it right here?”
“Uh…” Twilight said nothing more, but glanced nervously back and forth between Sunset and Rarity.
“Right here should be fine,” interceded Sunset, “we just need a little space.”
“Um,” Twilight raised a finger, “the thing is, I mean Midnight can conjure a costume, but… when I transform, usually any clothes I'm wearing get destroyed.”
“Oh!” said Rarity, “I see. Um, would it help to use a dressing room? Or would that, uh, 'interfere with the magic', so to speak?”
“I think we can make that work,” said Sunset.
A few minutes later, Rarity was sat in a dressing room, having stripped down in preparation, with one arm poking out from behind the curtain. Twilight was sat on a chair just outside, holding Rarity's hand. Sunset was standing in front of the curtain, already glowing with her Daydream magic, hands enveloping those of Rarity and Twilight.
“Okay,” pronounced Sunset/Daydream, “I'm ready when you girls are.”
“Any time, darling,” came Rarity's voice.
“Ready,” nodded Twilight.
Inside her dressing room, Rarity shifted nervously, wondering how long this process would take, whether she should have asked beforehand, and what exactly it would feel li—
A hot chill ran through her body. She thought she would sneeze, but instead the feeling spread down from her forehead, out through her body. The sensation was akin to the build of an orgasm, more than anything else she could think of. Pressure swelled within her body, seeking release. Her bones were vibrating, and the air around her was water. There was a sinking sensation, like being on the edge of sleep, but this time oblivion was rising up to claim her. Something writhed and tickled deep within her gut, mirthless chuckles bubbling up past her ribcage. The dressing room lights grew too bright, and hard, so she closed her eyes.
Something burst. She suddenly started, as if waking from the edge of sleep, and a yelp escaped her mouth. The air was clear, and glassy. Everything was in sharp focus, sharper than she'd ever known. She could feel her bones, her muscles, every blood vessel within her, yet this was somehow comforting. The intricate entwining of her own organs held the beauty of forests. Every breath entered her body light and yellow-pink, leaving a softened blue-brown. She laughed. She didn't know why; It just felt so good to be alive, to just be.
“…ay in there?” Came a voice. Sunset's voice — her dear Sunset. She could picture Sunset's face so clearly, and that look of longing submission that Sunset would wear when right on the edge, and…
“Absoluteyes I'm marfineous Daaarlings!!” we exclaimed, pushing the thought from their mind and blushing slightly. She exclaimed. They exclaimed? Who exclaimed? She rose to Rarity's feet. Standing — that was good. She chuckled again.
“Are you sure?” That was Twilight's voice, yet it sounded strange somehow.
Rarity swept the curtain aside with a gesture, exalting in how easily she could do that, without even touching the fabric. This was power. She stepped out, revelling in the sinuation of her own stride. She could feel the magic within her crackling around her feet, sweeping her hair out, billowing and ethereal, above her.
“Darlings,” she repeated. “My Pets.” She lidded her eyes, and reached up to stroke a finger along Sunset's jawline. “I feel Positively Invigorated. I can't Begin to Tell You…” She grinned at a pleasant, recent, memory of Sunset looking up at her with those verdant eyes, Sunset's head between her thighs, Sunset's tongue kneading her quivering, purple… pussy…
Rarity blinked, and snapped her arm away, staggered by the sudden juxtaposition of her memories and… her memories. She turned her head to Twilight and…
Another memory, clear as day. Twilight was sat on the edge of her bed, lingerie pulled aside and vibrating dildo in hand, masturbating while looking straight at her, so needy, from the… other side of… the mirror. Her own reflection. She began to panic.
Rarity clasped a hand to Rarity's head as the voice inside her thoughts shouted at her with a force that made her eyes water. She swayed on Rarity's feet as Twilight jumped to her own and both girls crowded her, concerned looks and concerned words swimming around her. A fragment of sense caught her ear.
“… we'll undo…”
“NO!” The word came out more forcefully than she'd intended. They'd intended. She held up their hands. “My Petlings, I'm just wait Fine give me We're adjusting a moment wait JUST STOP!”
No-one moved, or spoke. She/they didn't even think. They just waited, for their head to calm.
“Yes,” answered Rarity, “much better.”
Her thoughts flicked back to one of her own memories, as Rarity — the time she had crafted her own dominatrix outfit, all in near-black purple. Sheer thigh boots with stiletto heels, finger-less evening gloves, a leather corset that lifted her breasts and thrust her bare nipples outwards. Her leather thong bore an ostentatious zipper for the crotch, a garter-belt worn over the top more for show than because her stockings needed holding up. A choker collar completed the ensemble. The silk linings had been expensive, but entirely worth it. The makeup she wore with it bordered on tacky, with every intent of being whoreish, but she pulled it off. Not that there had been any witnesses — just a mannequin, augmented with a strap-on and bound to her workbench, the better to play out her fantasies with. And a mirror, of course, since she could ask no-one else for their appraisal.
Rarity lingered on the memories of that evening just a touch longer than she had intended, until she felt the prickle of warmth in her loins, and a distinct sensation of… smugness, from Midnight.
“Rarity?” Sunset spoke, “are you okay?”
Both Sunset and Twilight were staring at her, nervously sliding their gazes up and down — no doubt the infusion of magic had worked quite a transformation on her, she really needed to check a mirror. Firstly, though, her friends were concerned. Their expressions said as much — concern, awe, rapt attention with perhaps a tinge of embarrassment.
“Oh yes, Darlings, really.” Rarity felt the confidence swell within her once more, her new bond with Midnight settling into something more harmonious. She grinned. “We Had a moment's difficulty, but I'm certain Midnight and I can find a proper Balance.”
“Uh…” Sunset and Twilight both nodded in nervous agreement, their eyes not leaving her, their faces both quite flushed.
“Really, darlings,” she reassured them, striking a confident pose — one hand on her hip, the other raised, palm upturned. Feet slightly apart, head held high. “I am Perfectly…” her voice trailed off, as her friends' reactions placed doubt in her mind. Her eyes drifted down, her head following as she looked down at her own body. “Naked,” she finished.
“Ah,” she added.
Indeed, though it had somehow escaped her notice until this point, there was not a hint of clothing anywhere on her body. Her skin had taken on a light blue tone, still darker than usual, but the darkening of her nipples was, from her perspective, more pronounced. Perhaps it was her imagination, but her breasts seemed a tad firmer and more prominent than usual, and maybe it was only the now dark-blue hue of her areolas that made them seem larger than she remembered. Her carefully trimmed brush of public hair, similarly darkened, drew the gaze downwards to the blue line of her vaginal lips.
Slowly, she closed her legs, and brought her hands in to cover her crotch and breasts, as best she could. She giggled nervously.
“Ah, heh, p-please excuse us a moment, darlings.”
Her words snapped her friends from their reverie, and both immediately, if quite belatedly, averted their gaze, muttering apologies.
Rarity backed into the dressing room, closing the curtain with a flick of her finger, and only then relaxing slightly.
Rarity turned, seeing her altered form in full for the first time. Her hair had darkened, streaks of black running through the purple, but there were winking flecks of brighter purple, like tiny stars. Her eyes glowed with pale cyan light. It seemed her makeup had changed along with her skin — darker, deeper, more… mature than her usual "look". There were no flames around her eyes, but her pupils had contracted to a disturbing degree.
She had wings. Crystalline and blue, they glittered in the dim light. Her eyes widened, and she smiled — properly lit, and attired, she would look fabulous.
