“You’re a monster!” these words have been playing around in my head for some time now. It’s been months sense our little break up. I don’t know exactly what made me monstrous. I always tried my hardest when it came to her. And one day she tries to end it so I get upset and say some things I now regret… But don’t get me wrong, I am over her; have been for a long time. Just tired of being alone is all.

But this would be a nightmare. So I asked a few of the guys that worked around. No offers to drive me home, no sympathy. I had no choice but to rough it out.

It was cold out, well as cold as it gets in Texas… Limping home was no easy task especially sense the pain was kicking in now more than ever. The blood and the cool air made my foot feel freezing. I held out the knife threatening them. “Let’s go! There is at least a hundred dollars in here!” the shorter man yelled as he ran away. The other man soon followed.

I finally made it home, slamming open my door. Trudging through the house in pain, I was too tired to eat, drink or anything. I would worry about the wallet in the morning right now I just wanted this day to be over, I cleaned my foot off, plopped into bed, and fell asleep almost instantaneously.

“You monster!”  They roared

“No but I didn’t….” I tried to explain

“Liar” They accused

I felt safe and closed my eyes drifting back to sleep. Wait a hand?! I tried not to panic. I leaned up slowly not to wake the stranger next to me. I looked to see what I could not believe. When she stirred, I froze instantly. She flipped over allowing me to freely escape. I took one step off the bed and *creeeeek* damn wooden floors.

“Huh, what?” She said in a sweet voice flipping back over to see what the noise was. I dared not turn back to see her. “Something wrong sweet heart?” She asked. Sweet heart? Defender of Equestria? Saved the world numerous times? Who was I? Who am I to save this world I don’t even know from plunging into chaos?

“Your reign of tyranny is over Discord!” I yelled.

“No not back to the stone anything but that!” He pleaded

I stood over him with sword in hand.

“I had something worse in mind” I swung my sword down when it was interrupted by spell.

“What is this Lily Fae? You know what has to be done.” Still trying to bring the sword down on Discord.

“No she shouted, this isn’t what I taught you!” she cried out

My eyes widened, and I let go of the sword. Letting it fall to the side.

“Ha, you’re not so strong now without your sword are you?” Discord laughed trying to slither away. But I caught him by the throat and started choking him. Discords antlers began to glow and soon he changed places with me. He was choking me now. I got my arm free and reached to grab for his face. My fingers landed in his eye socket, it immediately began spewing blood. He tripped and fell off the cloud we were standing on and we plummeted tward the grove below us. Suddenly the elements of harmony appeared. Loyalty snatched me out of the air. And Magic created a portal just as discord was about to hit the ground casting him to somewhere, where he couldn’t hurt any pony.
