Bubble Goo Gives Pinkie One Last Chance

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Hours after school ended, Bubble Goo lied down on his bed with his face on his pillow. He couldn't eat or do anything since he got home from school, feeling upset that his favorite holiday was horrible. Suddenly, his phone rang, and sure enough, it was a call from Pinkie Pie. Apparently, it would be the last thing he needed.

“Oh…, now she wants to call me?” He sighed in frustration he picked up his phone.

“Bubble Goo!” Pinkie shouted on the phone. He looked up at the ceiling, not even being in the mood for any fun.

“What do you want? I’m at home, I have zero plans during the weekend, and I don’t want to see you.” Bubble boasted. This made Pinkie a little neglected since she really wanted to make up with him.

“Aww, come on, Hubba Bubba.” Pinkie pouted.

“Please don’t call me that. I know it’s something girls flirt with boys but it’s way too late for that.”

“We still have time, but we can make it last it longer. Come to my place.”

Bubble groaned angrily, wondering why she couldn't even let it go. “You're still not listening to me, are you?”

“I did, in fact...” She used her lightly sincere tone to get another chance. “Please hang out with me during the weekend. I have a lot planned for us.”

Bubble Goo had second thoughts about what she had in store, but he decided to give her one more chance. “Fine I’ll come over tonight.”

“Thank You, Hubba Bubba! See you tonight!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed happily and hung up, which left Bubble Goo still in bewilderment.

“After all these times she disrespected me, how can she still be happy?” Bubble Goo thought to himself. Still laying on his bed, he had to collect his thoughts, but he eventually got up. He put on his shoes as he made his way to Pinkie Pie’s place. Recently, Pinkie gave him her house address after their phone call, so Bubble would know where she lives.

“I hope we have a talk about this.” he said to himself. Once Bubble Goo got to her house, he paused, feeling unimpressed and tired after the time he had in this month. He wished that he regretted giving Pinkie another chance, but knowing his inner pride this time, he figured that won't be disappointed. After ringing the doorbell, Pinkie Pie immediately opened the door, surprising him with confetti.

“Happy Valentine’s Day Bubble Goo!” Pinkie shouted as she took his hand and pulled him into her house. Bubble fell down after she let go of him.

“Very pleasant, Pinkie Pie. Very pleasant.” He said sarcastically as he got up to his feet.

“Aww. You're still mad at me about today?” Pinkie Pie asked, feeling less depressed that he was still furious at her.

“Look, since I'm here, how are you going to repay me?”

Pinkie Pie quickly took out her list of plans for the weekend. “Well, I made a list for what we're going to do this weekend.”

“Are you going to show me it?”

“It’s for me to know, and you to find out...” Pinkie winked, putting her list back in her pocket.

“Okay, so what are we going to do?”

“Well, first off, We're going to the basement, and play games and take selfies. Come on!” Pinkie took his hand and lead him to her basement, where the door is purple and filled with video game posters. Pinkie’s behavior was taking full effect on Bubble, who was still expecting something amazing. Willing to make it up to him, she tried her best to have everything perfect for her partner.

“I’m a gamer when I play with Rainbow Dash, but since you don’t play video games, we should play co op together.” she explained before leading him to where the console and TV set was. He blushed unknowingly since he felt the touch of Pinkie’s hand as he stood in place. He never touched Pinkie ever since they paired together, and during this moment, this was the first time a girl did something like that to him.

Pinkie Pie couldn’t move because Bubble Goo was still standing in place and feeling her hand. “Umm? Bubble Goo? Are you going to use your legs to move?”

Bubble Goo woke up to reality. “Oh sorry! It’s just that you're the first girl to ever take my hand...”

This made Pinkie smiled with a cute giggle. “It’s okay Bubble. I think it’s sweet that you're relaxing instead of you doing all the work.”

Bubble Goo was slightly digging her new behavior, but it wouldn't stop there just yet. Pinkie’s basement was indeed filled with arcade machines, gaming systems, and even pictures of Pinkie herself playing games with several of her friends.

“Man! you have a lot of variety down here.” Bubble Goo uttered, being amazed at Pinkie’s game room.

“I work at a Sweet Snacks Cafe as a carhop, and I work really hard to earn a lot of money. When we do a commercial, I add so much love and passion by having the couples love each other and express what they love in the Cafe.” Pinkie explained.

“Wait, you just help out a couple? Because you paid zero attention to me when we were in this experience...”

Pinkie stopped in depression. She didn’t wanted to remember the mistakes she did. So, she got herself back in a good mood she was in. “Let’s talk about that later, okay?”
