Pinkie’s Private Apology
Sunset Helps Pinkie
Previous ChapterNext ChapterMeanwhile, the girls cleaned up the gym after the surprise failed party. Pinkie Pie come into the gym as she looks everywhere on what Bubble Goo did. The party wasn’t that spectacular since the decorations he did were poor and there's only s’mores and drinks. Applejack did little of what she can to help Bubble Goo.
“Rainbooms.” She said as everyone looked at her. “Did he did all of this?”
“Yes.” Everyone said, besides Applejack.
“Well technically I helped him for the most part. He told me he doesn't know how to throw a party and he tries his best to get your attention.” Pinkie Pie walked up to Applejack.
“Applejack, I don’t know what to say. I feel like pudding now.”
Pinkie Pie sat down on the ground, feeling depressed after what happened moments ago. For a short while, the whole gym was finally cleaned up.
“Pinkie, you've been sitting down on the floor for ten minutes.” Fluttershy said, approaching to Pinkie’s aid. “I’m sorry, but this isn’t going to help your problem.”
“Can you please leave me alone?” Pinkie needed some time alone.
“Unfortunately, darling...” Rarity said. “Can you try something to make Bubble feel better?”
“He won’t accept my apology after everything that happened.” Pinkie explained.
“Well, how about giving him a Valentine’s Day gift?” Rainbow Dash had to come up with an idea.
“It’s too late. I’m just going to throw a party by myself at home.” Pinkie uttered in gloom. As soon as everyone finished cleaning the gym, they left Pinkie Pie, who was still feeling guilty. However, Sunset Shimmer decided to stay with Pinkie Pie to help with her situation.
“Hey, Pinkie Pie.” She called Pinkie. “There’s something I need to show you.”
“Okie Dokie Lokie.” Pinkie uttered sadly. By the time they were at the hallways, Sunset took her to her locker, where she obtained something from Valentine’s Day with Flash. She handed what seemed to be photos to Pinkie Pie. The photos she had where photos and love letters with and from Flash Sentry.
“I had these photos years ago with Flash Sentry. That weren't supposed to be all about parties, We actually hung out and gotten to know each other, a lot!”
Pinkie Pie took a moment to look at the photos, and realized what she was supposed to do during this time of the year.
“Sunset, here’s the thing. I never hung out with a boy before, and I just think that Valentine's Day feels like a sad moment where someone…. wants someone.” She muttered.
Sunset had to shed some light onto her statement. “Pinkie, people have different opinions on what their favorite holiday is. Just because Christmas or Halloween is the best time of the year doesn’t mean people can agree it’s the best holiday ever. Bubble Goo worked really hard every year we come to Valentine’s Day. He may make great treats, but he had a hard time preparing a surprise party for you.”
Sunset also came across a bag she found in the trash. “Do you even read any of his letters for you?”
“Well… No.” Pinkie sadly explained. “I also didn’t respond to his text messages. I was too busy throwing parties at home.”
“Why can’t you throw a party for him.”
“That’s the issue. Our principals emailed us to have our pairing partners to take pictures outside of school, not just in school. But even with that, I don’t think Bubble Goo would ever forgive me. Besides, we only have the weekend off before the dance on Monday.”
Sunset thought more about Pinkie’s situation. “Maybe you should make up the mistakes you did over the past week. Like showing him how much you feel sorry. Play video games with him, or take him to where you work… try to make him feel like you're a very sweet and charming girl.”
Pinkie Pie thought about Sunset’s advice, then eventually, she found the solution. Her eyes lidded, making a seductive smile on her face.
“Ummmm? Did you understand what I’m saying Pinkie?” She looked at her, trying to gain her attention. Pinkie did listen to her, but wanted to shake things up.
“Oh, I think I got the picture....” She winked with a cute look on her face, hopping around Sunset. “Maybe Bubble and I should hang out this weekend and do something together. Sure, I maybe not a interest in love, but I do know how to get him satisfied.”
“Wait, what?! That’s not what I meant by impressing him.” Sunset called to Pinkie Pie, who hopped and skipped out of the front door and on her way home.
Sunset sighed. “Bubble Goo’s going to have a long weekend with her...”
