Episode 1: Part 1: The New Girl

It was another day at Canterlot High and all the students were in walking to class. A special group of friends were walking to their history class; Starla Shine, Buddy Rose, Artie Bristles, Rhymey, the spanish twins, Dyno and Myte La Guava, Lightning Dawn and the mane six.

"I can't wait for histroy class!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Ugh. You are such an egghead, Twilight." Rainbow dash complained.

"I'm not an egghead." Twilight countered. Everybody else rolled their eyes. They walked into the classroom and Lightning took his seat at his teacher's desk while his friends took to their normal seats. Just when Lightning was about to start talking, Principal Celsetia came with a new girl; she had pink skin with aquamarine hair with pls purple streak in it. She wore a light purple shirt with dark purple pants and she had a necklace around her neck.

"Hello Lightning, this is Jewel, she's new to the school." She started.

"Hi Jewel." Lightning greeted.

Jewel waved her hand in a "hello" gesture and didn't speak. "You can take a seat near Starla, okay?" Lightning asked.

Jewel nodded again and walked to her seat. Principal Celestia exited the classroom and the lesson began. LIghtning asked questions about the lessons topic; The Civil War. He asked many deep thinking questions about the topic, but nobody could come up with answers, except Jewel. Every question Lightning asked, Jewel answered it correctly.

Almost everybody in the class was impressed..... well not everyone. A girl about a foot taller than Jewel was, with long blonde hair, wearing a tilted pink beret with a matching pink sweater and white wind breaker.

This was Nikki Trent, a popular girl at the school, but definitely a Queen Bee, who liked to insult other students she regarded as nerdy.

With her were her two underlings, Amber and Dionne. Amber had long red hair and wore a black shirt with tan pants, and Dione had long black hair and she wore a white T-shirt with matching white pants.

Together, they were called “The Jazzies” a rather odd name, but Nikki picked it and no one dared question her about it for fear of her wrath. Trent, a popular girl at the school, but definitely a Queen Bee who liked to insult other students she regarded as nerdy. They looked at Jewel with scrowling faces.

After fourth period, Jewel was alone, walking to lunch when she got blocked by the three girls. "Um.... excuse me." Jewel tried to walk pass them but the girls blocked her again. "You're not going anywhere." the Nikki said. Jewel began looking extremely nervous and afraid of the girls threatening manner. "You think your soooo smart, well nobody outshines the Jazzies. Grab her girls!"

Her friends began to approach Jewel, and began dragging her away. She tried to wiggle out of their grip. “There’s no use on struggling.” Amber stated.

"W-What are you g-gonna go to me?" Jewel asked nervously. The Jazzies took Jewel to the back of the school, to where the dumpsters are. Nikki opened a lid on the dumpster and Amber and Dionne tossed Jewel in. Then they locked it by attaching a latch to the top and bottom! Jewel held her nose at the horrid stench. “Cough...Cough... uuhhh... it reeks!” she cried.

"That's what you get for being a nerd." Nikki declared. "Come on girls." Nikki and her friends left.

About twenty minutes later, Jewel finally climbed out the dumpster with the smell of garbage covering her entire body. She miserably walked back into the school. The bell rang, meaning that she missed lunch.

Jewel sighed and walked off to her next class. Starla and her friends were in cooking class, taught by Cupcake and Carrot Cake, the cafeteria workers. Jewel walked in and the students immediately smelled something weird.

"What's that smell?" Starla asked.

"No idea." Buddy answered.

Cooking class began, the class was tasked with making cookies. Jewel did everything perfectly, but when she went to get the sugar and cinnamon for the batter, the Jazzies put extra baking powder in her batter, making it rise.

When Jewel came back, the batter rose so much that it exploded and covered her in batter. All the students, except for Starla and friends, laughed at her. Jewel's eyes filled with tears and she dashed out of the classroom, crying. Starla and her friends saw everything and were not happy!

"Nikki! How could you do such a thing to her?!" Starla asked in anger.

"She got what she deserved." Nikki replied.

"She didn't do anything to you," Dyno started and Myte finished his sentence, "and yet you go and humiliate her on her first day."

“There is no rule,
For you to be so cruel to Jewel.” Rhymey growled.

"You should be ashamed of yourselves." Rainbow added.

"Come on y'all let's go find her." Applejack replied. The mane six and their friends exited the classroom and spread out to look for Jewel, even Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna and Lightning were helping after hearing what happened

"Jewel!" Sunset cried.

Whoo-Hoo!
Where are you?" Rhymey shouted.

"Jewel, please come out!" Starla added.

"Jewel, darling, where are you?" Rarity said.

“Come out, Come out wherever you are!” Pinkie called. Soon Dyno and Myte found her by the Wondercolts statue, crying her eyes out and rubbing her stomach.

"Poor chica." Dyno said. As the boys approached Jewel, they could hear her stomach growling, "I don't think she ate anything at lunch. Now that I mention that I didn't see her at lunch at all." Myte added.

"Well, either way, she's starving." Dyno replied. The two brothers approached her and gave Jewel an apple. Jewel looked up at the two brothers with a fearful expression. "Here chica." Dyno said. Jewel gently took the apple and she gobbled down immediately. When she was done, they asked her,

"Hey Jewel, you okay?" Dyno asked.

"*Sniffle* I-I dont know." Jewel replied.

Dyno and Myte looked at each other and nodded. They looked back at Jewel and started to sing;

After the song, the rest of the gang found them. "Jewel, darling, are you alright?" Rarity asked.

Jewel shook her head.

Principal Celestia sat down next to Jewel. "Jewel, please tell us what's the matter. We're all here to help you." she added. Jewel wiped her eyes and started telling the gang what happened. When she was done, they were shocked and furious.

“Nikki and her friends threw you into some garbage!” Rainbow cried.

"How dare those ruffians throw you into a ghastly dumpster!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Of all the dirty tricks they've done
This is by far their most devious one" Rhymey added in anger.

"Oh, you poor thing." Fluttershy said, while hugging Jewel.

"Those girls have really done it this time. Bullying a new kid; unacceptable." Luna said. As much as everyone was upset about the Jazzies, right now Jewel needed their support and comfort.

"Don't worry Jewel, we won't let anybody bully or hurt you, again." Artie said.

“R-Really?” Jewel asked.

“Really, were your friends.” Lightning added.

“Friends?” Jewel replied.

"Yea, just stick with us and you’ll be fine." Rainbow added. Jewel smiled at her newfound friends returned to school.

At the end of the school day, Jewel was walking by herself when the gang came beside her. "So Jewel what are you going to do after school?" Artie asked.

"Just read. Like I always do." Jewel replied.

"And what else?" Artie added.

"....That's it."

"Really? You don't have any other hobbies or activites you like to do?" Rainbow asked. “What’s a hobby?” Jewel asked. The friends looked at her with a lot of confusion. “You don’t know what a hobby is?” Pinkie asked.

“Yes. All my family did was hunt and sleep.” Jewel replied. That left the gang even more confused. “So why don’t you just go out and find something you like to do?” Sunset asked.

"I'm always shy around people and don't talk alot. Also my parents said don’t go outside unless is absolutely necessary."

"And?" Applejack added.

"..... That's it." Jewel said. The others found her parents rules really confusing but they didn’t press of the matter any further.

“Besides, nobody would want anything to do with me.” The friends looked at each other in concern. Jewel was really down in the dumps and they needed a way to lift her spirits. "Hey Jewel, you wanna have a sleepover at my house?" Fluttershy asked.

"Really?" Jewel asked. Fluttershy nodded. "Well...okay."

That night, Jewel, Twilight, Lightning, Buddy, Rhymey, Sunset and Rainbow dash were all at Fluttershy's house for Jewel's first slumber party. They arrived at her house and entered. They started off by telling Jewel about themselves. They told Jewel they were the power rangers, a team of heroes who protect their home from danger.

When it was Jewel's turn, she sounded really sad, telling the gang that she grew up without her parents and was raised by a pack of wolves for her entire life.

“So that explained your rules.” Sunset mumbled.

"Woah... that's awesome! You were raised by wolves, literally!" Lightning exclaimed. Jewel nodded, "But I don't think that's special at all."

"Why not?" Sunset asked.

"Oh.... no reason. It's just why claim that you're special, when you're not." Jewel replied. The friends looked at her with sad and concerned eyes. "I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight." Jewel walked upstairs to get ready for bed, while the others processed what happened.

"Did Jewel just say she's nothing special?!" Rainbow asked.

"Yes." Sunset replied.

"But that can't be true! Everybody has something special about them. Like us having incredible powers." Lightning added.

"Raised by wolves, I didn’t know,
That’s something everybody should know,
But Jewel Crystal is very shy,
Even more than my dear Fluttershy." Rhymey said.

"Then it's settled, tomorrow we'll help Jewel find a hobby and probably make new friends." Twilight concluded. Everybody nodded and prepared for bed. Upstairs, in the guest room, she was lying down on her bed, staring at the ceiling.

"I wish I could be special just like my friends" she thought. With that she fell asleep for the night.

Episode 2: Part 2: The New Girl

Meanwhile, On a tiny rocky island, a few hundred miles from Mystic Island, the prison tower still stood undiscovered, and still house so many different monsters and villains from the dimensional universe.

On the shores of the island, three despicable creatures, Vulcan’s former minions, wearily climbed up out of the waters where they had been swimming for weeks since falling from the sky.

Marla: A very beautiful humanoid lady. She had pale grey skin, pointy ears, long, flowing light pink hair that ran all the way near the ground. She wore a red, sparkling, armored vest with a black skirt attached and matching black boots on her feet, and long fingerless black gloves. If her ability to create more Lingos was as skillful as her diva-attitude… who knows what she’d be capable of.

Bronc: A big muscular armored creature, and the computer and technological expert of the group. He was much taller and muscular than the others. Very little of his actual body was scene as he was covered in head to toe in white and blue armor, complete with a helmet hiding his features. He almost looked robotic, but he wasn’t.

Keto: A mage, though shorter than the others, about up to Marla’s upper-body. He skin was gold colored, he wore a black witch hat, a red cape, a green robe, and he carried a long metal staff with an upside-down crescent-moon with a large red ruby in the center at the top.

All three of them were soaked to the bone and panting stressfully, “I never thought we’d make it!” cried Keto “I’ll never swim again for the rest of my life!”

Marla tweaked her nose in attempt to clear her sinuses from all that salt water. “My hair, my clothes, by nose…!” she whined “You two are going to pay for this! I MEAN IT!! It’ll take a miracle to make me beautiful again!”

Keto sighed, “How can you be thinking about all that at a time like this!”

“I think about my looks all the time.” sneered Marla.

Bronc could only grumble to himself, “I should’ve let the rangers destroy me when I had the chance than put up with this!”

The minions retreated to the top of the tower where they used to meet with Vulcan in the lab.

“What are we supposed to do now?” asked Keto.

“I don’t know!” sneered Bronc “With Vulcan gone, we need a new plan!”

“…I couldn’t agree more.” said a voice from across the room. The minions looked towards the entrance of Vulcan’s private lab and saw someone standing in the shadows.

“Who are you supposed to be?” Marla rudely asked.

The creature stepped forth, and much to the minions’ surprise, he looked exactly like Vulcan; humanoid like alien, and he wore a black armored vest, with a black overcoat, with matching black pants, black boots with spikes at the toes.

Only he was half Vulcan’s size, his scaly skin and his fiery hair were blue instead of red.

“…Vulcan?” Bronc asked in disbelief.

The creature snickered and said, “Not really. The name is Nacluv, and I’m your new boss.”

Marla raised an eyebrow, “Nacluv?”

“It’s “Vulcan” spelled backwards.” said Keto.

“That’s correct.” hissed Nacluv “Your leader, Vulcan, created me in his image and gave me his very thought patterns. His reasons were that I would continue his legacy, if in the unlikely event he’d fall. So here I am.”

“Uh, yeah… like I’m going to take orders from a shrimp.” Marla teased, “Now, if you’ll excuse me. I’m going to hit the hot-tub.”

Nacluv didn’t take kindly to her insults, and demonstrated, by blasting a blaze of fire at, just missing her, but making a huge hole in the wall, frightening her and her comrades.

“Did I forget to mention Vulcan gave me his powers as well… and they’re JUST as lethal? So maybe you ought to show a little more respect next time!”

Marla fearfully turned round, and as for Keto and Bronc, they also gave in and bowed their heads to their new master.

“That’s more like it.” hissed Nacluv. “Now, go and feed the prisoners and report back here! We’ve got a lot of work to do…”

“YES SIR!!” the three shouted, and they dashed off to get to their duties, while Nacluv sat himself in the big chair by the computers, “I think I’m going like being in charge, and my first directive: Destroy the rangers, and then conquer the world!" He laughed wickedly, but then his voice cracked, “I think I need time to work on that.”

Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash and the rest of their friends were outside for lunch and helping Jewel be more social with other people. So far it wasn't going well....

....Whenever Rainbow or Applejack tried to introduce Jewel to any of their friends, she only waved at them and then ran away.

Next, the friends tried to find Jewel a hobby. Rainbow tried teaching Jewel how to play guitar......

......Which ended with Jewel just placing the guitar down and walking away because she was too scared to play in front of Rainbow.

Buddy tested Jewel in gardening. Jewel ended up killing some of the plants, making Buddy scream like a banshee.

Every hobby they tested with Jewel failed except for Fluttershy's, volunteering at the animal shelter. As soon as Jewel walked in Fluttershy noticed a huge difference in personality.

She was interacting with every animal in the shelter from kittens to birds. When she told the gang about it they were relived and surprised.

"Sounds like she's really into animals." Lightining said.

"Seems like it." Starla added.

Pinkie pie spotted Mr. Grandruler, their team mentor and his wife, Principal Celestia taking their infant children on a stroll. The gang waved over at them, and the couple waved back and then strolled over and joined their friends. The babies, Castor and Leilani, cooed from their double carriage.

“Aw, aren’t you two cute.” Fluttershy cooed as she playfully tickled their little chins. "Trust me, they aren’t so cute when they’re spitting up on you all the time.” Celestia joked.

“At least it gives you both something to do.” said Buddy. Everybody heard some giggling and saw Jewel with an unusual creature. "Is that a deer?" Rainbow asked.

"What's a deer doing here? They're usually very shy." Flutteshy added. The deer was nuzzling Jewel and she rubbed it's neck in response.

"She seems to have a special connection with animls just like Fluttershy." Celesto said. The deer leaped away and Jewel approached the gang. "Hi."

"Jewel, care to explain how you go so close to that deer?" Celestia asked.

"I've always had a weird thing with animals especially wild. When I was young different animals from big cats to eagles always seemed to appear near me whenever I was sad or in need." Jewel explained. The friends were amazed.

Castor and Leilani suddenly babbled and reached their tiny arms out to Jewel.

"Aww, look, they want to see Jewel." Fluttershy cooed.

Jewel went to the stroller and kneeled down in front of the babies.

"Um. Hi."

The babies laughed and Jewel tickled their tummies. The babies yawned and fell alseep in the stroller.

"Awwww." Everybody said. They didn't realize they were being watched by Marla, Keto and Bronc. "I'm sensing strong magic coming from the pink one." Marla said.

"The one with the puffy hair?" Keto asked.

"No! The one with the purple streak in her hair!" Bronc hissed.

"Interesting. Let's go tell Nacluv." Marla stated. The three teleproted back to Prison Tower and reported to Nacluv.

Nacluv was intereged by the news. "Powerful magic, you say. Well we can't leave that walk around now, can we?" Nacluv said. “We must have that magic for ourselves.”

"So what's the plan, Master?" Keto asked.

"Simple. We'll strike when she's all alone." Nacluv stated, "And steal her magic and then we’ll become unstoppable!" Nacluv and his minions laughed.

Later, when school was over, Jewel was walking by herself, near the soccer field. The sky was blue and the birds were chriping.

"So peaceful." she thought. Jewel was so foucused on the scenery that she didn’t notice a figure in the trees nearby. Suddenly, a thick strand of pink hair came out of nowhere and wrapped around her. "What the-" then the hair yanked her off into the forest, near the school. Jewel screamed in panic, but she was too far away for anybody to hear her, except for one creature, who ran off to get help.

Meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer and her friends were looking around for Jewel. They haven't seen her for two hours, since she went to the field and were worried. They regrouped, "Did you guys find her?" Sunset asked.

"I got nothing!" Rainbow replied.

"Me either." Fluttershy added.

"Nope." Lightning said. He turned towards the forest and saw the weirdest thing.

"Ummm... Guys, am I seeing things, or is that a wolf running towards us?" he asked. The gang looked and saw it was a wolf. A gray wolf to be precise, running at top speed. The wolf slowed down and stopped in front of Fluttershy, barking and softly growling. Fluttershy gasped when the wolf stopped speaking.

"What's wrong Fluttershy?" Sunset asked.

"The wolf said that some pink-haired monster came and kidnapped Jewel." she replied.

"WHAT?!" Everybody exclaimed.

"And it saw three other monsters. One was like a robot and the others had a staff and first blue hair." Fluttershy added.

"Nacluv and his minions!" Lightning said.

“What could they want with Kewel?” Buddy asked.

"I don’t k so but we’ve got to get Jewel back and fast. Come on!" Rainbow replied. The gang followed the wolf into the forest to rescue their friend.

Meanwhile, in the forest, Jewel was tied up against a tree with think ropes, surrounded by the four monsters. "W-What do you want with me?" Jewel asked nervously. Keto approached her. "We just want to have a little fun with you, human and we'll start by draining your magic." Keto explained. Jewel gulped nervously.

”My magic?” Jewel thought to herself.

"HEY!" A voice screamed.

The villans turned and saw Lightning and the team. "Guys!" Jewel cried happily.

"Ahh. So the rangers came to rescue their little friend, huh?" Marla taunted.

"Let her go right now!" Lightning demanded.

"You'll have to get pass us first." Bronc added.

Lightning, Sunset, Fluttershy, Rhymey, Buddy and Rainbow Dash all transformed in rangers.

"Morphin Sequence, Ready!"

"STARFLEET MAGIC.... POWER ON!"

The team charged towards the monsters while Lightning and the wolf went to free Jewel. "Don't worry Jewel, we'll get you out." Lightning used his strength to pry the vines apart while the wolf used it's canine teeth. Soon, she was free.

The team were faring well against the monsters.

"Let's split!" Keto suggested.

"Agreed." Marla added. With that, the monsters disappeared! The rangers powered down their suits and went to Jewel, who was shaking badly and whimpering.

"Hey, you okay Jewel?" Sunset asked.

Jewel was buried in Lightning's shoulder, whimpering and unable to speak with her eyes closed. "Shhh. Easy Jewel, easy." Lightning soothed.

Later, the friends took Jewel to Mr.Grandruler's mansion and explained eveything to him and Principal Celsetia.

"Very distressing. No wonder Jewel's like this." He said.

"Do you have any idea why the monsters would attack her?" Celestia asked. Everybody shook their heads. "Well, until we find their true motive, we must keep an eye on Jewel." Celestia added. Everybody agreed. Then, they all went to bed for the night.

Meanwhile, Nacluv and his minions were hiding in the shadows, outside the mansion.

"Time to put our back-up plan into action." Nacluv stated. He and his minions laughed evily.

Episode 3: A Mystic Island Disaster

The next morning, Jewel woke up and went down to have some breakfast. When she entered the living room she noticed that all her friends' sleeping bags were empty and there was an ominous silence.

"Where is everybody?" She thought. She looked all around the house and found no sign of her friends except for Spike and Krysta, Lightning's pet robin.

"Spike, Krysta, have you guys seen Lightning and the others?" Spike and Krysta shook their heads.

"This isn't like them. Where could they have gone?" Jewel asked.

Just then, a big screen appeared in front of Canterlot High and everybody could see and hear it. Nacluv apprared on the screen.

"Greetings people of Mystic Island. We have your little rangers and their team mentor."

The screen changed to see Twilight, Lightning, Sunset Shimmer and the rest of the team, including Mr. Grandruler and Principal Celestia! They were all tied to the outside of the rocket with thick ropes.

"If you ever want to see them again, meet me in the cave at the Hawaiian Island.....if you dare!"

With that the video ended. The people were in a mass panic!

"Not good!" Spike said, How did they even kidnapped them?"

"They must have snuck into the mansion and nabbed them while they were asleep." Krysta said, "Now what?"

"Don't worry, they have their morphers, so they should be fine." Spike reassured.

"Uh, you mean these morphers?" Jewel asked, pointing to the floor where the morphers layed. "Oh no! They don't have their powers. That's so not good." Krysta said.

"What do we do now?" Spike asked in panic.

"We'll have to rescue them." Krysta said.

"How? We don't have the powers we need to rescue them or fight those monsters!" While Spike and Krysta agrued, they suddenly heard Jewel speak up, "I'll do it"

"Huh?"

"I'll go to the Hawaiian Island and rescue my friends." Jewel added.

"WHAT?! Jewel you can't! You'll be creamed by them. You don't have any powers or magic." Krysta objected.

"Yeah, but if I don't do anything, our friends are done for." Spike and Krysta saw that there was no way to talk Jewel out of this.

"Then we're going with you." Spike said.

"Us too." A voice added. Krysta, Spike and Jewel turned and see Vice Principal Luna, Celestia's sister and Celesto's sister-in-law, Cadence and Shining Armor, Celestia and Celesto's niece and nephew.

"We wanna help too. No monsters' gonna threaten my family." Luna said. Cadence and Shining Armor agreed.

"Right! Let's go!" Krysta said.

Soon, the friends all arrived at Hawiian Island, by flying Celesto's limo that turned into a rocket. Luna landed the rocket-car and they all exited. Looking at the ominously, quiet enviornment, Cadence said, "Creepy"

"Come on let's go find the cave and rescue our friends!" Spike announced. The friends all cheered and dashed off.....except for Jewel. The gang stopped running and saw Jewel standing there, shaking.

"Hey, Jewel you okay?" Shining asked.

"I-I can't do this." Jewel whispered.

"Huh?" Cadence asked.

"I can't do this! I'm not a hero like them!" Jewel added.

"Aww, Jewel. You can do this!" Cadence said.

"How? I'll be creamed in two seconds!" Jewel asked.

Cadence, Luna and Shining Armor could tell Jewel need some confidence. They looked at each other and back at Jewel and started singing.

"You can save them. You have to believe in yourself." Kyrsta reassured.

Jewel smiled, "Okay. Lets go!"

They all raced down the beach and spotted the cave Nacluv was talking about. They heard some voices and entered, tracking the voices lead them to a large cavern, the group saw their friends and the monsters. They peeked in and listened.

"Finally, we'll get rid of these pests for good!" Marla declared.

"You won't get away with this!" Mr. Grandruler sneered.

"We've already have, nobody's coming to save you. They won't even know what happened to you..... once we launch you into space!" Nacluv exclaimed.

Cadence, Luna, Shining Armor, Spike, Kyrsta and Jewel gasped in horror.

Marla pressed a button on the control panel and a timer appeared starting at five minutes and counting down. "Once this timer reaches zero, you'll be blasted into space with no way to come back. HAHAHA!" Nacluv added. Marla, Keto and Bronc all laughed.

"We've got to stop them." Luna said.

"You think?!" Shining snapped.

"We have to get to that rocket and free our friends." Cadence said.

"Spike, Krysta, You two will hide while me, Cadence and Shining Armor distract the minions. Jewel, you try to free the others." Luna ordered. Everybody nodded. Luna stepped into the cavern.

"HEY!" she called.

Msrla and Keto looked, "What are you doing here?" Marla snarled.

"We're here to rescue of friends." Shining added, stepping forward.

"Well youll be too late. Lingos....Attack!" Lingos came out and attacked the friends. Jewel managed to sneak pass all of the fighting and made her way to her captured friends.

"Sunset, Lightning, Everyone!" She whispered.

"Jewel?!" Lightning said.

“What are you going here?!” Sunset asked.

"Don't worry. I'll get you out!" Jewel was about to untie them when...

“Oh no you don’t!” Nacluv came in and rammed her, sending her into into the wall.

"No! Jewel!" Mr.Grandruler cried.

Jewel slowly got back up onto her feet and saw, to her horror, that the Lingoes over powered Luna, Cadence and Shining Armor and tied them to the rocket as well!

Nacluv charged Jewel, but she dodged making him hit the wall. However, Keto blasted her with his staff, sending her to the ground.

"Ooh. Too bad you couldn't save your friends, huh? Now you'll never see them again." Bronc taunted. Jewel couldn't stand this at all! Her friends....the greatest friends she's ever had, who helped her when she needed it, were in trouble and she was powerless to help them.

"I....wont....give....up!" She yelled. She began to glow a light magenta color.

"What's happening to Jewel?" Susent asked.

Jewel glowed brighter and brighter, until it was too bright for anybody to see. The light dimmed and everybody saw that Jewel had transformed; her clothes turned into armor, a pink horn sprouted from her head and a pair and pink wings along with a tail sprouted from upper and lower back. Her ears turned into pony ears and her hair gained magenta, yellow and red highlight strips.

"I WILL SAVE MY FRIENDS! NO MATTER WHAT!" She yelled. Lingos charged Jewel and she blasted them all with a beam of magic turning them all into dust. Jewel dashed at the minions and knocked them all over, causing great damage. Jewel them went after Nacluv but realized he was gone! She turned around and saw that his minions were gone as well. Jewel changed back into her normal self.

"That...was...awesome Jewel!" Spike cried. He and Krysta hid in a hole in the ground and saw eveything.

"Incredible!" Krysta added.

"Ummmm. Hate to break this up, but we're about to be BLASTED INTO SPACE!" Lighting cried.

Jewel and the pets looked at the timer and gasped only five seconds were left! The timer reached zero and the rockets' engines started up and blasted through the caverns' roof and into outer space.

"JEWEL HELP!" The gang cried.

The pets and Jewel raced outside and saw the rocket zooming up though the sky. "We have to go after them!" Spike cried.

"How?" Jewel asked.

"Celesto's rocket." Krysta suggested.

"That's not fast enough to catch up with that rocket!" Spike added.

"So now what?" Jewel said desperately.

Jewel, Spike and Krysta saw no way to save their friends. Just then, Jewel saw something in the sand. Jewel walked towards it and picked it up. It was a circle stone with a symbol in the middle.

"A falcon symbol. What does that mean?" Spike asked.

The stone glowed and floated out of Jewel's hand and dashed off towards a mountain. The group followed it and saw it enter a tunnel. Still following it, the stone led them to a enormous, mechnical falcon. It's body was red and it's wings and tail feathers were also red with yellow shading. Also it had a yellow break.

"Woah! A Falcon Zord!" The stone went inside the zord, making it came to life; flapping its wings and sqwacking. The zord looked down at Jewel and the pets and lowered it head and opened it's mouth. Jewel and the pets walked inside. In the zord was a cockpit with a control panel, complete with handlebars and special buttons and weapons.

"Awesome!" Jewel conplimented. Jewel sat in the seat behind the handlebars and grabbed them. "Now....how do I drive this?" She asked.

"Figure that out later, we have to save our friends!" Spike said.

"But we don't know how far they are. They could be in space by now." Krysta added.

Just then, a video camera came down from the ceiling and stopped in front of Jewel. It came to life and started singing;

"Hello. I'm Flash, the camera. I can find your friends." Flash showed the friends an image, it was Lightning, Mr. Grandruler and all their friends soaring to outer space. "That's good, but we need to see how far they are from space. Flash can you help?" Jewel said.

"Yep."

Flash zoomed out and the images changed. Now it showed five layers of the atmosphere; the Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, and the Exosphere. The rocket was in the Thermosphere. "Oh no! They're almost to space. We have to catch them!" Krysta cried. Jewel grabbed the control and pushed them forward. The zord flapped it's massive wings and soared out of the mountain.

"WOOOOHOOOOO!" Jewel cried. Spike and Krysta grabbed onto Jewel's clothes, trying not to get thrown into the back wall. In minutes, the zord was in the Thermosphere. Jewel spotted the rocket.

"There they are!" She cried.

"Let's go!" Spike added.

"Right!"

Lightning and the gang were in extreme panic.

"What are we gonna do?" Fluttershy asked.

"There's nothing we can do." Buddy replied.

"If help doesn't come soon,
We will meet our doom!" Rhymey said.

"That's supportive." Rainbow grumbled.

It looked hopeless, until Mr. Grandruler spotted someting big and metal coming towards them. "What's that?" Everybody saw it and as it got closer they realized what it was and who the pilot was. "Is that a....falcon zord!?” Sunset asked.

“With Jewel.... driving!?” Celestia added. Jewel drove the zord over top of the rocket.

"Okay. Now to grab it." Jewel was about to grab it with the falcon's powerful talons when the rocket jerked to the right. Jewel tried again and it moved to the left. Then the rocket flew away from the Falcon Zord. "What's going on?" She asked, totally confused.

"I bet Nacluv is controlling it!" Spike said. Jewel steered the zord, following the rocket.

Meanwhile, back on earth, Keto was busy controlling the rocket with a remote contol. "Hehehehe. That weakling will never be able to catch my rocket." He declared.

"Hey! I bulit it!" Bronc declared, insulted.

"Oh suck it up!" Marla snapped. Bronc and Marla began getting in each other faces and began pushing each other.

Soon they knocked into Keto, making him drop the control on the ground. The remote broke into a million pieces. "Now look at what you've done!" Nacluv thundered.

Back in the sky, the rocket's engine began studdering,

"What's going on?" Rainbow asked. That's where the rockets gave out! "The engines must have died!" Grandruler cried.

"If the engines died that means we're gonna....!" Lightning started.

".......FREEFALL!" Everybody cried. The rocket began dropping like a rock. The people all over Mystic Island saw the rocket falling an were deeply afraid.

"WE ARE DOOMED!" Mr. Grandruler and Celestia screamed.

"Sqwack!"

Just then, they saw the falcon zord zooming towards them in a powerful dive. Jewel lined up with the rocket and extended the talons. The talons gripped the rocket and Jewel pulled up on the handlebars. The zord began pulling up, slowing down with the rocket. Soon, the zord and rocket gently floated down to the ground. The cillvilians all rejoiced and went to untie the gang. Jewel landed the zord and it lowered its head. Jewel and the pets climbed out of the zord and raced towards their friends.

"Lightning! Guys! Are you all okay?! Krysta asked.

"Yeah, We're okay. Thanks to you guys." Grandruler replied.

"Actually, you should thank Jewel. She's the one who really saved you guys." Spike said.

"Oh. I didn't do that much." Jewel replied. The gang was shocked.

"'Not much?', Jewel you save our lives! Without you, we would have been goners." Sunset replied. Jewel blushed in embrassment. The civilians all cheered and rejoiced for Jewel. Sunset and Lightining lifted Jewel up onto their shoulders and walked into the crowd, where Jewel was cheered for, because of her heroic rescue.

That night, a party was held at the Mr. Grandruler's mansion in honor of Jewel. Everybody was dancing and having all kinds of fun. The rangers all gathered around and listened to Grandruler's speech.

"Jewel, today you've shown great bravery in the face of danger. Even when you were against all odds, you never gave up and succeeded in rescuing us from certain doom. We are ever so grateful to you." Her friends all cheer and clapped for Jewel, making her embarrassed again. "And now, we have a gift for you."

Principal Celestia came in front of Jewel with a red box with a pink morpher, like her friends, and a silvery bracelet in it, inside was the falcon stone she discovered earlier. Along with an morpher just like her friends.

"Jewel, on behalf of all of us, you are offically power ranger!" Grandruler concluded.

Jewel gasped softly, "R-Really?!"

"Really." Grandruler approved.

"Thank you. This is the best day ever!" Jewel exclaimed. Jewel took the bracelet out of the box and placed it on her left wrist and she placed the morpher on her shirt. They both shined in the moonlight. Sunset and the rest of her friends were proud of their new teammate.

Episode 4: Getting Approved

Its been a week since Jewel was made a power ranger, just like her friends. They all showed her their base and they showed her how to activate her morpher.

Right now, Jewel was in the training simulator. The simulator was set to 'easy' since it was Jewel's first time. A pack of Lingos came in and charged at Jewel. She punched and kicked, making them vaporizing. After about two hours, Jewel came out. She was sweating a little and was breathing heavy.

Lightning gave Jewel a towel and Sunset gave her some water.

"That was awesome Jewel!" Rainbow exclaimed, "You trashed all of them."

Celesto came in with a pleased expression on his face. "Well done, Jewel. Very well done." He said.

"Thank you." Jewel replied.

"So does this mean Jewel can fight alongside us?" Buddy asked.

"Sorry but Jewel isn't ready for fighting yet." Celesto replied. The rangers were confused.

"'Not ready?' But she saved you guys from certain danger, which is basically what you guys do." Spike said. “Yeah and she unlocked a zord as well.” Krysta added.

"That's true, however, Jewel is not as experienced as you six are in battle. Her physical strength and speed are not as high as yours either."

“Training can fix that in a snap.” Rainbow replied.

“True, but until then, Jewel is forbidden from entering battles.” Celesto stated.

"But-" The rangers started but Celesto cut them off sternly,

"No buts.”

Celesto turned around and went into the lab, leaving the rangers, Spike and Krysta with Jewel. "This is so unfair, Jewel should be approved to fight!" Krysta said.

"I agree. She's proved that she's capable of saving people and fighting." Spike added.

"But, Jewel hasn't been in real battle like us. And she doesn’t know Nacluv's minions like we do." Sunset added, “She’s right. For now it’s toobdangerous for Jewel to enter a battle with us yet.” Lightning added.

Jewel sigh sadly and Sunset put a hand on her shoulder. “Don’t worry Jewel, you’ll get approved before you know it.” Sunset reassured.

Jewel felt a little better but was still a little sad. She just had to get the experience to be able to fight alongside her friends.

Meanwhile, at Vulcan’s tower…

Marla was walking down the round walkways, assisting herself in her compact mirror. "Who's the one with glorious hair. Me!" She said. Keto came walking by and purposely patted his clothes, making the dust go onto Marla.

"Hey!" She screamed.

"Stop looking at yourself in the mirror all day and come up with a plan to destroy the rangers!" sneered Keto. Keto walked off, leaving Marla in a huff. She looked back into her compact mirror and gazed at her beautiful face “It’s so hard to be ravishing in a world of ugly creatures.”

More creatures overhearing felt very offended and Marla then heard one of them speak out from a cell behind her, “Beauty isn’t the only thing you know…!”

Marla felt so shocked, not just by that outburst, that she nearly dropped her mirror. “That voice! Oh, no… it can’t be!” she turned and looked in the cell behind her, and inside was a female humanoid, devil-like creature with red skin, and white horns on her head. She even had a devil’s tail.

“Devila!” sneered Marla.

“It’s been a while hasn’t it, old friend!” Devila hissed.

"Oh, please!" Marla snarled.

Marla recalled how she and Devila were once the greatest notorious of intergalactic jewel heisters in the entire Dimensional Galaxy from their world.

With Marla’s incredible charm, that could stun just about anyone, and with Devila’s cunning… as well as a super special trick she could perform… they robbed whole star-systems of their precious jewels, ores and refinery materials.

…But then, one day, while during a heist in trying to take a set of crown jewels being donated to a museum on a planet. Things went horribly wrong, Marla and Devila were about to capture the crown jewels, when Marla realized she had horrible split ends in her hair, and a hangnail, which made her scream out in shock… giving both crooks away and alerted the guards.

It also turned out that the crown jewels they tried to steal belonged to Grand Ruler Celesto, the commander-in-chief of Starfleet, and ruler of the planet Unicornicopia, whom was donating his crown jewels for a charity cause.

The ladies were caught and arrested, and from that moment on they become such bickering ninnies, that the guards threw them in separate cells in the tower.

“Why Vulcan lets an overbearing diva like you serve him directly, I’ll never know.” Marla was losing her temper and protested, “At least I’m not trapped in a cell anymore!”

The bickering was getting so annoying, many of the prisoners hid under their mattresses to drown out the sound.

“QUIET!!!” Nacluv shouted as he appeared before the bickering ladies.

The ladies trembled before him and his look of fury and annoyance, and he unlocked Devila’s cell, turning her loose. “Since you both claimed to be old accomplishes, you can both get out there and find a way to crush those rangers.”

“WHAT?!” the ladies whined, not looking forward to the idea of working with each other again, but Nacluv flared up and thundered “…GET GOING!!”

The ladies freaked out and left the tower in the blink of an eye.

Bronc saw the whole thing, “Very well done sir.”

Nacluv snuffed “At least it stops them nagging. Now they’re the rangers’ problem.”

The bickering ladies appeared on Mystic Island, deep within the city, but remained in disguise.

Devila stretched out and took in a huge breath, “Ah, it feels so good to be free again.”

Marla was still being sulky. “Glad you’re enjoying yourself, but just what are we supposed to do now?”

“Hmmm. I have a plan and it involves my little trick.” Devila stated. She demonstrated her little trick and Marla snickered.

“Those rangers will never know what hit them.”

Jewel was walking through Mystic Island, in the city, unknown by her Marla and Devila were hiding in the shadows. Knowing that Jewel wasn't allowed to fight, the rangers were one short, giving them the perfect opportunity to strike.

"Those rangers won't even know what hit them."

Walking down the street, Jewel began thinking to herself, "When will I get approved to fight with my friends. Even though I don't fight that often, I can still do battle. Maybe, I should just-. Her thoughts were interrupted by people screaming. Jewel raced over to the scene, near the First National Bank.

Before long the people in the crowd began to holler…

“The Power Rangers…!”

“They’re here!”

The rangers leapt onto the roof, “Good luck guys.” Jewel thought.

It was quite brawl as the rangers fought their way through the swarm of Lingos. Then they stood to face Devila, and though she didn’t seem like it, she was rather strong and swift, which she demonstrated by blocking their every attack, and hitting them back with strong punches and kicks. She even head butt them hard in the chests with her horns, and swatted them with her long devil’s tail.

…even knocking Sunset’s scepter out of her hand, sending flying far, far off the roof and way down into the streets. “No!!” she cried.

The scepter soared far, landing far up the street right near Jewel. She grabbed it and looked back up and saw to her horror, the rangers were bounded in Marla's long, pink hair and Sunset was bounded in Devila's devil tail. The two were bashing the rangers into each other, making sparks fly.

"Okay.... that really hurt." Rainbow groaned.

"Hehe, time to destroy the rangers for good." Marla hissed.

Jewel and the people were horrified. Jewel know she had to do something but she wasn’t approved to do battle. But her friends need her. "Approved or not!.

Jewel looked back up at her friends in trouble.

"But my friends needs me and I've got to help them." With that, Jewel dashed into the bank and entered the elevator.

Celesto, Twilight and Spike saw everything on the monitors, “They’re getting their cans kicked!” cried Spike, “We’ve got to help them!”

Twilight couldn’t think of anything, “Able-Boost won’t work while their bound. I don’t know what to do!” She cried.

“Oh,” Celesto groaned while holding his head, “this is so not good.” Twilight and Spike whimpered and looked back at the trashing.

The rangers were getting really beat up. Marla and Devila were laughing,

"Oh. This is too rich!" Marla said.

"Enough of this, let's destroy these pests for good!" Devila exclaimed. The rangers groaned and grunted, still unable to free themselves.

"Let my friends go!" A voice shouted.

The rangers, Marla and Devila turned around and saw Jewel in a battle stance with the Star Scepter in her hand.

"Jewel!" cried Sunset.

"What are you doing here?" Lightning asked.

Marla and Devila looked at each other and burst into laughter. "Look at who's trying to be a hero." Marla taunted. Devila's eyes glowed red. "You've made a big mistake. We'll give you one last chance, leave or else it'll get ugly." Jewel was starting to sweat nervously, "No! I'll give you one last chance! Let....them....go." Jewel threatened.

"Jewel! Get out of here!" Lightning cried.

"You can't save us! Just go!" Rainbow added.

At the base, Celesto, Twilight, Krysta and Spike were all shocked and concerned. "What is Jewel thinking?!" Twilight cried.

"And shes not supposed to be fighting. She's still unapproved." Celesto added.

"Now, Now, you two, let's see what Jewel can do." Krysta said.

"Who knows, she might have a plan." Spike added.

They all hoped that Jewel did have a plan.

Jewel was staring down Marla and Devila, waiting for one of them to make a move. "We gave you a chance, now you'll regret it." Devila snarled.

Marla and Devila launched themselves at Jewel, but at the last second, Jewel quickly turned around and flipped over them and slashed them with the scepter.

Everybody was shocked!

Marla and Devila charged at Jewel again, but she swiftly dodged and kicked the two. "Let my friends go, now!" Jewel demanded. "No! And if you take one more step." Marla added. Marla and Devila placed the rangers above the crowd below, if they let go the rangers will fall to their deaths!

"*Gasp* No!" Jewel cried. Something inside her snapped! Jewel started to glow again and this time and light pink mist covered her entire body.

"What's happening to Jewel?" Spike asked.

"I don't know." Twilight replied.

When the mist disappeared, the scepter was on the ground and Jewel changed completely: her arms turned into wings, she had grew a beak and her feet had changed into talons and she gained tail feathers. Jewel had turned into a falcon!

"What." Lightning stated.

"The." Buddy added.

"Heck?" Sunset asked.

Jewek sqwaked and took to the sky. She dived and slashed Marla’s hair and Devila’s tail, freeing the rangers out of the bondage. The rangers began to fall to the ground much to the crowds horror, but Jewel swooped in and let them land on her back. In the process, Jewel split Marla's hair and scratched Devila's tail.

"She did it! She freed the rangers!" Twilight cried.

"MY HAIR! That little pest ruined my hair!" Marla cried.

"Your hair?! What about my tail? I'll be sore in the morning and it's all your fault!" Devila whined.

"My fault?!" Marla replied.

"Yea. It's always your fault, just like on our heist."

The two ladies bickered until Sunset coughed to get their attention. Now the rangers were in front of them with Jewel sqwaking fiercely at them. Knowing they had no chance now, the ladies retreated.

"We'll get you next time rangers!" Marla declared.

"Yea. Next time!" Devila added.

With that, the ladies vanished. The people in the crowd cheered loudly. The city was safe once again. Jewel felt good she actually fought and saved the day.

Jewel flew off and landed near the park and changed back into her normal self, but she was exhausted! She almost fell down, but Lightning caught her.

“Did.... we..... win?” She asked, breathing heavily.

"Easy Jewel, let's get you back to the base." he said. Jewel nodded before she fell asleep in his arms.

Back at the base, Jewel began to wake up and saw all her friends by her bedside.

“Hey sleepyhead.” Sunset greeted.

Jewel sat up in bed and heard,

"Hail the conquering hero!" Spike sang. He and Krysta acted like a parade, throwing confetti and jumping up and down happily.

Jewel and the rangers giggled.

“That was amazing, Jewel!” Rainbow exclaimed.

“Turning into a real falcon! Incerdible!” Lightning added.

"Ahem." Jewel and the rangers turned around and saw Celesto, he had a mad experssion on his face.

"*Gulp* I'm in big trouble, aren't I?" Jewel asked, slowly.

Celesto sighed, "No actually, I'm impressed with you Jewel."

"You are?" Jewel asked.

"You are?" The rangers repeated.

"Yes. Today, Jewel has proved that she has what it takes to fight alongside you rangers."

"Does this mean?" Lightning asked. Celesto nodded. Jewel cheered happily. Now she is able to fight with her friends in battle.

Episode 5: A Musical/Magical Talent

It was Tuesday evening in Mystic Island and the rangers were at Grandruler's manor having a nice dinner.

"Hey Sunset, What are you going to do on the talent show on Thursday?" Lightning asked.

"Hmmm, I don't know." Sunset replied.

"Well, I'm gonna play my awesome guitar skills." Rainbow boastered. The rangers rolled their eyes at Rainbow's bragging.

"Jewel, what are you gonna do?" Rainbow asked. Jewel looked up from her plate, "Ummm. I.....don't think I'll enter." she replied.

The friends gasped in shock and confusion, "Not enter, why not Jewel?" Buddy asked.

"I don't have a talent to show." Jewel replied.

"That can't be true! Jewel, everybody has a talent." Lightning reassured.

"Everyone, except me." Jewel got up from her seat and exited the dining room. The rangers were all feeling bad for Jewel. "Poor Jewel." Buddy said.

"She doesn't think she has a talent to show,
but she must be good at something though." Rhymey added.

"Yea, she's good with animals. Maybe she could use that in the talent show." Rainbow suggested.

"She can't, Fluttershy is already good with animals. If Jewel does that, it won't be that good or entrtaining." Lightning objected.

"If she can't show her animal talent, then what can she do?" Sunset wondered.

Marla, Bronc and Keto were walking down the hallway of the Prison tower looking at all of the creatures inside.

"Too ugly."

"Too bulky."

"Ugh, Too lame."

"None of these monsters are useful!" Keto cried.

"They couldn't even beat the rangers' grandmothers." Bronc added.

"ENOUGH!" Nacluv yelled, gaining the minions attention. "I've found a monster that's sure to crush those pesky rangers." He opened the cell and a monster came out.

The creature resembled a large music book with a music note for a head. It's special ability was makint loud, irritating music that would render its victims powerless. It's name was Singer.

"I'm at your service, Master Nacluv." Singer said.

"Good. Now make those rangers pay for all the trouble they've caused me!" Nacluv ordered. "You've got it." Singer replied and teleported away.

The next morning, Jewel and Sunset were in history class, their last class of the day. Lightning passed out a test to everybody and by the end of the class, everybody was done. "Pass your tests to the front please." Lightning called.

After the school bell rung, Jewel was walking by herself when Nikki and the Jazzies came up to her. "Hey Jewel, word is, that you're not participating in the talent show. Too bad, a nobody like you could never outshine me at anything." Nikki taunted.

Amber and Dionne laughed at her. Jewel tried her hardest not to cry, even with tears forming in her eye.

"HEY!" The girls turned and saw Sunset and the rest of her friends walking behind Jewel. "You leave Jewel alone." Sunset said.

"And just so you know Jewel is entering the talent show and she will win!" Buddy said.

Nikki scoffed and walked off with Amber and Dinnoe following. Jewel turned to her friends, "Guys, I don't have a talent. How can I participate in the talent show?" Jewel asked.

"Jewel, you have a talent. You've just haven't found it yet." Sunset replied.

"Yeah. One day you'll find your talent." Rainbow added. Jewel smilied. Suddenly, the rangers coms began beeping.

"Rangers there's a monster terrorizing downtown. Check it out!" Celesto said.

"Let's go!" Lightning said. The rangers dashed off to downtown and sported the monster. "Hey!" Sunset yelled.

"Ah. Looks like I've found an audience." Singer said. "And now for my owning act...Lingos attack!" Singer made Lingos appear and they charged the rangers. Jewel hid behind a street post and watched

"STARFLEET MAGIC....POWER ON!!!"

"Comsic Comet....Power On!!!"

The rangers charged through the Lingos and attacked Singer. Singer blocked every attack they threw and blasted them.

"Time to sing." Singer declared.

Singer blasted out sound waves and the rangers stopped and dropped to the floor in pain.

"Ahhh! My ears!" Lightining cried.

"This....is...torture!" Rainbow added.

Singer laughed and blasted near the rangers sending them flying. Jewel gasped in horror. "Time to end you rangers!" Singer charged at them, but Jewel quickly changed into her falcon form, grabbed the rangers and flew off with them.

"No! Well they'll be back." Singer said.

Back at the base, the rangers were resting their eardums. "Man, his music is awful!" Lightning declared.

"It's like nails on a chalkboard." Buddy added.

"How are we gonna beat him?" Sunset asked. Twilight came in with a scanned of the monster. "Guys. I found that the only weakness this monster has in smooth, gentle music."

"So, we have to sing something smooth and gentle to render his attack powerless!" Rainbow concluded.

"Only one problem....if you guys are fighting, who's going to be singing?" Spike asked. The rangers realized he was right. They can't sing and fight at the same time.

"Then what do we do?" Fluttershy asked. The rangers thought hard until Spike's ears perked up. "Spike what is it?" Krysta asked.

"I heard some....singing." Spike replied.

"Singing?!" The rangers repeated. Following Spike, the rangers traced the singing to the lab. The lab workers were absent. Inside they found an unlikely and amazing sight....

.....It was Jewel singing a beautiful song:

Jewel heard clapping behind and quickly turned around and found her friends and Celesto looking at her. She immediately blushed with embarrassment.

"H-How long have you all been standing there?" Jewel asked.

"Oh, just long enough to hear what am amazing voice you have." Krysta complimented.

"Where did you learn that?" Lightning asked.

"My mom used to sing it to me as a lullaby." Jewel replied.

"Well you've got a voice is smooth and gentle." Spike said. Suddenly Twilight said, THAT'S IT!"

"what's it?" Sunset asked.

"You all just said that Jewel has a smooth and gentle voice." Twilight started.

"Yea...what about it?" Rainbow asked.

Twilight sighed irritably, "If Jewel sings while you guys are battling them, the monsters attack with powerless. Remember, it's only weakness is a-"

"Smooth and Gentle voice!" The rangers finished. Everybody was on board with the plan, expect for Jewel.

"M-Me! Sing! Oh....I don't know." she said. Sunset could tell that Jewel was letting her fear take hold. "Jewel, you can do, you just have to close your eyes and sing." she added.

"That's it?" Jewel asked and Sunset nodded.

"Okay. I'll do it!" Jewel replied. The rangers cheered for joy. Now thethey had a new plan to take down Singer.

Singer was still waiting around for the rangers to show up again.

"Ugh! What's taking them so long?" he asked.

"HEY!" a voice shouted. Singer turned and saw all the rangers running towards him fully-morphed.

"Ah, finally! Now, let's finish what w started." Singer said.

"Bring it!" Sunset countered. The rangers all charged Singer. Rhymey tired slashing him with his sword, but Singer blocked every attempt.

Buddy tried his whip, but Singer grabbed it and pulled Buddy towards him and punched Buddy, sending him flying back.

Sunset tried her scepter, but Singer blockes that attack as well. Sunset regrouped with the others.

"This guy's tough." Sunset groaned.

"Now, let's add some music to this show." Singer activated his soundwaves and once again, the rangers fell to the ground in pain. Nacluv, and his minions were watching via the monitors. "Finally, we'll get rid of the rangers for good!" Marla cried.

Singer approached the rangers, preparing for the final move. "Time to end you rangers." he said.

Suddenly,

"Hush little one and say good night,
Dream of two hearts side by side~"

"Huh, what is that horrible sound?" Singer asked. Singer turned and saw Jewel walking towrds her friends while singing. Her voice began to corrput his soundwaves, freeing the rangers.

"No! You ruined my plan!" Singer cried.

"Hush little one and say good night,
Two stars shine as one tonight,
So make a wish and close your eyes,
And may your wish come true tonight~" Jewel continued.

Singer tried to attack Jewel, but the rangers blasted him with their weapons, "This isn't sounding good at all!" Singer said.

"Bring them together!" Sunseta called.

“Weapons Combine…!”

“Star Slammer… Ready!”

Singer whimpered.

“STAR SLAMMER, ULTRA-STRIKE!” The blast hit Singer and he went up in a huge explosion. The rangers all rejoiced.

"Keto!" Nacluv called.

"On it! FORTISSIMO!!” Keto launched his magical Mugic out and off to Singer's aid…

.....Singer turned into a giant! "Time for an encore!" he thundered. The rangers all gawked. Sunset contacted the base, “Launch Star Jets!”

“Summon Zords!”

As the base, the jets were already well prepped up and launched at once through the tunnel.

The jets arrived near the beach in almost no time, and the rangers beamed into their cockpits. “Okay, let's end this creep's music career!” said Sunset.

“Zords Combine!”

“Comet Striker, Armor up!” Lightning shouted as he grew big and his armor encased him.

“Jet-Star Megazord… Ready!”

“Comet Striker… Ready!”

Once the megazords was fully mobilized, it was time to brawl. Singer charged at the rangers and the megazord tried slashing him but Singer blocked the attack and bashed the megazord. Lightning tried attacking from behind but Singer turned around and dodged him then kicked him, sending him rolling across the ground. Singer then punched the megazord again, rocking the rangers inside.

"This isn't working!" Sunset cried.

Lightning help the megazord to it's feet. "Keep trying!" Lightning replied. All the while, Jewel was watching helplessly from the ground.

"I've got to help them somehow." She told to herself.

That's when the bracelet around her wrist began to glow. Jewel looked at it and a new zord stone appeared next to the falcon stone with a different symbol, "A Wolf symbol?!" The stone floated out of the bracelet and floated towards the forest near the city.

Jewel followed and ended up in a wide valley. The stone went into the ground and the ground began to rumble.

Suddenly, the wolf zord popped out of the ground; its body was light green with a white paws and a white-tip tail. The wolf zord howled and Jewel's eyes narrowed in determination.

Lightning and the megazord were looking really beat up. Now they were laying on the ground to damaged and exhausted to fight back.

"What are we gonna do?" cried Fluttershy.

Singer snickered wickedly, "Time to end your careers, rangers." Singer rushed towards the megazords, ready for the kill.

"Watch out!" Rainbow cried.

Suddenly, a green blur bashed into Singer, knocking him away from the rangers. The rangers and Lightning looked and saw a wolf zord and Jewel in the cockpit.

"Leave my friends alone!" she yelled. Singer got back onto his feet, furious!

"Your little dog's got nothing on me!" he sneered. Stingar charged the wolf zord, but the wolf zord howled and leaped high into the sky,

"SWIFT!!!" Jewel called.

The wolf zord spun around and stars came out of it's tail and hit Singar, exploding on impact. Wolf zord growled at Stingar,

"HOWL PULSE!!!"

Wolf zord howled and a stream of rings came out of it's mouth, damaging Singer even more.

"Alright Jewel!" Lightning cried.

Jewel guided Wolf Zord over to her friends, "What is she doing?" Sunset asked.

"NATURE'S BLESSING!!!"

Wolf zord reared up and leaves swirled around it. Its fired a ball of leaves of its mouth and the leaves twirled around the two megazords, restoring them to full health!

"Uh oh!" Singer whimpered, seeing the megazords back on their feet. Wolf zord snarled and rushed at Singer, it leaped up and bit him with it's powerful, sharp teeth. Singer struggled to free himself, but it was in vain. Jewel was getting rocked inside with all the shaking and turning.

"Finish him you guys! Hurry!" she called.

“Tractor-beams, capture-mode, ready!”

“Tractor-beam Engage!”

“FIRE!!”

The megazord launched their beams at the weakened monster, at the last second Jewel realeased her hold on Singer and leaped out of the way. It beam blasted him hard and actually shrinking him down. Singer was imprisoned and beamed into Sunset’s cockpit. “Monster Captured! Mission Complete!”

The rangers cheered.

Back at the base, Jewel spoke to the gang.

“Guys, I think I’m gonna Exeter the talent show.”

“Really?” Rainbow said.

Jewel nodded.

Everybody was thrilled about her decision to enter the talent show.

That Thursday night, the talent show was in full swing! Lightning was in audience along with Celesto, Celestia and their babies.

As planned, Rainbow played her guitar, Buddy painted one marvelous painting and Rhymey and Fluttershy both did a small tap dance.

It was Nikki's turn now. She was wearing high heel shoes with a blue dress with sparkles and had a necklace around her neck.

Nikki sang a song about....well....herself.

The crowd clapped for her and she went backstage where Jewel was; she was wearing a white dress with pink and purple striped on it. "Beat that." Nikki taunted.

Jewel gulped.

"And now for our final performance give it up for Jewel!" Twilight announced. Jewel came out on stage and made an announcement. "This is a song that I want to dedicate to my friends, who always believed in me." The crowd was touched by the speech and Jewel began singing;

The crowd stood up and roared with applause, the rangers even shed some tears.

All the competitors stood on stage, "And now the winner of the Canterlot High Talent Show is...... JEWEL!" Twilight announced.

The crowd burst into applause and Jewel was shocked that she won. Twilight came in front of Jewel with a trophy reading "First place winner!"

The other ranger came on stage and hugged Jewel.

Nikki on the other hand wss far from happy, "What how could she have beaten me?" she asked.

"Well it could be that I'm not a self-absorbed diva..... like you." Jewel replied.

Nikki gasped and nearly felt like fainting, and she did, right into Amber and Dionne’s arms.

“Oh, you are so going to rue the day you said that to us!” growled Amber.

“Totally.” added Dionne, and then she and Amber dragged their miserable leader away, much to the gang’s humor, and they shared a good laugh.

Episode 6: A New Water Friend

One day the rangers were battling a shark-like monster with sharp fins for hands and his power was creating strong currents of water and water spouts that he launches at his opponents. His name was Aqua.

Lightning punched him and the Sunset fired her star scepter at the monster.

"Time to water-logged you rangers!" Aqua sneered.

He formed a huge water spout and launched it at the rangers. "Watch out!" Rainbow cried.

"NO! GUYS!"

At the last second, Jewel came in and pushed all her friends out of the way, but she couldn't save herself. The water spout consumed Jewel and lifted her off the ground, spinning her head over heels.

"OH NO!" Lightning cried.

"JEWEL!" Sunset added.

Aqua guided the water spout out into open ocean, where it vanished from sight!

"One ranger down, five more to go!" Aqua said.

The rangers felt their blood boil in anger, "Bring them together!" Sunset ordered.

“Weapons combine!”

“Star Slammer… Ready!”

“Yeah! Let's get him.” Lightning said.

“Comet Gauntlets, Engage!”

“Comet Trail… Fire!” He charged up the Star-Slammer, and the others aimed it at the monster. “STAR-SLAMMER… ULTRA-STRIKE!!”

The monster cried in pain as the attack but him, "I'M SOAKED!!" Aqua blew up in a big explosion. The rangers all rejoiced, but they suddenly remebered something,

"JEWEL!!" Lightning cried.

Jewel was still trapped in the water spout, "WOAH!! SOMEBODY STOP THIS CRAZY RIDE!!"

The water spout took Jewel far out to sea where it dimished in size until it was completely gone. Jewel screamed as she fell into the ocean. Jewel resurfaced, de-morphed and caught her breath.

Her stomach was gurgling sickly and she felt light-headed. "Ngggh.... this is a whole new level of seasickness." She groaned.

Jewel looked around and just saw water all around her, no land in sight, not even Mystic Island!

"*Gulp* Where am I?" She asked herself. She tried to contact the others with her morpher but it was badly water logged. Seeing she was in a desperate situation, Jewel only saw one option, "Looks like I'll have to swim to find land, where ever 'land' is."

With that, Jewel began swimming south, in the hopes of finding Mystic Island.

Back at the base, Twilight was working harder than ever to track down Jewel.

"Find her signal yet, Twilight?" Lightning asked.

Twilight sighed irritably, "It's no use! Her morpher must be too wet for me to get a clear signal."

Lightning sighed, "This is all our fault, Jewel pushed us out of the way of that water spout. We should've done the same."

Celesto came and put a hand on Lightning's shoulder, "It's nobody's fault, Lightning." He said.

"I hope she's okay." Fluttershy said, worried.

"We all do." Sunset added.

"This is so much to bare,
But that water spout could've taken Jewel anywhere." Rhymey added.

"We've gotta find her!" Buddy said.

"Right! You rangers take the star jets out and see if you can spot Jewel in the ocean." Celesto ordered.

The rangers nodded and were soon in their star jets flying iver the ocean, with Lightning sitting in the backseat of Sunset's star jet.

"Where are you Jewel?" Sunset thought.

Meanwhile, Jewel was still swimming, but she stop because she was too exhausted.

"*Pant, Pant* Well at least things can't get any worse." Jewel said to herself.

Suddenly, she felt herself moving sideways, and going faster and faster. Jewel looked and gasped in horror, she was caught in a whirlpool!

"I had to ask." Jewel muttered.

The whirlpool Jewel deep into the ocean, she managed to take a big gulp of air before she was completely sumerged and slowly lost consciousness.

Jewel suddenly opened her eyes and found her head was inside an air bubble. She touched it, feeling it was solid. Looking around, Jewel couldn't see the front of her hand in the darkness.

"H-Hello, can somebody help me." She called.

Just then, a small yellow ball of light came into get view,

"How do I know I can trust you?" It asked.

"Please, I just wanna get back home to my friends, the power rangers." Jewel replied.

"The rangers?!" The ball suddenly turned into a dolphin with blue tips at the end of her fins and a red flower on her dorsal fin.

"I'm so glad I saved you. I'm totally taking you to my mom." The dolphin took her hands and guided Jewel to her home; a large coral reef in the form of a city, sponge-like buildings and coral-like homes. Other dolphins soon came out and were acting hesitant.

Jewel was lead into another room where another dolphin was. This one was white with purple tips at the end of her fins and dorsal fin, and tail. She wore a crown made out of shells.

"Mother! Mother! Look what I found." The dolphin cried, happily.

"Princess Seastar, if this is another shell, I'm not interest-." The royal dolphin gasped when she saw Jewel.

"Princess Seastar, you know land-dewellers are forbidden here. GUARDS!"

Four dolphin guards surrounded Jewel with their spears pointing at her. Jewel gulped nervously.

"No, no, no! Mom please, she's not a threat! She one of the power rangers, you know those people who fight to save the world." Seastar said.

"I don't mean to cause any trouble, I just wanna get home." Jewel said.

The royal dolphin stared daggers at Jewel and ordered her guards to back off. With that, she approached Jewel. Jewel gulped nervously as the dolphin came closer. When the dolphin stopped in front of Jewel, she spoke,

"You don't seem like a threat, ranger, but listen here, I'm Queen Novo, Queen of Reefquestria and as queen, if you make one mistake, you will be banished! Understand?"

Jewel nodded nervously.

"Good."

Queen Novo returned to get throne. Princess Seastar swam up to Jewel, happily. "Yeah! Now you can stay and I can show you all the amazing things we can do!" She said.

Jewel thought for a moment, "Well I guess I could stay here for a little longer and show her some fun."

"Okay, but remember I can't stay here forever, I have family and friends." Jewel said. Seastar's expression changed at sad.

"Oh. Right."

"But hey! You know what?" Jewek asked.

"What?" Seastar asked.

After the song all the dolphins cheered and Queen Novo even laughed.

"Hoo-Wee! I haven't had that much fun in ages, I guess you're not that bad Jewel." She did.

"Thanks. I'll come back when I need that one small thing from you. Now I have to get back to my friends, they must be worried sick." Before Jewel left, Princess Seastar gave Jewel a necklace she made out of seashells.

Seastar and Jewel hugged each other. Jewel then, swarm up top the surface.

At the prison tower, Nacluv was watching Jewel through the monitors, snickering wickedly, he called his minions.

"Yes sir?" Marla asked.

"I want to you go and destroy the Animal Ranger once and for all!" Nacluv ordered, showing them the picture of Jewel.

"Ummm... beg your pardon sir, but how?" Keto asked.

"I can help." The monster turned and saw a monster with a storm cloud as a head and lightning bolts as arms with light clouds as legs. His name was Thunder.

"I'll create a storm so strong, it'll drown that pesky ranger." Nacluv and his minions smiled evily.

Meanwhile, Jewel broke the surface and swam for about a mile before she saw Mystic Island in the distance.

"Phew, I'm almost home!" Jewel said to herself.

"Don't be so sure." a voice said.

Jewel gasped and turned around, she saw Marla, Keto, Bronc and a new monster floating behind her!

"Time to make it rain." Thunder exclaimed.

He used his powers to make large, storm clouds surround Jewel. Rain poured down and the wind rocked the ocean, creating massive waves.

Jewel was soon struggling to stay afloat, "WOOOOAH!!!! YAAAAAHHH!!! SOMEBODY HEEEEELLP!!"

"HAHAHAHA! Finally, we'll get rid of this pest for good!"

Suddenly, all of the monsters were blasted. The blast caused the monsters power to stop, calling the water and Jewel was floating in the water once again.

"What?"

"Huh?"

Jewel looked up and saw the star jets heading their way!

"Guys!" She cried.

"Hang in there, Jewel, we'll get you!" Sunset called from the cockpit.

"Jewel! Are you okay?" Lightning asked.

"I'm good. Just a little wet." Jewel replied.

"Argh! You rangers always ruin our plans!" Keto exclaimed, "FORTISSIMO" Thunder grew large.

“They just can’t take a hint.” said Lightning, and he activated his morpher, “GIGANTIFY!”

“Giant Mode… Engage!”

Lightning jumped out of the star jet and grew giant as well.

“Just what we were thinking.” agreed Sunset. “Ultra-Star Megazord… go!”

“Summoning armor!” shouted Lightning, and his Comet Striker armor appeared.

“Zords Combine!”

With that, the armor combined with the megazord!

“Ultra-Star Megazord… Ready!”

The megazord charged Thunder but he used his lightning powers on the megazord. His lightning bolts short curcited the controls.

"The controls are fried!" Rainbow cried.

Lightning charged Thunder but he used his cloud power to create a big mist of clouds around the megazords.

"Where'd he go?" Sunset asked.

Thunder suddenly came in and rammed the megazords many times, dealing great damage. The two megazords fell to the ground!

Jewel watched everything from the water.

I've help them. But my morpher's soaked! What am I gonna do?" she thought.

Then her animal zord bracelet glowed light blue and appeared another stone with a dolphin symbol in the center.

"A dolphin?!"

The stone floated out of the bracelet and into the ocean. Within minutes, a light blue dolphin zord burst out of the water. Jewel smiled in determination.

The megazords were really beat up and Thunder was getting ready for the final attack.

"We're almost out of power!" Sunset cried.

"Look out!" Lightning added. Thunder came charging, but he was stopped when a blast came from the air. Everybody looked and saw the dolphin zord, gliding through the sky with Jewel in the cockpit.

"HYDRO PUMP!!"

A powerful stream of water shot out of the zord's mouth and hit Thunder, causing him to short circuit.

"That fish is no match for me! LIGHTNING STRIKE!"

Thunder sent a wave of electricity at dolphin zord, but swerved and dodged. Dolphin zord charged Thunder and rammed him.

"WAVE TAIL!"

Dolphin zord sent out a wave of water and each dealt Thunder extreme damage.

"NOW GUYS!" Jewel cried.

“Tractor-beams, capture-mode, ready!”

“Tractor-beam Engage!”

“FIRE!!”

The megazords launched their beams at the weakened monster, blasting him hard and actually shrinking him down. He was imprisoned and beamed into Sunset’s cockpit. “Monster Captured! Mission Complete!”

The rangers cheered and Jewel landed dolphin zord in the water, where it squeaked in joy.

Back at the base, Jewel was wrapped in a nice, warm blanket. Twilight gave her a mug of hot chocolate in her hands.

"Thanks Twilight."

"Are you sure you're okay, Jewel?" Lightning asked.

Jewel chuckled, "Lightning, I'm fine. I promise."

"I'm glad you're okay, Jewel." Celesto added.

"We're all glad." Sunset said, "cause now we can scold you on your stupid action!"

Jewel smiled nervously, "What were you thinking Jewel? You could have be killed?!" Sunset asked.

"I just wanted to protect my friends." Jewel replied. Sunset calmed down and sighed, "Well next time, just be more careful, okay?" Sunset asked.

"I will." Jewel said. Everybody smilied at their teammate.

Episode 7: Jewel's New Pet

On a cold night, everybody in Mystic Island was asleep. Meanwhile, in the forest near Canterlot High, a simmering portal opened up and out popped out of the portal. The portal closed, leaving the oval-shape object behind.

The next Friday afternoon, Jewel was hanging out with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash with their pets, Angel Bunny and Tank the tortoise. Fluttershy was petting Angel while Rainbow Dash was gazing at the sky with Tank.

"Hey Jewel, where's your pet?" Rainbow asked, suddenly.

"Oh..... I don't have a pet." replied Jewel.

"Why not?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, I've tried to find one at the animal shelter but none of them had that 'connection' with me." Jewel explained.

Flashback

Jewel entered the animal shelter wjth Fluttershy, animals of all kinds and species covered the walls, either in cages or in enclosures.

"Alright, Jewel pick any one you like." Fluttershy said.

Jewel took a look at a tabby cat, Shepard dog and even a owl, but each produced the same response from Jewel,

"This one's not the one for me"

After spending two hours in the shelter, Jewel and Fluttershy came out with Jewel looking sad,

"Oh don't worry Jewel, the perfect pet will find to you. I know our will." Fluttershy reassured.

Jewel smiled sadly.

Flashback Ends

"Oh. That's too bad Jewel." Rainbow added.

"It's okay. Maybe one day I will find one, then I won't be so lonely anymore."

Jewel walked off with her head hanging low, leaving Rainbow and Fluttershy with concerned faces. That same morning, Jewel was walking in the forest listening to the sounds of nature as they serinated the sky.

"I hope I'll find a perfect pet for me, just like my friends" she thought.

Suddenly she heard some rustling in a bush next to her.

"Hmm, what's that?" she thought.

Jewel got her answer when she looked into the bush and saw a really big egg; it was light brown with a white line in the middle. Jewel gasped softly and carefully picked up the egg.

"What are you doing our here all alone?" she asked the egg. The egg was cold, so Jewel rubbed the egg gently. As she was doing it, the egg glowed dimly.

"Well, I can't leave you alone, so you're coming with me!" Jewel added. Jewel walked into a nearby jump-tube.

"Hang on, little one." Jewel warned. Jewel and she junped into the tube. In the base, the rangers were summoned to be shown a new upgrade to their morphers.

"So with this upgrade, our attacks will be more powerful?" Rainbow asked.

"Yes. I've analyzed Jewel's damage count of the monsters that you've faced in the past and I managed to copy that to your morphers." Twilight explained.

Jewel appeared in the base and walked over to her friends, "Hey Jewel what are you do-" Lightning began asking but he stopped when he saw the egg.

"Um Jewel, what do you have there?" Rainbow asked.

"I've found it in the middle of the forest, I couldn't just leave it there. So I decided to bring it here." Jewel replied.

"But what is it?" Sunset asked. Fluttershy approached the egg, looking at the closely,

"The egg is a Rockruff egg."

"What's a Rockruff?" Lightning asked.

Fluttershy took out her phone and showed team what a Rockruff looked like:

"Aww, that's so cute!" Sunset said.

"It's a rock type pokemon and it can evolve into Lycanroc midday or midnight form, which are these two."

"Woah! That midnight form looks scary and powerful! Awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"They both look powerful." Lightning added.

"So that's what my little rockruff will grow up to be?" Jewel asked.

"If it wants to. Not every pokemon wants to evolve." Fluttershy added.

"Okay." Jewel replied.

Jewel looked at the egg wondering when it'll hatch.

Two weeks passed, and Jewel was taking great care of the egg, she bathed it, kept it warm and away from anything that may crack the egg. Principal Celestia allowed Jewel to bring the egg to school, so she could keep an eye on it.

Now, Jewel was in P.E. Everybody, including the rangers, were either running the track or running through an obstacle course for a grade. The coach allowed Jewel to sit in the corner and watch over her egg, knowing that some of the students may try to either take the egg or harm it.

“Who’s a cute little egg. You are, yes you are.” Jewel cooed.

“Well, look at who’s playing with her dumb egg, again.” Jewel looked and saw Nikki, Amber and Dionne, staring down at her. Jewel gently tightened the grip on her egg. “My egg is not dumb! She’s only a baby.” Jewel replied.

“Oh Pu-lease, that egg is nothing special. Here let me show you.” Nikki snatched the egg out of Jewel’s arms and held in up in the air.

“NO…! GIVE ME BACK MY EGG…!!” Jewel shrieked.

“Awww, does the baby want her other baby. HAHAHA !!!” Nikki taunted.

Amber and Dionne only watched a little hesitant. The other students came over and watched the whole thing. The rangers were about to jump in when the egg began to glow.

Nikki screamed and almost dropped the egg, but Jewel swooped in and caught it. She held the egg close to her body and it glowed brighter and brighter. All the students covered their eyes at the level of brightness. When the light dimmed, in place of the egg in Jewel’s arms, was a baby Rockruff.

All the students, except the Jazzies awww’d at the little puppy. Rockruff opened his brown eyes, and stared at Jewel.

“Hi there little fella.” Jewel greeted.

Rockruff barked and nuzzled Jewel’s face in greeting. Jewel laughed in joy.

Nikki scoffed, “What is that thing? It's all ugly and brown.”

Rockruff heard that and barked, it leaped out of Jewel’s arms it landing in front of Nikki and raised its tail. Sparkles began to form around it. The sparkled turned into rocks, which Rockruff launched at Nikki, covering her in dust from head to toe.

Nikki saw herself and screamed in horror, “THAT FURBALL MESSED UP MY CLOTHES…!!” the Nikki promptly fainted into Amber and Dinnoe’s arms.

“You won’t get away with this!” Amber cried.

“Yea, like, totally won’t.” Dinnoe added, the two dragged their leader out of the gymnasium. Rockruff barked and stood up straight with it’s tail high in the air, giving the ‘that’s what you get’ look.

After they left, there was a moment of silence, until all the students, including the coach burst into laughter. Soon, lunch came and everybody was in the cafeteria. The rangers were sitting with jewel and her Rockruff, still talking about what happened.

“That...was hilarious..!!” Rainbow laughed.

“It sure was,” Lightning agreed, “looks like your Rockruff does not like people teasing it.”

Rockruff was in Jewel’s lap and she was giving it little pieces of chicken she had for lunch.

“It’s so cute....!!” Fluttershy cooed while petting it.

Rockruff rubbed against Fluttershy's hand.

"We're gonna be best friends right, Rockruff?" Jewel asked. Rockruff barked and nuzzled Jewel's face. Jewel laughed in response and the rangers smiled at the cute scene.

Meanwhile at the Prison Tower, the minions were watching all of this on the monitors. “Ugh! It make me sick!” Marla said.

“Me too.” Bronc said. Keto was too busy watching the scene and came up with an idea. “I think I’ve got something.” He said.

“What is it?” Marla asked.

“We can use that dog to lure the Animal Ranger to us then we can steal her magic and destory her and the other rangers.” Keto explained. Marla and Bronc liked the idea. “I like it.” Marla said.

“As do I.” Nacluv agreed as he came in to the main laboratory. “We shall execute Keto’s plan at once.” The minions and Nacluv teleported to Mystic Island.

Meanwhile, Jewel took Rockruff to the rest of her classes. All the students and teachers cooed at the sight of the little thing. After the last bell, Jewel and Rockruff were walking in the soccer field.

Rockruff hugged Jewel’s leg with its two little paws. “Aww. I love you too, Rockruff.” Jewel said.

Suddenly, long pink hair cane in and wrapped around Rockruff. “Rockruff!” The hair dragged Rockruff into the forest and Jewel immediately chased after it. “Hang on, I’m coming buddy!” She called.

She came to a clearing where she saw in horror Rockruff being held by Marla and Bronc, Keto and Nacluv were there too. “Look who came to get their precious puppy back.” Marla sneered.

Jewel clenched her fists. “Give me back a Rockruff.” Jewel toon put her morpher and.m preheated to morph but Nalcuc blasted her arm, she scratched in pain and her morpher fell from her hands.

“How about a trade; we give you back your dog if you surrender yourself to us.” Nacluv offered.

Jewel knew what Nacluv and the minions would do to her but she couldn’t risk them taking Rockruff away from her. “.... Deal.” She said. Nacluv smiled victoriously and Marla set Rockruff on the ground and she wrapped Jewel up in her hair. With their target secured they teleported away.

Rockruff rushed out of the forest and went to Celesto’s Manison and frantically scratched at the door. Lightning opened it. “Rockruff, What are you doing here? And where’s Jewel?” he asked. Rockruff just rushed in and went over to Fluttershy, who was with Rhymey.

Buddy, Rainbow, Twilight, Spike, Celesto and Celestiacame in. What’s up with Rockruff?” Rainbow asked, hearing the commotion. “No idea.” Lightning replied. “But he looks very distressed.”

Rockruff began barking at Fluttershy and she gasped but when he was finished and clam down a little. “What’s wrong Fluttershy?” Buddy asked.

“Rockruff said that Nacluv and the minions captured him and forced Jewel to surrender herself to them to save him.” Everybody gasped in horror.

“We hotness to get her back!” Rainbow stated.

“How?” Fluttershy asked. “We don’t know where they took her.”

“I can track her from the base.” Twilight said. With that, everybody headed to the base. Once inside, Twilight went to her console and began tracking for any alien DNA. “I hope Jewel’s okay.” Fluttershy said.

“Me too.” Sunset added.

The monsters took Jewel deep into the forest and tied her to a tree with thick chains. “Hahaha! Finally, we’ll get rid of the rangers for good. And it’s all thanks to you.” Jewel struggled to get out of then chains but she couldn’t.

“You won’t succed!” Jewel said.

Nacluv snickered. “I believe we will. Once we have your magic, we will destroy your friends and conquer the world!” Nacluv stated.

“Keto! Prepare the extraction!”

Keto pondered her staff at Jewel and said, “Refrain of Denial” the mugic began moving towards Jewel until...

“Arf!” Rocks shards suddenly came in and blasted the mugic away. “Huh? Who did that?!” Marla thundered. The rangers and Rockruff kept down and landed in front of Jewel. “You’re not getting her magic, Nacluv.” Sunset stated.

Buddy and Rhymey tended to Jewel. “Jewel are you okay?”

“Yes, how’d you find me?” Jewel asked.

“Your Rockruff picked up on your scent,
He dashed out of the base and headed to here,
We knee what that meant,
The fact he found you was clear.” Rhymey explained. Rockruff came to his owners’ side and whimpered, pawing at the chains. “I’m okay, Rockruff.” Jewel reassured.

“Let’s get these chains off of you.” Buddy said. He and Rhymey slashed the chains and Jewel was free.

Nacluv and the minions knew they had lost and teleported back to the Tower. “We were so close!” Keto bellowed. Nacluv and the boys were equally upset. “Now what?” Marla asked.

“Well just have to come up with a better plan to get that rangers’ magic.” Nacluv stated.

All the rangers took Jewel out for lunch to help her stay strong. “Are you okay, Jewel?” Sunset asked.

“Yeah.” Jewel replied. Rockruff was nuzzling her stomach. “Thanks for saving me again you guys.”

“Thank Rockruff.” Lightning said. “If it weren’t for him, we would have never had found you.” Buddy replied. Rockruff licked Jewel’s face.

Jewel laughed and rubbed his head. “Thanks Rockruff.” Jewel said. “You’re my best friend.... uh... next to you guys.” Jewel said.

Everybody shared a laugh.

Episode 8: Gaining Confidence

One morning, Susnet, Rainbow, Twilight and Jewel were in history class, unfortunately, so were the Jazzies.

Jewel was going through her backpack, until Nikki burst in and deliberately kicked it over.

"Hey!" Jewel said. Nikki flicked her hair at her, "Oh, sorry, you cheap backpack was in the way." Nikki replied. Amber and Donnie chuckled.

"Just leave me alone." Jewel said.

"And if we don't what are you doing to do about it?" Amber instigated.

Jewel didn’t respond, being too scared and shy. Jewel just turned around.

"That's what I thought." Nikki added.

Nikki and the Jazzies took their seats leaving Jewel feeling sad. This didn't go unnoticed by her friends, They exchanged looks of concern at each other.

After history came lunchtime, everybody was in the cafeteria eating their lunch and talking to their friends..... well almost everybody.

In the school soccer field, Jewel was by herself eating her lunch in private, which didn't last very long.

"Hey!" Jewel looked and saw the Jazzies walking towards her in a threatening manner.

"W-What do you want?" Jewel asked, nervously.

"We're don't want anything. We're just here to teach you a little lesson. Girls!" Nikki snapped her fingers and Amber and Dinnone charged Jewel. She ran away with the two girls in her heels.

Jewel was soon cornered behind the school by the three girls, "This is what happens when someone messes with the Jazzies." Nikki declared.

The Jazzies then punched, kicked and threw Jewel around multiple times. When they were done, Jewel was covered in bruises, she could hardly see straight and she couldn't feel anything.

"Let this be a warning to you. But the next time, we won't be so easy on you." Nikki threatened.

"Yeah." Amber and Dinnone added.

The Jazzies walked away and back inti the school. Jewel tried to get up but she was too weak and sore. No matter how many times she tried, she ended up laying flat on the ground. "Ugggh.... Help." She groaned. Unfortunately, nobody heard her because they were all in the cafeteria.

However, one animal saw everything and dashed into the school.

After lunch, the rangers were in cooking class. "Alright students, today we well bake some cookies." Ms. Cake said. The students all cheer at the word 'cookies'. Before Ms. Cake could say another word, the sounds of screaming came from the hallway.

"What is that?" Sunset asked.

The rangers walked into the hallway and saw the same gray wolf from before!

"What's that wolf doing here again?" Rainbow asked. The gray wolf trotted up to Fluttershy and softly barked and growled. Fluttershy gasped in horror when he was done.

"What is it Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked.

"The wolf said he saw Nikki and the Jazzies beating up Jewel behind the school. Now she can't get up or even move! Fluttershy explained.

The rangers gasped in extreme horror.

"Let's go!" Sunset ordered.

Following the wolf, the rangers dashed out of the school and went behind it. There, they saw Jewel laying on her back, moaning and groaning. The wolf immediately went to her and licked her bruised face.

"JEWEL....!!!"

The rangers rushed to their friends side.

"Jewel are you okay?" Rainbow asked.

Jewel only respond with a moan. The wolf whimpered and gently nuzzled her faces, trying its best not to cause her anymore pain. “She doesn’t look so good.” Rainbow said. "We've gotta get her to the hospital!" Sunset cried.

"Come in! Let's go!" Buddy said.

Sunset carefully lifted Jewel into her arms and they all rushed her to the hospital. Celesto, Principal Celestia and Twilight were all informed and arrived at the hospital to meet the gang.

Soon, Jewel was in a hospital room, laying in bed with bandages around her torso, head and arms. Also, she was hooked up to an IV to keep her hydrated.

"She looks so..... lifeless." Fluttershy said.

Rainbow clenched her fists, furious, "When I get my hands on Nikki, I'm gonna-"

"Rainbow, don't." Sunset objected.

"Yeah. Beating up Nikki and the Jazzies isn't gonna help Jewel." Lightning agreed. The wolf whimpered. Normally animals aren’t allowed in hospitals, but the doctors saw that the wolf won’t leave Jewel’s side so they were forced to let it come in into the hospital with the rangers.

Everybody suddenly heard some moaning, they looked and saw Jewel opening her eyes and slightly sitting up. "JEWEL....!!!" Hearing her friends delightful cried, Jewel looked up and saw all her friends around her bedside. "Guys?....Ngggh..... What happened?" Jewel groaned.

"Nikki and her friends beat you up and left you behind the school." Sunset explained.

"We're so glad you're awake." Celesto praised. The wold pit it’s front paws on the bed and licked Jewel’s face, “Hey it’s you again.”

“The wolf let us know you were in trouble.” Fluttershy added.

"So how long will I be in here for?" Jewel asked.

"For a couple weeks, Ms. Jewel," everybody turned towards the door and saw Doctor Penny entering.

"A couple weeks....?!" Jewel repeated.

"Indeed. It will take about two weeks for all your injuries to heal completely."

"TWO WEEKS! B-But what about my school work?" Jewel asked.

"Don't worry, you can still catch up when you get out." Lightning reassured.

"B-But." Jewel studdered.

"Relax, Jewel," Rainbow added, "Your acting like Twilight over a test."

"I do not act like that!" Twilight announced.

The others rolled their eyes. "Well..okay." Jewel sighed. The others left so Jewel could get some rest. Then, Jewel fell asleep in her bed.

Two weeks have passed and Jewel was back in school. However, since she returned her friends started noticing her acting strange; she's been skipping classes that she usually has with Nikki (which is about four) and she's been hiding in the bathroom during P.E and lunch. When her friends tried asked Jewel what was wrong, she only respond with "I'm fine."

Soon, they had enough and decided they would a confront Jewel about this.

It was Tuesday afternoon, just after third period, Jewel was in her locker getting what she needed for fourth period. When she closed her locker, she was surprised to see all her friends, Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna standing beside her, with serious faces.

"Ummm.... what are you guys doing here? Hehehe." Jewel asked nervously.

"We're here so we can ask you what's wrong....again." Sunset replied.

"What do you mean, there's nothing wrong." Jewel reploed.

"That's not true Jewel. You've been skipping classes and nobody sees you at lunch. This is extremely unlikely of you," Lightning stated, "Please Jewel, tell us what's wrong."

Jewel knew that she couldn't hide the truth any longer, "Okay the truth is....I'm.....scared of Nikki and her friends after what they did to me."

Th gang gasped in shock, "But Jewel why didn't you tell us bout this?" Celestia asked.

"Well....Nikki said that she would do the same thing again....but I'd end up more injured. And that I would be a talletale, which nobody likes." The group were disgusted by this.

"That's low even for Nikki." Rainbow said.

"Yep." Luna added.

"Jewel you're our friend, we'll always like you." Fluttershy stated.

"Jewel, you did the right thing, telling us, it's not bad to tell a friend about a bully." Lightning reassured. Then music began playing and the group sang a song to Jewel.

After the song Jewel began to feel a little better.

"Are you okay now, Jewel?" Buddy asked.

"I feel a little better, but how can I stop Nikki from bullying me?" Jewel asked.

"Well first you need confidence." Rainbow answered.

"How?" Jewel asked.

"Come on." Rainbow grabbed Jewel's hand and led her to the gymnasium. From there she stood in front of her while the other rangers stood on the sidelines.

"Okay, Jewel. I want you to pretend I'm Nikki. Now I'm gonna say something and I want you to say 'no!' Okay?" Rainbow asked. Jewel nodded.

Rainbow cleared her throat and said, "Give me all your lunch money!"

"Ummm. No." Jewel said quietly.

Rainbow sighed disappointed, "Say it again louder."

"No." Jewel said quietly...again.

"Louder!"

"No."

"Louder!!"

"No."

"LOUDER...!!!"

Jewel took a big breath of air and said. "No." in the same voice volume. Rainbow face-palmed and fell to her back.

"Too loud?" She asked.

The other rangers just shook their heads, disappointedly.

The other rangers tried helping Jewel gain confidence in their own way. Rhymey and Fluttershy tried getting Jewel to speak in front of others.... ending in Jewel running out of the area, whimpering.

Lightning and Rainbow tried getting Jewel to play a sport to increase her self-esteem.... also ending in Jewel running away from the field, leaving Lightning and Rainbow frustrated.

Every attempt they tried to help Jewel's confidence, either ended in Jewel running away or just looking at them, scared.

By the time the end of the day came, the rangers went to Mr. Grandruler's mansion to discuss.

"Everything we've tried, failed." Lightning said.

"Even Fluttershy was easier to give confidence to then Jewel." Rainbow added.

"Nothing we've done seems to work." Buddy added.

"Well, maybe Jewel needs to gain confidence in her own way." Grandruler replied.

"Her own way? What do you mean?" Lightning asked.

"I mean, Jewel has her own style when it comes to gaining confidence." Gandruler explained.

"But how?" Rainbow asked.

"Think about it. When does Jewel gain the most confidence?" Celesto asked. All the rangers thought for a moment, "When she's battling with us!" All the rangers exclaimed.

"Jewel is always confident when we're in trouble during a battle!" Lightning added.

"But how can we use that to help her gain confidence?" Fluttershy asked.

"I believe I can help you with that." Everybody turned around and saw a monster with a cage for a head and bars for arms and legs with a lock-shaped body. The monster blasted the rangers, Twilight, Celesto and Celestia, trapping them in a cage. The rangers tried morphing but they're morphers weren't working because of the bars magic.

"Looks like you all got caged." The monster said.

"Let's us go!" Twilight cried.

"No way! Once I get my hands on your little animal ranger, I'll destory all of you for good! HAHAHA!" The rangers exchanged worried experssion at each other.

Meanwhile, Jewel was walking in downtown, thinking to herself, "I'll never be confident like my friends. I'll just be a pushover forever."

Suddenly, she heard people screaming and saw people running away. She ran in the opposite direction of the people and saw what they were running from.

A monster was imprisoning people in cages and to her horror, she saw her friends locked in a cage as well.

Soon the monster appeared in front of her, "Hello there animal ranger, the name is Steel, you like my cages?"

"Let my friends and those people go now!" Jewel squeaked, shaking like a leaf.

"Oh please, you couldn't even save them if you tried." Steel taunted.

Jewel knew she had to free her friends and the people but she had to get pass Steel first.

"I can do it! For my friends!" Jewel took out her morpher.

Morphing Sequence, Ready!

Jewel's morphing scence was different form the other rangers. She jumped up and landed on the back on a horse. A falcon charged in a collided with Jewel, magically donning on her magenta suit.

"Cool!" Lightning cried.

"Time to put you in a cage. Lingos!" At his command a swarm of Lingos appeared and charged Jewel. Jewel charged head on and began punching and kicking all of them. In no time, she dashed up to Steel.

Steel used his arms to block every attack Jewel threw his way. Not having a weapon on hand, Jewel could only resort to fruitless punches and kicks.

"I've had enough!" Steel blasted a large wave of power at Jewel, sending her flying back and rolling onto the floor.

"JEWEL..!!!" cried the rangers.

Jewel stuggled to get up, but she was too weak from the attack. "Now time to end this ranger once and for all!" Steel said, approaching Jewel.

"I can't give up! My friends need me! And I won't let them down." Jewel thought. Suddenly, Jewel began to glow light yellow, stopping Steel in hi tracks.

"What's happening to Jewel?" Lightning asked.

Jewel began to change in front of everybody; her hands and feet turned into powerful paws with sharp claws, she grew a thin tail with a tasile of fur on the end, her canine teeth grew two inches longer, shaking for her mouth. Jewel got down on all fours and roared, dispelling the light and revealing....

....she changed into a female lion!

"Jewel transformed again..?!" Rainbow asked.

"Uh oh!" Steel whimpered. Lion Jewel roared and charged Steel jump in up and slashing I'm hard. It caused massive damage. Then she walked over to the cage with her friends in it and slashed it with her claws, breaking it in half!

"I see,
We're free!" Rhymey cried.

Fluttershy petted Lion Jewel, who purred in response.

"Thanks Jewel." Lighting praised.

Lion Jewel stood up and licked Lightning's face, causing him to laugh.

"I'm not done with you yet!" Everybody looked and saw Steel standing up again. "Jewel, to free the people, we'll take care of him." Lightning ordered. Lion Jewel nodded and dashed away to free the trapped people.

Celesto and Twilight secretly went to a jump-tube to the underground labs.

Let's go!" cried Sunset.

Morphing Sequence, Ready!

STARFLEET MAGIC....POWER ON!

"Cosmic Comet...Power on!"

Steel charged the rangers and Sunset and Lightning summoned their weapons.

"Star Sceptar!"

"Comet Gantlets!"

The other rangers then summoned their weapons.

Rainbow: “Sonic Cannon!”

Rhymey: “Raid Blade!”

Fluttershy: “Strong Shield!”

Rhymey tried slashing Steel with his sword, but he blocked every attack. Buddy tried to lasso him with his whip, but Steel grabbed it and pulled Buddy towards him, then punched him in the face.

"Bring them together guys!" cried Sunset.

“Weapons combine!”

“Star Slammer… Ready!”

“Let's boost it up.” Lightning said.

“Comet Gauntlets, Engage!”

“Comet Trail… Fire!” He charged up the Star-Slammer, and the others aimed it at the monster. “STAR-SLAMMER… ULTRA-STRIKE!!”

The monster roared in agony and exploded.

"Keto do it!" Nacluv cried. Keto nodded, "FORTISSIMO!" His mugic traveked all the way to Mystic Island and turned Steel into a giant.

“Launch Star-Jets!”

“Summon Zords!”

The Jets were launched and came to the rangers’ aid.

“GIGANTIFY!” Lightning shouted, and he pressed on his morpher.

“Giant-Mode, ready!”

With that, he grew into a giant, and at the same time, the other rangers combined their zords.

“Jet-Star Megazord… Ready!”

"Let's cage this creep." Sunset said.

"RIGHT!!" the others agreed.

Meanwhile, Lion Jewel freed all the people and transformed back into normal Jewel and she saw her friends battling.

The maega zord charged Steel and tried punching it but Steel bloacked it with his arms. Lightning tried attacking from behind up Steel moved out of the way and kicked Lightning sending him rolling to the ground.

"Ugh, this dude is tough!" Lightning groaned.

"You wanna see tough, well here it is." Steel created a large cage and hurled it at the rangers. "Watch out!" Rainbow cried.

Both Lightning and the megazord got caught in the cage! Jewel gasped in horror. The rangers pounded the controls while Lightning tried to smash through it, but nothing worked.

"It's no good! All the controls aren't working!" Buddy cried.

At the base, Twilight, Celesto, Spike and Krysta as everything.

"How are they going to get out of this one?" Spike asked.

"I can't send them the Ultra Star Megazord! The cage is interfering with the summoning controls."

"Lightning!" cried Kyrsta.

"This can't be happening!" Spike added.

Jewel could only watch as Steel tossed her friends around the cage like ragdolls. "I've got to help them! But how?" She asked herself. The bracelet on her wrist glowed and a stone with a lion symbol on it appeared.

"Woah! A lion stone, but where's the zord?" Jewel got her answer when she heard some quiet breathing behind her. Turning around she saw a golden yellow lion zord with golden mane, staring down at her. "Amazing!"

Lion zord opened it's mouth and Jewel walked inside and entered the cockpit.

"Alright big boy, let's do this!"

The megazord and Lightning were taking a beating! Steel tossed and hurled them around with pleassure. "I don't know about you guys, but I can't take much more." Lightning groaned.

"Me either." Rainbow added. Steel laughed as he approached and picked up the cage. "Time for you rangers to be free....of living!" Steel was about to finish it when,

"ROOOOOOAAAAR!"

Steel and the rangers looked and saw in the sunlight a Lion zord and Jewel in the cockpit. "Put them down!" Jewel demanded.

"HAHAHA! Why would I listen to you and that pussy cat?" Steel taunted.

Lion zord growled and leaped at Steel, it knocked the cage out of it's hands and Steel to the ground. Lion zord then walked over to the cage. It lifted up its paw, extending it's sharp claws. Then it slashed the cage in half, freeing the rangers.

"Alright Jewel!" cheered Buddy.

"Awesome!" added Rainbow.

"Ummm. I don't wanna be the bringer of bad news but we're almost out of power." Sunset stated.

It was true! The megazords have taken so much damage, rendering their power nearly gone.

"Now what?" Fluttershy asked.

"I've got this," Jewel said, she tapped the wolf stone in her bracelet.

"Wolf Zord, Summon!

Wolf zord arised from the first valley, howling. It rushed over to the battle field and stood next to Lion Zord.

"Wolf Zord, NATURE'S BLESSING!, heal the megazords." Wolf zord reared up and leaves swirled around it. Its fired a ball of leaves of its mouth and the leaves twirled around the two megazords, restoring them to full health!

"Alright!" Lightning cried.

Steel got up again and saw the megazords standing, Uh oh!" He whimpered. The megazords were about to charge but, "Guys, let me finish him off." Jewel suggested.

The rangers looked at each other and nodded. "To right ahead." Sunset ordered. Lion zord roared and stalked towards Steel.

"Now, buddy, THUNDER BAZOOKA!"

Lion zord became covered in electricity and ran full speed at Steel, it leaped up and spun forwards with its claws extended as it flew towards Steel. Lion zord hit Steel with the electricity, actually imprisoning him in a capture sphere.

"Incredible!" Celesto cried.

Lion zord landed and roared proudly. "Mission Completed, Monster Captured!" Jewel declared. The rangers and the civilians below cheered and rejoiced her the victory.

All the rangers returned to the base,

"Jewel! That was amazing!" Spike declared.

"Yes, you've shown incerdible battling skills, Jewel." Celesto praised.

"Thank you sir." Jewel said.

"So how did Jewel manage to change into a lion? She did the same thing before when she turned into a falcon." Buddy asked.

"That's a mystery, but one we will solve together." Celesto added. All the rangers nodded.

Episode 9: First Space Trip

It was midday and the rangers were in the underground labs with Twilight, Spike, Krysta and Jewel. They were called because Mr. Grandruler said he needs Jewel for something.

"So, what do you need Jewel for, sir?" Sunset asked.

"Jewel, sometimes the rangers have to go into space to save the world. Now that you are a power ranger, you will one day do the same thing. So, we are going to take you first trip to space." Celesto spoke to Jewel.

All the rangers gasped in excitement while was surprised. "Me! Go to space! Really?" Jewel asked.

"Really." Celesto said.

"You're gonna love space, Jewel." Rainbow said.

"But how will Jewel get there?” Fluttershy asked, “She's doesn't have a Star Jet like us."

"Jewel can use her Falcon Zord." Twilight replied.

"But can it handle going through the atmospheres?" Lightning asked.

"Me and Professor Brain have been doing scans of her zords and the Falcon Zord is more than capable of going to space." Twilight explained.

"Good. We must go at once." Celesto added.

Soon, the jets and the Falcon Zord were prepared and on the launching ramp.

All the rangers were morphed and were in their respective jets. Lightning and Celesto shared the backseat in Sunset's jet.

“Radio check, Rangers…” Sunset called, and her other teammates called to her.

“Green Ranger: read to fly.”

“Blue Ranger: Let’s kick it.”

“Yellow Ranger: Ready and Steady.”

“Pink Ranger: Um… Okay.”

"Animal Ranger: Yes!"

Celesto nodded, “… Three, Two, One… launch!”

POW!! The thrusters fired and the jets rocketed into the sky and the Falcon Zord sqwaked and flapped it's wings and followed them.

The rangers sat back and enjoyed the right while Fluttershy, as usual, screamed her lungs out! Jewel mentally laughed at Fluttershy’s screaming.

At Prison Tower, the villains had observed everything and were well aware what the rangers were up to.

"This is our chance to get rid of that pesky animal ranger for good!" Nacluv said, "Bronc send it up!"

“Right away, sir!” Bronc replied.

Bronc sent up the satellite he built on a small rocket, which were both coated in the same metals as the tower, meaning that no earth force could detect it. Even the rangers couldn’t detect it.

"Now we wait for the right moment." Nacluv added. He and his minions laughed.

Meanwhile, The rangers had made it into orbit and Jewel was amazed at how beautiful space was. "Like it, Jewel?" Sunset asked.

"I love it, is so beautiful." Jewel replied.

“Told you you’d like it Jewel.” Rainbow gloated.

“We have to keep and eye out for Nacluv or his minions.” Lightning warned, “Yeah, knowing them they might try to capture Jewel again.” Buddy added.

Hearing that, Jewel suddenly felt kinda nervous, "Um... are you sure they can even come out here?" Jewel asked, nervously.

"Don't worry Jewel, we won't let anything happen to you." Lightning reassured.

"If trouble comes for you this time,
We'll be there to help on the dime." Rhymey added.

Jewel felt a little better. "Thanks you guys." Jewel thanked.

“Don’t worry Jewel, they can’t get us up here.” Rainbow added.

Suddenly, "Rangers, red alert!" Twilight yelled.

“Spoke too soon.” Fluttershy stated.

"What is it Twilight?" Celesto asked.

"There's a high sign of alien activity. I don't know where it came from."

"Right, rangers be sharp." Rangers looked all around them but didn't see anything until.....

a beam zoomed passed all the star jets, it almost hit the Falcon Zord if Jewel hadn't pulled up at that moment.

“What was that?!” cried Rainbow.

“Look!” Buddy added.

The rangers and Celesto saw a satellite coming there way, as well as hearing a familiar laugh. “Bronc!”

That was when a screen appear in front of the satellite with Bronc’s face on it. "Why hello rangers, like my new satellite?"

“What do you want!” Sunset asked.

“I’m just here to get rid of the pesky Animal Ranger,” Bronc stated nonchalantly, “That’s all.”

Jewel gulped nervously. The rangers weren’t going to allow Bronc to hurt their friend.

“If you wanna make Jewel suffer worst,
You'll have to get pass us first." snarled Rhymey.

The rangers placed their star jets around Jewel like a protective circle.

"Gladly." Bronc pressed the button and missiles came out of the satellite. "Swerve!" cried Sunset. The rangers swerved their jets out of the way, breaking the circle and leaving Jewel defenseless. Bronc guided the satellite towards falcon zord, snickering.

Jewel stirred the Zord away from the satellite, “Oh no you don’t!” Bronc called as he controlled the satellite and chased Jewel.

Jewel tried to shake the satellite but Bronc was a good controller and matched her every move. Finally, the satellite rammed Falcon Zord, rocking Jewel inside.

He was about to make his move when....

“Oh no you don’t!” Rainbow exclaimed. She drove her jet and hit the satellite, knocking it away from Jewel. “I think so!” Bronc replied. He moved the satellite back towards Jewel and pressed a button in the controller. A tractor beam shot out of it and hit Falcon Zord.

“JEWEL...!!” the rangers cried.

Twilight and Spike saw everything on the monitors and gasped as well.

"Jewel are you okay?" asked Sunset.

"Yea. I'm Okay." Jewel tried the controls, but Falcon Zord didn't move at all. "But something's wrong with Falcon Zord, her controls aren’t working!”

“My tractor beam is too powerful for you to break through!” Bronc exclaimed, “and now to dispose of you... for good!” Bronc stirred the satellite away from the rangers and deep into space.

“GUYS! HELP..!!!!” Jewel cried.

“Hang on Jewel, we’re coming!” Sunset called. The rangers chased after the satellite.

Meanwhile, back at Prison Tower where Marla, Keto and Nacluv were laughing. "Well done, Bronc." Nacluv praised.

"Thank you, sir." Bronc replied.

The rangers had the satellite in their sights, “Give us back our friend!” Rainbow demanded.

“HAHAHA! Fat chance, rangers!” Bronc replied.

Soon, the rangers and Bronc came across a large black hole. Bronc snickered evilly and maneuvered Falcon Zord above the black hole.

“How about a wager, rangers.” Bronc offered, “You surrender your animal ranger and I might not just throw her into this black hole. Where she’ll disappear forever!”

The rangers and Celesto gasped in horror,

“Your monster! We would never sell out our friend!” Buddy growled.

“Fine. Your choice.” Bronc replied and he deactivated the tractor beam and Falcon Zord fell into the black hole, “JEWEL..!!!!” the rangers cried.

Falcon Zord was tumbling head over heels in the black hole.

“Now what?” Rainbow asked.

“We got to get her out of there or we’ll lose her forever!” Fluttershy cried.

“Right but how do we do?
If we get near it we’ll get sucked in too.” Rhymey asked.

“Rangers, I have an idea.” Twilight stayed over the radio, “Use all your tractor beams on Falcon Zord. That’ll be just enough to pull up it out of the black hole.”

“Right!” all the rangers replied.

Meanwhile, Jewel was in her cockpit, feeling extremely she sick to her stomach.

"JEWEL!" Jewel sickly looked and saw all her friends star jets. "Don't worry Jewel, we'll get you out of there!" Lightning cried.

Jewel’s stomach gurgled sickly and she tried her best not to vomit it n her helmet.

"Uuggh....hurry! My stomach can't take.... ulp..... much more.... ulp." Jewel sickly groaned. All the rangers fired their tractor beams at Falcon Zord and caught it. Then they gently lifted it out of the black hole and flew away with the zord in tow.

Soon, the star jets and Falcon Zord were back at the base.

The rangers quickly exited their respective jets and rushed over to Falcon Zord which had it mouth open and Jewel was walking out going side-to-side, looking really green in the face.

Sunset and Lightning came and help steady Jewel.

"Easy Jewel.” Sunset soothed.

“Ulp..... I think I’m g-gonna be sick.” Jewel groaned, her face turned a deeper shade of green.

“Come on, Let's get you to the lab." Lightning said.

Sunset and Lightning took Jewel to the lab and into the sickbay, followed by the others and placed her in a bed. Fluttershy placed a bucket nearby, in case Jewel vomited. Rhymey gave her some water and Rainbow placed a blanket on her.

"Thanks you guys." Jewel said, sickly.

Twilight and Lightning came in with Sunset and Celesto and rubbed her head. "How are you feeling?"

"Still sick to my stomach."

"Well take it easy for a while and you’ll feel better in no time, okay?" Celesto said. Jewel nodded and dozed off.

The rangers exited quietly and went into the main chamber. Professor Brain managed to fixed the controls for Falcon Zord.

“There! The controls are functioning properly again.” he declared. As much as that relived the rangers, they still couldn’t stop thinking about what happened.

"I can't believe they would do that." Lighting muttered.

“The fact that they would actually throw into something that dangerous is scary.” Rainbox said.

“Jewel is in more danger that is so,
The villains won’t stop trying to capture Jewel,
That we definately know.” Rhymey added.

"Me either. Looks like we'll have to keep more vigilante with Jewel. Who knows what nasty attack Nacluv and his minions will throw her way." Celesto warned.

All the rangers nodded, promising to keep Jewel safe.

Episode 10: Jewel's First Birthday Bash

One early, peaceful night, the rangers were at Mr.Grandrulers' mansion for a special occasion; it was Fluttershy's birthday! Her friends gave her all kinds of gifts and Rhymey wrote a poem about his much he loved and cared about Fluttershy. Everybody thought that was really sweet.

"Thanks everyone." Fluttershy praised.

"Your welcome Fluttershy, can't wait till my birthday next month." Sunset replied.

"Me either." Rainbow added then turned to Jewel, "Hey Jewel, when's your birthday?"

"Birthday..... what's a birthday?" Jewel asked.

There was a moment of silence.

"You're kidding right Jewel?" Lightning asked.

Jewel shook her head and everybody gasped in shock.

"You seriously don't know what a birthday is?!" Buddy asked, "Do you even know your birthday?"

"Ummmm..... no." Jewel stated.

Everybody was shocked. Jewel not only doesn't know what a birthday is and she didn't even know her own birthday. Jewel yawned, "Well I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight guys." she chirped.

With that, Jewel walked upstairs to go to bed. Everybody was still processing what just happened.

"So Jewel doesn't know her birthday or what a birthday is?!" Fluttershy cried.

“Well she was raised by wolves, remember.” Sunset said. “Being raised in the wild, she probably didn’t think about the days she been with them. Which would explosion why she doesn’t know her birthday.”

"But that's just not right,
Everybody should know their birthday,
We have to make this right.
And give Jewel her special day." Rhymey comforted her.

"Yeah, but probably she’s never had a party in her life." Artie said. “being raised by wolves and all.”

"Maybe we should throw her a birthday party." Lightning suggested.

"Perfect! But when should we do it?" Rainbow asked.

"Spike! My calender!" Twilight called. Spike ran off and returned with Twilight's calendarin his mouth. She grabbed it and opened it up to the month of August.

"Right here. Tommorrow, it'll be four months since we first met Jewel. We'll throw her birthday party then." she stated.

"Excellent Twilight." Celesto commented.

"Ready to do this guys?" Lightning asked, "Let's give Jewel the best first birthday ever...!!!" Sunset added.

Everybody cheered.

“Only one problem, how are we going to keep Jewel away last no enough to get the party ready?” Krysta asked.

“I can!” Sunset replied.

“How?” Buddy asked.

“I can take Jewel to the mall for her first shopping spree.” Sunset added.

“Alright. Sunset will keep Jewel away till sunset.” Celesto stated.

“Right sir.” Sunset replied.

The next day, Jewel was walking with Rockruff in the park. Birds were flying majestically in the sky and people were either playing with each other or just walking by and talking.

“It’s a beautiful day, huh Rockruff?” Jewel asked.

Rockruff barked happily.

“Hey Jewel!” Jewel turned and saw Sunset walking towards her. “Hi Sunset, what’s up?”

“You wanna go to the mall?” Sunset asked.

“Ummm. Okay.” Sunset took Jewel to the mall and they went on a small shopping spree. Sunset bought Jewel a pink leather jacket with a kitten faces on it, along with a new pair of white sneakers and all sorts of new clothing. Sunset also got Jewel a light brown collar for Rockruff.

Soon the duo were walking out of the mall with Jewel carrying two large bags. Rockruff can me up to Jewel. Animals weren’t allowed in the mall so Rockruff was forced to stay outside.

Jewel placed the new collar on her and she loved it.

“Thanks for the stuff, Sunset. But are you sure you were okay with paying for everything? I could have helped.” Jewel stated.

“It’s okay Jewel.” Sunset replied.

“Are you sure?” Jewel asked.

Sunset nodded. “So what do we do now?” Jewel asked. Sunset looked at the sky and saw it was sunset.

“Let’s go to Mr.Grandrulers’ mansion.” she suggested.

“Okay.” Jewel replied.

The girls went to the mansion and Jewel saw no lights in there. “Sunset why’s the mansion dark?” Jewel asked.

“You’ll see.” Sunset replied with a slight giggle.

Jewel, looking confused, followed Sunset into the mansion and into the living room.

“Ummm, Sunset, what’s going on?” Jewel asked but she got no answer, “Sunset? Hello?” she called.

Suddenly the lights came on and the rangers, all the adults and Twilight and her family, popped out yelling, “SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEWEL!”

Jewel’s face lit up with excitement and disbelief. The whole room was completely covered in streamers, balloons and decorations.

There was a table with all sorts of refreshments and snacks on it. “What’s this?” Jewel asked.

“It’s your birthday party, silly.” Lightning stated.

“My birthday party?” Jewel repeated.

“We wanted to give you a birthday party true,
So we decided to throw this party for you.” Rhymey replied.

Jewel was really touched by this, “Aww guys, thank you.” she praised.

All her friends smiled at her, “Well what are we waiting for LET’S PARTY!” Sunset cried. Everybody cheered in agreement.

Music played and the rangers tossed Jewel in the air as she laughed.

They all played Just Dance on Celesto’s tv. Jewel defeated Buddy and Rhymey. “OH CONE ON!” Buddy cried. “I swear Jewel keeps cheating!”

“She does not she’s just way better at this game then you two.” Sunset teased.

Buddy and Rhymey growled.

Everybody laughed.

Next it was Jewel verses Lightning Dawn.... Jewel won.

Rainbow was on the floor, on her back laughing at the top of her lungs. “Lightning! You suck!” Rainbow yelled while laughing.

“Shut up Rainbow!” Lightning replied.

After that, they all had cake.

While Fluttershy and Rhymey were eating, cake flew onto their faces and then cake flew onto Celesto and Celestia’s faces as well.

“Huh?” Everybody looked and saw Rainbow laughing while her hand was covered in cake crumbs.

Jewel looked at Rainbow with a smirk and a piece of cake in her hand as well as the others. Rainbow smiled nervously and the cake flew all over the room and everybody had a good laugh.

Then everybody did a conga line all around the living room.

After partying, everybody settled down for some refreshments. Rockruff tried to sneak a bite of Celestia’s burger, but she got caught. “Nice try, girl.” Celestia teased.

Rockruff whimpered and used herb ouppy dog eyes on Celestia, but she didn’t fall for that even other. Jewel laughed at her mischievous Pokémon. “Guys, thanks for doing this for me.” Jewel praised.

“No problem, Jewel. Everybody deserves to celebrate their birthday.” Lightning stated.

“Well this has been the best birthday ever!” Jewel delcared and her friends couldn’t be happier.

Episode 11: The Animal Staff

Jewel found herself in a strange place; a void with animal constellations all over.

“Woah.” she gasped.

“Hello Jewel.” Jewel turned around and saw Queen Novo behind her, except she looked ghost-like. “Queen Novo!? What are you doing here?” Jewel asked.

“I am here you tell you of a special weapon that holds great power.” Novo stated.

“A special weapon?!” Jewel repeated.

“Indeed. It’s called the Staff of Animals. It has the power to summon the strongest animal spirits.”

“So it’s similar to my animal powers?”

“Yes”

“So where can I find it?”

“I can’t reveals too much but I’ll give you a clue. Look inside you locker at school.”

“My locker?”

“Yes. I must go now. Good luck Jewel.”

The void began to waver and everything faded out.

Jewel woke up in a shock. Her dream seemed so real, she believed it was true. If she was going to find a powerful weapon, she’s going to need help.

She gathered up all the rangers and Twilight and told them about her dream.

“Are you sure about this?” Rainbow asked.

“Yes.” Jewel replied.

“Weird, this sorta thing happens to ponies, not humans.” Sunset stated, confused.

“Let’s worry about that later. Right now, it sounds like this ‘Staff of Animals’ is really strong.” Lightning said.

“Queen Novo said it’s very powerful.” Jewel added.

“So the first clue to finding the staff is looking in your school locker?” Buddy asked.

Jewel nodded.

“Well we’d better start looking.” Fluttershy added. What the rangers didn’t know was that Keto was watching them and heard everything!

“Wait till the others hear about this.” She whispered and he teleported back to Prison Tower and told the others.

“Soooo, the rangers are going on a little treasure hunt to find a hidden power which they plan to use against us.” Keto stated.

Bronc winced once, “Oh, are they now?”

Marla poked into the room, “Treasure? Power…? Sounds like something maybe we could use as well. We’ll just have to find it before they do.”

“Indeed.” Bronc stated, “…And I know just the monster that can help us.”

He led his comrades to a cage where a monster named Prospector sat. He looked very much like his name, a plump yet strong looking monster, with a shaggy beard and a bent up cowboy hat. He was armed with sticks of dynamite on a sash, a strong shovel and a sharp pick on his back.

His weapons couldn’t help him while he was locked up, but he was very surprised when his cell was opened. “What in tarnation is goin’ on?” he asked.

“Get up, Prospector!” said Marla “You’re coming with us on a little treasure hunt.”

At first, Prospector didn’t seem interested, “I’ve been in this here cell for over a-hundred years, and I ain’t about to leave for…” he suddenly snapped upright, “…“Treasure” did you say? Well, saddle up and let’s ride! YEE-HAW!!”

Marla and Keto were starting to feel unimpressed.

Meanwhile, the rangers contacted Celesto and asked for him to unlock the school. When he was told of Sunset’s dream, he, too, was rather enthusiastic of seeking this power Flash had left for them.

It was rather dark inside the school, so Celesto used the built-in flashlight in his cane to light the way to Jewel’s locker.

Jewel unlocked her locker but when they looked inside, nothing appeared to be there.

“There’s nothing in here.” Rainbow said.

“Darn, maybe Jewel’s dream really was a dream.” Spike added.

“Wait.... I don’t remember there being a button at the back of my locker.” Jewel said.

The rangers and Celesto saw a red button at the back of Jewel’s locker as well. Jewel pressed the button and the bottom of the locker opened up and a stone floated up and into Jewel’s hands.

The stone was white with a variety of animal symbols and footprints covering it. Twilight scanned it with her alien scanner, “That’s definately not Earth origin, but I can’t figure out what it is.”

“So how is this thing supposed to help us find the animal staff!” Buddy asked.

“I’ve seen a stone like that before, it’s a tracking stone; the closer you get to the object, the faster and brighter the stone will glow.” Sunset added.

“Ummm, guys,” Fluttershy said, nervously. “the stone’s glowing!”

Everybody looked and indeed the stone was glowing and so was Jewel! “Guys?” she whimpered before she vanished in bright flash of light is only leaving sparkles behind.

“Wh-What happened?” Fluttershy asked.

“Jewel! She’s gone!” Buddy cried.

“Where’d she go?” Rainbow cried.

Sunset studied the sparkles left behind and gasped, “She’s been teleported!”

“TELEPORTED?!” the rangers cried.

“To where?” Lightning asked.

“I don’t know.” Sunset replied.

“Oh, not good.” Twilight groaned. Now Jewel was who knows where and her friends didn’t have the slightest clue as to where she could have been teleported to.

“What do we do?” Spike asked.

“Let’s get to the base and see if we can track her.” Fluttershy suggested.

The others agreed and rushed to the base, hoping Jewel was alright.

In a puff of smoke, Jewel appeared on her stomach in the middle of very lush forest and the stone was at her side.

“*Cough Cough* Wh-What happened?” Looking around she didn’t find any sign of her friends.

“Sunset... Lightning.... Anybody?” She called out but got nothing in response. “Okay, so I’m all alone in a big, scary forest with no supplies and just a glowing stone.” Jewel said to herself. “Well I do have my morpher, so that’s good.” Seeing the stone starting to blink slowly, Jewel knew she had to continue on. “Well I’d better find the staff and hope my friends find me.”

With that she walked off into the forest. After about two hours, she came across a large pit of mud. “Oh dear. How am I gonna get across this?” she asked herself.

She didn’t see any vines she could swing on or anything she could walk across the mud on. “Looks like I have no choice. I’ll have to... *gulp*.... walk across it.”

Carefully wading into the mud with the stone held high, she walked into the mud which got deeper the farther she went in. Halfway, the mud was up to her stomach. “Gross.” She whimpered. Soon, she was out of the mud with her pants and half her shirt covered in mud. “Ugh, I’m definately going to need a bath after this.” Pushing through she kept walking forward and the stone was blinking faster and faster. Soon it blinked really fast and Jewel saw a huge castle ruin, coated with moss and vines. “This must be the place.”

She walked towards the castle, going through bushes and wiping sweat from her head from the intense heat. Finally she reached the enterance. “Well here goes nothing.” With that, she entered the Tower, unaware that the minions and Prospector were watching from the brush.

“We’ve got her now.” Marla hissed.

“Come on let’s follow her.” Bronc ordered.

The others agreed and followed Jewel into the castle ruins.

Meanwhile, Twilight was working frantically to try and locate Jewel, “Anything yet?” Lightning asked.

“Nothing yet.” She replied.

“I hope Jewel’s okay.” Fluttershy said. Rhymey placed a hand on his girlfriend’s shoulder.

“Don’t worry we’ll find a way,
And make sure that’s she’s okay.” Rhymey reassured.

“Guys! I’ve got something!” Twilight called.

“What is it?” Celesto asked.

“Some alien DNA coming from the Amazon Rainforest.”

“Amazon Rainforest?” Rainbow said. “Why would alien DNA be coming from there?”

“It must be Nacluv’s minions!” Lightning stated.

“But why would they be there?” Spike asked.

“Because that’s probably where Jewel and the staff are!” Sunset cried. Everybody gasped in horror.

“Those creeps must have teleported to where she was!” Buddy stated.

“We’ve got to get there and fast!” Fluttershy cried. “Who knows what those brutes will do to Jewel.”

“Right!” the rangers agreed. They immediately morphed and prepared their star jets for departure. Lightning rode in the backseat of Sunset’s star jet.

“Ready everybody?” Sunset asked.

“Green Ranger: read to fly.”

“Blue Ranger: Let’s kick it.”

“Yellow Ranger: Ready and Steady.”

“Pink Ranger: Um… Okay.”

“Let’s go!” Sunset added.

BOOM! The star jets blasted off to the Amazon Rainforest full speed ahead. Meanwhile, Jewel was walking down a long dark tunnel with only the stone to guide her. “It’s really... gulp... dark in here.” She whimpered. She came to two separate tunnels, “Great. Now which one should I take?” Suddenly, the stone began floating out of her hands, glowing and blinking fast. Floating over to the right tunnel it floated down the tunnel, “Wait!” Jewel called as she chased after the stone.

The stone led her to a huge room filled with animal symbols and prints. “Woah.”

She spotted the stone floating in the middle of the room. Walking over to it she saw that she was standing in a large spiral marking. The stone floated into the spiral, causing it to light up.

Suddenly the whole room began to rumble and quake, “Woah! What the-!” Jewel cried. Just then the spiral fell into darkness, leaving Jewel with nothing to stand on, “Uh oh.” She squeaked.

She fell down the long hole screaming at the top of her lungs, then she landed with a loud THUD, on her stomach, knocking the wind out of her.

“Oooooooh, that.... really hurt.” Jewel groaned.

She slowly got up into her feet and saw found herself in another room. It had four pillars with animal prints on them. “Wow.” She gasped. In the middle of the room, she saw it!

“The Staff of Animal Spirits!”

She walked towards the staff and got a good look at the staff; it was yellow with brown animal symbols on it. A wolf face was at the top and in the mouth was a glowing blue orb. A pair of falcon wings were below it. Below that was a dolphin crystal that went through the middle of the staff sideways. A pair of elephant tusks were below that and finally and lion’s face was at the bottom.

“Beautiful.” She whispered.

She took it staff off of the podium, it felt warm and it glowed brightly as soon as she touched it.

Suddenly.... “Nice staff, Animal Ranger.” a menacing voice stated.

Jewel gasped in horror and turned around. She saw Marla, Bronc, Keto and Prospector slowly walking towards her threateningly.

“W-What are you doing here?” Jewel asked nervously.

“Why else?” Keto replied. “For the Staff.”

“Hand it over missy, and no one gets hurt.” Prospector threatened.

Jewel back away from the villains until she was against the podium.

“Just hand over the staff, Animal Ranger.” Marla added.

“N-Never!” Jewel pulled out her morpher, ready to morph. “Not so fast!” Prospector launches a dynamite stick at the morpher. It connected and exploded, the morpher was now completely destroyed!

“*Gulp* Uh-oh.” Jewel whimpered.

“Oh yes.” Bronc snickered.

The villains were only a feet away from Jewel when.....

“Comet Trail... Fire!”

The villains were hit and sent flying back. “Guys!” Jewel cried happily. The rangers leapt down from the ceiling in front of Jewel.

“Are you okay, Jewel?” Sunset asked.

“I am now,” Jewel responded. “but my morpher’s dead.” She pointed to the destroyed morpher. “Don’t worry Jewel, we’ll protect you.” Rainbow promised.

“That’s a promise you won’t be able to keep.” Keto snarled. The villains stood up again and charged the rangers. The rangers charged the and brawled.

Marla battled with Buddy and Sunset, punching and kicked them hard, and while they blocked her attacks with their arms and legs, she tripped them up with her long hair. “Have a nice trip?” she teased, and then she launched her nails at them. The two rangers barely managed to roll out of the way, but as they looked ahead, they could see Prospector…!

“Give it up missy.” Prospector demanded. Jewel backed away in fear.

Rhymey and Fluttershy saw the monster and dashed for him, “Oh, no you don’t!” Keto sneered, and he raised his staff shouting, “Surge Song!” casting his mugic upon himself, his comrades and Prospector, increasing their strengths and speed.

“Nice!” hissed Marla, and she punched Buddy and Sunset hard in their chests making sparks fly.

Bronc blasted Rainbow hard and Keto took one swing of his staff, like a bat, and sent Rhymey and Fluttershy soaring off and crashing onto the ground.

“Guys..!!” Jewel cried. Just then, Marla wrapped Jewel up in her hair, forcing her to drop the staff. “No! The staff!” She cried.

The villains chuckled and Keto approached it, “This things as good as ours!” he declared.

“Not good!” Sunset cried.

However, when Keto touched the staff, it shocked him with high voltage of electricity, sending him flying back and the into Marla, freeing Jewel.

“Watch it!” She yelled.

“It’s not my fault!” Keto retorted, “the staff shocked me!”

“Umm, Guys.” Bronc said, pointing at the staff, which was now floating in the air and glowing.

“What’s going on?” Lightning asked. None of the others knew what was happening.

The staff floated into Jewel’s hand and made her glow as well. “Let’s see what this baby can do!” She exclaimed.

She pointed the staff at the villains and a lion spirit came out of the orb and ruthlessly clawed and slashed the villains, sending them into the wall.

“Awesome!” Rainbow cried.

The lion spirit opened it mouth and launched a blue beam of energy at the villains, however, the minions teleported at the last second and Prospector was hit. He exploded and was imprisoned in a capture sphere.

“Alright Jewel!” Buddy cried.

Jewel stopped glowing and felt extremely tired. She closed her eyes and collapsed on the ground.

“JEWEL...!!!”

Jewel’s eyes fluttered open and she was eight blurry figures in front of her.

“.... he.... wak..... up.”

Jewel’s vision cleared and she saw the rangers, Celesto and Twilight looking at her.

“Hey sleepy head.” Sunset said, “how are you feeling?”

“A little woozy.” Jewel groaned, “what happened?”

“You used the Staff of Animals and trashed the monsters!” Rainbow exclaimed.

“But you collapsed afterwards.” Lightning added.

“Why?” Jewel asked.

“It was because, you using it for the first time left you really weak. It’s like your guys Able-Boost.” Twilight started.

“So Jewel will have to use the staff as a last resort then?” Rainbow asked.

“Not quite,” Twilight added, “The more times she uses the staff, the less tired she’ll feel, eventually she can use the staff and infinite amount of times.”

“Looks like you have some training to do Jewel.” Fluttershy said. Jewel looked a little nervous.

“Don’t worry Jewel, we’ll help you,
You’ll master your staff through and through.” Rhymey reassured.

Jewel gratefully smiled at her friends. “Thanks guys.” Suddenly, everybody heard a gurgling sound, they looked at Jewel, who had an embarrassing experssion on her face while holding her empty stomach.

“Umm... excuse me.” she said, sheepishly.

The friends giggled. “Let’s get you something to eat. Sounds like you’re starving.” Sunset suggested.

“Okay.”

With that, everybody left and went out for dinner.

Episode 12: A Sticky Situation

Jewel and the rangers were at Celesto’s mansion for sure me training. It had been two weeks since Jewel recovered the Animal Staff.

Now she was practicing how to control its power. Rhymey and Fluttershy set up four targets about ten feet from Jewel. The others and all of the adults were watching from the side.

“Okay Jewel, blast these targets with your staff.” Celesto stated.

“Yes, sir.” Jewel replied.

Jewel concentrated and the wolf spirit came out of the orb and slashed all the targets in half.

“Awesome!” cried Rainbow.

The wolf spirit howled and returned to the orb. Jewel fell to her knees, breathing heavily. Her friends came to her side, instantly.

“Jewel! Are you okay!?” Lightning asked.

“Yeah.” Jewel replied, having caught her breath, “I’m okay.”

“Excellent work, Jewel. I’ve monitored the energy being emitted every time you summon an animal spirit.” Twilight said. “It’s more powerful than the rangers Star Slammer!”

The rangers were amazed by this but Jewel was still looking down.

“Jewel, what’s wrong?” Sunset asked.

“I still can’t use the staff without barely passing out.” She complained, “I’ll never be able to fully use it in battle.”

The friends knew that she was very discouraged with this situation. “Yes you will Jewel. It just takes time.” Buddy replied.

“I agree,
You’ll master it in one, two, three.” Rhymey reassured.

Jewel smiled very at her friends. Suddenly the jewel on Celesto’s cane and the rangers morphers began to glow red, meaning there was danger a foot!

“What now?” Lightning asked. Vice-Principl Luna came running towards the group. “There’s a monster in the park!” She cried.

“Let’s go!” Sunset called. The others agreed and dashed off to the park.

The monster was trapping people in thick globs of jelly. It had a jelly-like body with thick arms and legs. His name was Stickster.

“”This is fun!” he cried.

“Fun’s over!” Stickster turned around and saw the rangers, morphed and ready to battle.

“Like moths to a light.” Stickster sneered.

“Let’s those people go now!” Lightning yelled.

“Never! Lingoes! Attack!” At his command an group of Lingoes came forth and charged the rangers. The ranger broke through the Lingoes, leaving them to Jewel while they fought Stickster.

They punched and kicked him, however, Stickster skillfully blocked every attack and punched them back.

“Eat this!” he called and laughed five separate globs of jelly at the rangers, trapping them.

“He’s got us!” cried Rainbow.

Lightning tried to wiggle out, “It’s too thick. I can’t move!”

Jewel defeated all the Lingoes and saw this.

“Oh no!” she cried.

Meanwhile at the base, Twilight and Spike saw everything on the monitors. “Now what?” Spike asked.

Twilight tried to send them a signal to their morphers but it failed, “That jelly is blocking the Able-Boost signal!” she cried. “Without it they can’t break free.”

“What about Jewel?” Krysta asked, “she’s still free.”

“Right but she can’t use he staff, it’s too risky.” Twilight stated.

“Let’s just wait and see what happens.” Celesto replied.

Stickster started to walk towards the rangers, preparing to the kill! “Say goodbye rangers!”

“What do we do?” Fluttershy whimpered.

Suddenly...

“Lion Spirit! Attack!” a ghostly lion came and slashed Stickster, sending him flying and it clawed the jelly, freeing the rangers.

“Mercy me,
We are free!” Rhymey cried.

“But how?” Buddy asked.

“Look!” Sunset cried, pointing at Jewel, who had her Animal Staff held high. “Lion Spirit! Return!” The lion spirit roared and returned by to the orb. Jewel fell to her knees again in exhaustion.

Stickster got up and snarled, “You’ll pay for that!” He launched a blob of jelly at Jewel.

“Oh,
No!” Rhymey cried.

“Jewel! Look out!” Rainbow cried.

Jewel looked up and tried to move, but using the staff made her too weak and was trapped in the jelly. The force made her drop her Animal Staff.

“NO!” Sunset cried.

“HAHAHAHA!” Stickster laughed. He approached the trapped ranger. “Now Let’s take you to the boss.”

“Get him!” Sunset called. The rangers rushed towards him but he teleported away with Jewel. Sunset walked over to Jewels Animal Staff and gripped it tightly.

Jewel knew that using the staff would make her vulnerable but she did it anyway and saved her friends but she wasn’t caught in the process. She basically sacrificed herself for her friends.

“Come on, let’s get to the base!” Lightning stated.

The others agreed and rushed to the jump-tube. Entering the base, Celesto greeted them. “Are you okay, rangers?”

“We’re okay sir, but we have to find Jewel and fast!” Lightning stated.

“Before that creep does who knows what to her.” Rainbow added.

“On it!” Twilight said. While Twilight tried to track Jewel, the others slienly prayed that she was okay.

Stickster had brought Jewel to the forest near Canterlot High, where Nacluv and his minione were. “Excellent work, Stickster!” Nacluv exclaimed.

“Thank you, master.” Stickster replied.

“Now we’ll finally get rid of this pest!” Marla added.

“Wait!” Nacluv said, “Why destroy her when we can just steal her magic and use it for ourselves?”

The minions and Stickster liked that idea, but Jewel didn’t.

Back at the base, Twilight was still attempting to track Jewel,

“Anything yet, Twilight?” Celesto asked.

“Not yet, sir.” She replied.

“Oooh. I hope she’s okay.” Fluttershy said.

“Don’t worry, we’ll find Jewel soon,
Before she meets her doom.” Rhymey reassured.

“I hope you’re right, buddy.” Lightning added.

“Guys! I found her!” Twilight cried.

“Where is she?” Rainbow asked.

“She’s at the forest near the school.” she replied.

“Come on guys, Let’s go get our friends back!” Rainbow stayed. Everybody cheered in agreement and headed towards the jump-tubes.

Jewel was still struggling to get out of the jelly while the villains chuckled. “You’re wasting your time, Animal Ranger.” Marla sneered.

“Time to take your magic. Keto.” Nacluv stated.

Keto nodded and approached Jewel. She gulped nervously, ”I’m doomed”

Suddenly, blasts came in, sending Keto flying back towards his comrades. “Who did that?” Nacluv bellowed.

The rangers landed in front of Jewel, “We did!” Sunset called.

The monster growled frustrated while Sunset blasted the jelly and set Jewel free. “Are you okay Jewel?” Lightning asked.

“I’m okay you guys.” Jewel replied.

“Thank goodness you’re safe.” Fluttershy added.

“AGH! Stickster get them!” Nacluv bellowed.

Stickster nodded and charged the rangers while Nacluv and the minions teleported back to Prison Tower.

Stickster skillfully blocked the rangers attacks and punched and blasted them. Jewel couldn’t morph because the jelly jammed her morpher.

”I’ve gotta help them, but what can I do?”

At the base, Twilight and Spike saw everything. “Not good. What do we do now?” Spike asked.

I don’t know what to do!” Twilight cried. Suddenly Jewel’s Animal Staff began to glow. “What going on with the staff?” Celesto asked.

Suddenly the staff rocketed off and out of the base. “It’s headig towards the battle!” Krysta said.

The rangers were all on the ground groaning in pain from Stickster’a attacks and Jewel could only watched helplessly.

The Animal Staff reached Jewel and she was surprised to see it.

””What’a my staff doing here?”

Suddenly the staff blasted a light brown beam to Jewel and she transformed; she grew a pair of tusks and her ears grew large and she got down on all fours and her skin turned thick. Her grew a large trunk and a thin tail with a turtle of hair on the end. Jewel had turned into an elephant!

Jewel trumpeted.

“Awesome!” Spike cried.

“HA! That new trick is no match for me!” Stickster sneered and launched theee blobs of jelly at Jewel. Amazingly, Jewel used her new trunk to bat them away from her. “What?!” Stickster added.

The rangers were amazed. “She just deflected them away!” Lightning cried.

With that, Stickster charged Jewel and she did the same. When they collided, Stickster went flying! Jewel trumpeted and raised her trunk and formed large rocks around her body. Launching them at Stickster, they exploded on impact!

However, before he could exploded...

“Keto!” Nacluv stated.

“Yes master, FORTISSIMO!” He launched his mugic to Mustic Island and made Stickster grow. “Let’s get sticky!”

Jewel trumpeted angering and transformed next into her normal self. She fell to her knees exhausted. “Easy Jewel.” Sunset said as she’s and the others came over to her. “Well take care of him.”

“Launch Star Jets.”

“Summon Zords!”

“Comet Striker, Armor up!” Lightning shouted as he grew big and his armor encased him.

”Jet Star Megazord… Ready!”

“Comet Striker… Ready!”

“HA! Stay still!” Stickster said and he launched two large blobs of jelly at the Zords, trapping them.

“He’s got us!” Rainbow cried. The rangers pounded the controls and Lightning shook to get out but nothing worked.

Jewel saw everything from the he ground. ”I’ve got to help them. But how?”

Suddenly, her bracelet began glowing and she heard a loud thumping sound behind her. Turning around she saw an light brown Elephant Zord walking towards her.

The Zord stopped in front of Jewel and rubbed its trunk against her. “Haha! Easy boy.” Jewel said. “Hey, do you think you cane help me?”

The Zord trumpeted loudly. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes’.” Jewel replied. “Let’s do it!”

The Zord beamed Jewel into the cockpit and she pushed the controls forward.

Meanwhile, Stickster was approaching the trapped zords. “Time to end you rangers. he said.

“What do we do?” Fluttershy whimpered. Just as Stickster was about to blast them, a brown blur rammed him away from them. “Argh! Who did that!?” he demanded.

That’s when everybody was the elephant Zord standing in front of the trapped Zords. “We did!” Jewel called.

“Jewel got a new Zord!” Rainbow cried. “No fair.”

Stickster just laughed at the Zord. “That tin can is no match for me.” He launched multiple jelly blobs at the Zord but batted them away with its trunk causing them to harmless land in the ocean.

“Now, ACCELAROCK!” the Zord glowed White and charged Stickster with a lot of power sending him to the ground.

The Zord then went to the trapped zords. “Don’t worry guys, I’ll get you out of there.” She pushed a button and the Zord began sucking up all the jelly, freeing the Comet Striker and Jet-Star Megazord.

“Alright Jewel!” Buddy called.

“Now let’s finish him!” Jewel added. Stickster whimpered at the sight of the thre zords. Prepare for Star Blast Wave! Charging up…!”

The zord’s chest armor, arms and head all glowed brightly as pulsing flashes appeared.

“Energy Charge, Ready!”

”ULTIMATE EARTH!”

The elephant zord trumpeted and began charging Stickster.

“Whoa! Hey! You can’t do this to me!” cried Stickster

“Oh, yes the can…” hollered Lightning, “Do it, guys!”

With the energy systems charged, the rangers all shouted together,“STAR BLAST WAVE… FIRE!!”and at once… POW… the zord fired four major streams of energy combining it all into one big golden wave of power that coated the Zord, increasing its power ten-fold!

The Zord rammed Stickster, he exploded, shrank down and was captured in a sphere. “Monster Captured! Mission Complete!” Sunset declared. The Elephant Zord trumpeted in victory.

Back at the tower, Nacluv and the minions were outraged. “She got a new Zord and she defeated out monster! AGH!” Marla yelled.

“We’ve got to get rid of her!” Bronc growled.

“But how? She keeps getting more powerful.” Keto added. Nacluv began chuckling evilly. “What is it master?”

“I’ve just came up with the perfect plan to destory that Animal Ranger.” he said.

When the rangers got back to base with their catch, they were so excited about the new animal zord and how it would serve them well.

“With that big bad boy, Nacluv doesn’t stand a chance now.” Rainbow said cockily.

“Oh, I wouldn’t say that entirely…” said Buddy “Much as I hate to say it, even Nacluv could be capable of finding ways to get at us. That’s why he doesn’t give up.”

The others all agreed, and promised to keep ever vigil for further attacks! “That new zord of yours Jewel, ROCKS!” Spike stated.

“Yeah!” Rainbow added. Jewel lightly blushed. “Hehe. Thanks.”

“Now with this new Zord we are one step closer to defeating Nacluv and his minions.” Celesto said. All the rangers nodded.

Now with four zords, Jewel was becoming a true power ranger.

Episode 13: Jewel and the Sleepless Night

You’d think that summer vacation was a time for relaxing and enjoying life. Only half-correct…!

The rangers still had their hard days at work, and some were studying for college and all that stuff, and that combined with their ranger duties was pretty exhausting stuff.

One morning, the rangers all met up at the park where Twilight had invited them on a picnic with her brother, her sister-in-law, and Spike.

“Hey there…!” Shining Armor called, but he suddenly retracted his pleasantry when he noticed how beat the gang looked. Everyone looked tired, frazzled, as if they wanted to fall over any moment. “What happened to all of you?” Twilight asked.

Sunset let out a yawn, “We’re just tired.”

“I had to work two whole shifts last night.” said Rainbow “One of the delivery-boys called in wanting to take a Saturday night off and the manager just let him. So I covered his route.”

“I had to cover up the entire community-garden.” said Buddy “The weather was calling for rain last night, and we don’t like our plants to get overwatered.”

Cadance raised an eyebrow, “But it didn’t rain last night. Not a drop.”

“I know!” groaned Buddy “Don’t the weathermen ever get it right?”

Rhymey stretched out and said,

“Well, the weather was just great,
Fluttershy and I went on a date.”

His girlfriend nodded, “We went to the movies, then out for a pizza, and a romantic stroll here in the park.” Everyone awed at how romantic that sounded, “…But we lost track of time, and we didn’t get home until late. We didn’t mean to do it, and our parents understood.”

Still all the rangers felt like coming out on the picnic, feeling the fresh air would do them all good. “I slept like a baby last night.” said Twilight “I was studying for college, and then suddenly I just felt heavy like a rock and I went out like a light.”

“Yeah, thanks to the sleeping powder in your water.” Spike blurted. Shining Armor and Cadance tried to hush him, but he already said it! “Sleeping powder?” Twilight asked, looking at her relatives in shock, “You two drugged me?”

“Well… um… yeah.” Cadance confessed “Look don’t get us wrong, we know you love your studies, but you need your sleep too. I hate I when you pull those all-nighters, and your.”

Shining Armor chuckled, “One time, she was so tired she left her dorm room in her PJs.”

The others couldn’t help but chuckle at that, but Twilight sneered sourly, “Believe me, it was far from amusing.”

“Jewel, how come you’re not exhausted?” Shining Armor asked.

“I don’t know.” she replied.

“It may have something to do with the fact that you weren’t raised by wolves which are active during the day and night. But they sleep for like hours at a time.” Sunset stated. Everybody agreed with that theory.

Still, the rangers soon began to feel more awake after lunch, and playing in the field, unaware that Marla was watching them from within a high tree. “Play now while you can, Rangers. Once my plan is put into action, you’ll be history.”

She snickered and vanished.

By the end of such a lovely day, the sun was beginning to set and everyone felt tired enough to sleep for a week.

“This has been such a nice day.” said Fluttershy, “I really like spending time with all of you.”

“You do?
Me too.” said Rhymey, but then he let out a big yawn.

“I think we all should get home.” said Buddy. Rainbow stretched out and said “I’ll sleep like ten logs tonight.”

The friends bid each other good night, and they all walked their separate ways.

Spike was already super tired, and Twilight scooped him up in her arms.

As it got darker and the stars came out, Marla stood atop a high-rise deep in town. “This is it…” she hissed, “Are you ready, Sandy?”

Next to her, stood a female, humanoid monster dressed in a purple robe with black stars all around it, a wizard’s, and long black hair. She looked more sinister than charming.

“I’m all set.” she hissed, and she grabbed a large pouch of magic sand. “This sand, when spread out all over town will cast a magical spell that will keep all the humans wide-awake. They won’t be able to sleep even if they want to.”

Marla snickered, “And of course if the humans don’t sleep, they’ll fall into chaos all over, and the rangers… they won’t be able to throw a punch, let alone stand in battle. Do it, Sandy!”

Sandy nodded and leapt high up, floating on a dark cloud, “Wakey-Wake humans.” She snickered as she poured her cursed sand through the air.

The people of course, didn’t suspect a thing, and yet as the night continued, those whom had gone to bed were tossing, turning, pounding their pillows, readjusting their bedsheets. Some even tried sleeping facing the wrong way-- with their feet at the head of the bed and their heads at the other end...

…But no matter how hard they tried, they just couldn’t seem to fall asleep. Regardless of how sleepy they felt, it was no use. Everyone just remained wide awake, right up until daylight.

Twilight’s radio-clock went off at eight in the morning, and the reporter spoke in a very groggy voice. “Good morning… at to some of you if you managed to sleep… and… oh, heck with it…”

That’s when Twilight pounded the snooze button as she lay flat on her bed, with her eyes wide open and looking very red with bags under her rims. Spike lay at the foot of her bed, and he looked just as baggy-eyed as she did.

He tried to stand up, but he felt so floppy and wobbly that he fell right off the bed. “Spike…!” Twilight groaned as she turned to look over the bed to see her little dog flat on the floor. “I’m so tired right now, that didn’t even hurt!” he groaned.

Twilight then heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen, which snapped her upright softly, and she found a few seconds of strength to rush downstairs. There, she found Cadance attempting to make breakfast for everyone, but she seemed to be a little backwards-- putting a plate in the toaster. Pouring coffee into a potted plant, and all she did was pick up one spoon, and she actually keeled over forward as if her weight had become unbalanced. “I can’t sleep!” she groaned.

Shining Armor was sitting at the table with a newspaper in front of his face, and he let it fall down over the table revealing that he, too, was as weary and baggy-eyed as everyone else.

“How could we all not have slept well?” groaned Twilight.

“I don’t know!” said her brother, “I just couldn’t keep my eyes shut! Even the sleep powder I took didn’t work, and I took three whole dosages.”

Cadance struggled to her feet, “You took that much?!”

Her husband nodded, “And I didn’t sleep a wink.”

Twilight and her family weren’t the only ones in this state; all over town people were baggy-eyed, grumpy and not quite themselves; unable to concentrate due to lack of rest. People were late for work, barely able to bring themselves to walk forward, and people who were driving, ended up crashing their cars into one another, causing traffic pile ups in the streets and loads of delays.

Unfortunately, even some of the police and paramedics were exhausted from lack of sleep, and it was very hard for them to help anyone. However, not everyone in the city was completely exhausted. Those who worked very late at night were still naturally awake, including more paramedics and police and all that, and they were able to help, but even they wouldn’t be up and about for good. They usually went home to sleep in the morning after a long night’s work, but they, too, would soon find themselves unable to rest and be just like everyone else.

..Celesto was among them. He had been working very late, but he didn’t seem too tired yet. He looked down from his office complex, and he began to have a sneaky suspicion. “I’ve got to get to get to the rangers.” He said to his driver, but unfortunately, the driver was too tired to see straight, and of course with the roads all blocked off due to the many accidents, “Um… maybe I’ll just walk.”

“Very… good… siiiiiiiiiir.” The driver groaned and he collapsed over the steering-wheel, right on top of the horn. Celesto moved him off the horn before getting out of the car and heading off.

As he walked along town, he looked all over at all the many people whom were getting grouchier, and falling into more misfortune due to weariness, “This can’t be an act of nature.” he said to himself “This has “evil” written all over it!”

He let out a huge yawn, and he quickly reached into jacket pocket and pulled out a simple bottle of pills. He popped one in his mouth and let it dissolve on his tongue. Within moments, he felt a little better, but he had to hurry and round up the rangers fast.

By using the jump-tube system, he was able to get all over town, and round up each ranger, one-by-one form their respective homes and get them to the base.

He also brought Twilight and her family, as well his own. All of them were suffering from the same problem.

“I hardly got any rest time,
I’m almost too tired to even rhyme!” groaned Rhymey.

Rainbow moaned as she held her head, “I feel like I’ve been to three whole rock-concerts.”

Buddy yawned, “I was so bushed that even a real bush looked more rested than me!”

“What’s wrong with all of us?” cried Fluttershy “Why can’t we sleep?”

“When you find out… fix it!” grumbled Sunset.

Twilight and her family looked ready to pass out, but still they couldn’t.

Baby Castor and Leilani were fussing about. They were groaning softly, too tried to cry; which spared everyone even bigger headaches than they already had.

Celestia herself was also very exhausted, “I was up all night with them.” she groaned, “They couldn’t sleep. Even I couldn’t sleep.”

Luna let out a huge yawn, “None of the house staff got their rest either.”

Celesto got out a small alien scanning device, and held it over Celestia’s face. “I knew it…!” he said. His wife groggily looked up at him, “Celestia, you’re covered in some kind of alien compound.”

“What…?” groaned Celestia, but her husband then scanned everyone, and surely enough they were all covered in the same substance. He even scanned himself and found that he, too, was covered in it.

He fed the information into the computer. “It’s a kind of sand that seems to be affecting our central-nervous-systems. No matter how tired we get, we won’t be able to sleep even if we want to.”

“Can’t we just wash it off?” asked Spike “You know, take a bath? I can’t believe I just said that.”

Celesto ran a simulation test, but to his dismay, “Whatever this stuff is, it effects as well as outside. Washing it will have no effect at all.”

Everyone, although still groggy and fatigued, understood everything. It took no skill for them to understand this was the work of their enemy. “If we’re not well-rested, we don’t stand much of a chance in a fight, do we?” said Sunset. Suddenly, everybody heard whistling which gave them bigger headaches. “What is that?” snapped Shining Armor.

They saw Jewel came into the base, but unlike her friends, she looked fully rested.

“Morning everybody.” She took back her pleasantry when she saw the gang with raccoon eyes. “GAH! What happened to all of you?” Jewel asked. “You all look like zombies!”

“Thanks.” grumbled Sunset.

“How come you’re not looking ready to pass out like the rest of us?” Rainbow asked. Unlike the others, Jewel didn’t have bags under eyes or looked exhausted for some reason.

Celesto scanned Jewel’s face and discovered something shocking! “Jewel, you’re not covered in any alien compound like the rest of us.”

Hearing that made everybody shocked.

“But how can that be? That sand spread throughout the whole city!” Spike asked.

“I don’t know? All I know is that my Animal staff was in front of me as well as a yellow dome around me.” Jewel explained.

“A yellow dome?” Celesto asked.

“Yeah.” Jewel added.

“It sounds like the Animal Staff detected the sand before it reached Jewel and made a shield around her, protecting her from the sand.” Twilight theorized.

“It seems like it.” Celestia said.

“Lucky.” grumbled Sunset. Everybody else agreed. Celesto looked at the monitors and saw Sandy on a high rise. “Now that everybody’s awake, come on out rangers!” She called and she began blasting into the street. The people were too tired to even run.

Celesto’s fist clenched in anger,but then he himself began to feel a little weary. So, he popped another one of his special pills, while the rangers were all struggling to get up. “We’ve… gotta go… out there.” said Buddy.

Fluttershy nearly fell off her feet, but caught the chair to balance her, “We can’t! We can barely stand, let alone stand to fight.”

“You guys take it easy. I’ll take care of them.” Jewel said.

“By yourself?!” Sunset cried.

“I’ll be fine.” Jewel reassured.

“But there’s too many of them. You’ll be outnumbered.” Rainbow stated.

“But you guys can’t fight in your condition. I have to do this.” Jewel replied.

As skeptical as the rangers were, letting their newbie battle alone, Jewel had a point. She was the only one well rested and strong enough to beat them. “Just be careful Jewel.” Celesto cautioned. Jewel nodded. “You can count on me!” and he sent her through the jump tubes.

While in town, more and more people were collapsing from being overly exhausted, and still they could not rest. While Sandy, accompanied by Marla and a squad of Lingos were still causing havoc, blasting up the streets, blowing up empty cars, knocking over lampposts, and taking a few shots at some of the buildings blowing small chunks out of them.

“Where are those rangers?!” sneered Marla. “Yeah, it’s way past their waking time.” added Sandy, and suddenly, Jewel appeared, already morphed.

“And it’s past you’re bedtime!” she called.

“Oh Pu-lease you’ll be out like a light.” Marla sneered.

“Except I won’t! Your sand didn’t cover me like it did my friends.” Jewel replied. Marla and Sandy were shocked and outraged hearing that. “What! How did you escape my sand!” Sandy asked.

“That’s for me to know and you to never find out!” Jewel replied. Sandy and Marla growled and ordered the Liongoes to attack. Jewel charged and easily punched and kicked all the Lingoes. She made her way to Marla and Sandy, both of them kicked and punched Jewel. Ugh she blocked them and punched them back.

Jewel then held out her Animal Staff and yelled, “Wolf Spirit, Arise!”

The wolf spirit came out of the orb and slashed the two ladies, sending them flying. Marla got up, “Ugh. You’re on your own now, I’m out.” She teleported away.

“Hey! Don’t leave me here!” Sandy cried. The wolf spirit rammed Sandy. “Now buddy, final move!” Jewel called. Wolf Spirit blasted Sandy hard and she fell to the ground and exploded. Wolf Spiritbreturbed to the staff and Jewel fell to her knees, panting hard.

Nacluv and the others saw this, “Keto.” he called.

Keto nodded and got into his stool and pointed his staff out the window, “FORTISSIMO!” he launched is mugic out the window and fight to Mystic Island and it hit Sandy making her grow large.

“It time for bed.” She bellowed.

The gang at the base saw everything, “Great.” grumbled Shining Armor.

“Don’t worry, Jewel can handle this.” Sunset reassured.

After catching her breath, “Summon Wolf Zord!” Jewel called, holding her staff to the sky. Wolf Zord burst out of the valley ground and dashed towards the battle.

Jewel was beamed into the cockpit. “Alright, Let’s do this!” The Zord growled and charged Sandy, “Eat this you mutt!” Sandy created a large sandstorm causing the Zord and Jewel to lose sight of her.

”Where’d she go?”

Suddenly, Sandy dashed out of the sand and rammed repeatedly Wolf Zord, rocking Jewel about.

The others saw this on the monitors and knew that Jewel was in big trouble! “We’ve got to do something!” Rainbow yawned.

“But what?” Fluttershy added groggily. Even through her watery eyesight, Twilight could see something on the radar heading towards the battle. “Guys, there’s something unknown heading right towards Jewel.” she said.

The others came and looked and saw a free blip on the radar. “What is it?” Celesto asked.

“No idea.” Twilight said.

Back at the battle, Wolf Zord and Jewel were taking a beating, “Ugh! Hang in there Wolf Zord.”

Wolf Zord growled softly while Sandy laughed maliciously. “It’s time for your bedtime, Animal Ranger.” Suddenly, a blur rushed by Sandy, striking her hard. “Agh! What was that?”

“Hoo hoo.” Jewel saw a light blue Owl Zord. The Zord’s wings had black tips on the end and yellow legs with black talons.

“Woah.” she gasped.

The Zord flew into the air and began flapping its wings really fast creating large wind currents that blew away the sand, revealing Sandy.

“Found you! EMERALD GRADEN!” Wolf Zord opened its mouth and a green ball of energy came out. It launched it at Sandy and when it hit her she felt her energy being drained.

“What.... is this?” She asked.

“Now, ULTIMATE LEAF!”

Wolf Zord surrounded itself in leaves and its energy levels rose up. It charged Sandy and made direct contact. Sandy went flying, “Time for my bedtime!” she cried and she exploded and was imprisoned in a capture sphere.

“Monster Captured Mission Complete!” She declared. With Sandy gone, her sand fell off of the humans and everybody in the city fell into a well deserved sleep, including her friends, who had collapsed in the base as soon as the sand came off of them.

“Now let’s fix this city.” Jewel said to herself.

It was sundown by the time the people woke up, feeling it better.

The rangers and the others came to in the base. “Looks like Jewel did it.” Celesto said.

“She sure did.” Rainbow said, “I feel totally rested.”

“Where is Jewel anyway?” Buddy asked.

“Here I am.” Everybody turned and saw Jewel and they gasped; she was a wreck! Her hair was all over the place, she had oil and scratches all over her body and clothes and she had serious bags underneath her eyes, which were half opened.

“Oh my goodness!” Fluttershy cried. “Jewel, what happened?”

“I’ve been fixing all the damage done to the city, accidents and road blocks, you know things like that.” Jewel replied with a yawn. Celesto looked on the monitors. It was true! Jewel had fixed everything. The roads were unblocked and the damage done by the monsters were fully repaired. Everybody was shocked. “You did that all by yourself!” Sunset cried. “At Night!”

Jewel nodded and yawned. “No wonder you look exhausted.” Lightning added.

Jewel yawned deeply. “It was worth it.” Just then, her nose began twitching “a-a-achoo.”

“Uh-oh.” Everybody said. Jewel sneezed again and coughed. Her nose suddenly turned red. Celestia came up and felt Jewel’s forehead. She had a fever. “Looks like somebody caught a cold from working all night.” Celestia said. Jewel sneezed and coughed again. “Let’s get you to bed Jewel.” Luna suggested. Everybody agreed and they all took Jewel into the mansion and into one of the guest bedrooms.

Jewel managed to take a shower to clean herself off and put her pj’s on. She crawled into bed and covered herself up to her neck.

“I’ll go get you some medicine.” Fluttershy said.

“*Sniffle* Thanks.” Jewel replied in a groggily, congested voice. Then, Fluttershy left the room and went to get the medicine. “You know Jewel, you didn’t have to do that.” Buddy said.

“Sniffle... well I didn’t want you guys to wake up to a wrecked city.”

“But working all night?” Lightning stated. “I’m used to being up all night.” Jewel added. The friends just sighed and smiled at their friend. That’s when Fluttershy came back with the cold medicine. She poured a spoonful of it and fed it too Jewel. “Thanks.”

“Now get some rest Jewel.” Principal Celestia stated. “Okay.” With that, Jewel was out like a light. The rangers and the others exited the room, leaving Jewel to a peaceful sleep.

Episode 14: First Christmas

Snow was covering the ground and people were out decorating their houses for Christmas. A time where friends and family gather together and celebrate. School was out for the students and the rangers were all in the base discussing what they wrre doing for the holidays.

“My mom’s making some turkey for the holidays.” Sunset said.

“My mom is too.” Rainbow stated.

As they were discussing, Jewel came over to the gang, “Hey Jewel.” Rainbow called. “What are you doing for Christmas?” Sunset asked.

Jewel tilted her head and asked “What’s Christmas?”

The rangers, Twilight, Spike, Krysta and Celesto all gasped in shock. “How could you not know what Christmas is?!” Twilight asked.

“Raised by wolves for all of my life.” Jewel replied rhetorically.

“Riiiiiiight.” Twilight replied.

“Well Christmas is when family and friends come together and celebrate.” Celesto explained.

Hearing this, Jewel thought that Christmas was pretty nice but she was sad because of the fact that she didn’t have a family anymore.

“Oh... that’s... cool.” She said with a sad smile.

“Hey are you okay?” Buddy asked.

“Yeah... I’m fine. I’ll just... leave. See ya guys.” Jewel said and she left through the jump tube.

After she left, the rangers felt confused. “What went on with Jewel?” Rainbow asked.

“I don’t know. She was just happy and then she was sad.” Fluttershy said.

“”But why?” Sunset asked.

“Well all you said was Christmas is about family... and friends.” Sunset said and as soon as she did she gasped.

“What wrong?” Lightning asked.

“I think I know why Jewel is sad.” Sunset replied. “She doesn’t have a family.”

That made everybody’s brains click. When Jewel left her wolf pack, she was all alone for a year and now she had nobody to celebrate with.

“Not having a family anymore,
That’s why Jewel’s heart is sore.” Rhymey said.

“But what can we do to change that?” Spike asked.

Everybody thought long and hard until Twilight came up with a perfect plan. “I’ve got it!”

“What? What is it’s Twilight?” Celesto asked.

Twilight told everybody her plan. “That’s prefect!” Lightning cried.

“Excellent!” Sunset said.

“Alright guys, Let’s do this!” Buddy said. Everybody cheered and went off to get everything ready.

The next morning, it was Christmas morning. Jewel woke up and stretched. She looked out the window and looked sad.

Her friends will be spending this joyful day with their families today and she would be all alone. Jewel sighed and got out of bed whiter she was greeted by her Rockruff. “Hey girl.” she greeted sadly.

Rockruff could sense that her friend was sad and nuzzled her leg. “I’m okay girl, I’ll just be a little lonely today that’s all.”

Rockruff whimpered.

Jewel sighed again and went into the bathroom, took and shower and put her clothes on. From there, she walked down stair into the living room, which she noticed was surprisingly dark for some reason.

”Where is everybody?”

Suddenly, the lights flashed on and all of Jewel’s friends and their parents popped out and shouted, “SURPRISE! MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

Jewel face lit up with excitement, the whole room was decorated in Christmas decorations, even a large Christmas tree was in the corner of then room littered with presents.

“Wh-What is all this?” Jewel asked.

Pinkie dashed up to her, “It’s your Christmas party silly billy.” She said. “We made this for you.”

“Really?!” Jewel replied. Applejack came up to her, “Really sugarcube. We all got together to give the best first christmas.”

Jewel felt her eyes filling up with tears. “Aww guys.” Pinkie came out of nowhere and yelled, “LET’S PARTY!”

The Christmas party was in full swing! Everybody dancing to christmas music and just plain taking to one another. When it was time to open presents, everybody as really excited. Though most of the presents were for Jewel.

She got a purple fedora with a yellow stripe from Rarity, new sneakers from Sunset and Rainbow. The boys got Jewel and holder for her staff whenever she carried it around. And Celesto and Celestia got Jewel something extra special.

“Jewel... me, Luna and Celestia have been talking and we wanted to ask you something.” Celesto started.

“What is it?” Jewel asked.

“... Would you let me and Celestia.... adopt you?” Celesto offered. Everybody gasped in excitement and shock. “A-Adopt me?” Jewel whispered.

“We want to give you a family to really call your own and since you’ve considered us your family. We want to make it official.” Luna added.

Jewel didn’t say anything for a moment. The rangers and their friend Allan watched with anticipation. Suddenly Jewel rushed over to the couple and shouted. “YES!”

The whole room exploded with cheers and whistles. Celestia and Celesto hugged their new daughter, Jewel while she was shedding tears of utter most joy.

Now Jewel has a full fledged family, one that she thought she had lost a year ago. Luna brought forth the adoption papers and the two signed it. The girls were shedding tears of joy and happiness for Jewel.

The rest of the night, Jewel could only think of one thing, ”Best Christmas Ever”

Episode 15: Jewel’s Dragon and Dinosaur Dilemma

One bright Saturday morning, Jewel was walking through the park watching as people played and went on with their normal business. Her friends were at the base, catching up on some homework. She took a deep breath and sighed lovely.

Just then, she heard a small, “Tiniiiiii!”

“What was that?” Jewel asked herself. “Dratiniii!” Jewel had pinpointed the little squeaks to a bush. She pulled the brush apart and saw a five foot and eleven inches high, serpentine Pokémon with a blue body and a white underside. It has white, three-pronged fins on the sides of its head and a white bump on its forehead. Above its large, round, white snout are oval, purple eyes.

“Awww.” Jewel cooed, seeing the little dragon-type pokémon. The Dratini looked at Jewel with big fearful eyes and recoiled Athens sight of her. “Dra, Dratini.” It squeaked.

“It’s okay. I wont hurt you.” Jewel reassured. Hearing the comfort in her voice, the Dratini slowly began to scoot over to her. It reached Jewel’s outstretched hand and rubbed against it. Trust has been established.

The Dratini then slithered up her arm and coiled around it and nuzzled her arm. “You are so adorable.” Jewel squeaked. “You’re coming with me.”

Dratini squeaked. “Tini.”

Jewel smiled at the little thing and took it to the mansion. In the mansion, the rangers were training to keep their strength and speed up. They sparred with one another, ran through and obstacle course and ran with large bottles of water on their backs to increase their agility.

“Hey, where’s Jewel?” Lightning asked after finishing sparring with Sunset. “She should have been here by now.”

The others came over just as the front door opened. “There you a-“. Rainbow started but she stopped when she saw the little snake in Jewel’s arms. “Ummm. Jewel, what’s a snake doing in your arms?”

“Oh, this little fella isn’t a snake it’s a Dratini.” The others looked confused. “A what?” Spike asked.

“A Dratini it’s a dragon-type pokémon.” Jewel replied. Dratini called a greeting to the rangers in its cute little voice. “Dratini.”

Fluttershy aww’d at the little guy. “It’s so cute.”

Then Celesto, Luna and Celestia came in with babies. Dratini noticed the babies and kept from Jewel’s arms and slithered over to the family. “What’s this little thing?” Celestia asked.

“Dratini, my new friend.” Jewel replied. Dratini slithered up Celestia’s pants and shirt and made its way to Leilani in her arms. The baby cooed at the sight of the little guy. Dratini nuzzled Leilani, causing her to giggle. Castor whined and Dratini heard it. It then hopped over to Celesto’s arms and nuzzled Castor as well promoting the same response.

“I think the babies like Dratini.” Lightning said. The parents only smiled at the cute scene. “We think so too.”

That morning, Jewel took Dratini to the park. She was holding her in her arms. “You Like this don’t you Dratini?” Jewel asked.

“Tini Dra!” Dratini crowd happily. Jewel google at her friend. They say in the parks’ gazebo.

Dratini’s eyes sparkled at all the people playing in park. Jewel rubbed it head making it squeal in happiness.

Everything was perfect.... until....

“AAAAAAHHHHH!” Jewel heard a lot of people screaming and running away and soon she saw why. There was a huge dinosaur coming into the park. “A Pachycephalosaurus!”

The dinosaurs head was glowing rainbow colors. It set its sights on Jewel! That’s when the rangers arrived and saw the dinosaur.

“Jewel! Get out of here!” Lightning cried. The Pachycephalosaurus walked up to Jewel and moved it head underneath Jewel and flung her into the air and onto its back. The Pachycephalosaurus roared and dashed off into the city. “WOOOOAAAAH!!!” Jewel exclaimed.

“Jewel!” Sunset cried.

“After it!” Rainbow added. The rangers rushed after the dinosaur and the found it downtown. “Hey you!” Buddy yelled. “Give ya back our friend!”

The Pachycephalosaurus didn’t listen and instead roared softly and then five more dinosaurs came into the scene. Twilight and the others saw this from the base. “Wow! A Kentrosaurus, Saurophaganax, Iguanodon, Utahraptor and a Ampelosaurus!” Twilight cried in excitement. Celesto, Spike and Krysta glared at her. “Umm. Despite the problem it processes.”

The rangers all morphed. “STARFLEET MAGIC... POWER ON!”

Before the rangers could even charge forth, the Iguandon reared up and leaves swirled around it. It made a ball of grass energy and launched it at the rangers the ball hit then and they immediately felt very woozy. “What... going... on?” Rainbow groaned.

“I... feel... like I’m.... gonna... fall.” Lightning said and the rangers all collapsed on the ground and they suits powered down.

“IT TOOK THEM OUT IN ONE MOVE?!” Spike cried.

“IMPOSSIBLE!” Twilight added. The dinosaurs then just ran away.

What they didn’t know was that Nacluv and the minions were hiding not too far away and saw everything. “Those animals are powerful. Taking the rangers out in one attack.” Keto said.

“We could use powerful creature like them.” Bronc added.

“They would be a whole lot better than you three bumbling idiots.” Nacluv grumbled. The minions took offense to that!

“So let’s get them.” Keto added. The villains laughed and disappeared.

Meanwhile the rangers began to awoke and found themselves in the base. “What happened?” Rainbow asked.

“Twilight brought you guys back here.” Celesto said as he came into the room. “What’s the deal with those dinosaurs?” Buddy asked.

“That Igunadon took us out with one move!” Sunset added. “That’s strong!” Then Jewel called in from where he was.

“Rangers, come in!”

Celesto switched over to video, and everyone could see Jewel on the screens. “Jewel are you alright?”

“Yeah I’m okay. The dinosaurs are really nice and sweet.” Jewel replied.

“Says the one who didn’t get attacked by one.” Rainbow grumbled.

“Jewel, do you know the move that Iguanadon used on us?” Sunset asked.

“That’s called Emerald Garden. It basically sucks all the energy out of the opponent.” Jewel explained.

“Yea. Kinda figured that out already.” Buddy said. Jewel smiled nervously. “So now what?” Lightning asked. “We got to get Jewel back but those dinosaurs won’t let us anywhere near her.”

“Maybe you guys could trick them?” Spike suggested.

ROAR! “Ummm.... Saurophaganax said ‘don’t try that unless you wanna get a Magma Blaster to the face.”

“Magma what?” Rainbow asked.

Jewel showed them a video of Magma Blaste rain action.

And you can bet after seeing that the rangers and everybody else was horrified. “Please tell me that’s a lie!” Sunset squeaked. Jewel shook her head. “Okay.... so tricking them is not an opinion unless you wanna risk being cooked.” Krysta said.

“So what do we do?” Fluttershy asked.

“Maybe try to befriend them?” Buddy suggested.

“No way!” Rainbow cried. “After what they did!”

“Actually, it’s not a bad idea.” Jewel said. “If you just show the dinosaurs your friends instead of enemies maybe they’ll be friendly towards you instead of attacking you.”

“That might you but what can do?” Lightning asked. Suddenly, a sinister laugh was heard. “So these are the creatures who beat the pesky rangers.”

“Marla, Bronc, Keto!” Jewel cried.

“Give is those creatures!” Keto demanded.

“Never!”

“Well then we’ll just have to take them by force!” Bronc said. “Robotic Knight!”

The robo Knight suddenly appeared. The dinosaurs roared at it. Kentrosaurus charged it and swung its tail, piercing right through the armor! “Impossible!” Bronc cried.

Kentrosaurus flung it high into the air and Saurophaganax unleashed Magma Blaster and he blasted the not and disintegrated it! “Unbelievable!” Celesto cried.

“They sent him to the scrap-heap in two moves!” Spike added. The dinosaurs roared in victory while the minions grunted in defeat and teleported back to the tower. Jewel dismounted the Pachycephalosaurus and they all roared and glowed in their element colors and turned back into cards, which landed in Jewel’s hands. ”Don’t worry I’ll take good care of you.” Jewel promised.

Jewel safely made it back to base, much to the relief of her friends. “We’re so glad you alright.” Sunset said.

Professor Brain and the lab boys were analyzing the cards Jewel brought back. “What have you got in the cards Professor?” Celesto asked.

“It appears that the cards carry some spiritual essence of the dinosaurs they show. Also they seem to be connected to Jewel’s animal staff.”

“They are?” Lightning stated. “How?”

“Well... form what we’ve gathered. The cards can be activated by Jewel swiping them across the top of her staff.” Brain explained. Everybody was surprised and amazed by this new information.

“To play it safe, we’ll leave the dinosaurs here.” Celesto added. Everybody agreed with that. Dratini cried happily in Jewel’s arms. Jewel rubbed the little dragon-types head. Then both Jewel and Dratini yawned. “Sounds like somebody needs some rest.” Buddy teased.

“Yeah. I sure could use some right now.” Jewel replied. “Come on, let’s get you to the mansion.” Celesto stated. Everybody smiled a smile he lead Jewel and Dratini to the entrance for some rest after their long day.

Episode 16: Tiger Shark Problems

The rangers were in the base and Professor Brain was scanning the dinosaur cards that Jewel got yesterday and her animal staff. “So what you have Professor?” Celesto asked.

“Well, sir, the cards and the staff seem to go together like a puzzle. Jewel can swipe the card over the correct color gem and the dinosaur will be activated.” Professor Brain stated. The rangers were amazed by this. “So can she’s use them in battle?” Sunset asked.

“Indeed. She can summon the dinosaurs to battle monster or Robotic Knights like we saw yesterday.”

“Awesome!” Rainbow cried.

“Looks like Jewel’s getting all kinds of animal friends now.” Lightning commented. The others agreed. Just then, Twilight Cave into the lab. “Guys! I found something on the radar.”

The rangers looked at each other in concern and they all went to the main room. Twilight showed the item on the radar; it looked like a metallic blue shark. “What is that?” Buddy asked.

“Looks like a Tiger Shark.” Sunset said.

“But they never grow that big and they are not metal.” Fluttershy replied.

“Maybe it’s a Tiger Shark Zord.” Jewel said. Twilight scanned the item. “I think you’re right Jewel.” Twilight further scanned it and discovered something disturbing. “Uh-oh.”

“What is its Twilight?” Celesto asked.

“It says here that the Zord is untamed and completely wild!”

“Well duh, it’s a shark.” Rainbow grumbled.

“It’s not that simple. Unlike the last zords Jewel’s befriended, an untamed Zord may go crazy and randomly attack something or someone.” Twilight replied. The rangers all gasped in shock. “Well, What do we do?” Jewel asked.

“The only way is for one of you to tame the Zord, so that it doesn’t attack anyone.” Twilight replied. “But who can do that?” Buddy asked. Everybody turned to Jewel. “Me?”

“You’re the only one who has a chance at befriending that thing.” Rainbow stated.

“Yeah but-“

“And you befriended many zords already.” Buddy asked. Jewel rubbed her arm with a really nervous look on her face.

“Don’t worry Jewel, nothing will go wrong,
Things will go right along.” Rhymey reassured. Jewel looked between the rangers and the Tiger Shark Zord. She sighed and said. “Okay. I’ll do it.”

The rangers cheered. “Then let’s get you prepared.” Celesto stated.

Meanwhile, at the Prison Tower, Nacluv and the minions saw the Tiger Shark Zord too. “We need that Zord.” Nacluv stated. “With that kind of power the rangers won’t stand a chance against us.”

The minions liked the sound of that. “I’ve already selected a monster to help you.” Nacluv added. “Whirlpool!” The creature appeared. His face was a wave and his body was blue and in a water shape style. he had a wand in his hands that allowed him to control water currents, making big waves and storms.

“Whirlpool, at your service.” he said. “Those rangers paint know what hit them.” Nacluv smiled. “Now go get that zord!” he ordered. His minions and Whirlpool nodded and teleported to Mystic Island.

Back at the ocean, Jewel was in her dolphin zord, looking for any sign of the Tiger Shark Zord. “Guys... I have a band feeling about this.” she said. The rangers contacted her via radio. “Don’t worry, we’re tracking you, so if anything happens will know right away.” Celesto reassured. That made Jewel fell a little better.

Then, Jewel’s radar beeped and she saw a blue blimp. “Guys, What’s that blue blimp?” she asked. “It may be the Zord.” Lightning said.

“Got check it out Jewel.” Celesto stated. Jewel complied and steered her Dolphin Zord to the blimp. When she reached the blimp her question was answered. “I found the Zord.”

The Tiger Shark Zord was blue with black stripes running down its back. It’s fine we’re also blue with white tips at the end, same went to its tail. It’s was just swimming around in a circle.

“Okay, I’m going in.” Jewel said. She got up from her seat and activated scuba mode; her suit stayed the same except for the oxygen tank on her back and the helmet she gained.

“Open hatch!” A hatch opened and Jewel jumped through it and was in the ocean. She carefully swam to the Tiger Shark Zord. She had a good feeling when the Zord saw her. “Uh-oh.” she squeaked. The Zord swam towards her.

She stayed completely still as the Zord circled her curiously.

At the base, the rangers, Twilight, Spike and Krysta were worried. “What’s it doing to her?” Spike asked.

“It’s circling her.” Krysta said.

“Not good. The Zord gonna attack her!” Twilight cried.

“Now, now, let’s not jump too conclusions.” Celesto replied. “Let’s see what happens.”

Jewel watched the Zord got dangerously close to her. The Zord sniffed Jewel and she close down her eyes, fearing the worst. Just then, she felt something rubbed up against her chest. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that it was the Tiger Shark Zord rubbing her.

Jewel carefully placed her hand on the Zord’s nose. “Good Shark Zord.” she said. The Zord smiled and nuzzled her.

The friends at the base sighed in great relief. “Thank goodness.” Fluttershy said.

“Okay, buddy let’s get you to a hiding place.” Jewel said.

“Not so fast!” Jewel gasped and she whirled around and saw the minions and Whirlpool beside them. “What are you doing here?” Jewel asked.

“We’re here to take the Zord, why else?” Marla said. Jewel knew she couldn’t let them take the Zord. “Whirlpool, hey rid of the ranger.”

Whirlpool saluted and waved his wand, making a large and rough current of water. He launched it at Jewel, carrying her away. Dolphin and Tiger Shark Zord roared in concern and chased after her.

At the base, the rangers saw everything via the hidden camera in Jewel’s helmet. “Oh-no!” Sunset cried.

“We’ve gotta get her!” Rainbow added.

“I think the Zord’s already got that covered.” Spike said pointing to the monitors.

They showed the zords catching up to Jewel and Tiger Shark Zord offering its dorsal fin to her, which she grabbed. “But now what?” Krysta asked. “The minions and that creep still want Tiger Shark Zord.”

“We have to keep them away from them.” Lightning stated.

“Right. Let’s go!” Sunset replied. The rangers nodded bravely and rushed off to get their jets prepared.

Tiger Shark and Dolphin Zord swam as fast as they could and they both breached he surface and began flying through the air. The minions and Whirlpool were right behind them. “Now, Whirlpool!” Marla called.
MWhirlpool waved his wand at the water and made a large water spout and he launched it at the two zords. “Lookout!” Jewel cried. The zords looked behind them and saw this.

They speed off but when the Tiger Shark Zord reared up to build more speed, Jewel lost her grip! The zords cried out in concern. Jewel was sucked into the water spout. She quickly activated her helmet. “WOOOAH WOOOAH HEEEEELLLP!” she cried.

The minions and Whirlpool laughed maliciously. Tiger Shark Zord roared and swam towards the water spout and swam insides. It spotted Jewel and swam towards her. It opened it's mouth and scooped Jewel into the cockpit. It rocketed out of the water spout, much to the villains chargin. The friends at the base, sighed in relief.

That's when the Zords swam out of the ocean and flew through the air. "Hey!" Marla cried. "Get back here. Whirlpool, get those zords."

"Yes ma'am."

Keto pointed his staff at Whirlpool and said. "FORTISSIMO" and made him grow large. "Now, let's start a hurricane!" he bellowed. The zords saw this and flew away from Whirlpool. When he was about to unleash and attack on the zords, the Jet-Star Megazord came down from above and blocked the attack with it's Star Saber. Whirlpool growled angrily. "You okay, Jewel?" Sunset asked via radio.

"Yeah, I'm okay, thanks to Tiger Shark Zord." The Zord roared happily. Jewel gasped. "Lookout guys!"

The megazord was suddenly consumed in a giant water spout and lifted up into the air. "WOOOOOAAAAAHHHH!" the rangers cried adn they were spinning aorund.

"Quick, AQUA JET" Tiger Shark Zord roared and charged into the water spout covered in large amounts of water. It burst in and pushed the megazord out of the water spout. "You guys okay?" Jewel asked.

A little dizzy, but we're okay." Sunset answered sickly.

"Take it east, guys I'll take care of him." Jewel turned the zord back towards Whirlpool. "Ready?"

Tiger Shark Zord roared. "Now, ULTIMATE WATER!"

The zord roared and charged Whirlpool while geysers of water appeared in the back ground. It bashed into him and he exploded, shrunk down and was imprisoned in a sphere. "Monster Caputured, Mission Complete!" Jewel declared. The rangers cheered in joy.

When, they got back at the base, Twilight and the others were glad to see Jewel unharmed. "You sure gave us a scare." Kyrsta said.

"I'm okay. Really." jewel said.

"Anyway, now we have a new Zord added to our team." Celesto said. "More than enough for Jewel to have her own megazord." The rangers gasped in joy at that. With a new megazord, they would be stronger than ever. However, Jewel said something that shocked everybody. "I don't want a megazord. "Jewel said, much to everyone's shock. "No megazord!" Buddy cried.

"Why not?" Lightning asked.

"My zords are just fine and strong just the way they are. I don't want to change them." Jewel explained. The other understood what she meant. Her zords did not need a fancy machine to make them strong, they were born that way and she didn't want to change them for the team's benefit. "If that's what you want, then it's okay." Celesto said.

Everybody agreed with that. "Any one hungry? Pizza is on me?" Celesto added. Everybody cheered and went out for some delicious dinner after an eventful day.

Prologue

On a cold night in Mystic Island, a girl was sleeping in a cardboard box while it was pouring rain outside. Shivering, she desperately hugged herself to try and stay warm.

"Excuse me." A voice said.

The girl looked up and saw a man and a women looking at her with concern. "I'm Grandruler Celesto and this is my wife Celestia. You look like you could use some help."

Being too shy to say yes, the girl just nodded. Celesto gently grabbed her hand and brought her out of the box and had her standing under his umbrella. They took the girl to their manison.

The girl was amazed by how big it was. The couple lead her into the bathroom, "You can wash up in here and we'll have dinner ready for you." Celestia said.

She closed the door, leaving the girl alone. The girl looked at herself in the mirror; dirt and grim in her hair and on her skin, clothes tattered and ripped. She was a mess!

After an hour of cleaning up, the girl headed into the dining room, where Celestia prepared a huge feast for. The table was littered with all kinds of meats, fruits and vegetables. The girl's stomach gurgled loudly at the sight.

"Oooh." She said hugging her stomach in embrassment. Celestia chuckled, "Sounds like you’re hungry. Come on and eat."

The girl sat down and ate with Celestia and Celesto. She introduced herself as Jewel Crystal. Her backstory was that she was founded as a baby by a pack of wolves who've raised her until she was.... well eighteen.

For the pass year, she's been living in the street; eating out of garbage cans and sometimes stealing food and water to survive.

Celestia and Celesto were horrified and saddened by her tale. "Oh, you poor thing." Celesto cooed.

"It's okay, nothing's changed for me since then." Jewel replied.

Celesto and Celestia looked at each other and nodded, thinking the same thing.

"Say Jewel, do you wanna go to Canterlot High tomorrow? You seem to be very smart." Celesto offered.

"Well, I do read about everything a lot." Jewel started, "Okay, I'll go."

Celestia and Celesto smilied at Jewel. After dinner they lead her up to her guest bedroom. "Youll be staying with us for w while?" Celesto asked. Jewel nodded. Celesto closed the door and shut off the lights, leaving Jewel with he thoughts.

"Well I start school tomorrow at Canterlot High, maybe things will change for me."

With that, she fell asleep.
