Vinyl lie in bed waiting for Mirage to come home, gripping her stomach, one from the foal, another from not being able to stomach the feeling of Mirage never coming home. They had gotten a small house close to the castle and Mirage would hold Vinyl down to keep her from leaving to go to war because of their foal, he didn't want to lose either of them, she was almost ready for birth,

"just one more month" Vinyl thought,

The filly in her belly was squirming and delivering hard kicks every few minutes now, making Vinyl unable to get out of bed, Rarity and Fluttershy had found her that morning, collapsed on the floor next to her bed, crying from the pain, they had stayed with her the whole day, to stay with her Rarity had ended up getting Twilight over and she was able to subside the pain with her magic.

"Are you feeling any better darling?" Rarity asked, patting Vinyl's shoulder

"A little" Vinyl said, "Why does it hurt like this?" she asked,

"The foal is just active today" Fluttershy said,

Vinyl didn't reply, just looked down at her swelled belly that carry Rain Whisper, At the beginning Vinyl thought this was going to be easy, before Ponyville was destroyed, she would stay up late and read books to the foal while in a rocking chair, The cutie mark crusaders had tried to get their cutie marks by reading stories to her as well, she cold still remember their cheery voices,

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS FOALSITTERS YAY!!!" they yelled, that was before they were forced to take sides in the war, Scootaloo, an Alicorn who had claimed to be a guard of Mirage for Celestia had guided her there, trying to recruit Vinyl and Mirage as well, They declined and had been almost regretting their decision.

She could only think of Mirage right now.

"Soarin send backup!" Spitfire yelled through her earpiece,

"I'm sorry Spitfire, I can't" Her captain said, he was keeping the army on it's feet along with Shining Armor,

"What about me and Mirage?" she asked, fighting off a new enemy,

"Your team is Expendable..." Soarin said,

Spitfire gasped, hearing her former teammate call her Expendable

"What?" Spitfire asked, her voice cracking as she teared up,

"What about Vinyl and Rainbow?" She asked,

"I'll tell them myself" He said, "Blame no pony but me, I made these orders"

"If I get back... You better run" Spitfire said, taking out the earpiece and smashing it on the ground,

Soarin thought about the two, fighting for their lives and destroying all available contact ways with Canterlot, and that last remark...

"Sir?" a pony next to him asked, ready for new orders

"They've gone Rogue" he said, practically turning the war towards the two,

"What do you need us to do?" the soldier asked, looking at his captain,

"Kill them"

"Where's our backup?" Mirage asked, taking his mask off biting a pony on the ground, killing him, but not drinking any blood

"Not coming" Spitfire said, "Were... Expendable"

"What?" he asked,

"Don't worry, we'll get back to Canterlot" Spitfire said, coldly

Mirage finished off the last pony, snapping his neck

"How? I can't fly" Mirage said, looking at his broken wings, the pain finally starting to seep in

"I'll carry you" Spitfire said, flying above Mirage, gripping his sides

"Am I not too heavy?" Mirage asked, seeing Spitfire pick him up with no strain

"After flying so many years as a Wonderbolt, I could probably pick up a buffalo and fly with it" she said,

The two sped off, leaving almost two dozen soldiers behind them, all dead

Soarin washed his mane happily in his shower while humming a little tune he had heard a few months ago that had just reappeared in his mind. He had just rinsed the soap from his mane when he heard his bedroom door opened, along with hooves moving around, then a few moments later he heard the bathroom door creak open, along with four steps. He was then flabbergasted to see Spitfire slip into the shower, she stood up on her hind hooves like him and got close, putting her chin on his shoulder, laying her hoof on the front of his neck, putting her muzzle close to his ear and heard her say,

"You didn't Run"

His pupils shrank as he was shoved into the wall of the shower her hoof crushing his windpipe, he flailed his arms, coughing and gasping for air. After a few seconds of choking him Spitfire threw him through the glass door of the shower, shards of glass stabbing his back as he landed on the marble flooring, making him shriek and fill his lugs with air, Mirage stood above him with an evil smile,

"Remember me Soarin?" Mirage asked, showing his fangs

"P- Please" Soarin begged,

"Your not so great at being a Captain Soarin." Spitfire said, stepping out of the shower

"Nightmare Moon has cursed you both" Soarin said, reaching up to a cabinet where he kept a blade hidden

Mirage slammed his hoof down onto Soarin's arm, snapping the bone, sending it through his skin, emitting a loud crunching noise,

"Nightmare Moon hasn't cursed us, Celestia has cursed you" Spitfire said,

"This war doesn't help anypony" Mirage said,

"Who's side are you on?!" Soarin asked, confused

"Neither" They said in unison

"We've come to take our belongings, and leave" Spitfire said, "But we had to tell you this, and I had to teach you a lesson"

"Goodbye Soarin" Mirage said, knocking him out

The 6 mares were with Vinyl trying to calm her down, after Celestia had insulted her and Mirage

"Quit whining" she had said, "This is your fault"

Vinyl tried to block out one memory that hurt her most but couldn't

"An abortion would be easier..." she mumbled as she left the room, leaving Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie to hold Vinyl down to keep her from lashing out on the once gentle, loving Princess Celestia.

"Why is she being such a bitch lately?" Rainbow asked,

"You should have heard what she said to Applebloom!" Applejack said,

"She said... that I wasn't useful..." Fluttershy said, with a tear rolling down her cheek

all of these ponies were hurt, but none more than Vinyl, she had been crying for over an hour, the girls had no luck trying to calm her down, all of the stress was really getting to her, she needed Mirage.

Mirage broke down the door to the room, taking an unconscious guard with him, close behind, Spitfire ran into the room tackling the 6 mares all at once, Spitfire rose her hoof to attack but stopped, realizing who they were, after she had gotten off she tried to explain what was going on,

"Girls! you need to come with us, we have to get out of Canterlot! Soarin has declared us as war criminals after me and Mirage had cut off communications with him!" She spat out

"What?" they all asked,

"Just come with us!" Spitfire said,

Mirage had slowly helped Vinyl up, fully aware of her condition

"Mirage?" she asked through teary eyes,

"It's me" he said smiling and tearing up himself, "Hop on my back"

Vinyl didn't argue, just climbed on, where she got strapped down so she couldn't move,

"Don't worry, once we reach our destination I'll take them off" Mirage said, "I'll explain everything there"

Spitfire went and kicked a huge window, causing it to shatter.

"Wait, we can't fly!" Applejack said,

"That's why we got these" Spitfire said, throwing down four pairs of metal strap on wings

"Alright!" Pinkie Pie said, putting them on, and giving them a test flap,

The others took a few minutes to get warmed up to the idea but eventually put them on, Twilight had just finished tightening the strap to hers when Celestia walked through the doorway,

"You aren't going anywhere!" she screeched,

"Go!" Spitfire said, jumping out of the window

Everyone followed, including Celestia, spreading her huge wings and darting after her once loyal subjects.

Mirage's wing was in so much pain, his speed was limited, and the extra weight hadn't helped,

"Mirage guide them there, I'm gonna go stop Celestia" she shouted over the wind,

Spitfire moved back, doing circles around Celestia, slashing at her wings with her hoof, Celestia reached out for the Wonderbolt, grabbing her tail with her magic, she lifted her up by it, finally she engulfed her with with all of her magic, swinging her around like a puppet, Spitfire had finally broke free, drawing her switchblade and cutting her enemies right wing, causing her to plummet towards the ground.

"That was a close one" Spitfire thought, flying back towards the ponies

Mirage was leading the pack, pushing his wing to the limit, he could see his destination though, he was almost there.

"Is that?-" Rarity asked before being cut off,

"Appaloosa" Applejack finished,
