Rarity leaned against the entrance of the barn, waiting for her girlfriend to finish her farm work. She peered down at her nails, inspecting them carefully to see if they remained perfect. She shot back up to look when the barn doors opened, and a sweaty Applejack emerged into the opening. Rarity gave her a smile as AJ whipped the sweat from her head.

"I'm never doing that again for Applebloom, that youngin needs to learn to do it herself," Applejack stated, picking up the water bottle she had sitting next to Rarity.

"Well now you don't have to worry about it anymore darling, it's over," Rarity said to her, walking over and putting a hand on her shoulder, not hard enough to get sweat on it. "Now we can spend some time together."

Applejack gave a sweet smile, placing her hand on top of Rarity's. "Yeah, I'll get cleaned up and then we can go to that restaurant you love so much for a date, how does that sound?"

Rarity held her hand as the two of them started walking towards the house. "That sounds wonderful darling." Once inside the house AJ walked upstairs to prepare, while Rarity sat down on the couch, crossing her legs in a proper manner. Applebloom walked out of the kitchen and spotted her sitting on the couch, and decided to join her.

"Howdy Rarity!" she said, plopping down on the other side of the couch.

"Hi Applebloom, how are you doing?" Rarity responded to her with a kind smile.

"I'm doing good, how about you?"

"Doing fabulous darling, just waiting on your sister so we can go out this evening."

"Oh, you two goin on a date?" Applebloom asked, a giddy smile forming on her face.

Rarity put her hand up to her mouth as she gave a small laugh. "Yes Applebloom, we are going to that fancy restaurant in the mall, for a date."

"That's really romantic," she stated with the smile only getting bigger. "I'm glad your the one that's datin Applejack, despite your differences in things."

Rarity rubbed the top of Applebloom's head as she replied to what she said. "Thank you Applebloom." Since she started dating AJ, Applebloom had become like a second younger sister to Rarity, and it did nothing but make Rarity enjoy being around the Apple family even more. Even though Rarity wasn't fond of the farm life, she did enjoy the visits, especially when they invited her to one of their home cooked dinners. Rarity and Applebloom chatted for awhile, until AJ came down to join them, sporting her nicest clothes. While they weren't as fancy as Rarity's, the fashion girl still enjoyed them whenever the farm girl wore them.

"Shall we be off, m'lady," Applejack said, tipping her cowboy hat with a grin and extending her hand.

"Oh Applejack, you make me blush," Rarity responded, putting a hand to her mouth, giggling as she excepted AJ's hand with her other one. The two walked out of the house and into AJ's car, which the cowgirl preceded to drive towards their destination.

In a different part of town, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were walking in the park. Fluttershy was feeding the ducks while Dash watched. The rainbow girl couldn't help but smile at how cute Fluttershy was, kindly giving pieces of bread to the different ducks.

"Now Mr. Quackers, don't take to much, save some for the others," Fluttershy spoke to the duck in her calm, quiet voice. She placed the remaining bread pieces on the ground, and then walked back over to Dash, a cute smile showing on her face.

"You can't pass up helping any animal, can you?" Rainbow asked, a kind smirk on her face.

Fluttershy shook her head as she interlocked arms with Dash. "Ever animal deserves some kindness, and they usually return the same kindness to you later."

"I'll take your word on that," Rainbow replied, holding Fluttershy's arm tight. The two of them slowly walked through the park, not speaking to each other to much, but they didn't need words to have a good time, just each others company.

"I'm glad you was available this weekend to spend time with me," Fluttershy spoke up, dissolving the silence.

"Fluttershy, nothing is more important to me than being with you and seeing you happy," Rainbow stated with her kindest smile, making Flutters blush. Rainbow kissed the top of her head, making the shy girl blush even more. The two walked off into sunset, happiness enveloping ever step they took.

The weekend had come to a end, and Monday had begun. Twi stood in front of the mirror, wondering what she should wear. Technically speaking, Midnight was wondering what to wear. The demon didn't care to much for Twi's usual outfit, so she walked over to the closet, peering over the assortment of clothes within. Her eyes landed on some clothes that look like they'd been never worn, and a slightly evil smirk formed on her face. She decided on a pair of black jeans, which matched her dark purple shirt with a sparkling star in the center on the front. She also pulled down a black zip up jacket, putting it on to complete the look. She kept the glasses and ponytail, not wanting to change her look to much. She walked out her room and met with Twilight in the living room.

Twilight spun around when she heard the girl enter the room. "Hey Twi, ready to-" she stopped when she looked over Twi's new outfit. "Your trying a new look?"

Midnight looked down at herself before looking back at Twilight. "Yeah, I thought I would try something new, do you like it?"

Twilight looked her over some more before answering her question. "It's, different...but not bad."

Midnight gave Twilight a smile, before walking up and giving her a kiss. Twilight happily returned her kiss, putting her arms around the girl. The two kissed for a couple minutes, before Twilight pulled away.

"We should probably leave, don't want to be late, you need to be at school."

Midnight gave a chuckle, rubbing Twilight's back in a slow manner. " Alright, let's go." The two girls parted and walked out of the house, Midnight sporting a confident grin as she walked behind Twilight. When they arrived at the school, they met their friends out by the statue, their usual meeting place before school.

Sunset noticed them walking up, and stood up from her spot to welcome them. "Hey Twilight, hey Twi, how are you-" she stopped when she saw Midnight come into full view. The other girls noticed as well, looking Midnight over, odd looks covering their faces.

"What's with the new look Twi?" Dash asked.

Midnight laughed at her question, giving a grin as she answered. "I decided to, change a few things about myself."

Rarity walked around her, checking her over from top to bottom. "I will say it's...different, not necessarily bad, just very different for you."

"What are you doing, expressing your dark side?" Pinkie joked with her.

The group gave a short laugh while they all walked into the building, Midnight chuckling within herself as they walked. "More than you know," she said under her breath. The day went on as a usual school day, nothing very exciting happened, until last period. The school was having a dodge ball competition, and everyone had to participate. The two teams were selected, Rainbow Dash and Applejack being the teams captains. The two teams choose their sides, and the battle commenced. Dash and AJ immediately started going after each other, while the rest of the girls just did their best dodging and throwing. Like most athletic games, Fluttershy was quick to be out, along with Rarity and Octavia. The three girls sat on the bleachers and watched the mayhem.

"I'm not surprised you three are out," a voice stated from beside the bleachers. The three girls turned towards the familiar voice, only to see the Dazzlings leaning against the bleachers.

"Why are you three here?" Rarity asked as they took their seats.

Adagio gave her hair a flip as she sat down, and then looked over at them to answer. "Sonata got the idea to have all of us go to the opening of that new taco restaurant in the mall, and we got tired of waiting at the house, so we came here to watch whatever it is that you do at this time." She looked back at the game just in time to see three more people get out. "Looks like Aria's type of game."

"Like I would want to play this," Aria stated, propping her arm up to rest her head.

Sonata moved from her spot to sit next to Octavia, giving the cellist a warm smile. "So, how's your relationship with Vinyl going?"

Octavia gave a small blush as she looked out at the DJ in the field, currently dodging some balls, dancing while doing it. "It's, progressing. Our life hasn't changed to much, but we enjoy each others company more now."

"Great to here!" Sonata said with enthusiasm, making Octavia smile.

Out in the field, Sunset and Midnight were standing closer to the edge, with Sunset chucking dodgeballs left and right. She watched a ball go sailing towards Midnight, and she shouted to warn her. "Twi, look out!"

Midnight quickly spun and caught the ball, a confident smirk appearing on her face before chucking it back towards the enemy team, nailing someone in the stomach.

Sunset walked over to her, a bit shocked at what she witnessed. "Wow Twi, you got really good reflects."

"Well, you know...learned how to back at Crystal Prep when we played this game, since I was usually a target for people to laugh at when I got out..." she responded, rubbing her arm in a shy manner.

Sunset gave the girl a warming smile, hoping to cheer her up. Midnight gave her one back, before the two got back into the game. As the game went on, lots of people got out. When they joined the bleachers, some of them sent glares in the Dazzling's direction, but none of the three really cared to pay attention to it. One of the guys in the game noticed them, and got a idea. He leaned back and threw the ball as hard as he could, right in Sonata's direction. Aria saw it coming, and moved quickly to catch it. She caught it just before it hit Sonata, her hand hovering in front of the girls face. Aria stepped off the bleachers and threw the ball directly back at the guy. The ball went sailing back into him, nailing him in the stomach, sending him back and on to the ground. He clutched his stomach as he rolled around from the pain. Aria returned to her seat, proud of her accomplishment.

"Thanks Ari," Sonata said to her, nuzzling her head against the Aria's shoulder.

Aria gently pushed her off, but gave her smile. "Don't mention it."

The game soon came to a end, with Rainbow Dash's team the victors. She proudly walked off the field and joined the rest of her friends, the most ego driven smirk plastered on her face. "Did you guys see how awesome I was out there?"

Rarity gave a sigh before answering. "Yes Rainbow Dash, you did good, now just drop it before it goes to much to your head."

AJ walked up behind Rainbow and gave her a slap on the back, congratulating her on the win. When the celebrating was over, the group learned of Sonata's plan, and decided it was a cool idea. They got their things together and drove to their homes, just to meet at the mall later on. The group of girls made their way to the taco restaurant, with Aria having to calm down Sonata from her excitement. When they got their food, they all sat at a table, munching away at the delicious food.

"Look who it is girls, the Rainbooms are here too," a voice spoke from the side of the table. The girls looked back, or just looked up, to see the Shadowbolts standing next to their table. The voice belonged to Sour Sweet, the girl at the head of the group.

"Oh hi girls, how have you been?" Rarity spoke up, trying to be friendly.

"Oh we've been doing great, Crystal Prep has been nothing but splendid since Cinch left," Sunny Flare responded, checking her nails as she answered.

"That's good to hear," Rarity stated to them. "Care to join us?"

As the Shadowbolts thought about it, Rainbow whispered to Rarity. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to be nice, we don't need any enemies from other schools. Besides, there not that bad," Rarity whispered back.

"Alright, we'll join," Sour Sweet said with a smile, that quickly changed to a frown. "Not like we have anything better to do." Before they sat down, they looked over the current inhabitants. They recognized everyone present, until their eyes fell on the Dazzlings. "Who are you?"

"I am Adagio Dazzle, leader of the Dazzlings," Adagio stated, standing up.

"Pleasure to meet you," Sour Sweet said, shaking her hand. "Now who are they?" she asked, regaining her frown as she pointed to the other two sirens.

"I'm Sonata, and this is Aria," Sonata happily answered, shacking the girls hand as well.

"Aren't you the three sirens who took over CHS?" Lemon Zest asked, taking off her headphones.

Adagio gave small chuckle before answering. "Well now, I see our popularity has reached other schools," she said, looking back at the other two, who were also smirking.

"You took over a school, how could we not here about it," Sugarcoat stated in her usual voice that sported no emotion.

The Shadowbolts took their spots, each girl opening her bags of food and beginning to eat. The Rainbooms, as well as the Dazzlings and the musicians, didn't really know what to say to them. Last they saw them was during the end of the Friendship games, and the whole Midnight Sparkle ordeal.

"So Twilight, how's being in the losers school?" Indigo Zap asked, taking a bite out of her taco.

"It's better than being at Crystal Prep," Midnight retorted. She remembered the girls, the ones who made it possible for her to exist. Despite that fact, she didn't really care for them, since they stopped helping her after she came to life.

"If you say so," Indigo responded, giving a mocking smirk.

"I take it you three no longer want to take over the world?" Sunny Flare asked, looking at Adagio.

"No, we stopped walking that path a while ago, thanks to this girl," she said, putting her arm around Sunset.

Sunset gave Adagio a smile before giving kissing her cheek, earning a confused look from the Shadowbolts.

"Are you two, a thing?" Lemon Zest asked, turning her head.

"Yeah, we have been for a while," Sunset replied, setting her hand on Adagio's.

"Good for you two," Sour Sweet commented, "since both of you tried taking over CHS."

"Are you the only couple?" Sunny Flare asked. The Rainbooms started laughing, making the Shadowbolts even more confused.

"Actually, there's a lot more that just them," Rarity stated, earning a look from the Crystal Prep girls. She explained the different couples, making the Shadowbolts both shocked and curious.

"So, let me get this straight," Indigo Zap said, placing her hand on the table. "We're surrounded by lesbians."

"I'm not a lesbian," Pinkie spoke up, raising her hand in the air.

"Except for you," Indigo said, rolling her eyes.

"Technically the majority of us are bi, but I guess yes," Applejack stated. "Are any of you in a relationship?"

The Shadowbolts shook their heads no, but Aria noticed one of them looking off to the side, acting like they were trying to hide something.

"The weirdest one out of all them is definitely you two," Sour Sweet said, pointing to the two Twilights. "Seriously, who dates themselves."

"Yeah Twilight, I never you knew you was into girls," Sunny Flare commented.

"I'm full of surprises," Midnight responded.

"How original," Adagio stated, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes.

"Your relationship is definitely odd. Suits you perfectly," Sour sweet commented.

"Ok, what's your deal?" Sonata asked Sour Sweet, which made the girl turn towards her, wondering what she meant. "You keep going from nice to being sour, a smile turning to a frown."

"She has a split personality disorder," Sugarcoat stated.

"Oh...does that mean your crazy?" Sonata asked, twirling her finger on the side of her head.

"No, no, I'm not crazy," Sour Sweet replied, raising her hands up in defense. "Not like you."

"Yeah, I'm pretty crazy," Sonata said with a giggle, earning a glare from Sour Sweet. All the girls continued their conversation until it got time for them to depart. The Shadowbolts said their goodbyes before walking away, and when they were out of hearing range, Sunny Flare spoke up.

"So, why are we helping Trixie deal with them?" she asked Sour Sweet.

"Because, we want the money she's offering us," Sour Sweet replied. "And to watch their smiling faces turn to looks of fear as they crumble before us."

"But, they don't seem that bad," Lemon Zest commented. "And did anyone think Twilight was acting, different."

"Her attitude was bound to change when she left our school and joined them," Sugarcoat responded to her headphone caring friend.

"I still can't believe the monsters we were told about are apart of their group," Indigo Zap stated. "Did anyone else find them to be slightly unsettling, especial that one with all the hair." The other girls nodded, but they pushed that feeling aside.

"Doesn't matter how we feel about them, we have a job to do," Sour Sweet told all of them. "And we will see them bow before us as we take of them down."

"Your split personality is getting worse Sour Sweet, it's starting to make us worried about you," Lemon Zest said to her, which the others nodded to.

"Guys, I'm fine, no need to worry about me," she said with a comforting smile, before it turned to a sinister grin. "Nothing to worry about at all."

The other girls looked around at each other with worried glances, but just decided to not say anything else as they walked out of the mall.
