Twilight and Midnight were in the living room, with Twilight holding Midnight in her arms as they both were laying on the couch. The two of them were enjoying their morning together, relishing the moment since they both new Twilight needed to leave. Midnight crawled her way up so she would be directly above Twilight before giving her a loving kiss. Twilight pulled her arms up and around Midnight's neck, stroking her ponytail in the process. The two of them made out for several minutes before Twilight pulled away.

"We should probably head to the portal...I do need to return to Equestria," she stated, a look of sadness covering her face.

"Alright...just promise that you'll come back to visit," Midnight asked of her.

Twilight brought her hand up to her face and slowly caressed her cheek. "I will come back to see you Twi, I love you."

Midnight gave a warm smile down to her, before leaning down and kissing her gently. The two girls moved off of the couch and headed towards the door. Midnight drove Twilight over to CHS, silence enveloping the ride. Once at the school, the two got out of the vehicle and joined hands. They slowly walked over to the statue, and found their friends waiting there to say their own goodbyes.

"Hey everyone," Twilight said to all of them, slowly waving while doing so.

"Hey Twilight," Sunset responded, a kind smile on her face. She walked up and hugged Twilight, which made the princess let go of Midnight's hand and bring her arms around the sunny girl. "It's a shame to see you go back, but Equestria needs their newest princess."

"Yeah, and don't worry, I'll be back," she said as she parted from Sunset, giving her own kind smile.

Pinkie rushed up and hugged Twilight tight. "I'm going to miss you!!" she said to her, some dramatic tears falling from her eyes.

"I'll miss you too Pinkie," Twilight responded as Pinkie let her go.

Each of the Rainbooms gave their own goodbyes and hugs, some giving some tears and some not. After each of them were finished, Twilight turned to the Dazzlings, who were currently standing behind the others. Twilight walked up to Adagio and gave her a smile, which the poofy haired girl returned.

"Don't cause any trouble while I'm gone," Twilight said in a joking manner.

"Define trouble, princess," Adagio joked back. The two gave a short giggle before embracing each other.

After they parted, Sonata walked up and gave her own hug. "When you get back, can you visit the South Luna Ocean please, I wanna hear about how it's doing when you return."

"Alright Sonata, I'll check it out," the princess replied. When the two parted, Adagio and Sonata looked over at Aria, who was currently standing off to the side with her arms crossed. Adagio motioned with her eyes for her to come over, which Aria replied by rolling her own eyes before walking up. When she gave Twilight a hug, Twilight whispered something in her ear. "When I get back, I want to hear if there's anymore couples."

Aria gave a small smile before replying in a whisper, "Sure."

The two parted, and Twilight walked over to the Octavia and Vinyl, who were also present to see her depart. Octavia met with her first, giving her a warm smile. The two hugged each other, and as they hugged, Vinyl came up from behind and gave her a hug. Twilight gave a short chuckle as she was embraced from both sides by the musicians. When they parted, the princess walked over to the portal, where Midnight was standing in front of it.

"I guess this is goodbye..." Midnight said to her, before hanging her head.

Twilight lifted her hand and brought her face back up to hers. "For now, but I will be back, I promise." The two looked deeply into each others eyes before engaging in a deep kiss. The others awkwardly shifted glances as they kissed, as they were still not used to seeing two people who were the same kiss each other. When they parted, Twilight caressed her face one last time, before giving a final wave and goodbye, and walking into the portal. With a flash of light she was gone, leaving the others with one Twilight.

Applejack walked up to Midnight and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Well...on the bright side, we don't have to call ya Twi anymore."

Midnight gave her an appreciated smile as she turned to her. "Actually, keep calling me that, I like it...and because I've kinda gotten used to it."

Applejack gave her nod before walking back to Rarity. The group of people made their ways over to their vehicles, each returning to their homes. Once Midnight was home, she walked down to the basement and flipped on the light. She walked over to the working table and grabbed some supplies.

"With Twilight gone, I can finally begin my plan," she stated with a evil grin. She set herself to work, gathering pieces together to build her device.

Over at Crystal Prep, the Shadowbolts had gathered themselves into one of the many study rooms. With the school day having already been over, very few students remained at the school, but they had permission from Principal Cadence to stay over, saying they wanted time to study with each other. The group gathered around one of the tables, as Sour Sweet laid down some paper and grabbed a pen.

"Alright, so how should we go about helping our little magician?" she asked the other girls.

The others looked from one to the other, trying to form ideas in their heads. After a few minutes of silence, Sunny Flare spoke up. "What exactly does she even want to do to them?"

Sour Sweet was about to answer, but stopped herself when she realized Trixie never mentioned that. She sat down in her chair and rubbed her chin.

"Trixie will tell you what Trixie wishes to do," the magician stated, walking into the room, making each of the girls very confused.

"Trixie, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at CHS?" Lemon Zest asked, bringing her headphones down from her ears.

"Trixie is here to see if you five are doing a good job at coming up with a plan. Apparently you need Trixie's help," she said as she took her spot, standing next to Sour Sweet.

"If you told us what you wanted to do, we wouldn't just be sitting here!" Sour Sweet yelled at her, making Trixie step back slightly.

The magician regained her posture before revealing her plan. "Trixie wishes to humiliate them, bring them down to the level they dropped Trixie to. To see them admit Trixie is best around."

"Your so full of yourself," Sugarcoat remarked, making the other Shadowbolts giggle.

"Trixie recognizes that Trixie is the best, the greatest and most powerful."

"If your the greatest and most powerful, why ask us for help?" Sunny Flare asked, earning another giggle from the girls, making Trixie frustrated.

"Trixie needs you five to back her up, to make sure nothing goes wrong."

"And how do you want to humiliate them exactly?" Indigo asked.

"Just make them be in a way where they have to submit to Trixie, especially Sunset and that bitch Adagio," Trixie said to them, hate mixed in her words.

"Whatever, and we'll definitely get out money when this is over right?" Sour Sweet asked, which made all of the Shadowbolts turn to Trixie.

"Yes, yes, you'll have your money. Just be good little Shadowbolts and do what Trixie asks," she stated, patting Sour Sweet on the head.

"Of course we'll do what you want," Sour Sweet said with a smile, before it turned to an angry glare as she grabbed Trixie by her shirt and pulled her forward. "Now listen here you little bitch, we are the Shadowbolts, and we answer to no one! Now leave before I really get angry!"

Once let go, Trixie hurried out of the room and soon out of the building. Sour Sweet gave a huff and stormed out of the room, leaving the other girls trying to decide on whether or not to follow her. Soon Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest decided to go get some drinks, while Indigo and Sugarcoat stayed behind to come up with a plan. Indigo paced the room while Sugarcoat sat at the table. Indigo walked back and forth several times before finally getting something.

"I've got it! Let's make them loose in some more competitions!" she stated with all her enthusiasm. She looked over at Sugarcoat, who just looked up at her with her usual face that showed no emotion. "No?"

"Your plan lacks logic," Sugarcoat stated to her before looking back down at her paper.

"Well, what about making them feel stupid in front of everyone at CHS?" Indigo asked.

"Only Trixie wants to humiliate them, making them fail in front of everyone would be illogical," Sugarcoat replied to her.

Indigo gave a frustrated grunt as she jumped on to the table and put her face right in front of Sugarcoat's. "Oh like you can think of something better Ms. Robot!"

Sugarcoat put her finger on Indigo's forehead and slowly pushed her face away. "We don't need to humiliate them, that's Trixie's job. We just need to put them in the place where it should happen. Whatever happens once they're there isn't our problem if she's already paid us."

Indigo sat up on the table and smirked at Sugarcoat. "So what your saying is, just deliver them to the spot, then just let whatever happens happen?" she asked, which Sugarcoat nodded to. "Great idea Sugarcoat, this is why your my favorite Shadowbolt," she stated as she jumped off the table and put a arm around the emotionless girl.

"I find your reasoning...logical," Sugarcoat said to her, making Indigo giggle.

Lemon and Sunny were walking down the hallways, drinks in hand. Lemon had gotten one for Sour Sweet, hoping it would calm her down. "I'm going to go find Sour," she said to Sunny.

"Ok, just...don't do anything to further upset her," Sunny said to her, which Lemon nodded to.

Lemon turned down the hallway and headed towards the archery range, since it was Sour's favorite spot in the school. When she walked inside the indoor range, she found Sour Sweet loading her bow. She released the arrow, letting it glide through the air and hit the target on the outer edge. Sour Sweet gave a frustrated growl as she went to load another arrow.

"Sour!" Lemon shouted, getting her attention. When she put her bow and arrow down, Lemon walked up to her. "I brought you a drink."

Sour Sweet calmly grabbed the drink and took a sip. Once finished, she gave a satisfied sigh and turned to Lemon Zest. "Thanks Lemon."

"Your welcome," she replied with a smile. The two sat down on one of the benches facing the range. As Sour took another sip, Lemon shifted in her seat before speaking to her. "Sour, I'm really starting to worry about you."

"Why?" Sour Sweet asked, taking another sip of her drink.

"Your bipolar condition is getting worse. You used to just go from being nice to just being mean, but now, your starting to get more physical about it...more angry...and more violent."

Sour Sweet put her drink down and hung her head, which prompted Lemon to ask a question.

"Sour, have you tried getting help about it?"

Sour Sweet looked back up at Lemon, before turning back to look at the ground. "...No..."

Lemon put her arm around her and rubbed her shoulder. "You really should...I don't want it to get any worse."

Sour Sweet's face turned angry as she shoved off Lemon's arm and turned to her. "Why do you care! You never cared about it before! No, you was to busy rocking out to notice you music freak!" Sour yelled at her, making Lemon slid away and bring up her arms just in case she needed to shield herself. Sour calmed down and saw the hurt in Lemon's eyes, and it made her own eyes start to tear up. "Lemon...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean too..."

Lemon slid back to her and brought her into a hug, letting the few tears in Sour's eyes slide out and land onto her shoulder. Lemon brought her arm up and rubbed her back, trying to calm her. "It's alright Sour, I know you didn't mean it...but you need to get help about it." She backed out of the hug and rubbed some of the tears from Sour's face. "Please."

Sour Sweet wiped some of the tears as well, and smiled at Lemon. "I'll try to. Thanks Lemon, I'm glad to know your there for me."

"I always will be, your my best friend Sour, you always have been," she said to her, bringing her into another hug. After they parted, Lemon watched Sour Sweet shoot some more arrows, complementing her on each successful shot.

After school the next day, Sunset drug herself into the house, dropping her book bag by the door and walking into the living room. She plumped down next to Aria on the couch, who was currently texting on her phone. She looked over at the sunny girl who was resting her head on her hand.

"Sucky day?" Aria asked, which Sunset nodded to.

"Today was so boring, the teachers did nothing but give lectures, lectures about nothing we need to know," Sunset said to her, rubbing her forehead.

"You haven't missed anything her either. Sonata's in her room playing some new game she got, and Adagios...actually I have no idea where Adagio is," Aria stated to her, making Sunset turn to her with a confused look.

"How do you not know where she is?"

"Sometimes she just disappears...or maybe she's just in the basement," Aria said, bringing her hand up to her chin.

"You guys have a basement, and you never told me about it?" Sunset asked her.

"Oh, we didn't, whoops. I'll show you where it is," Aria said, standing up and walking away. Sunset got up and followed her into the kitchen. Once inside, Aria pulled up one of the floor panels, revealing a trap door. Sunset stared at it in awe, while Aria opened it, and motioned for Sunset to walk down the stairs. Sunset walked over and preceded down the steps, taking in each sight as she descended down, with Aria right behind her. Once at the bottom of the steps, Sunset looked around. The room she was in relatively empty, only a few chairs and some tables. When she walked over to one of the chairs, she noticed the chair was stained with dark red marks, as well as the floor around it. Sunset gulped as she thought about what the substance was. She looked over at one of the tables and saw several knives and saws laid out across it. Her breathing quickened when she put the two circumstances together. She spun around when she heard someone approaching from around the corner, only to see Adagio walking towards them with Scarlett around her shoulders.

"Oh, hey Sunset," she said with a smile when she noticed the two in the room.

"Hey Adagio...you never told me you had a basement," Sunset said to her.

"We didn't?" Adagio asked, looking over at Aria who was shrugging.

"No, you didn't."

"Well, sorry about that dear, but now you know."

"Adagio...what are you doing down her...and what have you been doing down here?"

"Oh I've just been putting away some of the junk we've stored down here. I've got most of the furniture away, as well as the majority of the other useless stuff that came with the house. Although I can't find a place to put these knives and saws."

Sunset glanced over at the stained chair and wanted to quench her suspicion. "What happened to this chair?"

Adagio looked over at it and rolled her eyes. "Sonata spilled red paint on it while she was moving paint cans. We haven't moved it since then, so I guess the paint just dried on it and around it."

Sunset sighed a breath of relief as she looked around the corner to see several pieces of old furniture as well as other stuff stashed away in the back. She walked up and gave Adagio a hug, making the siren give Aria another confused look, which Aria shrugged too.

"Adagio, lets go get some coffee at Sugarcube Corner," Sunset said to the siren she was currently holding tightly. "I need something after today."

"Um, sure. Are you ok Sunset?" Adagio asked, which made Sunset look up at her.

"I'm fine, now that I'm with you."

"You two are weird," Aria stated. Adagio rolled her eyes and walked with Sunset. As she passed Aria, she had Scarlett slither off her shoulders and on to Aria's.

"Can you be dear and put her in her cage, thanks," Adagio said to her as she and Sunset walked away.

Aria stood there and crossed her arms. Scarlett moved her head and looked up at Aria, which made the siren look down at her. "What?" Aria asked, making Scarlett just flick out her tongue and move her head around.
