Unknown Pony's POV

I look out the window from my room, and I see my beautiful changelings back from their mission ready to tell me a good report. When I start to head my way down to the main hall, one changeling stops me, but I could see fear on his face.

You look troubled, what had happened?

"q-queen, we did destroy the village like you said."

Why the troubled look?

"we had lost more casualties then ever before, and The Royal guard came to stop us."

I was outraged, and had walked back to my room, slamming the door hard. All the changeling could do, is watch in disappointment as he walked away. I growled and thought to myself.

Celestia and her pathetic sister always trying to get in my way! Soon my dear Celestia, soon you will know how we as changelings can fight back!

Frost's POV

I slowly woke up on Luna's back as we were flying in the air, but looking down wasn't the smartest idea, because right when I did, I held onto Luna's neck tight.

"hehe, good morning little one."

W-where am I?

"in a safe place little one, but we were just heading back home sweetie, from the park."

O-oh, I must've fell asleep mommy

"indeed you did sweetie."

I had looked over to Celestia, as I saw her smirk and look at her sister, but when she noticed me, she smiled and waved, as I waved back. I wondered why she looked at Luna like that, but at the time I really didn't know that much of what was going on. All I know is that I was heading home.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~One Hour Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As we entered Canter lot, I looked down at the beautiful town, seeing ponies walking about, doing their business, but I really didn't see any bat ponies insight, which made me start to wonder.

Momma, is I the only bat pony?

"no sweetie, there are lots of them here, and i'll bring you to them when we get home."

eeeeeeeeee!

I was so ready to meet other bat ponies, because at the time, I really haven't met any bat ponies before, and I was ready to meet my first one. We landed to the ground as soldiers started rushing to us, and I held onto Luna tight, getting scared, but she looked back at me and looked a little worried, as we went inside.

I looked all over the castle, just admiring the scenery, because it was the most beautiful thing I could have ever seen. I tried to hold back a yawn, but I really am bad at trying, but when I saw Luna giggle, I just hid my face in her neck. I couldn't have been more embarrassed.

"I see you are tired little one."

y-yes mommy...

"it's okay sweetie, we'll get you rest."

I couldn't respond to her comment, because I was already asleep by the time she finished talking, and soon after I felt a nice warm blanket cover me, as I couldn't help but smile in my sleep. Just ready to have a nice slumber.

Luna's POV

I looked down at the adorable little filly, and couldn't help but smile and kiss her forehead. Seeing her smile in her sleep made my heart hurt, but I knew she would be safe now. I slowly make my way out of the room and closes the door quietly as Tia smirks.

"why did you use that spell on her."

what are you talking about?

"The memory erase spell! That was uncalled for!"

If you were in that filly's position would you want to have your memory erased or keep the memory of seeing you dead parents!

"I...I guess you are right Luna, but erasing every single memory was a bit over doing it."

I kept one memory for her

"which one was that?"

her brother..

"oh Luna..."

I shook my head and walked away as I didn't want to have this conversation going any longer, and Tia knew that and walked away as well. Maybe she was right about that going over board, just maybe I shouldn't have erased any memory. The only thing is that, the poor little bat pony would be scarred for life...I had to do it, and I knew it was right.

Frost's POV

Starting to be a grown mare was actually very exciting, because I got to do a lot more stuff than I could do as a filly. When I was twelve, I was getting more attention like never before because I was the daughter of Princess Luna. I was walking down the main hall when I saw one soldier on Luna's army whistle at me, and I blushed heavily.

H-hey s-stop that

"hehe sure Frosty."

I looked at him surprised, because no one has ever called me "frosty" before, and I really never thought about having a nickname like that. I just kept walking until another soldier smiled.

"seeya later bubble flank!"

Now I was downright blushing very hard, and I could feel the heat radiating off of my face. I covered my flank instantly and sped off out of the castle hoping to find some place to have any dresses I could wear. I was also looking for my mom to arrive, so I can just hide in her wings, and pretend that I was in my room, but she was too busy today.

I headed down one of the roads in Canter lot and I asked a few ponies where they knew to get a dress and they pointed east. I smiled and headed to the direction, and it led to a trash can. I turned around and was knocked down by them, instantly getting humiliated by lots of ponies.

All I could do is just cry, and run home, but everywhere I went I was hit my tomatoes, or just random items, and more and more ponies laughed. I just kept crying and finally after what seemed like days, ran into the castle, with soldiers looking at the ponies in disgust, before closing the doors.

At least I had some ponies on my side, but that doesn't change the fact that I had been humiliated by them. I tried to be strong and hold back tears, but I just couldn't stop myself, and I laid down on mother's throne, just waiting for her to get back.

I heard laughing and I looked up to be horrified to see my own mother laugh at me. Calling me names, and saying I was useless. She was right...I am useless, just I didn't want to have to hear it from another pony, but I just kept crying until I woke up screaming, tears fall down my face as two soldiers rush in and see if I was okay.

"Ms. Frost! is everything okay!?"

I-I

I couldn't say a word over my crying as both soldiers looked at each other and rushed out of the room to go get Luna. Soon, I saw my mother rush in and hold me tight, as I cried. I tried to look up at her but she laid on the bed and laid me on her, as her wings wrapped around me. I felt the blankets roll over us as she nodded to the soldiers, giving us privacy, as I heard the doors click shut.

M-momma I-I

"shh sweetie, you went through a lot, rest with me."

Slowly, we both had fallen into a deep slumber, as I smiled in my sleep, feeling protected, like I remember the same feeling before. I try my best to remember where I first got that feeling from, but for now I just wanted to enjoy the feeling, because it was the best feeling in the whole world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~An Hour Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I woke up without Luna with me, and I tried to look around, but I couldn't find her. I walked out of the room, then saw her talking to Princess Celestia, and quickly going back in to listen.

"Luna this is crazy."

"I don't care Tia! She can never find out that I erased her memory!"

"Luna, she will find out eventually."

"No she won't."

"Luna."

"what?"

Princess Celestia points at the door of the room I was in and it closes instantly, I felt betrayed, like everything was taken from me, but I just wanted to know what memory she took from me. I looked around for anything, when Luna walked in and I kept looking away.

"sweetie.."

No! You took my memory away!

Everything went black, as I woke up on the ground. I tried to remember how I ended up on the ground but I couldn't think, then I headed out of my room, seeing Luna sitting in her throne, I headed down the hall, and smiled looking up at her. She smiled down at me and picked me up with her magic, before hugging me tight.

Once again I saw a smirk on Princess Celestia's face and was a little worried until Luna shrugged it off and nuzzled me, and I nuzzled her back.

Unknown Pony's POV

As my magic dispersed, I growled, laying on my bed. I couldn't help but just watch that bat pony hold Princess Luna tight, saying that she was her mother. I got up from my bed as I walked over to a mirror and started talking to myself.

That mare, that little mare! She was one of the only bat ponies to escape from the village, and I could have taken her as my own. Eight years since the attack, and I am still regretting not telling one subject to pony nap her. I would have done better then to put a memory erase spell on her Luna...you pathetic Princess..Soon....Soon, she will be mine.

Frost's POV

Later that night, we were getting ready for dinner, when mom wanted to go out to eat, but I was too scared to go after the nightmare, and she understood, but kept telling me it would be okay, so I agreed to go. As we made our way to the restaurant, I saw some ponies smiling and winking at me, as Luna whispered to me.

"show them your stuff."

I giggle and move my flank from side to side as I look back at them, I see their noses bleed a little as we walk inside giggling. That was one fun part about being a grown mare, is that I could make some ponies nose bleed, but I did feel bad for them, because some blood did fall on their tuxes.

I saw a waiter walk up to us and take us to a "VIP" section of the restaurant, and I never really been to one of these before, so really it was very confusing. We sat down as we were looking at the menus. I looked over to my left and saw a mare...looking at me and she winked as I blushed a little covering my face with them menu, hoping the waiter would be back soon.

Thankfully the waiter came back, as we both ordered our food, but for being a Princess, Luna got to have a fifty percent discount off of the food she ordered. I was amazed by it, but held her close as she saw the mare, then looked down at me.

"huh, first time I saw a mare look at you like that."

i-is she done looking?

"hehe, no sweetie, but she just might come over here."

EEP! nuuu!

I kept hiding in her wings as I saw the mare give Luna a note, she looked down at me and gave a final wink, before leaving. I blushed hard as I saw our food arrive. I noticed all the other ponies were unicorns only, and I was the only bat pony. Luna looked down at my food and smirked as she saw the waiter leave.

I tried picking up a glass that was mainly for unicorns only, but ponies looked at me and rolled their eyes. I instantly jumped up as the drink spilled all over my winter white dress, and a waiter spilled food all over me, saying that it was "accidental". I ran out crying as Luna smirked at all of them then turning to the waiter.

"Princess I am so sor-."

"Owner. Now."

"y-yes ma'am.."

When the owner of the restaurant came to talk to her, she yelled her flank off at him, saying stuff like "I will give a bad review" and "you all will regret it". I stayed out in front crying as hard as I can just covering my face. Luna had come out and took off my dress, putting me on her back and I fall asleep instantly.

I wake up as we just entered the castle, and I don't say anything. Luna opens the door to my room, and lays me on the bed, as she notices I am awake and smiles, kissing my forehead.

"You have been through a lot tonight sweetie, get some rest"

Mom...I...

"yes sweetie?"

I will tell you tomorrow

"okay honey..."

I see her walk out of the room, and close the door as I close my eyes and let slumber wash over me. I know I had a rough night, but tomorrow, will be when I talk about moving out. Hopefully she will understand.

Luna's POV

I slumped against the door as I covered my face. I wanted to cry, but I just couldn't, not in front of every pony, and because I wasn't in my room. I see Tia walk towards me, as I try my best to regain my composure, but I can tell she already knows I am upset.

"Luna..are you okay?"

"yes Tia, I am fine."

"don't lie to me Luna. I was there during your outburst to the owner."

"but..how-."

"you know I eat there some nights..."

I wanted to say that she was wrong, about that, but I knew she was right, and I couldn't find anyway to deny it. Where was she anyways? maybe she was in the back of the room, and I didn't notice her? All I wanted to do now is just go to sleep, but out of nowhere everything went black. Tia cast the sleeping spell on me...someday I will kick her flank, but for now I will sleep and get ready for what's to come tomorrow. Hopefully, I can privately talk with frost about something important...just hopefully soon.
