Keeper of Harmony

Meanwhile, after Lynx set out returning to Ponyville, somewhere deep in the vast depths of the oblivious grove, Everfree Forest, lies an evil discussion of two unknown voices.  Everything was all black and blurry, and there is no telling what the figures appear or look like.  But sure enough that whatever it is they're planning cannot be pleasant.

One begins with a hiss and speaks very serpent-like.  "It appearsss the attack didn't go asss well asss you had hoped, my lord."

"Always observable, my minion." replied a different, monstrous voice whose demonic tone could cause those-who-hear's hair stand on end.  "But that was only nothing.  It was a trial; a testament to determine their strength and willpower."

"You are alwaysss one step ahead, my liege.  Ssso, what will your next plan be?"

"Simple.  We will ambush the human again.  However, this time it is YOU who'll be leading the attack."

"Very well.  Ssshall I rally the othersss, then?"

"Not too hasty, minion.  Since the princess is anticipating for our next attack, we'll just have to settle and wait until their suspicions wear down."

"Brilliant asss usual, my lord.  But what of the purple unicorn?"

"Ha!  Her?  If she interferes do whatever it is that you see fit.  However under any circumstance, once you succeed be sure to bring him back here alive."

"What are your intentionsss with him?"

"I won't disclose those plans just yet.  For now, we will continue observing his movements until the opportunity comes."

The demon-voiced lord first started off with a chuckle but soon raises a diabolical, deafening laughter that echoes throughout the entire forest.

While the human was heading toward Ponyville, he momentarily stopped half-way and barely hears the winds of the wicked laughter.

He looked around seeing if there was anybody near him.  'Huh, could have sworn I heard someone.' he thought.  'Must be me imagining things.' he then aimlessly shrugged and continues his long, laborious walk.
