Chapters Chapter Two- Don't Cry Now Little One
Twilight laid on a cold floor, her entire body aching something terrible. She was somewhat conscious, she could hear water dripping somewhere. But that was it, nothing else could be heard or felt, aside from the pain in her body. It was if as she in the very pit of Tartarus, being punished for some awful crime or sin.
She whimpered with her eyes closed, unable to move her body in the slightest. She didn't even know how much time had passed by just laying on track cold ground with the annoying sound of the water dripping in the background. Her mind was on a constantly though, reliving her death over and over.
If the goal was to break Twilight, that monster of a mare would surely do it. Constantly, Twilight felt the hooves of that mare crashing into her side and on occasion, she wasn't sure if she hadn't heard her ribs break. It was very possible considering the monster's strength. "Make it stop please!" Twilight screamed in her head, desperate for the pain to cease it's attack on her psyche.
What had she done to deserve this? What had, a princess and the element of harmony done that was worthy of such torment? Absolutely nothing, it didn't matter who she was. Suffering came to all one way or another. And this was Twilight's time, all thanks to that mare who hunted and beat he. A feeling of hate started to brew inside Twilight, blaming the mare from before for her pain. Not that it mattered.
For what felt likes hours, the alicorn princess of friendship laid in pain. Waiting for a release from it and the replay of her death. All was in vain as a voice spoke up in a booming echo.
"Your sins of life will be your torment my dear, they shall haunt and burn your very soul into its new shape. You shall awaken as my pawn and you shall walk once again. For the realm of shadows has called upon you and I. Now rise!" The voice commanded, and despite Twilight's pain. She rose from the ground. Whimpering of course, though she had no clue of what was happening to her, but it hurt to be standing up.
"Now open your eyes, feel your new world and find your new body. Your mortal time has ended!" Twilight shook in fear as her eyes opened up, the voice was incredibly loud. All around her was fire, pools of magma, lava plumes all over and a darkly smokey sky blocked out any possible light.
"Tartarus." Twilight plainly said, knowing her location instantly. She was more than glad about the books she had read about it. But she had not one clue as to why she was here or as she looked down to see no hooves, where her body was. A scream echoed throughout the smokey and lava filled world, before it was consumed into silence. Her scream of fear had fell on no ears as she desperately tried to see a hoof or a tail- anything at all.
It scared her terribly to say the least, but at the same time. She could find relief that her body was no longer aching, in fact, she felt relaxed almost. Despite her fear. "Why am I here? I'm not evil." Twilight spoke as she assumed to float around.
"I can answer that, love." A deep voice of a stallion echoed through her ears as she turned around to find the source. There before her stood a dark stallion, almost entirely black, except for what looked like lava dripping from his eyes and parts of his body. His eyes were a soulless black.
Twilight would have been tripping over her hooves as she stumbled backwards, if she had any right now that is. "W-what are you!" She screamed at the stallion before her. Her heart would also be racing if she had it, but instead it was idle fear. Fear of being alone in an unknown world, without amy knowledge of why.
The stallion laughed as he gestured to the sky and then all around. "I am the keeper of Tartarus, the executor and the savior. And you my dear are here because you no longer walk the mortal plane. Or an immortal one of an alicorns, you are very dead. You walk a new darkened plane of existence. But you're also bound to the mortal world." The stallion explained as his voice boomed through the realm. She steadily backed away in fear, she could feel power radiating off of him.
"It is time to go, Twilight. Back to the above world, your punishment is over for now. For breaking the laws of life and existence, you have one chance or you will be back down here and you will suffer for an eternity." Twilight froze in place at the stallion’s dark warning. What did he mean by that?
“Now follow me or I will leave your soul to rot in the fire.” The stallion commanded as he brushed past her, she certainly didn’t want to anger him-let alone a being that was far superior right now. And with that, she followed him as he waked straight through a pool of lava, though she walked on the edge. She had common sense at least, he was meant for that and she was clearly not meant to be able to walk through it.
“Where are we going and who are you?” She asked and stallion simply laughed.
“I told you, I am the keeper of Tartarus. I have no name. As for where we are going, we’re going to the gates. Cerberus will allow you to pass this one time, if you ever return, you will be torn apart.” The stallion warned with his booming voice. It definitely was giving Twilight a headache now. Though she had one final question before she would shut up for a bit, at least to not anger the stallion.
“I have no limbs, body or feeling right now. What am I exactly at this very moment?” She asked, curious of what she could possibly be at this point if she wasn’t dead.
“You are a soul without your body, my dear. You are also, dead. Your heart will never beat again after this and it certainly won’t be needed with what you have become. You poor unlucky mare. But at the same time, you live.” Twilight was at a loss of words, it defied her logic to be alive and also dead. Let alone that her heart would never beat again-If she would ever get her body back.
She now fell silent to her thoughts. What would her friends think of her? What would she even tell them? Did they know she was missing? Questions ran rampant in her mind, which would forever be scarred with from that faithful night. The night she died and left the mortal plane apparently, something she didn’t believe was a thing.
She had so many questions, so many ideas. So many ways she could take the words of the stallion. She honestly thought of it as a hood thing even if she was slightly losing it grip on sanity, if she ever had a grip on it.
She hadn’t even paid attention toe the fiery world around her and barely avoided falling into open pits of bubbling magma. It annoyed the stallion greatly that she wasn’t being careful. But all well, if she died here, she’d make a good slave to him. It had been centuries since he had an alicorn to torment.
But she remained lucky, magically avoiding danger and death every time. He’d mummble under their breath every time, for a mare who just died, she sure seemed unfazed and carefree all of the sudden. But in reality, it was Twilight’s coping mechanism. Thinking and finding the good of something, even in dark times was a natural skill she had and loved. It got her through some of the toughest battles-along side her friends or course. Twilight’s face visibly fell as the thought of them crossed her mind, they could be heartbroken right now with her missing or if they had found her somehow dead.
And as theyreached a huge set of gates, each one was labled. But in some weird writing even Twilight couldn’t read. “Are we here?” She asked.
“Yea. This gate right here will take you back. With that in mind, don’t die again. I am your savior now, but if you die again. That’s it, I’ll be your first step into a permanent death.” The stallion place his hoof on the gate, it glowed for a moment and creeked as it opened. The gates themselves seemed to all be golden, with ash colored clouds all around.
Twilight stepped forward, if she could have taken a deep breath, she would have. And with the idea in mind, she walked through the gate without having to be told to. The stallion waved his hoof as Twilight disappeared through the gate and it closed behind with a loud metal cling as the locks on the gate fell into place.
On the flip side, Twilight was blinded for a moment. Seeing nothing but white. Finally, she could feel something. A burning in what she was sure was her throat. On another note, she felt her body slowly coming into feeling. It was odd to be back in it, Twilight could feel a significant weight to it. Unlike in Tartarus where was weightless, was this what bound her to the realm she called home?
Her eyes opened slowly. Looking around, Twilight saw nothing more than a cave. Wait- she could see perfectly in the dark? Better yet, she hesrd the sripping of water once again. “I’m back?” Twilight asked, unsure of where she was.
“Oh indeed you are back, back right where you started. Welcome to your new life, Princess. Your bloody new beginning has started. Now to finish it.” Twilight immediately recognized the voice, it was that mare. That mare she had a growung hate for. The mare she had blamed the pain on.
“You! I know that voice, you- you killed me!” Twilight shouted at the voice and a moment later found herself being flung into the cave wall. It left an immediate crack in the wall as some fell away from the impact. Twilight’s ribs instantly shattered under the force.
Twilight tried to gasp for air once the stars cleared from her vision, but found she couldn’t. She put her hoof on her neck and tried desperately to soothe it. But felt only a worsening burn. “I-ack- Can’t...breathe!” She whisper shouted. The mare only laughed at poor Twilight’s struggle.
“Do not shout at me, I am far stronger than you, you puny fledgling.” The unnamed mare whispered into her ear seductively as Twilight felt a hoof glide over her side. Of course she whimpered, her ribs had just been obliterated against the rock. Just how strong was this mare?
“I-I’m sorry, please just tell me what’s happening.” Twilight apologized quietly as she tried to calm herself. Being unable to breathe wasn’t helping and yet she could speak.
“You’re clueless aren’t you? Don’t you get it? I changes you. You’re dead Twilight. And right now if you want to avoid suffering an eternity, you’ll do exactly as your instincts and I say.” The mare left Twilight even more clueless. Instincts? What instincts? “Do you understand?” The mare asked and Twilight simply nodded her head. She had little else to do right now, and if she wanted to anger the mare. Twilight would surely be put through pain.
“Then let us begin. Get off your flank, your bones will set themselves. As for breathing, it's not important anymore.” The mare stomped her hoof into the ground and Twilight immediately stood up, internally screaming as she felt a snap inside of her body. Outside, something cracking could be heard and then a pop.
A sigh left her when all was said and done. She felt fine again. Wait, scratch that. she felt amazing. And as she gazed around her surroundings, she could see clearer than ever before. She could see every detail on the cave wall. Each individual thing stuck out to her. And as she looked at the mare eho had hurle into the wall itself, she noticed a very dim red glow around her charred body. Which itself, she could pick apart and see every detail- even if she didn’t want to.
“Our eyesight is around a hundred times better than any mortal, Twilight. So get used to, it is one your greatest weapons, including that brilliant mind of yours.” Twilight was pretty sure she blushed as the unnamed mare complemented her.
“Okay, you know my name. But what is yours?” Twilight asked, hoping she’d have a name for this thing in front of her.
The mare smiled, showing off the pair of sharp fangs that had sank into her very neck on that dreadful night. Instinctively, Twilight backed away some. “My name is Crimson. And you need not fear my fangs so much my dear. I’ve been satisfied for the while after draining you.” Crimson paused for a moment as Twilight made mental notes. “And now, it’s time your learn your new place in the world. Come here.” Crimson subtly commanded in a soft voice and Twilight obeyed.
Without warning, Crimson warpped her charred hooves around Twilight who shivered in her warmth. “You’re so alone and cold now aren’t you, Twilight?” Crimson asked softly.
“No. I’m not cold in your embrace- or really alone.” The words rolled right off Twilight’s tongue. Her mind didn’t even realize what she had said.
Crimson smiled and looked Twilight in the eyes. Twilight’s eyes were a deep crimson now, no longer their natural innocent color. Those times were gone. Crimson was more than victorious, Twilight was hers for the time being. “Very good, and who do you depend on now?” Crimson asked.
“I depend on you. And only you to keep me safe.” The words rolled out from Twilight once more. Her mind was blank as if she was in a trance. Crimson only smiled more as she leaned in, to which Twilight obediently did was well. Their lips met for a moment, Twilight being shy to such an act and Crimson going all the way with it.
“Welcome to your new life, my love. You can’t leave me now or return to your friends for a while. But I will keep you safe. Now come, we need to get you your feed.” Crimson broke the kiss all too soon again from Twilight. Twilight herself never imagined she’d desire the lips or body of another mare, but Crimson had her wrapped around the idea perfectly. A slave to a master.
Crimson moved away from Twilight and slowly began to trot off into the cave. Twilight’s eyes flickered for a moment before she followed. “Why can’t I see my friends, Crimson? They must be worried si-“ Crimson turned and put a hoof to Twilight’s mouth, shutting her up.
“You will just as well kill them Twilight, it’s for your own good if you’re to be of use to me. I don’t much care if they die, in fact, it’d be wonderful if they begged at your hooves as your drained their very lives away. But you’d be broken-hearted immediately after.” Crimson explained with no mercy as Twilight let a single tear fall from her eye. She was indeed locked under some kind of spell. Too much to really care enough or dwell on Crimson’s words. There was a remorseful part of Twilight still, there was always going to be a part that loved her friends. And that would be her downfall in the long run.
“I understand, but why would I kill them? They're my best friends, th-“ Twilight was once again cut off by a hoof.
“Your friends will hate and fear you, they will cower under your presence. And your mentor, Celestia? She’ll turn you to ash!” Twilight’s eyes widened at the thought of Celestia. The very idea of the sun scared her for reasons unknown. But Twilight heard Crimson more than well and was in a perfect place to manipulate. Crimson knew this well as she continued her walk through the cave. Only in seconds, Crimson made Twilight fear Celestia. The one pony she could truly go to for help.
Soon, a delightful scent filled Twilight’s nostrills as she licked her lips. It hadn't occurred to her how dry her mouth was, let alone her throat. The burn in her throat only proceeded to become an inferno, she needed something. Something could quench this fire burning in her throat. And as they trotted up to a stallion who laid down on a large flat rock, Twilight almost lost it and jumped for him.
Crimson observed Twilight’s actions and pulled her back of course before firmly smacking her muzzle. “Ease yourself Twilight. He’s unconscious, he’s an easy meal. Use less energy.” Twilight seemed to take Crimson’s words to heart. She began to stalk toward the stallion, unfortunately for him, he was waking up. And the last thing he would ever see, would be a princess of friendahip coming to drain him of his life.
As the stallion’s eyes opened slowly, he let out a scream just as Twilight was in front of him. Out of her nature, Twilight kissed the blue and white pegasus to silence him. His eyes were wide as she moved away, he was rendered speechless the moment their eyes locked.
“Good Twilight, now you may feed. Always subdue your prey. Always make sure they can’t fight.” Crimson complemented Twilight on her quick thinking. Twilight soon found the stallion’s neck as he tried to scream for help. Only finding his voice to be of no use, as no sound came out. At the same time, he was paralyzed for unknown reasons to him.
He gulped as Twilight moved his head aside. There was no more Twilight, only a predator that wanted to eat. And this poor stallion was its source of substance. Any struggles he would give were rendered absolute as a sharp pain rippled throughout his body. Twilight moaned loudly as the stallion’s blood filled her mouth. It was a pleasure she didn't understand or care to understand righ now. She just wanted the burning in her throat to stop. She’d do anything and if this stallion’s blood would quench it, so be it.
Every gulp earned a moan from her as Crimson watched. Questioning if she should save the stallion or join in before Twilight has all the fun. Of course her idea was simple. It was far more fun right now to watch and see how distressed Twilight would be. The stallion disn’t have a chance as Twilight lapped at the wound, taking every drop she could get. The sweet metallic flavor became a desire as she was soon getting nothing more from the stallion. She had killed him so quick it surprised Crimson even. “That’s enough Twilight, he’s dead.” Crimson said before pulling Twilight back, who gasped for air. Her muzzle was stained deeply in red and stallion’s neck was the same.
“W-what? Dead? How?” Twilight spat her questions as she tried to clean her muzzle off with her tongue. Whatever she couldn’t reach, she used her hooves and then licked them.
Crimson smiled devlishly as she spoke the words that would haunt Twilight. “You drained him dead, Twilight. How do you feel?” Crimson asked, sure to Twilight break for a moment and she did.
Twilight’s desperate look faded to one of horror. She turne and looked at the stallion who laid limp on the rock. She rushed over to him and placed her ear over his chest. But there was no heartbeat, nothing at all. “He’s dead Twilight, you would’ve heard his heart beating from here.” Crimson assured her and pulled her away from the body.
“I-I can’t beli-“ Twilight couldn’t finish the stallion as a realization hit her. She had hated very very few things in the world, and she couldn’t begin to dream of intentionally harming somepony. But there she was, she had bit the stallion and killed him. All in a matter of what she was sure was only a minute. A few tears built up in her eyew as Crimson smirked. And soon, those very tears fell among mamy others.
“Come here Twilight, it’s okay. He was a criminal anyway.” Crinson whispered reassuringly and opened her hooves for Twiligh, who ran into Crimson’s tight embrace. This was all part of the plan to gain Twilight’s trust and with that, Crimson held Twilight close. Her revenge would come swiftly and it would bite.
Crimson nuzzled Twilight’s neck, cuasing her to shiver. She also gulped remembering what Crimson had done before. It was a feeling she didn’t want, she didn’t want to die again. “P-please it won’t happen again.” She pleaded, feeling more than guilty with what she had done. But that wasn’t at all the reason for Crimson’s muzzled nuzzling up against her neck.
“Do not worry my dear, I won’t hurt you. You just have to learn and I’m here to hold your hoof with every step.” Crimson said as she moved her muzzled and faced the tear stained Twilight. She was an easy mare to break mentally. Crimson wasn’t going to be all bad though. No, she wanted to have Twilight to herself and still enact her plan.
“Just close your eyes Twi and trust me.” Crimson whispered, Twilight of course obeyed, or rather trusted in this case and closed her eyes. He first thing she felt was Crimson gently kiss his, but she didn’t open her eyes. “It’ll all be alright eventually Twilight. Eventually.”
Chapter Three- Falling Dashie, Love Brewing
Elsewhere in Equestria, life continued as normal as the word of a missing alicorn slowly started to form. But for the most part, who was to know exactly? It wasn't enough reason to draw out a world wide panic just yet. Even if poor Spike was worried sick about his adoptive mother, luckily Rarity had invited him over for the time Twilight would be away. And here the dragon sat on the porch of Rarity's home. Lost for words as he tried to understand why Twilight had gone away without a word. She told him just about everything she could when or if she was going to be away. It was something he loved about her, but this time there wasn't even a note saying she'd be back. She had simply disappeared.
For a dragon, it wasn't unusual to feel a bit cold at times. Even if you had had an internal fire, being cold in the shade or at night was normal. But on that night his beloved Twilight didn't return home, he felt a chill free his body over for a second. It had shocked him awake, having never felt so cold. instinctively he called for Twilight, but had no answer for a full half hour. He spent the rest of the night searching for her, all around the castle and a bit outside. But regrettably retreated to the castle with the chilliness and fear that he would get into trouble.
The next morning he told her friends of what happened, but kept quiet about the cold feeling. He felt it was important, but foolish at the same time. And it could very well only be him because of what he is. With that in the dragon's mind, he kept quiet. When all was said and done, Rarity invited him to stay with her since Twilight was away. He of course obliged without a second guess, perks of having a crush on the pure white coated mare. He would bend over backwards for her if she asked.
And he remained on the porch in the afternoon, not hearing Rarity say it was time for lunch. He was lost in thought. Twilight wouldn't just abandon everypony and or her friends. That just wasn't her, it would never be unless it was to keep them all safe. Or perhaps it was something so urgent that she couldn't waste any time saying of her whereabouts? But if that was the case, how had she met with Rainbow that night and spent the majority of their meeting discussing Rainbow's duty as the star of the party? How had she had the time for that? It angered Spike to say the least, enough that he huffed out some smoke from his nose. "Oh what happened to you Twily?" He asked aloud, beyond worried sick. The others assured him she would be back or send news soon, but he stalked the mail courier, Derpy and always asked. But there was nothing from her. Nopony had any clue of where she was.
"Spike, please come inside already. We have sent word to the princesses. They will te-" Rarity stopped speaking as a letter came through from Spike. He coughed and immediately opened it and read it over. It was obviously urgent if he was the receiver and its contents were more distressing. "What does it say Spike?" Rarity asked and tilted her head to the side as the dragon faltered. It wasn't the news he wanted or hoped for, in fact, it stressed him more.
"R-Rarity, they don't know where she is either. They had no idea of anything she was doing and now, we have nu clue either." Spike sighed and drooped his head. Where had Twilight gone, that was the question running rampant in his head. He thought of many things that could have happened. Between a spell that erased her from existence to her being carried off by a griffon or something large. Oh how wrong he was.
Rarity's ears drooped for a moment, but she soon smiled and brightened up. "It's alright darling. I'll get the others, maybe we can all go looking for her?" Rarity asked, hoping to cheer Spike up. But to no avail.
"Look where exactly? She's not in town and believe me, I searched the castle top to bottom and all around. She isn't here." Spike sniffled, he was one to think a bit too quickly sometimes. And a missing Twilight only made that worse for him as he sighed.
A new voice cut Rarity off as she went to speak, to aid the dragon's thoughts. "Spike's right, she ain't here. Me and Apple Bloom looked everywhere with Sweetie and Scootaloo. Rainbow should be here any second now." Applejack's country accented voice chimed as she trotted along tiredly.
"I can say the same. I sent my animals to search, but not one has come back with anything." Fluttershy whispered as she walked up slowly with her head down.
Spike only lowered his head more, fighting back tears. "How could she just disappear?" He asked, his voice full of sadness. "It's been three days!" He shouted, suddenly perking his head up. Flluttershy of course backed away slightly from Spike as he raised his voice.
"Hey now, there's no need for shouting sugarcube. I'm sure Rainbow Dash will have found something, she can fly above the Everfree, remember?" Applejack smiled and looked to the skies, expecting to see a Rainbow Dash pulling off some stunt. Instead, she saw her plummeting toward the ground. "Everypony look out, incoming Dash!" Applejack warned as she tried to figure out where she would crash and paled as it would be right there in front of all of them.
"I got this, stand back!" An extremely hyper and high pitched voice chimed as she place a big mattress over the spot and tossed a few pillows on it. The voice belonged to none other than PinkiePie. How she had gotten there and knew exactly what to bring? Who knows, she was Pinkie and more random than anything else in their world. They all stared at her with mouths agape. minus Spike of course. He simply watched Rainbow fall and hoped she would be alright.
"Rarity, try and slow her down if you can some, she'll break her neck otherwise." Applejack commanded as Rainbow got closer by the second. Rarity's horn sparked up as energy began to flow through it. The familiar blue got everyone's attention as it went from Rarity to Rainbow and slowed her descent for the part. Soon after, Rainbow Dash landed on the center of beds on the perfectly placed pillows and groaned.
"Are you alright Darling? That was quite the fall." Rarity inspected her, finding no injuries, she was baffled. Why had she fallen from the sky like she had? Luckily Rainbow had an answer, too bad she was out cold.
"Uh hate to break it you, but she's out cold. And I sure haven't heard of Rainbow Dash just taking a nap mid flight, maybe while working, but not flight. Are there any injuries on her wings or anything at all?" Applejack asked and observed from a distance. Rarity was still examining her, so there wasn't much room to get in the way.
Rarity sighed and moved away from Dash after she made sure there was no injuries. "She seems fine, but tense. I think her wings locked up and the descent might've gotten to her. But there's no injuries, Applejack." Rarity explained in full detail to reassure her.
"Wait, wait, just one moment. You're telling me, that our best friend that we've known for who knows how long, locked up midflight? She ain't ever done that before." Applejack rubbed her chin and trotted over to examine Rainbow Dash herself, of course finding nothing of interest.
"I agree with Applejack, she's never had this happen before. She's perfect in flight, she always make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen." Spike spoke up, agreeing with Applejack.
"Well, it does happen to a lot of Pegasus actually. Fluttershy paused for a moment and looked at the others, seeing she had everypony's attention, she continued. "It happens when we try to push ourselves too far without rest. These wings of mine are notorious for it. Perhaps Dash just overwhelmed herself?" Fluttershy whispered, hoping to ease everypony. It did make sense at least and with that, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Lets take her inside, see if we can't wake her up and see what happened. Or if she knows anything about Twilight." Applejack was the first to speak after the moment of silence and with that, they escorted Rainbow Dash inside. Laying her on the nearest piece of furniture, the group of six relaxed and sat around her, all except for Spike. He stayed right by as if he was guarding her.
Pinkie curiously turned her head and looked at Spike. "Why the long face Spike?" She asked chipper as usual.
Thankfully Rarity answered before he could. He silently thanked her. "He's not taking it so well that Twilight's missing, Pinkie." Rarity said softly as Pinkie nodded.
"Aw poor Spikey, you must be troubled awful. Want a gem muffin, with ruby to help you feel better?" Pinkie asked, she may have been random and crazy, but she was always a good friend when it really counted. This was one of those times where she really showed it, she hated to see someone with a frown. And with that, she ran off bouncing out the door. Quite literally using her tail as a spring as she hopped down the street.
Everyone just stood there, unsure of when the pink earth pony would be back. It didn't matter much, they were far more worried about Rainbow right now. She might have valuable information or a reason for how she fell from the sky without even a scream. It puzzled them greatly and at once, they all ventured into their thoughts.
Elsewhere in Equestria or specifically, in a save, Crimson and Twilight were asleep in eachother's hooves. Twilight's dreams were more than pleasant, she was happy as could be in them. But in each of them, something was missing. No matter how happy she was in her dreams, something was missing. Crimson knew well of her dreams, she couldn't manipulate them enough to be perfect. It was outside her magic, that rested on Princess Luna to do that. Altering dreams wasn't the mare for that kind of magic. But she did now how to manipulate somepony for what she wanted. Revenge would be hers in time, just not anytime soon with Twilight so weak and defenseless.
She was a strong alicorn, but lacked the knowledge that Crimson had. Crimson could feel the sun setting, it was an internal clock really. But she wouldn't dare walk in it. She knew better than to reduce herself to ash. But that's where Twilight came in. She could walk in the light, unlike her. It was all part of her plan still. A most devious and evil one, yes. But she had to think, but for now, Twilight would be up soon. Not to mention, hungry.
As Twilight stirred and yawned, Crimson waited for her eyes to open. As Twilight stretched her hooves, she blinked a few times before looking around the room. Her eyes soon fell on Crimson. Twilight smiled and nuzzled Crimson as she would Spike on the occasion when she woke up in the morning. Except it was dusk outside, not that she could tell. Crimson nuzzled her cheek and soon after, her neck. Twilight's cheek's would have been bright red by now, but they remained the same.
"Did you sleep well dear?" Crimson asked as she pulled Twilight closer, with no complaints or protests. Instead, only having Twilight wrap her hooves around her and her muzzle against her neck.
Crimson chuckled softly as Twilight answered. "Yes, I slept very well. What about yourself? Did you sleep well?" Twilight asked politely.
Crimson licked her lips and moved Twilight slightly as she looked in straight in the eyes. "Oh I slept very well by you love, though I'm," Crimson paused as Twilight tilted her head, "Parched."
Twilight wasn't sure what she meant but as soon as Crimson moved and gently pushed her down against the rock floor, she got the picture. "P-please Crim-" Twilight couldn't complain or finish or plead as Crimson kissed her. For a moment, Twilight didn't know what to do. Out of pure desire, she returned the kiss. Though the moment she felt Crimson biting her lip gently, she opened her mouth to moan, only for a tongue to slide in instead. Twilight had a new feeling now as Crimson explored her. But what really got Twilight's attention was the moment Crimson's tongue carefully went around her fangs. An indescribable pleasure for the mare. Though Twilight was sure Crimson was going to bite her, she gladly enjoyed the kiss and played along for a moment as she closed her eyes.
A solid minute had gone by of just the two of them in each other's embrace, sharing a delightful kiss. But it all ended too soon for Twilight who was new to these feelings of hers. Her desires spiked through the roof, but sadly she didn't know if they'd be fulfilled. "You love me don't you, Twiliy?" Crimson asked seductively as she kissed down Twilight's neck. It sent chills through Twilight, she loved the nickname more than anything right now, aside from Crimson.
"Yes I love you." Twilight moaned out in the same seductive tone. But this was all a lesson for Twilight, one about seduction and one about how easy it really could be. Except that she was under a spell or rather a rule imbedded into her. If she truly loved this mare more than her friends was beyond her concern. She felt great right now. And that was all Crimson needed as she stopped and hovered over a place on Twilight's neck.
"Now just hold still dear, this will be much different from last time. Don't move, got it?" Crimson asked and subtly ordered Twilight, who of course did as asked. She even tilted her head some, knowing what Crimson had wanted from her. Though she only knew half of it, the other was part of it was the strength the flowed through Twilight's veins. Physically, Crimson could overpower Twilight. On the magic scale however, Twilight would beat her in time. But neither had a chance against another, more talented alicorn. Celestia would prove to be quite the problem later and Crimson knew that.
It was all too easy for Crimson, Twilight could make a good food source as it was. There wasn't a risk like hunting down someone else. But there was something Crimson knew all too well about this. The feelings between them would only make this better for both of them, yet another unwritten rule and known fact for her kind. Small as it seemed. To Twilight, she just wanted to please Crimson and earn more of her attention. The fear of being bitten again was long since gone, in its place, desire.
With Twilight wrapped up tightly with Crimson's words, she could care less what Crimson did to her. And as she felt Crimson bite into her neck, she moaned. Tightly wrapped around the idea of pleasure and hope for it, she got what she wanted one way or another. Crimson was far more gentle now and Twilight was greatful as she wrapped her hooves around her lover. All had happened quickly, but she couldn't deny loving it. That saying, no pain no gain, was very true here. She had suffered at first, even blamed Crimson for it all, but now she was a mare woven into loving another mare.
"Oh so easy Twilight. I could've just done this from the start if I knew you were so easy to pleasure." Crimson thought to herself as she gulped Twilight's sweet blood down. It was far better than the first time. Though she would eventually would have to let go, or else Twilight might be a little less trusting. Not to mention even more hard to feed when she wakes up.
Feeling Twilight’s hooves start to slip from her back, Crimson gently pulled away. Twilight laid panting under her, her fur unstained for the most part. She was a bit weaker, but more than happy. Crimson smiled with her blood stained muzzle and kissed Twilight once more, though it was a quick teasing peck rather than anything too intimate. Though it was clear her little lover wanted more than just a kiss for doing as she had commanded.
“Poor Twilight, still so needy aren’t you? Maybe I can solve that, love.” Crimson’s voice was seductive more so than ever and as Twilight looked at her intently. Something new occured in the alicorn’s head.
Crimson’s coat was no longer charred. In fact, it just a very deep black with a fine bit of blue tips here and there. Something only their eyes could see. To any other pony in the world, Crimson would appear to just be a solid black mare. But that wasn’t the case, she had extremely fine tipped fur. Blue and res consume some of it.
“Please Crimson?” Twilight pleaded with all her heart.
Chapter Three and a Half, Clop Scene
Twilight desperately looked up at Crimson, she didn't know she what she was feeling. It was all new territory to Twilight, she hadn't ever explored anything aside from friendship and books for the most part. She hadn't ever imagined her first time, especially with a mare. She wasn't complaining though, she was more than happy with Crimson to take her innocence entirely.
Crimson's lips formed a smirk as she looked at the desperate Twilight. Twilight didn't know what she was desperate for, but Crimson knew exactly what she needed. "Poor Twily, in such a desperate need of attention." Crimson cooed her name seductively. Twilight nodded her head slowly before Crimson leaned in, Twilight waited for what felt like an eternity. Just wanting to feel Crimson, but instead she was withheld from it.
Twilight frowned for a moment and faltered slightly. "Please don't tease me Crimson." Twilight whispered and looked up hopefully at a smirking Crimson.
"Oh don't worry Twily, I won't tease you too much." Twilight intently listened to Crimson. She was dying to have something and the moment Crimson kissed her, pure instinct took over. Not to mention her desires of pleasure overruling any logic of Twilight. All she wanted was Crimson, she could care less about anything else. Twilight made a move as she gently bit down on Crimson's lip, Crimson smiled and moaned into the kiss allowing Twilight full control. Twilight's hooves tightly wrapped around Crimson as they shared their kiss, deeper down, Twilight knew exactly what she wanted. No mere kiss would substitute for it.
Slowly, to two mares moved away from each other, just enough with a single strand of saliva still connecting the two. Their eyes lock in the most intimate of ways as each of them sighed and moved back. Again, she shared another kiss, even sweeter than the last. Their eyes, each closed as they explored each other. Intimacy at its finest.
And with Crimson being the first to pull away, Twilight frowned. She wanted to much more from her. Little did she know she would get more than she bargained for. Twilight herself wasn't a mare that knew to horribly much about anything sexual, she hadn't expected this to go anywhere else aside from a make out session with Crimson. Though she could definitely imagine some stallion watching the two of them roll around in the dark.
Crimson looked down lustfully at the still desperate Twilight, already deciding on her plan of action. She would do a whole lot more than Twilight could dream of. A wet dream come true for some mares, but then there was Twilight. The virgin alicorn, with absolutely no experience or knowledge. And luckily she had just the mare to show her what pleasures another mare could bring. "Are you ready my little Twily?" Crimson asked in the sweetest, lustful tone she could manage. Crimson was more than ready for a different kind of taste of Twilight. But still she wouldn't push her too far.
Twilight smiled widely, unsure of what Crimson had meant exactly. "Yes I am more than ready for whatever you want to do Crimson." Twilight slurred, for one of the few times in her life, her mind was blank. With that being said, Crimson crawled down Twilight's body before she positioned herself at Twilight's back hooves. Which, out of her shy nature to this, covered what Crimson wanted. If Twilight could blush, she would surely be a bright red right now with Crimson smirking devilishly at her.
"Twilight, move your hooves." Crimson commanded, Twilight ever so submissively and shyly moved her hooves. Showing off a soaked marehood, Crimson licked her lips happily at the sight. She hadn't expected Twilight to be so aroused from just their make out session. But then again, she wasn't sure what she expected from the princess. It would certainly be something she had a privilege of one way or another. Dark or evil as she was, Crimson deep down wasn't a bad mare. And she'd prove it partially right here and now. Twilight would love her by the end of this, more so than now.
With nothing stopping her and a very needy Twilight, Crimson grabbed Twilight's back hooves and forced them down as she crept forward. Twilight wasn't sure what she was doing, but guessed that she would like it regardless if she was shy to it. With a warm feeling sliding through her marehood, Twilight moaned loudly. "C-Crimson?" She stuttered, loving the feeling as she looked down. She could see Crimson staring up at her for just a moment before she closed her eyes. Twilight watched and waited intently before she felt it again, Crimson's tongue slid right through her pussy. Sure it was slow, but it was more than Twilight needed to moan.
"She makes the most adorable moans." Crimson thought to herself as she savored the taste of her lover. Twilight had an interesting flavor for sure, sweet and tangy. Crimson happily brought her hooves up and spread Twilight's pussy. A nice, pink sight for sure. With a tiny bit of Twilight's juices covering Crimson's hooves, she shoved her muzzle up against Twilight's marehood and began licking slowly. Making sure to savour evry lick as Twilight moaned in a high pitched tone. Crimson had barely started yet, but soon slid her tongue farther into Twilight. Instantly she earned a satisfactory moan as she moved her tongue between Twilight's inner, not to mention moist walls. Tasting each bit of her as she circulated her tongue inside of Twilight.
"Ahh please don't stop!" Twilight moaned as she drew close to her first orgasm, high off of arousal. Crimson gladly sped up, hearing the cry of a moan from Twilight was something she came to like. Considering every little thing the alicorn moan, Crimson was more than certain she was her first. She could feel Twilight occasionally tightening as she panted. For a mare who didn't need to breathe, Twilight sure seemed to love to. Perhaps it was more habit than anything else. Regardless, Twilight was close as Crimson worked her tongue around.
Crimson moved back some and mainly focused on Twilight's sensitive clit. Twilight moaned loud, her voice echoing in the cave even as Crimson sucked at her clit and lapped up whatever juices leaked from Twilight. Each being sweeter than the last Twilight was falling over the edge of her orgasm. It was coming fast and strong, especially for her first. To Twilight, it felt amazingly blissful to her. Naughty in the best of ways as she bit her lip. Crimson seemed to take an immediate notice and left her mouth open as she spread Twilight's sweet pussy open.
In a massive wave of pleasuring, Twilight let out a soft ,=moan as her orgasm racked her body. Squirting her love juices into an awaiting mouth, only to be swallowed after savoring the taste. Crimson moaned quietly as she gently kissed Twilight's ever so sensitive marehood. Twilight was beyond satisfied as she laid in the afterglow. Her first orgasm and first time with a mare, all too perfect as Crimson laid beside her. Quickly, Crimson pulled Twilight close and kissed her. Sharing Twilight's taste from her lips. "I love you Twilight, don't forget it. It's more than right to love another mare." Crimson whispered into her ear as she broke their kiss.
Twilight was speechless as she leaned into Crimson, her head resting on her chest. She was tired now, unfortunately. And with that, Twilight passed out in the tight embrace of Crimson. Whose hooves were wrapped around her protectively. Tonight they would rest, the next, the hunt began. But for the moment, they simply enjoyed each other happily.
Chapter Four-The Hunt and a Dash
Elsewhere in Equestria, the sun was rising. Ponies were waking up and starting their days. Most off to work, other's simply pre4paring for the day. Which is what Spike and the rest of Twilight's friends were doing. Rainbow Dash had still been out cold the night before, but a scream had awoken them in the early dawn. Of course they all stayed the night at Rarity's, in hopes that when Rainbow awoke, they would have some answers. They just wished that they got a few more minutes of sleep, even Applejack, the mare who was used to waking up early wished for more time to slumber as the season was beginning to change.
"What in tarnation was that scream? Ah am trying to sleep here." Applejack groaned as she sat up in a guest bed, it was just up above where they had let Rainbow lay for the night. The sound of course woke everypony up, but Applejack was the first. And probably the most annoyed. Slowly she climbed out from the covers of the delightfully warm bed and made her way to the door. The moment she opened it, she heard every other door opened, followed by a very tired voice that she didn't quite recognize.
Pinkie was the owner of the voice, and at the moment, door neighbor of Applejack. "What's the big idea waking me up so early?" Pinkie whined in a low voice, laced in her sleepiness. It was no wonder Applejack didn't recognize the voice, she had never seen Pinkie up so early and now she knew why. She clearly wasn't a morning pony.
Rarity was the next to speak as she stepped out of her own bedroom with a half asleep Spike on her back. "I must say, what was that awful sound?" Rarity asked in her well refined voice, rolling the words out perfectly despite the hour in the morning. Everypony's head turned toward the stairs as another scream rippled through the silence and echoed through the hall. It was definitely a scream they all knew well. One of none other than Rainbow Dash when she failed a trick and was going to land painfully.
Applejack lead the way down the stairs. Her ears perked as she readied herself for anything. It wasn't like her friend to have nightmare's, much less to just scream. Something had to be the cause of it. And Applejack would figure out what could possibly be making her friend scream like that. As she rounded the corner into the living room, Rainbow Dash laid on the couch clutching her heart and breathing heavily. At least she was awake.
The group slowly trotted in behind Applejack after declaring it was safe and looked at their friend with concern. Fluttershy immediately joined Rainbow's side and nuzzled her size. "Alright y'all, can somepony tell me what all that was about and are you alright Rainbow?" Applejack asked, breaking the silence that had fallen to Rarity's home after the last scream.
"If you wouldn't mind telling us Dash, what happened to make you lock up midflight?" Fluttershy asked tiredly, but still in a concerned whisper. Everypony in the room waited for an answer as Pinkie seemed to fall asleep whilst standing. A heavy sigh left Rainbow as she tried to stretch her wing, only earning a whimper from as it stayed in place against her side.
Rarity looked down at, of course noticing that her limb seemed to be locked in place. Though she knew very little about a Pegasus's wing, versus a sore hoof that didn't want to move. Or a horn that didn't want to allow magic to travel through it. "Please darling, do tell us what's wrong. We have our hooves full as it, the less of a burden would make us all grateful." Rarity spoke, trying to encourage an answer from Rainbow Dash.
Finally, Rainbow Dash cleared her throat and took in a deep breath. She gazed from each of friends and nodded her head. "It's the Everfree, something happened. There was bright flash and a huge beam of light. I've never flown so fast in my life I think." Rainbow Dash finally answered, though it only left more questions. What could have happened to cause that?
The group looked to each other and then to Spike, who was slightly stirring. He wasn't going to be up anytime soon. "What kind of light exactly, Dash?" Applejack asked as Fluttershy stayed quiet. Rarity's interest was gained as well. It had been a long time since much of interest had happened in the Everfree. As strange and cold as that place was.
Rainbow Dash shook her head and gulped. "While I was trying to fly away from the light, to hopefully not get hurt from some unicorn's spell or somethi- I don't know!" Rainbow cried out and looked away. "All I know is that I felt something so cold and saw something so dark- I swear my heart stopped for a brief second there." The troubled mare explained, tossing her pride out. She hadn't ran from something before for the most part. Which is what really had Rraity and Applejack's attention, not to mention Fluttershy who knew her as the brave mare. The head first into danger kind of mare.
Rarity and Applejack looked at each other with the same idea, Twilight would have an idea of what it was or how to figure out what caused it. "If only we knew what happened to Twi, then maybe we could figure that mystery out as well." Applejack sighed, she was trying to stay hopeful that maybe Twilight would just walk right through that door, But she wouldn't, not now at least.
"We must send word to the princesses of this, while Twilight isn't here to deal with danger, it is of most importance that they be notified of strangeness. We must not allow some foe to sneak up on Equestria." Rarity gained everypony's attention and they all nodded.
Applejack had an idea, it wasn't the smartest or well thought one sure, but it was an idea. "Alright ahhave an idea, Rarity ah want you to stay here with Spike and Dash. When Spike wakes up, have him write and send a letter. In the meantime, ah myself and Fluttershy and Pinkie, if she's awake, will head in and try to get to the bottom of this." Applejack looked around for any complaints, but found Fluttershy shying away. A heavy sigh left the earthpony. Of all the times to shy away.
Rarity however narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "It's much to dangerous Applejack, you gals could get hurt or lost in there, if not worse." Rarity tried to talk her out of it with logic. but of course Applejack was as stubborn as any earthpony. She was set on this idea of hers. Element of honesty, sure. Element of not being a stubborn mare? No and Rarity knew that, but still hoped logic would overrule.
Pinkie yawned, but otherwise her eyes were closed shut. "Look y'all, somepony has got to investigate. If y'all wanna stay here, that's fine by me. I'll go alone, but it just might have something to do with Twilight even." Applejack backed up her idea with a simple fact, it could very well have something to with Twilight. And if it did, she would find out one way or another.
Rarity tried to stop her, but Applejack was already storming off. Trying to play the hero mare in a rough time. If she had any idea of what dangers that cursed forest really held, she would have joined Fluttershy. But instead, she was going home to get ready. She knew the path she could take, but she had an idea of where such a light would come from. It had to be the old castle. Nothing else could really be that magical there, not enough for that. Applejack thanked her comprehensive mind as she ran home and got ready to go. Later she would explore until the moon would shine down.
Meanwhile, Twilight and Crimson laid beside each other with dusk only moments away. Everything was going more than perfect for Crimson, except it felt too easy. Twilight was making quite the suitable protégé, and soon, Crimson could let her go as her plan set into action. She just had to learn a bit more and then she could really started throwing her plan together. She could hardly wait to see the faces of the two main rulers of Eqestria. She could only imagine that hate she would brew from them, not that it was anything compared to her hatred or anger.
Crimson licked her lips as she stood up, still tasting the sweetness of her protégé. In more than one way, but alicorn blood only made it all the more better. It was rare and perfected, not to mention rich with power. There was her real reason for having Twilight as hers. To build up her magic strength and physical. She was still weaker than an alicorn though. But in time, they would bow to her or face Tartarus and walk the path.
Sniffing the air, the faint metallic scent she knew all to well hit her like a train. The hunt was very much on. "Twilight, time to go. Now." Crimson commanded to Twilight, whom was still laying on the rock floor. Crimson sighed and rolled her eyes. "Really? Come on, you're a night breed and you're sleeping prime time?" Crimson thought to herself and stomped her hoof down. Cracking the rock ever so slightly and making Twilight jump straight up and land on high alert.
Twilight gulped as she looked at Crimson, whose eyes were glowing brightly and her muzzle in a perfect position to show her fangs off. "W-what's the big idea, I was sleeping." Twilight wined and Crimson only turned toward the cave's exit. Twilight followed, unsure of why. She'd much rather sleep.
"It is time to hunt Twilight, do you understand?" Crimson asked before stepping before the cave's exit. It was more than dark enough now, more than safe enough for the two hunters to begin. With that, Crimson stepped out and closed her eyes as her mane blew in the wind. The cold Everfree air hadn't changed. It was time to go, time to feast. Not to mention, time for something to die.
Twilight stepped out into the dark as well, the metallic scent that had alerted Crimson quickly got her attention as well. Though eyes stayed dim and her muzzle hiding her weapon of choice for this night. "I understand, I'm starved." Twilight grinned, showing her sharpened canines off to anything that could have seen. She was more than ready.
In silence, Crimson darted off with Twilight following close behind. Barely making a sound as they ran through the forest toward the scent. Driven by hunger and instinct, whatever the scent came from would surely be dead soon. As the scent only became stronger the closer they got, Crimson slowed to a stalking speed. Twilight got the idea quickly and did the same. Creeping along from the edge of a clearing, their eyes fell on a familiar orange earth pony laid in the grass, gazing up at the stars.
Applejack had definitely searched until moonlight, and even more than that. Except, the forest wasn't what got her. Just her own self, tripping over her own hooves and tripped. In fact, as Twilight gazed around, ignoring the bleeding mare surprisingly, her mind freed itself for a moment. Why wasn't the forest trying to kill them? Especially at this hour or prime? Where they were not the only hunters, but just two of the many things the dark forest held. In the same moment as she looked at Applejack, her better judgement became clouded. She had a need to feed, one she wouldn't push away.
She licked her lips and slowly crept in the grass toward the unaware mare. It would be an easy bite, at least in Twilight's fast thinking mind. And it would have been too, if it wasn't for some voices in the distance. Crimson was all too hopeful that Twilight would have attacked her friend, and instead of getting to see it happen, everypony became distracted as Pinkie's voice practically roared in the distance. "Applejack! Where are you!" Pinkie may as well have been using a giant megaphone.
Twilight hunkered down, holding her ears as they threatened to bleed. That high pitch and loudness factor was certainly an annoyance. Oh what she wouldn't give to make the ringing stop as Applejack turned around and got up. For the moment, she didn't notice Twilight laying in the grass with her hooves over her ears. "Curse that loud mare, she ruined a perfect bite." Crimson growled to herself and stayed in the shadows. This wasn't part of the plan at all, she had to get Twilight out of there, now. But she risked being seen at the same time. "Maybe I can play this out in my favor?" The dark mare asked herself as ideas brewed.
It became quite apparent of what she could do, it would be a change of plan, but it would get Twilight off of her hooves for a while. And with the sound of branches breaking not too far away, it was clear the whole team was here. It wasn't time to get rid of them yet, nor ethical to do it. Instead, Crimson waited. Twilight could be their problem for now. She could put her plan into action, she had taught Twilight what she needed, more or less. Anything else at this point was instinct and little to nothing more.
"Maybe she'll cause some mischief, whatever it won't matter. I'll call her when I need her to join me, until then, farewell Twilight." Crimson whispered as her friends ran through some of the plant life on the other side of the clearing. It was more than time to go, she could hunt elsewhere and Twilight would surely sink her fangs into some unfortunate pony.
"Okay, now what in tarnation are y'all doing here? I thought I said I got this." Applejack tried to hide her limp, but of course failed miserably. They all looked at with great concern and then all around as Twilight was still recovering.
Rarity stepped forward and looked at Applejack with her horn glowing brightly in the dark, yet again, more pain for Twilight even if she wasn't directly looking at it. "We have been worried sick darling and when you weren't back around dark, well we just had to come looking for you." Rarity spoke softly in elegant voice as per usual. Oddly showing little disgust for being in the forest on such a cold night. Applejack hadn't even noticed Spike on her back before he hopped off.
Applejack looked around and put her head down. Curse her honesty. "Okay, okay I got lost. Maybe this cursed forest is a little more complicated than I thought. But I got through mostly unscathed." Applejack put a false smile up, she was at least honest with everypony as Spike walked up to her.
"You had us all worried sick, Applejack." Fluttershy whispered from beside Rarity. Rainbow Dash, however wasn't there.
"Where's Rainbow?" Applejack asked, not spotting her form among the group.
"She stayed back incase Twilight came home." Spike said, his eyes seemed to catch something laying in the grass a bit away from Applejack.
That something was Twilight who had recovered now, at least her ears anyway. But she was breathing heavily with the scent of all of her friends, more importantly, food. Prey, it was all in one spot, but instincts told her to single one out and so she waited, hoping they didn't notice. She wasn't herself right now and Spike was going to learn.
"Guys, I think I found something!" The dragon just about shouted in happiness as he was sure it was a horn. His mind far too innocent to think of anything dark, such as a severed horn at least. No, he was sure it was Twilight, his own judgement of logic must've taken a vacation. The odds of it being Twilight were slim to none, despite that though, she was most certainly here awaiting her prey.
And to the unfortunate dragon, it was now or never as she sprung up. Her eyes glowing in the dark as she hissed and tackled Spike to ground. Nopony was sure what just happened, but they all rushed to his aid as Twilight tried to bite him. Failing miserably thanks to his scales. If she had one more shot, she would've picked a softer spot, but instead her mouth had a slight ache to it and it only angered her as Applejack pulled her off and pushed her away. But the moment Rarity's light shined down on the starving Twilight, Applejack regretted her decision instantly.
Twilight growled and quickly stood up with a speed that surprised the earthpony who wasn't used to a fast or for that matter, swift Twilight. Failing to back away as the rest helped Spike up and checked him, Twilight tackled Applejack down. Applejack out of natural instinct, put her hooves up and held Twilight back. It wasn't an even match though, Twilight was slightly overpowering her. "Little help here y'all!" She yelled to her friends who tried to get Twilight off. Applejack's back hoof was at fault, sprained and unusable for the most part.
"Twilight dear, what has gotten into you?" Rarity asked and only got a hiss as an answer. Too bad she didn't know what the hiss meant.
"Yeah Twi, what in the name of Celestia is with you!" Spike shouted from behind Rarity, a bit afraid to be near her at the moment. Fluttershy could only frown at her friend, she wasn't known for having a loud voice or anger really. And right now, she just wanted to be quiet as usual.
Pinkie wrapped her hooves around Twilight right as she would have been able to overpower Applejack, it was a much needed relief to the mare as she regained her strength. But Pinkie's strength was enough to keep Twilight still, all of those times almost crushing Twilight in hugs apparently paid off. Twilight continued to hiss and squirm, to no avail though. Her throat was only burning more with Pinkie holding her back. She was far beyond irritated now, she would happily rip the throat out of somepony with out second thought.
"Let me go this instant you insolent mare!" Twilight shouted, to which Pinkie hugged her tighter.
"Don't let her go Pinkie, we have to get her out of here and figure out what's wrong with her." Rarity was the first to speak with an idea. Everpony, minus Twilight agreed with it. They needed to get going before anything worse showed up. But they were forgetting one very important detail, she was an alicorn. And as they got ready to run like they never had before, Pinkie went flying past them, squealing happily as she rolled into the grass. Thrown by Twilight's magic.
Twilight stomped her hoof and growled, showing her fangs off to a very terrified Spike and Applejack. Her eyes were glowing a fiery red at this point, she had very well been the mare that walked through Tartarus and lived. Without any other warning, she lunged for Applejack and pinned her down. Applejack had little chance to retaliate or think, Twilight's movements were far too fast. And the only two things that stopped Twilight from ripping the earthpony's throat out was Spike pulling on her mane and a very weak magic aura holding her place.

Chapter One- Spilled Blood
It had been a long day for Twilight Sparkle as the day was coming to its end. She had done all of her duties she could for the most. A letter to princess Luna on account of getting ready for Nightmare Night. She had big plans to make this year a hit, even Flutter Shy was in on it. For such a shy mare, it surprised Twilight greatly that she would be a part of the holiday this year. Especially with how easy she could be scared, she was scared of her own shadow even. None the less, Twilight was deep in thought as she walked home on the cold night.
"Oh how I miss my treehouse, it was always so cozy on these chilly nights. But at least the castle is cozy as well, just not to what I'd really like. Oh how I miss waking up to somepony knocking at my door with a probl- actually, I'm pretty happy I don't get woken up like that anymore." The magenta coated alicorn muttered to herself as she shivered in the wind. She was happy with her castle and her friends, but the treehouse would always have a place in her heart. After all, it was where she started. Without it, who knows what would have happened? She may never have met her friends for all she knew.
In the very back of her mind, she was feeling quite reminiscent about the whole experience. She was a smart mare back then, but she had no idea how much she needed friendship or how much fun she could have with her friends. Let alone all the good she could do, it was a wonderfully warm feeling deep down and she cherished it. Oh if only she knew the night's future events as something crept up behind her, silent as the night itself. Twilight had no idea of the danger that followed her.
The castle wasn't too far now, just past the last house and then up the path. "I cannot wait to lay down and get some sleep, I have so much I have to do tomorrow if we're going to pull this off. I have to first check with Rarity and make sure that she can have the costumes ready." She paused for a moment and looked behind her. Seeing nothing, she continued her train of thought aloud. "Then I'll need to see what I will owe Applejack for the party and then with Pinkie to pl-Wait no, I should check with Pinkie first to double check with what we need." Twilight finished her train of thought as she passed the last house on the stretch. She was ready for the morning that would never come to her as the being from the dark emerged from the shadows and picked up the pace.
Twilight's ear twitched slightly as she barely heard a pair of hooves behind her. She sighed and tried to play along, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash loved to pull pranks around this time of year. With that in mind, she started to hum a gentle tune, as if fully unaware. "Nice try Pinkie, but I'm not going to fall for that." Twilight thought to herself as she put her hoof on the doorknob of the door to her castle. Home free, almost.
"Oh how wrong you were Twilight, oh just how wrong you were." A voice whispered into her ear before she felt a strong leg wrap around her throat and pull her back. The being let out a loud hiss as it dragged Twilight back in a victorious fashion. Luckily, Twilight was able to place a back hoof into whoever was dragging her and push them away. Quickly, Twilight turned around to see who it was, not that she had the chance before a cold hoof collided with her side and knocked the wind out of her. She stumbled slightly and coughed as she tried to get some air into her. She succeeded for a moment before another hoof collided with her side, much strong than the last. She stumbled once more, unsure of what to do before she tried to project a bubble around herself.
It must've been the nick of time because she heard a hoof collide with the bubble, luckily not breaking it. It was a strong shield spell. but not against physical attacks. It was the best Twilight could do right now as she tried to identity her attacker. She looked all around as she heaved heavily, only to find a pair of red eyes staring directly at her. She gulped as she stepped back from the eyes, feeling the danger radiate from them as heart skipped a beat. She knew she had a book about something like this, oh what was it? She couldn't remember and now sure wasn't the time as a red glow appeared above the pair of eyes. "Oh great, it's a unicorn." Twilight whispered to herself and prepared a spell. "Come on focus Twi-"
She was all to slow however as the attacking unicorn destroyed her bubble in a second and a bright flash of red that blinded Twilight. She stumbled backwards and covered her eyes. But it was far from over as she felt a body collide with hers and push her against the cold, hard unforgiving ground. She struggled and thrashed her hooves around before her attack pinned them down. As a last resort of panic, Twilight's horn began to glow as she accidentally teleported the two of them somewhere into the EverFree.
Her attacker hissed and slammed its hoof into her horn. Twilight yelped loudly and whimpered as the first of many tears slid down her face. She was beyond beaten now and she couldn't call for help if she wanted. But at least she could see her attacked with the moonlight shining perfectly down upon it. It, was a unicorn mare. Except, she looked as if she had been in a fire. Her body was charred by the looks of it, one ear was even in half with blood freshly dripping from it. Twilight silently shook in fear as more tears fell down her face. "W-what do you want!" Twilight screamed at the beast above her and cowered as the unnamed mare hissed. She was scared beyond her belief, her heart was racing as if it would pop out of her chest. And with no magic to use with her horn aching, she was useless.
"Shut your little mouth you pathetic excuse of a princess. Before I have to cram my hoof down your throat, got it?" The mare finally spoke, but in a commanding raspy voice. Twilight could smell smoke and perhaps even melted flesh. The unamed mare grinned as she exposed a pair of razor sharp fangs to Twilight. Her eyes widened as she screamed internally. There was no way this was happening. It had to be a dream, she couldn't die here. No, it couldn't be true. Twilight shook her head as her fear only increased.
The mare leaned down and sniffed at Twilight's neck, silently moaning as if she smelled delightful. Twilight could only imagine the sick thoughts, but she couldn't do much more otherwise. "Please don't do whatever yo-" Twilight couldn't even finish her sentence as the mare put a hoof over her mouth and dragged her fangs over Twilight's soft neck. She shook even more and cried, her tears falling into the forest floor as the mare antagonized her. The mare in question had quite literally beat Twilight and now, she wasn't sure what to expect other than for a myth to become reality.
"You're going to taste delicious and unless you want to die painfully, you're going to keep your mouth shut. Understand?" The mare asked and Twilight regretfully nodded her head as the mare gently kissed her lips. Twilight blushed in confusion, she had expected a bite, not a kiss. Sensing her confusion, the mare chuckled as she pulled away all too soon. "I'll pleasure my prey on occasion, but you- you are something special my dear. Something deserving of my embrace I think, even if you had little chance, you thought quickly." Her voice was oddly soft and not as raspy anymore.
Twilight sighed, still extremely confused as she looked up at her tormentor. "Thanks?" Twilight whispered, unsure if she should speak.
"Oh you're quite welcome, you made a nice hunt. I think I'll keep you around even. Now hold still, I meant it very well that you could die painfully." The mare's word burned into Twilight's mind and made her whimper. She wasn't a mare for pain, she was a mare for nuzzling perhaps. Silently she hoped the monstrous mare would change her mind and let her go. But she knew far better than to hope for something so foolish and her hopes were entirely crushed as she lost her focus. It was a sharp pain as the mare sank her retched fangs into Twilight's soft flesh. It racked throughout her body as she felt herself entirely still. Even her heart slowed down for a moment from its race.
Twilight let out a quiet whimper and flinched as she felt the mare lap at the wound she had created. It was an odd feeling to say the least. Not exactly painful and on a note, sort of pleasurable. At a moment, her mind went blank as she could only focus on the moon above her. This was it, she was sure this is where she would die. Alone and away from her friends. Afraid and cold, not to mention at the hooves of a mare who was far stronger than her in strength. Maybe if Twilight hadn't been so tired from getting things ready early, she could've handled the mare in a duel. But it was too late for that now as the mare continued to lap and suck at the bite. Moaning every so often as Twilight's blood filled her mouth and eventually was swallowed. Twilight was downright freezing as the mare swallowed her blood-something she really needed to live. Her body was becoming colder and occasionally, she would barely be able to keep her eyes open. "P-please..." Twilight tried to whisper, but nothing but out but a whimper from it.
She was getting weaker by the second and for the moment, she was just glad it wasn't painful. Or nearly as bad as it could have been. In her mind she also drew the idea she may have saved some lives by teleporting to the forest. This monster would likely kill her and be satisfied for now at least. And with that in her mind, Twilight felt her last grip on life slip away as her she took her final breath. All over Equestria, a coldness could be felt by everypony. Something was terribly wrong, an element was dead. The most vital part, the magic that bound the elements of harmony. And not one mare or stallion knew what had happened out there in the dark, cold and feared forest. A new era had just began for their perfect world and a new evil was coming, except it was accompanied by their greatest ally and for many, friend. But no more. And it all starts with the Princess of Friendship.
